Teaching plan
一、Content: Unit 2,chapter 3 With my senses...
二、Knowledge aim:
1、The text of chapter 3 is talk about senses;
2、Understand and speak out the nine new words:
Smell plan flower cow hear banana see cloud with
3、Study the new sentences: What can you do? I can smell a flower. I can hear a plane.
I can see a cloud.
三、Teaching aim:
1、Aims on the knowledge:
(1) To enable the students master the new words and new sentences.
(2).To enable the students understand the meaning of new words and sentences, let students know how to read them.
2、Aims on the abilities
(1) Let students can use the new words and sentences fluently and make sure that students can use them in everyday life.
(2) Improve the students' abilities of listening and speaking;
(3).Develop students' imaginations and build their interests of learning English.
四、Important point:
1、To enable the students understand and make sure they can read the new words and sentences.
五、Difficult points:
1、To help the students cooperation with each other and make sure they can use the new words and sentences correctly.
2、Help the students develop the interest of learning English.
六、Teaching aids:
Multimedia, cards, stickers.
七、Teaching steps:
Step 1 :Warm up. Let the students sing a song , ABC song to draw their attention to the class.
Step 2:Review. Review the words they have learned before (eye nose ear) though a video, that can develop their interests and take them into the class.
Step 3::Presentation.
Words presentation :This step is very important in a class, I will use the multimedia to presentation,a beautiful picture with a flower, a cow, a plane and clouds. These are the new words of this chapter. And then I will take out the cards of new words to teach them.
T: This is flower, follow me "flower", "f-l-o-w-e-r, flower". Every word will teach like this.
Then I will design a game, "The bomb game".
T:I will draw a bomb like this, if I finish drawing,you should say "Bang",OK?
At last, let the students read the new word together and teach them how to do the three words' (hear see smell) action.
Sentence presentation: I will also use the multimedia to take out the new sentences,I can smell a flower,I can hear a plane and I can see a cloud. With the nice picture, the students can focus on what the teacher will talk about. And then I will write the sentence on the blackboard to teach them how to read and let them understand what's the meaning of the three sentences. Now, it's time to play a game.
I say you do, I will let some students stand up ,the other students should say the sentence I give to,and the students who stand up should do the action. Then I will use the multimedia to teach them a chant "Nose nose nose nose . What can you do? What can you do?I can smell,I can smell.You are good,you are good." to consolidate what they learned in this class, at last, asking them a few questions to check the new knowledge they learned.
八、Summary:
I will ask the students three questions to check how much knowledge they have learned in this class.
九、Homework:
Copy the new words and sentences of this chapter, listen and read the recording of this chapter.
