Hill, and I am a professor of law at the University of Oklahoma. I was born on a farm in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma, in 1956. I am the youngest of 13 children. I had my early education in Okmulgee County. My father, Albert Hill, is a farmer in that area. My mothers name is Irma Hill. She is also a farmer and a housewife. My childhood was one of a lot of hard work and not much money, but it was one of solid family affection, as represented by my parents. I was reared in a religious atmosphere in the Baptist faith, and I have been a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, since 1983. It is a very warm part of my life at the present time. For my undergraduate work, I went to Oklahoma State University and graduated from there in 1977. I am attaching to this statement a copy of my resume for further details of myeducation.I graduated from the university with academic honors and proceeded to the Yale Law School, where I received my JD degree in 1980. Upon graduation from law school, I became a practicing lawyer with the Washington, DC, firm of Ward, Hardraker, and Ross.In 1981, I was introduced to now Judge Thomas by a mutual friend. Judge Thomas told me that he was anticipating a political appointment, and he asked if I would be interested in working with him. He was, in fact, appointed as Assistant Secretary of Education for Civil Rights. After he had taken that post, he asked if I would become his assistant, and I accepted that position. In my early period there, I had two major projects. The first was an article I wrote for Judge Thomas signature on the education of minority students. The second was the organization of a seminar on highrisk students which was abandoned because Judge Thomas transferred to the EEOC where he became the chairman of that office.During this period at the Department of Education, my working relationship with Judge Thomas was positive. I had a good deal of responsibility and independence. I thought herespected my work and that he trusted my judgment. After approximately three months of working there, he asked me to go out socially with him. What happened next and telling the world about it are the two most difficult things experiences of my life. It is only after a great deal of agonizing consideration and sleepless number a great number of sleepless nights that I am able to talk of these unpleasant matters to anyone but my close friends.I declined the invitation to go out socially with him and explained to him that I thought it would jeopardize what at the time I considered to be a very good working relationship. I had a normal social life with other men outside of the office. I believed then, as now, that having a social relationship with a person who was supervising my work would be illadvised. I was very uncomfortable with the idea and told him so.I thought that by saying no and explaining my reasons my employer would abandon his social suggestions. However, to my regret, in the following few weeks, he continued to ask me out on several occasions. He pressed me to justify my reasons for saying no to him. These incidents took place in his office or mine. They were in the form of private conversations which would not have been overheard by anyone else.My working relationship became even more strained when Judge Thomas began to use work situations to discuss sex. On these occasions, he would call me into his office for reports on education issues and projects, or he might suggest that, because of the time pressures of his schedule, we go to lunch to a government cafeteria. After a brief discussion of work, he would turn the conversation to a discussion of sexual matters. His conversations were very vivid. He spoke about acts that he had seen in pornographic films involving such matters as women having sex with animals and films showing group sex or rape scenes. He talked about pornographic materials depicting individuals with large penises or large breasts involved in various sex acts. On several occasions, Thomas told me graphically of his own sexual prowess.Because I was extremely uncomfortable talking about sex with him at all and particularly in such a graphic way, I told him that I did not want to talk about these subjects. I would also try to change the subject to education matters or to nonsexual personal matters such as his background or his beliefs. My efforts to change the subject were rarely successful.Throughout the period of these conversations, he alsofrom time to time asked me for social engagements. My reaction to these conversations was to avoid them by eliminating opportunities for us to engage in extended conversations. This was difficult because at the time I was his only assistant at the Office of Education or Office for Civil Rights.During the latter part of my time at the Department of Education, the social pressures and any conversation of his offensive behavior ended. I began both to believe and hope that our working relationship could be a proper, cordial, and professional one. When Judge Thomas was made chair of the EEOC, I needed to face the question of whether to go with him. I was asked to do so, and I did. The work itself was interesting, and at that time it appeared that the sexual overtures which had so troubled me had ended. I also faced the realistic fact that I had no alternative job. While I might have gone back to private practice, perhaps in my old firm or at another, I was dedicated to civil rights work, and my first choice was to be in that field. Moreover, the Department of Education itself was a dubious venture. President Reagan was seeking to abolish the entire department. For my first months at the EEOC, where I continued to bean assistant to Judge Thomas, there were no sexual conversations or overtures. However, during the fall and winter of 1982, these began again. The comments were random and ranged from pressing me about why I didnt go out with him to remarks about my personal appearance. I remember his saying that some day I would have to tell him the real reason that I wouldnt go out with him.高校英语励志演讲稿范文3Ladies and Gentlemen, Good morning! Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon! It is my great honor to stand before you today and share some thoughts on how we, as college students, can embrace challenges and achieve greatness. College is a transformative period in our lives, where we are not only acquiring knowledge but also developing the skills and attitudes that will shape our future. Let us embark on this journey together, inspired by the power of determination, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence.Firstly, let us acknowledge the significance of this moment. College is a gateway to a world of possibilities, where we have the chance to explore our interests, develop our talents, and build a foundation for our careers. However, with great opportunities come great challenges. The road to success is often paved with obstacles, and it is up to us to navigate through them with courage and determination.Challenges are an inevitable part of life, and they are especially prevalent in college. We may face academic pressures, financial difficulties, personal struggles, and uncertainty about our future. But let us not forget that challenges are also opportunities in disguise. They push us to grow, learn, and become stronger individuals. One of the first steps in embracing challenges is to adopt a positive mindset. As college students, we must believe in ourselves and our abilities. When we encounter obstacles, let us not see them as roadblocks but as stepping stones. Remember, the only way to move forward is to face our fears and take risks. To succeed in college and beyond, we need to develop resilience. Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity and continue moving forward. Life is unpredictable, and we will undoubtedly face setbacks. However, it is our resilience that will determine how we react to these setbacks. Here are some ways to build resilience:1. Embrace failure: Failure is a natural part of life and learning. Instead of being discouraged by it, view it as a learning opportunity.Analyze what went wrong and how you can improve. Remember, success is not the absence of failure but the courage to continue trying.2. Set realistic goals: Set achievable goals that challenge you but are still attainable. Break down your goals into smaller, manageable tasks, and celebrate your progress along the way. This will give you a sense of accomplishment and motivation to keep going.3. Seek support: Surround yourself with people who uplift you and offer support. This could be friends, family, professors, or mentors. When you face challenges, lean on them for guidance and encouragement.4. Practice self-care: Take care of your physical and mental well-being. Exercise, eat well, get enough sleep, and engage in activities that bring you joy. A healthy body and mind are essential for resilience.5. Develop a growth mindset: Cultivate a mindset that thrives on challenges and sees failure as a stepping stone to success. Embrace the idea that you can always improve and learn from your experiences. In addition to resilience, another key ingredient to achieving greatness is determination. Determination is the unwavering commitment to our goals, even in the face of adversity. Here are some tips to foster determination:1. Stay focused: Keep your eyes on the prize and stay committed to your goals. Avoid distractions and maintain your focus on what truly matters.2. Visualize success: Imagine yourself achieving your goals and the satisfaction it will bring. Visualization can be a powerful tool to keep you motivated and determined.3. Stay persistent: Do not give up easily. Persistence is the key to overcoming obstacles and achieving long-term success.4. Be adaptable: Be willing to adjust your plans and strategies as needed. Sometimes, we may need to change our approach to achieve our goals.5. Believe in your dreams: Have faith in your abilities and the vision you have for your future. Belief in oneself is a powerful force that can propel us towards greatness. As college students, we have the unique opportunity to shape our future and make a positive impact on the world. Let us not waste this precious time by settling for mediocrity. Instead, let us strive for excellence and embrace the challenges that come our way.In conclusion, to achieve greatness, we must embrace challenges, develop resilience, and cultivate determination. Believe in yourselves, stay focused on your goals, and never lose sight of your dreams. Remember, the journey to success is not an easy one, but it is worth every effort. As you move forward in your college years and beyond, I challenge you to:1. Take risks and step out of your comfort zone.2. Surround yourself with inspiring people and seek guidance when needed.3. Always be open to learning and growing.4. Embrace your unique talents and passions.5. Stay true to your values and make a positive impact on the world.Congratulations on taking this journey, and may you find success, fulfillment, and happiness along the way. Thank you for listening, and best of luck to each and every one of you.Godspeed!。

大学生励志英语文章范文3份大学生励志英语文章 1I do not know who wrote those words, but I have always liked them asa reminder that the future can be anything we want to make it. We can take the mysterious, hazy future and carve out of it anything that we can imagine, just as a sculptor carves a statue from a shapeless stone. We are all in the position of the farmer. If we plant a good seed, we reap a good harvest. If our seed is poor and full of weeds, we reap a useless crop. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.I want the future to be better than the past. I don’t want it contaminated by the mistakes and errors with which history is filled. We should all be concerned about the future because that is where we will spend the remainder of our lives. The past is gone and static. Nothing we can do will change it. The future is before us and dynamic. Everything we do will affect it. Each day brings with it new frontiers, in our homes and in our business, if we only recognize them. We are just at the beginning of the progress in every field of human endeavor.[参考译文]“我们正在读一本书的第一章第一行,这本书的页数是无限的。

We are producing waste every moment.Generally speaking, there are four sorts of waste. They are material waste, organic waste, inorganic waste and poisonous & harmful waste. Now,we are going to talk about each sort of waste one by one.Material waste:it means the waste of substance or things from which something else can be made. For example, people throw away the used metal products and buy a new one,so the old metal waste accumulates. At last, they become waste. For example, when people finish reading newspaper, the paper will become waste. When the glass is broken,it also becomes waste. Nobody wants to use a broken window or drink with a brokenglass or wear a pair of broken glasses. Once it is broken,it becomes waste. The rate of using plastics is increasing day by day. People use plastic bags because they are convenient. When they get home, they throw the plastics way, paying no attention to the environment. The more convenience plastics brings to us,the more plastic waste is produced. This is called “white pollution” as most plastics are white. Some of our products we use every day are made of rubber, just like the tyres and the bottom part of our shoes. It’s true that rubber plays an important role in our life. However,it also brings us some trouble when it has been used for a long time and becomes old. The old tyres become waste because it can’t break down by nature. This is really a big problem.励志英语演讲稿篇4Dear,It is not easy to think positive thoughts when the world around you appearsto be so fact, it can be as difficult as anything you’ve ever ver, it is absolutely possible to fill your mind with positive thoughts nomatter what the environment g so makes you powerful like nothing elsecan. To think positively is to alignyourselfwith1 the truth that you’reimmersed2 in limitless, grow ing think positively is to pleasantlyaccept that your life is full of meaningful and unique achievements.Instead of placing a judgement on your situation, apply your most positivepurposes to that ead of seeing the world as negative, seeyourself as a powerful agent of the positive possibilities. If you find yourself giving in to negativity, you are sellingmoment you feel the slightest pain of a negative thought, stop andremind yourself how powerful you the intentional work of keeping yourthoughts use whatever you always think is where your life willsurely and steadily go.励志英语演讲稿篇5Dear,I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the truemeaning of its creed-we hold theses truths to be self-Oevident, that all men arecreated equal. 第1篇Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning! It is a great honor to stand before you today and share my thoughts on the power of dreams and determination. As college students, we are at a pivotal point in our lives, where we have the potential to shape our future and make a significant impact on the world. Today, I want to inspire you to embrace your dreams, stay determined, and never give up.First and foremost, let us talk about dreams. Dreams are the seeds ofour future, the guiding stars that light our path. They are the things we yearn for, the goals we strive to achieve. Dreams can be big or small, simple or complex, but they all have one thing in common: they push usto grow, to become better versions of ourselves. As college students, we have the unique opportunity to explore our interests, discover our passions, and cultivate our talents. We are surrounded by resources, mentors, and like-minded individuals who can help us navigate our journey. However, it is essential to remember that dreams are not just wishes; they require hard work, dedication, and perseverance.Take, for example, my own dream of becoming a successful writer. When I first set my sights on this goal, I was filled with excitement and optimism. But I soon realized that achieving this dream would not be easy. It would require me to put in countless hours of research, practice, and self-discipline. I had to learn to balance my studies, work, and personal life, while constantly seeking feedback and refining my skills.Throughout this journey, I encountered numerous challenges and setbacks. There were times when I felt overwhelmed, defeated, and ready to give up. However, it was my dream that kept me going, reminding me of the reasons why I started this journey in the first place. I realized that giving up was not an option; it was my responsibility to persevere and keep moving forward. This brings me to the second essential element of success: determination. Determination is the fuel that powers our dreams, the unwavering commitment to achieving our goals, despite the obstacles that may arise. It is the difference between those who give up easily and those who succeed in the end.Determination requires us to embrace failure as a learning opportunity, to pick ourselves up and keep moving forward. It demands that we stay focused and disciplined, even when things get tough. And most importantly, it requires us to believe in ourselves, to have faith that we can overcome any obstacle that stands in our way.Consider the story of J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series. When she was struggling to find a publisher for her first novel, she faced countless rejections. Many people told her that her dream was impossible, that she should give up. However, J.K. Rowling remained determined, and her unwavering belief in her dream eventually paid off. Today, the Harry Potter series is one of the most successful and beloved book series in history. In conclusion, the power of dreams and determination is undeniable. As college students, we have the potential to achieve great things, to make a positive impact on the world. But we must first believe in ourselves, embrace our dreams, and stay determined to achieve them. Here are some tips to help you harness the power of dreams and determination:1. Set clear, achievable goals: Define your dreams and break them down into smaller, manageable goals. This will help you stay focused andtrack your progress.2. Embrace challenges: View challenges as opportunities to learn and grow. When faced with setbacks, don't give up; instead, analyze whatwent wrong and find ways to improve.3. Surround yourself with supportive people: Seek out mentors, friends, and family members who believe in you and will encourage you to keep going.4. It is my great honor to stand before you today and share with you some thoughts on the road to success in college. College is a transformative period in our lives, a time when we are not only learning academic knowledge but also cultivating our character and preparing for the future. As young adults, we face numerous challenges, but with determination, resilience, and a positive mindset, we can turn these challenges into opportunities for growth. Let me share with you some insights that have guided me through my college journey.First and foremost, embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. College life is filled with challenges, from academic pressures to personal struggles. It is easy to feel overwhelmed, but remember that challenges are not meant to hinder us; they are meant to shape us. When we encounter obstacles, we have a choice: to let them define us or torise above them. One of the first challenges we face in college is academic pressure. The transition from high school to college can be daunting, as we are expected to handle more complex subjects and assignments. However, this is also an opportunity to develop critical thinking and problem-solvingskills. Instead of viewing difficult courses as a burden, see them as a chance to expand your knowledge and capabilities. Seek help when needed, collaborate with classmates, and don't be afraid to ask questions. Remember, the more challenges you face, the stronger you become.Another challenge in college is managing time effectively. With a packed schedule of classes, extracurricular activities, and social events, it can be easy to feel like you're constantly running out of time. The key is to prioritize your tasks and set realistic goals. Use a planner or digital calendar to organize your schedule, and make sure to allocate time for studying, relaxation, and personal development. Remember that balance is crucial; don't overcommit yourself, and don't forget to take care of your mental and physical health.Personal growth is another challenge that college presents. As we step out of our comfort zones and explore new experiences, we may encounter self-doubt and uncertainty. It is important to be patient with ourselves and embrace the learning process. Reflect on your values, beliefs, and goals, and be open to new perspectives. Surround yourself with supportive friends and mentors who can provide guidance and encouragement. Remember that personal growth is a lifelong journey, and college is just the beginning.Networking is also a significant challenge in college. Building a strong professional network can open doors to numerous opportunities, including internships, jobs, and collaborations. Take the initiative to connect with people from different backgrounds and interests. Attend networking events, join student organizations, and participate in internships. Remember that networking is not just about what you can get from others; it's also about what you can offer them. Be genuine, be helpful, and be proactive.Lastly, let us not forget the importance of perseverance. Success is not achieved overnight; it requires hard work, dedication, and persistence. There will be moments when you feel like giving up, but remember that these moments are the ones that define your character. Keep your goalsin mind, and don't let setbacks discourage you. Believe in yourself, and never lose sight of your dreams. In conclusion, college is a journey filled with challenges, but it is also a time of immense growth and opportunity. By embracing challenges, managing time effectively, fostering personal growth, networking, and persevering through difficulties, we can turn our college experienceinto a stepping stone for success. Remember that success is not measured by the achievements we attain, but by the person we become along the way.Thank you for your attention, and may your college journey be filled with endless possibilities and remarkable achievements.第3篇Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand before you today and share my thoughts on the power of perseverance in university life. As a university student myself, I have experienced numerous challenges and setbacks. However, it is through these tough times that I have learned the importance of perseverance and how it can shape our lives. In this speech, I will discuss the significance of embracing challenges and the role perseverance plays in achieving our goals.Firstly, let us acknowledge that university life is filled with challenges. We are exposed to new subjects, concepts, and ideas that require us to stretch our minds and abilities. The academic workload is demanding, and we often find ourselves juggling multiple tasks simultaneously. Moreover, the social aspect of university life can be challenging as well. We are expected to adapt to a new environment, make new friends, and develop our social skills. In the face of these challenges, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and defeated. However, it is precisely at these moments that we must embrace the power of perseverance. Perseverance is the ability to continue striving towards our goals despite setbacks and obstacles. It is the driving force that propels us forward, allowing us to overcome adversity and achieve success. One of the key reasons why perseverance is so important in university life is that it fosters resilience. Resilience is the capacity torecover quickly from difficulties and setbacks. When we encounter challenges, we may feel discouraged and tempted to give up. However, if we persevere, we develop resilience, enabling us to bounce back and continue striving towards our goals.Let me share an example from my own experience. During my first semester at university, I struggled with a particular subject. The coursework was challenging, and I felt overwhelmed by the workload. Initially, I felt like giving up. However, I reminded myself of the importance of perseverance and decided to push through the tough times. With hard work, dedication, and a positive mindset, I eventually overcame thedifficulties and excelled in the subject. This experience taught me the value of perseverance and how it can help us achieve our goals.Another reason why perseverance is crucial in university life is that it promotes personal growth. Challenges force us to step out of our comfort zones and develop new skills. As we overcome obstacles, we learnvaluable lessons about ourselves and our capabilities. Perseverancehelps us to become more adaptable, confident, and self-reliant.To embrace challenges and develop perseverance, it is essential to adopt a growth mindset. A growth mindset is the belief that our abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedication and hard work. Individuals with a growth mindset are more likely to persist in the face of challenges and view setbacks as opportunities for learning and growth. To cultivate perseverance, we can also surround ourselves withsupportive individuals. Having a strong support system can provide us with encouragement and motivation during difficult times. Friends, family, mentors, and professors can offer guidance, advice, and a listening ear when we need it most.In conclusion, embracing challenges and developing perseverance are essential skills for university life. Challenges are an inevitable part of our journey, and it is through perseverance that we can overcome adversity and achieve our goals. By fostering resilience, promoting personal growth, and adopting a growth mindset, we can harness the power of perseverance to shape our lives and achieve success.Ladies and gentlemen, let us not shy away from challenges but instead embrace them with open arms. Let us persevere through the tough times and believe in our abilities to overcome obstacles. As we navigate the complexities of university life, may we remember that perseverance is the key to unlocking our full potential.Thank you for your attention, and may we all find the strength and determination to persevere in our endeavors.[End of speech]。

大学生励志英文演讲稿篇一change the world? change ourselvesgood evening, honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen.it’s my great pleasure to stand here to present my speech—change the world, change ourselves.it’s noticable that western holidays are becoming increasingly popular day by day, while chinese traditional festivals are being somewhat neglected. not long before about 10 doctors in beijing university and qinghua unversity announced that we should reject the invasion of western holidays ,because they regard western holidays as an challenge against our traditional festivals and culture.frankly speakin g, i don’t quite agree with them.indeed, we should never neglect or even discard our traditonal festivals as china boasts a brilliant history and splendid traditions. (examples).but why can’t we absorb the meaningful western holidays and culture.there are obvious reasons why some western holidays are so popular in china. on the one hand, some of the western holidays which we chinese don’t have are reasonable and meaningful, such as father’s day and april fool’s day etc. on the other hand, the prevalence of globalization enables western culture to prevail in china. overwhelmed by such a trend, chinese unconsiciously get involved in western holidays and culture.with the further development of the whole world, the cultural communication between different countries and nations becomes faster and more and more important. we are indeed from different nations, but we are the citizens of the same world, so the outstanding culture of different nations is the commom wealth of everyone on the earth.the only way for us to protect our traditional culture is to reject the foreign culture? the answer is definitely no. what we ought to do is to spare no effort to educate chinese to get to know and treasure our splendid traditions instead of rejecting foreign culture. only by educating can we set our confidence and belief towards our culture. only by educating can we preserve and promote the wealth that our ancesters left for us.at last i’d like to share a famouse saying of gandhi with all of you ,that is:if you want to change the world, then you must change yourself first.”大学生励志英文演讲稿篇二good morning/evening/afternoon, ladies and gentlemen : today, my speech is about talents,in my opionion, talents are indispensable in nowadays society. as is known to all that the fight among countries is actually the fight among talents.first, i'd like to define the word"talent" in my idea, a talent is one person who is good at or expertised in some or multiple areas. nowadays, as the world developing goes on , if one country want to rank top or do a good in the world, the country must have many talents.for example, china, the biggest developing country in the world, in the past 100 years, is always invaded by other countries, why ,the reason is that china at that time had not so many talents. if they had anti-intrusion leader talents in the war, needless to say, they would have beat those bigpowers.if they had talents in weapons manufacturing, nodody dares to provoke us.however, nowadays, it's a totally different situation, china has become powerfulin all over the world, why ? because there are many talents serving the country, the civilians become more and more literated.more and more people go to university, more and more people come to receive further education. so what is that in return, talents in army protect our country from invasion, talents in commerce help make our economy keep in improving, talents in aerospace make the world see chinese manned spacecraft flying. talents in sports make china rank the first in the olympic games......to sum up, talents will play a more and more impoetant role in the world, if one country intends to flourish, he must foster talents as many as they can ,that's all, thank you.大学生励志英文演讲稿篇三The footsteps of the 2015 World Expo is getting closer and closer to us, civilized and harmonious call is still ringing in my ears. 大学生英语励志演讲稿1feeling of youthno young man believes he shall ever die. it was a saying of my brother's, and a fine one. there is a feeling of eternity in youth, which makes us amend for everything. to be young is to be as one of the immortal gods. one half of time indeed is flown-the other half remains in store for us with all its countletreasures; for there is no line drawn, and we see no limit to our hopes and wishes. we make the coming age our own-the vast, the unbounded prospect lies before us.death. old age. are words without a meaning. that paby us like the idea air which we regard not. others may have undergone, or may still be liable to them-we "bear a charmed life“, which laughs to scorn all such sickly fancies. as in setting out on delightful journey, we strain our eager gaze forward- bidding the lovely scenes at distance hail!and see no end to the landscape, new objects presenting themselves as we advance; so, in the commencement of life, we set no bounds to our inclinations. nor to the unrestricted opportunities of gratifying them. we have as yet found no obstacle, no disposition to flag; and it seems that we can go on so forever. we look round in a new world, full of life, and motion, and ceaseleprogress; and feel in ourselves all the vigor and spirit to keep pace with it, and do not foresee from any presentsymptoms how we shall be left behind in the natural course of things, decline into old age, and drop into the grave. it is the simplicity, and as it were abstractedneof our feelings in youth, that (so to speak) identifies us with nature, and (our experience being slight and our passions strong) deludes us into a belief of being immortal like it. our short-lives connection with existence we fondly flatter ourselves, is an indissoluble and lasting union-a honeymoon that knows neither coldness, jar, nor separation. as infants smile and sleep, we are rocked in the cradle of our wayward fancies, and lulled into security by the roar of the universe around us0we quaff the cup of life with eager haste without draining it, instead of which it only overflows the more-objects prearound us, filling the mind with their magnitude and with the strong of desires that wait upon them, so that we have no room for the thoughts of death.大学生英语励志演讲稿2everyone has his ownunderstanding of young,it is a period of time of beauty and wonders, only after you haveexperienced the sour ,sweet ,bitter and salty can you really become a person of significance.thre time of young is limitted,it may paby without your attention, and when you discover what has happened ,it is always too late.grasping the young well means a better time is waiting for you in the near future,or the situation may be opposite .having a view on these great men in the history of hunmanbeing, they all made full use of their youth time ,to do things that are useful to society,to the whole mankind, and as a cosquencyanjianggao/e ,they are remembered by later generations, admired by everyone.so do something in the time of young, although you may not get achievements as thesegreatmen did ,though not for the whole word, just for youeself, for those around!the young is just like blooming flowers, they are so beautiful when blooming, they make people feel happy, but with time passing by,after they withers ,moet people think they are ugly.and so it is the same with young,we are enthusiastic when we are young, then we may lose our passion when getting older and older.so we must treasure it ,don't let the limitted time paby ,leaving nothing of significance.as you slowly open your eyes, look around, notice where the light comes into your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshnein the air.yes, yes, yes, it’s a new day, it’s a different day, and it’s a bright day! and most importantly, it’s a new beginning for your life, a beginning where you are going to make new decisions, take new actions, make new friends, and take your life to a totally unprecedented(空前的) level.in your mind’s eye, you can see clearly the things you want to have, the paces you intend to go, the relationships you desire to develop, and the positions you aspire(励志) to reach.you can hear your laughters of joy and happineon the day when everything happens as you dream. you can see the smiles on the people around you when the magic moment strikes. you can feel your face is getting red, your heart is beating fast, and your blood is rushing all over your body, to every single corner of your being!you know all this is real as long as you are confident, passionate and committed!(效忠的) and you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed!you will no longer fear ma-ki-ng new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways, approaching new people, and asking new questions.you will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you take.you will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of your life. you will never succumb(屈服,屈从) to challenges of hardships.you will never waver(动摇) in your pursuit of excellence. after all, you are the best, and you deserve the best!as your coach and friend, i can assure you the door to all the best things in the world will open to you, but the key to that door is in your hand. you must do your part. you must faithfully follow the plans you make and take the actions you plan; you must never quit and you must never fear. i know you must do it, you can do it, you will do it, and you will succeed! now stand firm and tall, make a fist, get excited, and yell it out:i must do it! i can do it! i will do it! i will succeed!i must do it! i can do it! i will do it! i will succeed!i must do it! i can do it! i will do it! i will succeed!大学生英语励志演讲稿3Distinguished judges, teachers, dear friends:Hello, everyone! My name is cheng xiang yan , I am a junior student come from life science institution .Today, I am very glad to stand here and share with you my most sincere speech‘Flying youth, master our futur e!’Life is a process of growing up. Saying goodbye to childhood, we step into another important time of life in the pace of young, facing new situations, dealing with different problems.....However, who can really say what the youth is ? A period of time? A belief? An attitude to life? Or anything else? actually, everyone has his ownunderstanding of young, it is a period of time of beauty and wonders, only after you have experienced the sour , sweet ,bitter and salty, can you really become a person of significance.Just like A famous poet said ‘ youth is a lovely song ,where nothing is impossible ,youth is a meaningful book, you’ll be never bored of it ;youth is a rapid river ,it keeps on flowing day and night ;youth is a cup of tea ,it shows you different kinds of tastes in your life.As youth is so precious, of course, we must treasure it .Don’t let the limited time pass by, grasping the young will means a better time is waiting for you in the near future. So,It’s necessary for us to prepare ourselves well for the future to come. having a view on those great men in the history of hunman being, they all made full use of their youth time to do things that are useful to society, to the whole mankind, and as a consequence ,they are remembered by later generations, admired by everyone. so do something in the time of young, although you may not get achievements as these greatmen did ,though not for the whole world, just for youeself, for those around! So, what should we do when we are young? Here,I’ll point out some tips to help equip ourselves.First of all, think of what you’d like to be some day. A teacher ? A doctor ? A writer? Don’t afraid of dreaming of big and great .Since you are young , you can dream of doing anything and becoming anyone in the future. What’s more , never ignore the power of knowledge. Read more books and travel around. For one thing, it can increase your knowledge, for another, it’llbroaden your horizon.Last but not the least , stick to your dream. It easier said than done. After all, future is not all roses. young is just like blooming flowers, they are so beautiful when blooming, which make people feel happy, but with time passing by, after they withers ,most people think they are ugly. and so it is the same with young, we are enthusiastic when we are young, then we may lose our passion when getting older and older. So we should have enough courage and determination to overcome all the difficulties in struggling on the road.I firmly believe one sentence that‘If you think you can, of cour se you can!’Just believe we can make it! Keep on walking towards our dream. Flying youth , master our future. From today, from now on , are you Ready ? That’s all. Thank you so much for your attention !大学生英语励志演讲稿4ladies and gentlemen , good afternoon! i’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. i hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.first i want to ask you some questions:1、do you know what is youth?2、how do you master your youth?youthyouth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . nobodygrows old merely by a number of years . we grow old by deserting our ideals.years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . in the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.thank you!大学生英语励志演讲稿5My definition of successToday I am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. What is success? It is what everyone is longing for.Sometimes success would be rather simple. Winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now I amstanding here giving my speech is somehow also success. However, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes verycomplicated. Is fortune success? Is fame success? Is high social sta tus success? No, I don’t think so. I believe success is the realization of people’s hopes and ideals.Nowadays, in the modern society thereare many peoplewho are regarded as the successful. And the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. So most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. But the problem is wether it is real success. We all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. If we keep chasing them, where is the end? What will satisfy us at last? Therefore, we can see, to get the real Success we must need something inside, which is the realization ofpeople’ hopes and ideals.Different people have different ideas about success; cause peo ple’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. But I am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. These are the best treasures. So now I am very proud that I have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. It is my success, cause I raise up to challenge my hope. What is success? Everyone has his own interpretation as I do. But I am sureevery success leads to an ever-brighter future. So ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make asuccessful life! Wish you all good success!。

大学生英语励志演讲4篇大学生英语励志演讲 (1) It's a great honor for me to stand here to deliver a speech to you. Then today I want to talk something about dreams and reality. As the famous Russian litterateur Lev Tolstoy said, “Ideal is thebeacon. Without ideal, there is no secure direction; without a direction, there is no life.” So there’s no doubt that everyone needs his or herown ideal. Have you ever thought that what is practical and sensible willconnect with our most treasured dreams? Maybe, to somebody, reality haslittle relation to ideal. To others nothing can be done without the senseof reality. So make our dreams a part of our reality. And make our realitya part of our dreams. There is no reason why our dreams must oppose ourreality. Improve our dreams and our reality by bringing them together. As a university student, establishing a dream is one of the mostimportant things we have to do .But everyone must see the reality clearlyat first. Your family condition, your personal ability, your socialintercourse, your subject and the job you want to do, these things showyou the reality and lead you to establish a dream.Further more, difficult or otherwise, we should put the power ofreality into our dreams. Last but not least remember to work hard at thetask of chasing our dreams. Do believe that we can achieve our ideal stepby step by the passage of time!In the end, I want to share with you a poetry named " I think I can"Maybe you can not understand the meaning of the poetry , But do notbe worried ,Let me tell you the meaningThank you for your listening!大学生英语励志演讲 (2) One of the most popular hobbies among people is reading books. The more books we read, the moreknowledge we get. No matter how much education we receive or how muchexpensive we have, we can not become a full man unless we keep reading.Reading bad books will lead you to a wrong way and prevents you fromprogressing. Thank you. One year ago, I introduced my father when he declared his candidacy. In his own way, and through his own sheer force of will, he sacrificed greatly to enter the political arena as an outsider. And he prevailed against afield of 16 very talented competitors. For more than a year, Donald Trump has been the people’s champion, and tonight he’s the people’s nominee.Like many of my fellow millenials, I do not consider myself categorically Republican or Democrat. More than party affiliation, I vote on based on what I believe is right, for my family and for my country. Sometimes it’s a tough choice. That is not the case this time. As the proud daughter of your nominee, I am here to tell you that this is the moment and Donald Trump is the person to make America great again.大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇7In fact… if you really want to know the truth:I had to come… exactly becau se I might make a fool of myself. What am I talking about?Well, here it is:I’ve found that nothing in life is worthwhile unless you take risks.Nothing.Nelson Mandela said:“There is no passion to be found playing small—in settling for a life that’s less than the one you’re capable of living.”I’m sure in your experiences—in school… in applying to college… in picking your major… in deciding what you want to do with life—people have told you to make sure you have something to “fall back on.”But I’ve neve r understood that concept, having something to fall back on.If I’m going to fall, I don’t want to fall back on anything, except my faith. I want to fall… forward. At least I figure that way I’ll see what I’m about to hit.Fall forward.大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇8I should know: In the acting business, you fail all the time.Early in my career, I auditioned for a part in a Broadway musical. A perfect role for me, I thought—except for the fact that I can’t sing.So I’m in the wings, about to go on stage but the guy in front of me is singing like Pavarotti and I am just shrinking getting smaller and smaller...So I come out with my little sheet music and it was “Just My Imagination” by the Temptations, that’s what I came up with.So I hand it to the accompanist, and she looks at it and looks at me and looks at the director, so I start to sing and they’re not saying anything. I think I must be getting better, so I start getting into it.But after the first verse, the director cuts me off: “Thank you. Thank you very much, you’ll be hearing from me.”The next part of the audition is the acting part. I figure, I can’t sing, but I know I can act.But the guy I was paired with to do the scene couldn’t be more overdramatic and over-the top.Suffice to say, I didn’t get the part. But here’s the thing: I didn’t quit. I didn’t fall back.I walked out of there to prepare for the next audition, and the next audition, and the next one. I prayed and I prayed, but I continued to fail, and I failed, and I failed. But it didn’t matter. Beca use you know what? You hang around a barbershop long enough—sooner or later you will get a haircut. You will catch a break.Last year I did a play called Fences on Broadway and I won a Tony Award. And I didn’t have to sing for it, by the way.And here’s th e kicker—it was at the Court Theater, the sametheater where I failed that first audition 30 years prior. The point is, every graduate here today has the training and the talent to succeed. But do you have guts to fail? Here’s my second point about failure:If you don’t fail… you’re not even trying. My wife told me this expression: “To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.”Les Brown, a motivational speaker, made an analogy about this.Imagine you’re on your deathbed—and standing around your bed are the ghosts representing your unfilled potential. The ghosts of the ideas you never acted on. The ghosts of the talents you didn’t use.And they’re standing around your bed. Angry. Disappointed. Upset.“We came to you because you could have brought us to life,” they say. “And now we go to the grave together.”So I ask you today: How many ghosts are going to be around your bed when your time comes? You invested a lot in your education. And people invested in you.And let me tell you, the world needs your talents.Man, does it ever.I just got back from four months of filming in South Africa—beautiful country, but there are places with terrible poverty that need help. And Africa is just the tip of the iceberg.大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇9Ivanka Trump Delivers Speech at Japan's World Assembly forWomenThank you very much Prime Minister Abe, for that kind introduction. And thank you for your gracious hospitality to my family. This is my first visit to Japan, and the warmth you have shown us, the beauty of your landscape, and the vibrancy of your culture are truly incredible gifts to all who come to this country. Yesterday evening, as I arrived in Tokyo, I was struck by the magnificence of the skyline – and this morning I was awed by the ancient beauty of the Imperial Palace. The wonders of this land are a testament to the creativity and resilience of the Japanese people. It is an honor to join you today at the World Assembly for Women. I am grateful to be with this exceptional and passionate group of leaders to discuss the economic empowerment of women, to celebrate the progress our societies have made, and to chart a bold course for the future. The economic empowerment of women has been a focus of mine for many years – ensuring that 50% of our population can fully participate in the workforce is critical to strengthening our communities and growing our prosperity. That is why after my father’s election, I decided to leave my businesses and work in government to advance policies and initiatives that empower women to fully participate in the economy, if they so choose. Policies that enable women to pursue their careers and care for their families, policies that focus on workforce development and skills training, and policies that fuel entrepreneurship so that Americans can turn their aspirations into their incredible legacy.大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇10Years later, I was on my second teaching round in a Melbourne high school, and I was about 20 minutes into a year 11 legal studies class when this boy put up his hand and said, "Hey miss, when are you going to start doing your speech?" And I said, "What speech?" You know, I'd been talking them about defamation law for a good 20 minutes. And he said, "You know, like, your motivational speaking. You know, when people in wheelchairs come to school, they usually say, like, inspirational stuff?" "It's usually in the big hall." And that's when it dawned on me: This kid had only ever experienced disabledpeople as objects of inspiration. We are not, to this kid -- and it's not his fault, I mean, that's true for many of us. For lots of us, disabled people are not our teachers or our doctors or our manicurists. We're not real people. We are there to inspire. And in fact, I am sitting on this stage looking like I do in this wheelchair, and you are probably kind of expecting me to inspire you. Right? (Laughter) Yeah.大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇11I encourage you to look up the scene on YouTube – but not right now –because it’s still a very funny piece. And it’s funny because it’s ridiculo us, but also because it contains a kernel of truth. And the truth applies not only to college presidents, but to all of us.How many times have we decided we’re against an idea before we’ve even heard it? How guilty are we of deciding “I’m against it” without even knowing what “it” is?Many times, we know what we’re against based on who is saying it. If an idea comes from a certain public figure, politician, or media outlet, we already know how we feel. Partly this is because our public discourse has become so predictable. We’velost the capacity for surprise, for revelation.Speaking of predictable, here is the moment where an ambassador of an older generation – that would be me – tells millennials – most of you – about the evils of social media! But hear m e out…Obviously, social media has transformed our lives and our relationships. It obviously has many advantages, allowing us to share news and information quickly with people around the world. But it also heightens our sense of outrage and speeds up arguments, depriving us of the time and space for careful reflection.Bombarded with notifications, pressured to respond before the media cycle turns over, we tap out our position –our opposition –in seconds. It’s easy to be against something in fewer than 280 characters. It’s far more difficult to articulate what you are for – and to do it at warp speed.大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇12my name is richard daphne. i have over 30 years in different sizebusinesses, with many ups and downs. my question is for ivanka.what do you feel has been your biggest challenge, most exciting success? mrs.as an entrepreneur you try to balance yourown time, energy, focus, especially when you think big. you sometimes have to slow yourself down. so, to not -- to impose thediscipline on yourself to enable you to achieve the growth youwant, especially in the early days, you have limited people. you arejust launching a product or a service. you hopefully feel thatearly momentum. when you are an entrepreneur you have to be a visionary. we also have to be an secured her. successfulentrepreneurs are both. they dream big. they think big. they also are highly pragmatic, able toexecute at the task at hand.sometimes there is an imbalance. i think for anyone to besuccessful, they have to reconcile those things. ultimately we were talking about it, in terms of recruitment, you are as good as your people. investing in your teams, your employees, making sureyou have cultivated a group that complements you, that pushesyou , that will enable you to succeed. for me, success that is scaled and done tremendously well is because they have a great team and great people.thank you for doing this work today. we are a marketing publicengagement firm. we are a serviced a bold veteran small business. we have been based in northern virginia for many years. virginia is the number one state for veteran owned businesses. our right to pursue the american dream is something i hold dear to my heart.i'm curious, i'm sure you have had the opportunity to meet greatentrepreneurs. is there one story that is the most inspirational story?it is been incredible to hear so many stories.during the two years prior campaigning, traveling around the country. one of the unique things about this experience, my father was running for president. people would come up to youwherever you were and tell you their stories. with suchtremendous detail, and tell you of their hardest challenges, and share with you things in a way they neither -- never would have.they would never open themselves up to you in the same way theydo during the process of a campaign. now today, being part of this administration. i feel blessed for the candor in which people share their ideas and personal stories. linda and i were together in baltimore just days after the inauguration. we did a roundtable with small business owners, predominantly female, hosted by the national urban league. one of those women who actually i brought her to thewhite house a few months later is named lisa phillips. she had a small's ness. she told me her storyand i think -- we were all crying. it was so amazing. she started out homeless. she is now engaged. this spring she got her mastersdegree. she has a small but thriving small business and party planning. she is volunteering with homeless youth in baltimore. so this is -- these types of stories forever change you. it is unbelievable to hear the purser variants, the grant, the energy. i know she is going to make an enormous impact not just in her business but her community. we talk about small business, how it is going to grow our economy and benefit american workers, butthe amount of philanthropy being done on the local level by small business is a norm is enormous. i'm sure each of you can share your own stories just about how you are able to give act and you do in such a tremendous way. lisa story was moving to me.大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇13i started my journey in california with a uc berkley 30-yearlongitudinal study that examined the photos of students in an old yearbook and tried to measure their success and well-being throughout their life. by measuring their student smiles, researchers were able to predict how fulfilling and long-lasting a subjects marriage will be, how well she would score on standardized tests of well-being and how inspiring she would be to others. in another yearbook, i stumbledupon barry obamas picture. when i first saw his picture, i thought that these superpowers came from his super collar. but now i know it was all in his smile. nother aha! moment came from a 20xx wayne state university research project that looked into pre-1950s baseball cards of major league players. the researchers found that the span of a players smile could actually predict the span ofhis life. players who didnt smile in their pictures lived an average of only years, where players with beaming smiles lived an average of almost 80 years.大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇14then others will look to you, not with pity but with HOPE, because your strength will become their HOPE, their strength. You really can be that powerful. You can ditch the victim story, you can leave the pain behind and FOCUS on how you will react next. How you will react positively.Read. Read all you can read to get your mind in a positive place.Take steps to ensure you will be in a better position next time – whatever pain you are suffering –how can you ensure it won’t show again –Take little steps… and soon you will be at the top of the stair case.Don’t give upYou are worthyYou are more than worthy! You deserve to experience how great life can be – and you owe it to the world to be that positive change for others. T o inspire others – who will look to you and say – he did it, she did it, and I can do it too.Don't give up. You are worthy. You are MORE than worthy! 大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇15And I use the term porn deliberately, because they objectify one group of people for the benefit of another group of people. So in this case, we're objectifying disabled people for the benefit of nondisabled people. The purpose of these images is to inspire you, to motivate you, so that we can look at them and think, "Well, however bad my life is, it could be worse. I could be that person."But what if you are that person? I've lost count of the number of times that I've been approached by strangers wanting to tell me that they think I'm brave or inspirational, and this was long before my work had any kind of public profile. They were just kind of congratulating me for managing to get up in the morning and remember my own name. (Laughter) And it is objectifying. These images, those images objectify disabled people for the benefit of nondisabled people. They are there so that you can look at them and think that things aren't so bad for you, to put your worries into perspective.大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇16Looking around me today, I think of the generations of Yale graduates who have come before you. Individuals who have been for something. There are many names we know and others that would be less familiar – presidents and world leaders, artists and business executives, scholars and scientists.Like them, I know you will heed the call to leadership and service and leave your mark on every realm of human endeavor. That is Yale’s mission – that is what Yale is for.As members of the Yale community, what do we believe? We believe that facts and expertise, applied with creativity and wisdom, can transform the world. We believe that education and research save lives and make life more meaningful. We believe that diversity of thought and diversity indeed are essential to human progress. We believe, most of all, in the boundless potential of human ingenuity; that together, we can solve great challenges and bringlight and truth to a world in great need of it.大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇17I was convinced that the only thing I wanted to do, ever, was to write novels. However, my parents, both of whom came from impoverished backgrounds and neither of whom had been to college, took the view that my overactive imagination was an amusing personal quirk that would never pay a mortgage, or secure a pension. I know that the irony strikes with the force of a cartoon anvil, now.So they hoped that I would take a vocational degree; I wanted to study English Literature. A compromise was reached that in retrospect satisfied nobody, and I went up to study Modern Languages. Hardly had my parents’ car rounded the corner at the end of the road than I ditched German and scuttled off down the Classics corridor.I cannot remember telling my parents that I was studying Classics; they might well have found out for the first time on graduation day. Of all the subjects on this planet, I think they would have been hard put to name one less useful than Greek mythology when it came to securing the keys to an executive bathroom.I would like to make it clear, in parenthesis, that I do not blame my parents for their point of view. There is an expiry date on blaming your parents for steering you in the wrong direction; the moment you are old enough to take the wheel, responsibility lies with you. What is more, I cannot criticise my parents for hoping that I would never experience poverty. They had been poor themselves, and I have since been poor, and I quite agree with them that it is not an ennobling experience. Poverty entails fear, and stress, and sometimes depression; it means a thousandpetty humiliations and hardships. Climbing out of poverty by your own efforts, that is indeed something on which to pride yourself, but poverty itself is romanticised only by fools.大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇18Real change, the kind we have not seen in decades is only going to come from outside the system. And it’s only going to come from a man who’s spent his entire life doing whatothers said could not be done. My father is a fighter. When the primaries got tough and they were tough, he did what any great leader does. He dug deeper, worked harder, got better and became stronger.I have seen him fight for his family. I have seen him fight for his employees. I have seen him fight for his company. And now, I am seeing him fight for our country. It’s been the story of his life and mor e recently the spirit of his campaign. It’s also a prelude to reaching the goal that unites us all. When this party and better still this country knows what it is like to win again. If it’s possible to be famous and yet not really well done, that describes the father who raised me. In the same office in Trump Tower, where we now work together, I remember playing on the floor by my father’s desk, constructing miniature buildings with Legos and Erector sets, while he did the same with concrete steel and glass.大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇19Hello everybody! My name is , years old this year. I wanted, if not to positive, as long as the school needs, that is, when the life I willingly substitute teachers. I think these are an educator should have the minimum literacy. If, I passed the interview, Chengweizhongduo Teacher Groups in 成员I shall keep Nuli study and work hard, my hometown of Jiao Yu force ourselves to the cause, never let down, "the human soul," a major title.Thank you大学励志英语演讲稿范文篇20Our societies are at a critical juncture – a moment of both great challenge and opportunity.Over the last half century, women have entered every imaginable field, reached the highest levels of management, and now are leading some of the largest companies in the world. We have discovered life-saving medical cures, traveled to space, and created transformative technologies. The women here today represent this historic achievement – and shine the light towards an even brighter future. Here in Japan, 4 decades ago, 45 percent of women worked outside the home. Today, 66 percent of working-age women are in the workforce – a significant improvement, and one I know will only continue to grow in great measure due to Prime Minister Abe’s vision for Japan. At the very heart of this vision is womenomics.Womenomics recognizes the centrality of women, who represent roughly half of our global population, in achieving true economic growth. Women who are empowered to work, to thrive, and to lead bring immense creativity, fresh perspective, and success to our economy – and to the world. When women work, it creates a unique multiplier effect. Women are more likely than men to hire other women, to give。

大学英语励志演讲稿篇1We all want to believe that we are capable of great feats , of reaching our fullest potential .We need dreams . They give us a vision of a better future .They nourish our spirit ,they represent possibility even then we are dragged down by reality .They keep us going . Most successful people are dreamers .Dreamers are not content with merely mediocre ,because no one ever dreams of going half way .When I was a little girl , I didn’t dream of a life of stryggle and frustration .I dreamed of doing something big and splashy ,something significant .I dreamed big .But now , I become realistic . I have a dream that I can have my own firm one day .Because I major in economic , I can use my special knowledge to run the company .When I have a lot of money , I will donate some of them to help others .My dreams are worthless , my plans are dust , my goals are impossible .All are of no value unless they are followed by action .Action is the food and drink which will nourish my success .If I don’t take any actions to realize my dream , it will become a fantasy .When I was little , I dreamed big .It’s a pity for me that I didn’t do anything to approach it .I always think that when I grow up , I can take some actions .But when I grow up truly , I forget my dream and my ambition .So I will not avoid the tasks of today and charge them to tomorrow .For I know that tomorrow never comes .Let me act now eventhough my actions may not bring success for it is better to act and fail than not be act and flounder .Success will not wait .If I delay , she will become betrothed another and lost ti me forever .I will take every effort to accomplish my dream .i won’t let it become a fantasy , it is just my dream .maybe some years later , it will become true .大学英语励志演讲稿篇2ladies and gentlemen , good afternoon! i’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. i hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.first i want to ask you some questions:1、do you know what is youth?2、how do you master your youth?youthyouth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years . we grow old by deserting our ideals.years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . in the center of your heartand my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.thank you!大学英语励志演讲稿篇3Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d like to share it with all of you. Let’s show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. I have a short line of life. What about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, let’s make a fist. Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell me.Yeah, it is in our hands. It is held inourselves. We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. Fa ilure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder. As what I said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a bo ok, whose pages are infinite”. The past has gone. Nothing we do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. And from today on, let’s be the owners of ourselves, and speak out “We are the world, we are the future.”看完“大学英语励志演讲稿3篇”的人还看:1.大学英语励志演讲范文2.大学英语课前三分钟演讲稿3.梦想英文励志演讲稿6篇4.3分钟英语励志演讲稿3篇5.大学生励志英语演讲稿。

大学生英文励志演讲稿5篇
大学生英文励志演讲稿5篇大学生英文励志演讲稿一Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. The issue of the Yellow River has become the biggest concern of members of the Chinese peoples Political Consultative Conference. My childhood, in fact, is closely associated with the river. My father is an engineering geologist, and he used to take me with him on his trips to the hydropower stations on the river. I enjoyed those trips, especially the trip to Longyang Xia reservoir. Although ten years have passed since my visit, I can still recall the scenery; I can still recall the water I saw at the reservoir. It was pure, clean and blue, not like the water I saw in the middle reaches of the river, which had turned brown and muddy after passing through the Loess Plateau.Once during our stay at the power station, we were caught in a thunderstorm. And when rain stopped, I could see trickles of water rolling down mountain slopes and flowing into the reservoir. It carried little mud or sand, because at that time, trees and grass still grew around the reservoir. And they protected the soil. At Longyang Xia I was struck by the beauty of nature, and as a child I wanted to stay there and to grow up with our Yellow River.Li Bai, the Tang Dynasty poet, said praises to the flowing water in the Yellow River. He saw it as coming down from heaven and nurturing the people along her way to the sea. However, in 1997,for 330days, not a single drop of water from the Yellow River went into the sea. And droughts are not the only punishment by nature. A friend of my father's, a university professor, is doing research on the Yellow River. According to this professor, theYellow River will soon change its course if we allow this situation to continue. Because there is no longer enough water to carry away the silt and mud in the lower reaches of the river and the riverbed rises higher and higher each year.We have taken too much from nature, but given back too little in return. And this is the cost of the unbalanced growth. If we had taken care of the vegetation in the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River, we would still experience the river as Li Bai described it.While the developed countries are consuming proportionally more natural resources than the rest of the world, they've also taken some good measures in protecting nature. And as a developing country, China can learn from them in this aspect.Last year, when I was visiting Australia with a group of Chinese students who had won prizes in an English Skills Test, our Australian hosts invited us to join them for a horse-ride in the mountains. After two hours on horseback, we reached a valley, where there was a most beautiful meadow, with flowers in all colors dotted on a huge blanket of green. When I began to praise the beauty of nature, my friends told me that in this valley, there used to be a big mine and the wastewater from the mine turned everything brown. When the mine was abandoned, people made great efforts to restore the green vegetation. They also used the latest biological technology choosing the best grass seeds suitable for the local soil. So the beautiful meadow is a result of commitment, hard work, and new technology. What happened to this valley in Australia should also happen to our Yellow River and, in fact, it is happening. I have seen farmers planting trees on mountains along the Yellow River. I have seen them climb the mountain tops with seedlings on theirshoulders because they had no machinery. I have seen them pour on trees the water they had carried up in buckets from miles down the valley. These farmers are quietly nourishing our Yellow River, just as the river has nourished them. And these farmers, men and women I don't know, gave me the confidence that we and our Yellow River will grow together, and someday in the future, we will be able to drink the clean water from our Yellow River again, because she is our dearest mother.Thank you大学生英文励志演讲稿二Today's speech I want to talk to my classmates about a few stories, these stories are in our side, but we have never noticed, thinking. One night last semester, go alone to five teaching self - study. Fatigue to his eyes faint, faint yellow light trance to see a little boy shuttle between tables and chairs, those hands links to pick up the garbage in the table bucket. Looking back, his mother is holding a large woven bag, came and took the garbage. Mother and son of the shadow under the irradiation of a group of lights appear very long, repeated, fade out of the classroom. I just looked at, what seems to be thinking, so for a long time.A small thing in life study, let me look at yourself again. His little bad habits, bring others? Shouldn't we be good young people who love school and life? How can we indulge in the erosion of negative energy on us? I have asked a few students, how don't you remember to take away the garbage generated by self-study in class? Most students are vacant answer, not someone to accept? Some of our own little habits, little laziness. Slowly becomeentrenched negative energy, we didn't even notice, slowly accustomed to. Our youth, we are young, but ignorance is not synonymous with youth and youth.Classmate, don't know if you have ever met this kind of situation, one night, you are going to carry a bag to the library to study, is shouting to let the dormitory of several other elder brothers go with you, at that time, a classmate said: " oh, boy, the sun came out to the west, you should go to the library, don't pack! " you hesitated, thinking about next week's exam, or thinking about to go to the library self-study make-up class, so, you are going to go, then another voice rang:" hurry up to open the computer, hero league open a black shop sent a person ah, how can you do without! " at this time, you silently put down the bag, opened the computer, just study the idea of abrupt was left behind ...The word " positive energy" students are familiar with, its n etwork meaning refers to all give people up, give people hope and pursuit, make people action motivation and feelings. As a contemporary college student, I think we should be a positive energy person, at the same time, also should make friends with positive energy, in each other's communication, let positive energy together into a larger upward force, so that college life more positive. " true, good, beautiful" has always been as a synonym for positive energy, specific to college life, positive energy also covers a lot of meaning: for example, pay attention to social welfare undertakings, to participate in social practice, let love transfer, so that their lives are sublimated; In the face of setbacks and life is not the best, to be able to persevere, with a positive attitude to face; In the study, be able to persevere, hard work, perseverance; Be a responsible person, able to understandtheir responsibilities, parents' expectations and social expectations. My classmates, my story is not over yet. After that night, I often talked to my classmates about the experience, everyone also have feelings. Gradually, I found that after class we didn't leave the classroom in such a hurry, but scanned the table bucket, conveniently take their garbage. I feel a positive energy in the spread, everyone has a sunshine and beautiful heart. In the dormitory, inner remorse let me I can no longer continue to play games like this, I flatly cutting away. One day, two days, I also saw them in the study room, we smiled at each other. The original transfer of positive energy is not difficult. Young people always have all kinds of ideas, the oath of youth will always be on the lips. No matter where can reflect the vitality of our young people, and the university is a place where young people gathered most. There will be more things, and the inside of the idea will be more rich.大学生英文励志演讲稿三We, leaving ignorance ushered in our youth. Youth, let us unbridled, relaxed, appreciate the wind that freedom, feel the cloud that comfortable, because youth gives us the peak of life, we do not need to mature, we are no longer ignorant, we only persistent. Positive energy in youth. Strong energy helps me to support a firm belief, so that I am full of confidence in a challenging tomorrow.Life is the pursuit of ideal, ideal is the indicator of life, lost the role of the lamp, will lose the courage of life. Therefore, only by adhering to the lofty ideals of life, will not be lost in the sea of life. Tolstoy will be the ideal of life is divided into a lifetime of ideal, the ideal of a stage, the ideal of a year, the ideal of a month, even the ideal of a day, an hour, a minute. When you hear this, students, do you think of your ideal?Whose youth is not sad? Whose youth never want to give up? Who's youth without setbacks and difficulties? But, I no longer fear, I know there will be a kind of positive energy in my side, like hot sunshine warm my heart, take me to a better tomorrow. And I, will also become the positive energy of others, do my best to encourage and warm like I once helpless people. The flower season of life is the spring of life, it is beautiful, but short. As a college student should be in this period, study hard, work hard, find a piece of their own sky. Youth is the hope of the motherland, the future of the nation. Everyone governs his own tomorrow. One philosopher said, " the dream has gone many ways, wake up or in bed. " it vividly tells us a truth: people can't lie in the dream of ideal life. Yes, people not only want to have an ideal, but also bold fantasy, but also want to work hard to do, lying in the ideal waiting for a new start, if not only in the distant future, even have will lose. Students, are you also wandering in the dream of ideal?Predecessors said well, " aspiring people set long ambition, no ambition people often aspire to", those who have no ambition " ambition", is a dream, is the so-called " ideal", they put their blueprint structure painted again beautiful, perfect, also is just a castle in the air, mirage. Students, are you a man of long ambition, or often determined? In the green years, whenever I am sad and confused, wandering helpless, there are always some people or things to encourage me, sending out a positive light warm me.Be a person with positive energy, let oneself have the power to move forward. Positive energy is a powerful energy, it is bound to include a positive driving force, only in this way can make yourstudies, career, quality of life, etc. progress. No power is a terrible thing, just like a car without gasoline, rockets without fuel, plants no longer absorb sunlight, you will only chaos to every day, do the same thing, to this point naturally do what to do, there is no big goal and ideal. Isn't this terrible enough? Are you willing to silence like a pool of stagnant water standing still, also don't want to more power to meet the daily sun add energy? Of course not. when you have positive energy, you will naturally take your steps and be motivated to move to a new starting point.Youth needs positive energy, positive energy will insert wings for us to fly to the vast blue sky! Finally, I want to use Liang Qichao's words to end today's speech: " young wisdom is the wisdom of the country, the rich is the rich, young strong is strong, young progress is the progress of the country, young male in the earth, the male in the earth. " let's sprinkle sweat all the way, drink all the way dusty, chew a hard, let youth continue to burn under the red flag; May every young man embrace his ideals and March on the voyage of life.大学生英文励志演讲稿四It's a great honor for me to stand here to deliver a speech to you. Then today I want to talk something about dreams and reality. As the famous Russian litterateur Lev Tolstoy said,“Ideal is the beacon. Without ideal, there is no secure direction; without a direction, there is no life.” So there’s no doubt that everyone needs his or her own ideal. Have you ever thought that what is practical and sensible will connect with our most treasured dreams? Maybe,to somebody, reality has little relation to ideal. To others nothing can be done without the sense of reality. So make our dreams a part of our reality. And make ourreality a part of our dreams. There is no reason why our dreams must oppose our reality. Improve our dreams and our reality by bringing them together. As a university student, establishing a dream is one of the most important things we have to do everyone must see the reality clearly at first. Your family condition, your personal ability, your social intercourse, your subject and the job you want to do, these things show you the reality and lead you to establish a dream.Further more, difficult or otherwise,we should put the power of reality into our dreams. Last but not least remember to work hard at the task of chasing our dreams. Do believe that we can achieve our ideal step by step by the passage of time!In the end, I want to share with you a poetry named " I think I can"Maybe you can not understand the meaning of the poetry ,But do not be worried ,Let me tell you the meaningThank you for your listening!大学生英文励志演讲稿五One of the most popular hobbies among people is reading books. More and more people spend their spare time in reading the books they are interested in.There are so many books in the world that it is impossible for any one to read all of them, even if he spends his whole life in reading. Before we start reading, we should find out whether it is valuable for us to read.Reading good books is one of the greatest pleasures in life. It can enrich our knowledge. It makes us learn lots of things we did not previously know. We can be aware of what had happened in the past as well as what is happening in the present time. Themore books we read, the more knowledge we get. No matter how much education we receive or how much expensive we have,we can not become a full man unless we keep reading.Reading bad books will lead you to a wrong way and prevents you from progressing. It’s worse than reading nothing. So we know how important it is to read good books.book can be read at random time if you have leisure, and there never be a time limitation. Also, you can read a book to achieve a more really history. Through a book, you can communicate with its author without other’s transmission. All these rarely can be easily achieved by a television.Furthermore, book is a treasure that has developed centuries. As we know when written language appeared, human beings became use it to record their lives, and this action leaves us a lot of historic precious mineral. We can absorb intelligence and wisdom, and we can also be taught lessons. I love book from my heart, form book I know how to communicate with others, and I learn my homeland is the place I love best, and also I know my parents are the very individuals who I love through my life. What about the television? Television, sometimes, show violence, sex, drugs beyond our choice.。

大学生励志英文演讲稿5篇Speech 1: Dare to DreamDear fellow students,It gives me great pleasure to address all of you today on the topicof Dare to Dream. We all have dreams and aspirations. But the sad truth is that most of us give up on them too easily. We are afraid to take risks, afraid of failure, afraid of what others might think of us.But as college students, you are at the cusp of a new journey – a journey of self-exploration, self-discovery, and self-actualization. This is the time to dare to dream, to take risks, and to believe in yourself. We all have a purpose in life, and it’s different for each one of us. The question is, are we willing to take the first step towards achieving it? Are we willing to put in the hard work, the dedication, and the perseverance required to make our dreams a reality? Henry David Thoreau once said, “Go confidently in the directionof your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined.”So, let us all dare to dream, and let us have the courage to take action to make those dreams a reality. Let us believe in ourselves, our abilities, and our potential for greatness.I urge all of you to seize this moment, to set your sights high, andto never give up on your dreams. Because with hard work, dedication, and the right attitude, anything is possible.Thank you.Speech 2: Never Stop LearningDear fellow students,It is an honor for me to speak to you today on the topic of Never Stop Learning. As college students, we are all here to pursue knowledge. But what happens after we graduate? Are we going to stop learning? Or are we going to continue to challenge ourselves and grow as individuals? The truth is, success is not just about achieving our academic goals. It’s about being a lifelong learner. It’s about having an insatiable hunger for knowledge and a thirst for new experiences.Learning doesn’t stop when we graduate. It is a continuous journey, and one that we should embrace. We need to be proactive in seeking out new opportunities to learn and grow. We need to be curious, open-minded, and willing to take risks.Whether it’s taking up a new hobby, learning a new language, or pursuing a higher degree, we need to keep expanding our horizons and pushing the boundaries of our comfort zones.Albert Einstein once said, “Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death.”So, let us all commit ourselves to never stop learning. Let us continue to challenge ourselves, to seek out new knowledge and experiences, and to grow as individuals.Because when we stop learning, we stop living.Thank you.Speech 3: The Power of ResilienceDear fellow students,It is my pleasure to speak to you today on the topic of The Power of Resilience.Life is full of challenges. We all face obstacles and setbacks at some point in our l ives. It’s how we respond to those challenges that defines us.Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity, to persevere in the face of difficulties, and to come out stronger on the other side.As college students, we are at a critical juncture in our lives. We are beginning to forge our own paths in the world, and we will undoubtedly face our fair share of challenges along the way.But it’s important to remember that failure is not a setback, it’s an opportunity to learn and grow. We need to embrace failure as a necessary part of the learning process, and not let it defeat us.The road to success is never easy, but it’s always worth it. We need to develop a resilient mindset, one that sees obstacles as opportunities, and setbacks as a chance to learn and improve. As Winston Churchill once said, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”So, let us all embrace the power of resilience. Let us not be afraid to fail, but let us be determined to get back up and keep going.Because when we are resilient, nothing can stop us from achieving our goals.Thank you.Speech 4: The Importance of Giving BackDear fellow students,I feel privileged to speak to you today about The Importance of Giving Back.As college students, we have been given so much – an education, opportunities for personal growth and development, and access to a wealth of resources and knowledge. But we can’t take these things for granted. We owe it to ourselves and our community to use what we have been given to make a positive difference in the world.Giving back can take many forms, whether it’s volunteering our time, donating to charity, or simply spreading kindness and compassion wherever we go.When we give back, we not only make a difference in the lives of others, but we also become better people ourselves. We develop empathy, compassion, and a sense of purpose that brings meaning to our lives. As Mahatma Gandhi once said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself i n the service of others.”So, let us all make a commitment to giving back. Let us use our education and resources to make a positive impact in the world, and to become the change we wish to see.Thank you.Speech 5: Embracing DiversityDear fellow students,I am honored to speak to you today on the topic of Embracing Diversity. As college students, we come from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. We are all unique, and our differences are what make us stronger as a community. But unfortunately, diversity is often seen as a source of conflict and division, rather than a source of strength. We need to shift our mindset from one of intolerance and prejudice to one of open-mindedness and inclusion. We need to recognize and celebrate the differences that make us who we are, and learn from each other’s perspectives. When we embrace diversity, we create a community that is stronger, richer, and more vibrant. We learn to appreciate and respect each other’s differences, and we create a culture o f acceptance and inclusivity. As Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “I have a dream that one day… little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.”So, let us all commit ourselves to embracing diversity. Let us learn from each other’s differences, and create a community that is inclusive, accepting, and united.Thank you.。

那么大学生如何英语演讲励志的故事呢?下面是小编整理的大学生经典励志英语演讲稿,欢迎大家参考借鉴!大学英语励志演讲稿范文(一)ladies and gentlemen , good afternoon! i m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is youth . i hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it. first i want to ask you some questions:1、do you know what is youth?2、how do you master your youth?youthyouth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years . we grow old by deserting our ideals.years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . worry , fear , self distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what s next and the joy of the game of living . in the center of your heart and my heart there s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young . when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows ofcynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.thank you!大学英语励志演讲稿范文(二)good evening , ladies and gentlemen . i am joy and glad to give you a speech about stress , yes , just the topic you see on the screen.psychologist tell us that stress is a state of worry caused by the problem of living , such as too much work or study , heavy responsibilities , and quickened pace of life .statistics show that stress comes from every detail in our life . financial problems , poor health , being laid off may be the stress that most adults now suffering . as students in the university , we are also under our special stress . while study , having to take various tests and submit a project against a deadline may put a great pressure on us . and the things make us felt stressed may be our parents s greater expectations on us than we could reach . later , when we are likely to graduate , some other problems will also annoy us . i think we will worry a lot about our ability to compete in the job market and how we can best use what we ve learned at college in our future job .the chief problem we should face to is our atitude towards stress .people usually say they can not live in the sun except they escape from stress . it s unwelcome ! yes , however , very necessary . just image a world where stress does not exist and people lead their life in a very comfortable way . but is this kind of living condition as perfect as we hope ? without stress , they may feel very satisfied with the current life but lack of power to discover new things . too much result in nothing except a countermarch of the society . no stress , no development . so a certain amount of stress is good . it can stimulate us and increase our level ofalertness .and our answer to stress is another vital problem . how to do with ourselves when stress suddenly break into our life ? to wave the white flag and admit our unability , to give up to our ideality , or worstly , just to suicide as to put an end to everything of cause not . the principle is to tackle with stress gentlely and harmoniously. we should try our best to release ourselves . such as to do some exercise , to linsen to traditional chinese music or classical music to ease our minds and to learn to view these changes of life as challenges .it s no use crying over spilt milk . only to accept what has happened can solve the problem .ok , i think i was under large stress 3 minutes before , but now i am here and have finished my speech . here is the last thing i want to add to my topic ,face to it and overcome it ,stress is also a piece of cake 大学英语励志演讲稿范文(三)Whether there s afterlife, the answer has never been the same. The atheists deny after life, believing that our life is no more than from the cradle to the grave. They may care about their illustrious names after death; they may feel attached to the affection of their offspring, but they never lay their hopes on their afterlife. They may also say that good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil, but they don t really believe any retribution in their after life. However, in the religious world or among the superstitious people, the belief in afterlife is very popular. They do not only believe in afterlife, but thousands of reincarnations as well. In the mysterious world, there are the paradise and the hell, the celestial beings and the gods, the Buddha and the Bodhisattvas.Maybe they really believed it, or maybe they just wanted to make use of people s veneration, the ancient emperors always declared that they were the real dragons, the sons of God, while the royal ministers claimed tobe the reincarnations of various constellations. But can the stars reincarnate? Many people burn incense and kowtow, do good deeds and strive for virtues, not just for the present, but mainly to let God see their sincerity so as to be reborn into a better afterlife, or to achieve the highest enlightenment after several lives of practice. They do believe in afterlife. But I can t help asking: Suppose there were no afterlife, would you still do good deeds and strive for virtues? And If God does not see what you are doing, would you still be so upright and selfless? If you work, not for serving the public and liberating the others, but just for a better afterlife of your own, isn t it a little too selfish? Comparing with this kind of believers, those who don t believe in afterlife, but still keep doing good deeds, are the most sincere and honest philanthropists, because they do them not for themselves but for other. You may wonder if I believe in afterlife. My answer is: I know nothing about my previous life, so I dare not make improper comments on afterlife. But I do hope there s afterlife! Because our present life is so short that so many things slip away before our proper understanding. I have so many dreams, so many wishes, so many ambitions, as well as so many regrets and concerns. If there were no afterlife, all of them will remain unrealized!I m not contented with the present commonplace life, I m very much attached to the affections that should have been mine but have been washed away by the hurrying time, and I yearn for the perfection and maturity if I could start all over again. So believe it or not, I d rather there were afterlife.下页更多大学生励志英语演讲稿范文共2页: 上一页12下一页。

I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have a dream that supports my life.I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. Simple and short enjoyment can bring me great satisfaction.I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic and cartoon away. They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happiness with us while watching cartoon or doing personal things. That’s the real communication of heart to heart.I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forward to some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast sky.励志英语演讲稿篇5Compared with the forty year old shabby dormitory I am living in now, theone I lived in for three years in high school was heaven: three students sharedone brand new suite with air conditioners and a bathroom. In three years time we changed it thoroughly:the color of the floor turnedfrom bright pink into muddy gray, and the closet a hive of insects proliferatingamong piles of rotten fruit. And our masterpiece was the bathroom, a never dryingswamp which served as the habitat of various kinds of mold, and even rodents, rats would occasionally take the trouble to pay us a visit, and.., all three ofus felt like sobbing when we at last had to say good bye to our lovely filthydormitory. Maybe it is because that the dormitory had changed us as well as wedchanged it.The first lesson our dormitory taught us was to look after ourselves.Frankly speaking, we were not good students at all. I still remember theunderwear that was soaked in soapy water for one and a half years before it wasfinally thrown away. Almost each of the boys dormitories had graduallydeveloped its own unique "fragrance" usually a mixture of rotten fruit, unwashedsocks, stunk towels and some junk food. We could tell one dormitory from anotherby sniffing instead of looking. Our tolerance towards untidiness wasamazing. However, in spite of all this, we really did make some progress. Bit bybit, we started to wash dirty clothes before they stunk, cleaned the garbage binwhen it could hold no more trash, we even used brushes in a not-sc-successfulattempt to refurbish the floor. The point was that we were not obeying anyorder, we did every bit of the cleaning for ourselves, because we wanted to livein a better place. Though nothing we did could be called anachievement, it wasthe first time we fully bore the consequences of our behavior, and took theresponsibility. Thus it was not surprising that I often found myself the only one to cleanup my university dormitory which looked no better than a garbage bin when myroommates felt normal of it.When talking about our dormitory life, and probably all the dormitory life,we should never leave out one thing. This was what we called "bed talks". Thoughit was considered "illegal,"there was nothing to stop us from deliberatelystarting a heated discussion right after lights were out. It was our favoriteand the only way of ending our day, and we were as punctual for it as ourparents are for work. What was the most common topic?Girls, of course! Whatother topics were there for three energetic adolescent males lying comfortablyin bed? We judged them, ranked them, argued over them night after night withoutfeeling the slightest sense of boredom for three whole years. Were we maniacs? Who is not a maniac at eighteen?励志英语演讲稿篇6Nick, a 25-year-old Australian, was born without limbs. He used to be madefun of for looking like a monster. Everything seemed impossible to him. Unluckily, she was injured twice, though she still wanted to finish thegame, her body situation did not allow her to do so. Her insistence moved somany audience, they gave her the biggest applause. The power of insistence is great, it will help you set free your potentialand keep move on. Just for the players, they will face all kinds of incidencesnow and then, but the will to insist will make them finish the game. Sometimes, people win the game not because of their excellent skills, but their strongwill. Those who can stick on to the final line will win people’s a pplause. What’s more, when people insist to finish the game, it is the respect thatthey show to their opponents. Their spirit deserves people’s applause.Insistence is a merit, we should keep it, no matter what we do, we must rememberto insist.励志英语演讲稿篇8The first time in life? Then grasp your chance with your perfectperformance on the dating night, by learning the following principle inheart.Dress properly. While everyone wants to give an impressive debut on thefirst date, you should avoid wearing something too bizarre to be accepted. Ifyou are still in school, a sportswear can fulfill your purpose. For businessmanor grownups, casual clothes are recommended. Never put up your workinguniforms,no matter how well you like that Armani suit. It is no work. A fewaccessories such as a pair of sunglasses or silver loops on the wrist can add upto the romance sphere.Take a bath before dating. And if you like, spray a little perfume, butunless youre sure that he or she likes the smell, dont use ones that are toostrong.Watch your manner. Youre no prince of the Scotland nor Cinderella in thelegend. Proper manners will ensure a lasting relationship while bad ones scareaway your sweetheart. And do make sure you do not boast about your fortune, for,not everyone are green addicts. And your way of smiling, or your greatestoath, should neither be "coy" nor "by St. Loy!" after the nun in Chaucer.Be a little sensitive than merely innocent. Do make sure you do not intrudehis or her privacy on the first date. For there maybe something deeply concealedwithin the inner core of every heart, of which the owner doesnt share oftenwith anyone but his intimacy. Finally, wish you good luck. May you get your hearts combined and start anew journey in the miracle of life and love. Stay tuned till a borderline isreached, and keep on through out the whole way.励志英语演讲稿篇9Disabled people are normal people, except that they can not see as much aswe can, or they can not walk as fast as we can. Since they can not see as much,or they can not walk as fast, they need our help.We can immediately do a long list of ways in which we can help them, forinstance, Each student finds some one to help, in the neighborhood or thecommunity. You can help them to cross the road. You can help pushing their wheelchairs. l Set up kind of organization. Collect some money. Use this money tohelp them, to buy them daily necessities, to help their children finishschool. As they are disabled, it is more difficult for them to earn as much as normalpeople do. That’s why they us ually need help in physical things. As they aredisabled, they feel lonely. They think they are not as good as normal people. They easily become lonely, sad, disappointed. They easily lose hope of life. They need help more in spiritual things. They need people to chat with. Theyneed people to encourage them to continue their lives. They need people to getrid of prejudices over them. Now, I would suggest, do whatever we can to helpthem. We can donate our pocket money. We can walk up to help the disabled tocross the street. We can make friends with the disabled by visiting them, bycalling them, by emailing them, by whatever means. However, don’t always thinkwe are better than the disabled. As normal people, we always make normalmistakes. We take it for granted that we can see things while the blind can not. Ifyou know the story about Helen Keller, you will understand why you are wrong. The blind can not see with their bare eyes, but they can see better with theirears. They can see better with their hands. So, help the disabled while youtreat them like normal people. And they are normal people!励志英语演讲稿篇10Good morning/afternoon!First thing first, I gotta say, wow,it's funny thing to be given a chance like that.Trurh be told,I really got a little bit nervous before I stand right here ,so called 'stage fright'.If you look specifically on me .You may find my hands shaking, pretty assembles the guy who suffered from Pakinson's disease, and legs wobbling ,like I caught so-called ball leg. Okay, let's stop going around the bush and get back to my topic today.I really like to talk a funny story I have just heard.A ladycalled Lucy emigrated to United States several years ago.Her spoken English is not that fluent .And one day,she is just sitting on the couch with his U.S friends Mandy watching Sit-Com.A noise of bump had the attention of Mandy, which led her to go out of the house trying to figure out what had happened. Can you imagine that Mandy go straight out with merely a sweater. So Lucy shouted at her,"Lucy ,turn your clothes on." What suprised her most, beyond her wildest imagination, is that almost all the male in this country took their head out of the window.Admittedly,Lucy made a mistake here .The word spitted means Mandy is totally naked to the reason that male looked out of the window. The right sentence shall be,"put your clothing on."The story inspires you to take a careful look on the vast difference between eastern and western culture. That's full of it,thank you for your time!励志英语演讲稿篇11What would you do if you failed? Many people may choose to give up. The same is true with our life the flavor is created by our choices. If kindness is added to a strange you will have a friend; but if hostility is added, you will have an enemy. If love is added to a pile of red bricks you will have a home, but if hatred is add tothose bricks , you will have an concentration camp.So my dear friends, never complain that life is boring and the world is disappointing. If don’t like the taste of your life, change the ingredients.Three year ago, I weighed more than 100 hundred kilograms which causedsignificant embarrassment and frustration in my life. Like always failing my P.E examinations, like always being laughed at by girls, like being terrified to speak in public. It was my grandmother’s encouragement that revived from my passive attitude to become confident in myself. She said “ My dear, if you can’t chang e you figure, why not treat it as your own style. So I began to cautiously employ the new way of thinking. By choosing to change my outlook on life, I developed the confidence to make a difference and finally I found a totally new world. So my dear friend, if faith, hope, love, endurance are added to your life, you will find the confidence to conquer your limitation and embrace new challenges. 第1篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon! It is a great honor to stand before you today and share some thoughts that I believe will resonate with all of us as university students. The journey of university life is one of the most formative experiences we will ever encounter. It is a time of growth, discovery, and self-realization. As we navigate through this incredible phase of our lives, let us remember to embrace the journey and let it shape us into the individuals we are meant to be.First and foremost, let us acknowledge that university is not just about acquiring knowledge. It is a place where we are exposed to a world of possibilities, and it is our responsibility to explore them. The courses we take, the extracurricular activities we engage in, and the relationships we build are all part of the rich tapestry that defines our university experience.Imagine for a moment that you are standing at the edge of a vast, uncharted territory. This territory is your university life, and it is filled with opportunities waiting to be seized. The question is: Will you step forward and embrace the journey, or will you shrink back in fear and miss out on the incredible experiences that await you? Here are a few reasons why embracing the journey is crucial for our personal and academic growth:1. Personal Development: University is a time when we are exposed to diverse cultures, ideas, and perspectives. These encounters help us develop empathy, resilience, and adaptability. We learn to navigate through challenges, build confidence, and discover our strengths and weaknesses. Personal development is not a one-time event; it is a continuous process that begins at university and continues throughout our lives.2. Academic Growth: University is a place where we are encouraged to question, explore, and challenge ourselves. It is a time to broaden our horizons and delve into subjects that ignite our curiosity. By embracingthe journey, we are more likely to engage fully in our studies, push our limits, and achieve academic excellence.3. Networking and Relationships: The people we meet at university can become lifelong friends, mentors, and colleagues. Embracing the journey means making an effort to connect with others, join clubs and societies, and participate in events. These connections can open doors to future opportunities, both personally and professionally.4. Resilience and Adaptability: University life is not without its challenges. From academic pressures to personal struggles, we are bound to face difficulties along the way. Embracing the journey means being prepared to face these challenges head-on and learning from them. It is through adversity that we develop resilience and adaptability, qualities that are essential for success in any field.5. Cultural and Global Awareness: In an increasingly interconnected world, it is crucial to be culturally and globally aware. University provides us with the opportunity to learn about different cultures, histories, and traditions. By embracing the journey, we become more open-minded and understanding individuals, capable of contributing to a more inclusive and harmonious society. Now, let us discuss some practical steps we can take to embrace the journey:1. Set Goals: Define what you want to achieve during your time at university. Whether it is to excel academically, develop a particular skill, or make new friends, setting clear goals will help you stay focused and motivated.2. Stay Curious: Embrace the opportunity to learn about new subjects and ideas. Attend workshops, seminars, and guest lectures. Read books and articles outside your field of study. Curiosity is the key to personal and intellectual growth.3. Seek Support: Do not hesitate to ask for help when you need it. Whether it is academic guidance, emotional support, or advice onbalancing your workload, seeking help from professors, mentors, andpeers is crucial for your success.4. Balance Your Life: University life can be overwhelming, so it is important to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Make time for yourself, engage in hobbies, and spend quality time with friends and family.5. Embrace Failure: Remember that failure is not the end of the road; it is a stepping stone to success. Learn from your mistakes, pick yourself up, and keep moving forward. In conclusion, the journey of university life is a precious gift. It is a time to grow, learn, and explore. By embracing the journey, we can transform our experiences into valuable lessons that will shape our future. So let us step forward with confidence, courage, and determination, ready to face the challenges and seize the opportunities that lie ahead.Thank you for your attention, and here's to the incredible journey of university life!第2篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon! It is my great honor to stand before you today and share with you some thoughts on the journey of success in university. As we all know, university is a pivotal period in our lives where we shape our future, broaden our horizons, and cultivate the skills necessary to thrive in the competitive world. However, this journey is not without its challenges. In this speech, I will discuss the importance of embracing challenges, setting goals, and fostering resilience to achieve success in university.First and foremost, let us acknowledge that challenges are an inevitable part of university life. Whether it is academic pressure, social interactions, or personal struggles, challenges will test our limits andpush us to grow. It is crucial to embrace these challenges with an open mind and a positive attitude, rather than viewing them as obstacles.Embracing challenges is the first step towards success. When we face difficulties, we have the opportunity to learn and grow. By stepping out of our comfort zones, we can discover our strengths and weaknesses, and develop the skills needed to overcome future challenges. Remember, it is not the absence of challenges that defines our success, but how we respond to them. One of the key factors in overcoming challenges is setting clear goals. Goals give us direction and purpose, and help us stay focused on our objectives. In university, it is important to set both short-term and long-term goals. Short-term goals can include completing assignments, participating in extracurricular activities, or improving our grades. Long-term goals may involve pursuing a specific career path, acquiring certain skills, or making a positive impact on society. When setting goals, it is essential to be specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART). This approach ensures that our goals are realistic and attainable, and provides us with a clear roadmap to success. Moreover, regularly reviewing and adjusting our goals allows us to stay motivated and adaptable.Another crucial aspect of success in university is fostering resilience. Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity and continue moving forward. In the face of challenges, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and defeated. However, by cultivating resilience, we can turn setbacks into opportunities for growth. To build resilience, it is important to practice self-care, develop a strong support system, and maintain a positive mindset. Self-care includes taking care of our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Engaging in regular exercise, maintaining a healthy diet, and ensuring adequate sleep can help us manage stress and enhance our overall performance.Furthermore, a strong support system can provide us with the emotional and practical support we need during challenging times. This can include friends, family, mentors, or peers. Building a supportive network can help us stay motivated and confident in our abilities.Maintaining a positive mindset is equally important. When faced with adversity, it is essential to focus on our strengths and achievements, rather than dwell on our failures. By adopting a growth mindset, we believe that our abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work. This mindset empowers us to embrace challenges as opportunitiesfor learning and improvement. In addition to resilience, time management is another critical skill for success in university. Balancing academic responsibilities, social life, and personal well-being can be daunting. However, effective time management can help us optimize our productivity and reduce stress. To manage our time effectively, we can use various strategies such as creating to-do lists, prioritizing tasks, and setting deadlines. It is also important to allocate time for relaxation and self-care, as this will help us maintain our mental and physical health.Lastly, let us not forget the importance of adaptability. The world is constantly evolving, and the skills we acquire in university should prepare us for a dynamic and ever-changing future. By staying adaptable, we can easily adapt to new situations and embrace new opportunities. In conclusion, the journey to success in university is filled with challenges, but by embracing these challenges, setting clear goals, fostering resilience, managing our time effectively, and remaining adaptable, we can achieve our dreams and make a positive impact on the world. As we embark on this exciting journey, let us remember that success is not a destination, but a continuous process. It requires hard work, determination, and a positive mindset. By embracing the challenges that lie ahead, we can turn them into stepping stones to our success.Thank you for your attention, and may your university journey be filled with growth, discovery, and success.God bless![The end]第3篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon! It is a great honor to stand before you today and share some thoughts with you about the journey we are all on - the journey of college life. College is a time of immense growth, both personally and academically. It is a place where we learn not only about our chosen fields of study but also about ourselves. Today, I want to encourage you to embrace challenges, ignite your potential, and make the most out of this incredible experience.Firstly, let us talk about the challenges that come with college life. College is not just about attending lectures and studying textbooks. It is about adapting to a new environment, making new friends, and balancing a myriad of responsibilities. These challenges can be overwhelming, but they are also opportunities for growth. One of the most significant challenges in college is managing time effectively. With a packed schedule of classes, assignments, extracurricular activities, and social events, it can be easy to feel like you are constantly running on a hamster wheel. However, it is crucial to remember that time management is a skill that can be learned and improved upon. By setting priorities, creating a schedule, and practicing self-discipline, you can turn this challenge into an advantage.Another challenge is the pressure to succeed. College is often seen as a stepping stone to a successful career, and the pressure to perform academically can be immense. But let me remind you that success is not measured by the grades you receive or the accolades you accumulate. Success is about finding what truly fulfills you, and pursuing that withpassion and dedication. Remember, it is not the destination that matters, but the journey itself. Now, let's talk about embracing these challenges. Embracing challenges means facing them head-on, without fear or hesitation. It means stepping out of your comfort zone and pushing yourself to grow. When you encounter obstacles, do not see them as barriers but as stepping stones to greater achievements. One way to embrace challenges is to be open to new experiences. College is a time to explore different subjects, join clubs, and participate in activities that you may never have considered before. By doing so, you expand your horizons and discover new passions and talents. Remember, the more experiences you have, the more you learn about yourself and the world around you.Another way to embrace challenges is to surround yourself withsupportive people. Your college journey will be much easier if you have a strong support system of friends, family, and mentors. They will provide you with encouragement, advice, and a listening ear when you need it most. Do not be afraid to reach out and form meaningful connections. These relationships will not only enrich your college experience but also prepare you for the future. As you navigate through the challenges of college, it is important to remember that you have the power to shape your own destiny. You have the potential to be great, and it is up to you to ignite that potential. Here are some steps to help you on your journey:1. Set goals: Define what you want to achieve in college and create a plan to get there. Whether it is to excel in your major, join a student organization, or travel abroad, having clear goals will keep you focused and motivated.2. Stay curious: Always seek knowledge and opportunities for growth. Read books, attend workshops, and engage in discussions that challenge your perspectives. Curiosity is the foundation of learning and personal development.3. Be resilient: Life will not always go according to plan. When you face setbacks, learn from them and use them as opportunities to grow stronger. Resilience is a key trait that will serve you well in college and beyond.4. Take care of yourself: Your mental and physical well-being are crucial. Make time for relaxation, exercise, and hobbies that bring you joy. Remember that balance is essential for a fulfilling college experience.5. Believe in yourself: Have confidence in your abilities and dreams. Believe that you have the power to make a difference in the world. Self-belief is the fuel that will drive you to achieve great things. In conclusion, college is a time of immense potential and growth. By embracing challenges, you will unlock your true potential and create a remarkable journey. Remember that you are not alone in this journey; you have a supportive community around you. Take advantage of the opportunities that college offers, and let your passion and determination guide you to success.Thank you for listening, and here's to an extraordinary college experience filled with challenges, growth, and triumphs. Go out there and make your mark on the world![Applause]。

good morning everyone. my name is xxx. today my topic is my college life. i wish i could share my happiness and annoyance i have experienced with you all.tuo years ago i came into the city of qinhuangdao and started my college life in E&A college, the most memorable journey of my life. i was just a shy and little boy that time. all the things seemed fresh to me: new faces, military training, large library and physics lab etc. i breathed the air of college greedily, but to ___ the truth, the air in Qinhuangdao is wonderful. it’s really hard to explain my feelings that time: curious? energetic? in one word, i was really happy that time.and now i am going to be a junior in july. recalling to the two years, i think i have to talk about onething-----learning. learn how to study independently, learn how to get along with others, learn to love, learn to… oh, there are too much things we have to learn.paring with senior high school, college is a rather different place. there aren’t so many people to watch you and guide you how to do something any more, neither are there so many students who share with you one dream. in college, you must think and study yourself, so you have to learn and practice to control yourself.the relationship between boys and girls in college is always love. i fell in love too. that was the second year in college; i fell in love with a girl who is cute and beautiful.i was sweet then. but because i didn’t know how to deal with the relationship, my first love failed at last. bitterness filled my life from then on. i really appreciated that god brought another girl into my life. she is my classmate in senior high school. i like to call her “yatou”. in my difficult time, she was with me, relieving me. gradually i found i like to talk to her and being with her is really fortable. i think i love her and this time i won’t let her go. another relationship incollege is friendship. my roommates have lived two years with me. in these years, they forgive my faults, cry with me, laugh with me, play with me… they always stand with me and support me, i have learned a lot from them. i love them all and treasure the friendship with them.that’s my college life. i cherish all i have experienced in college. i love you, my college!that’s all, thank youwhen finishing the high school course, not every student has the chance or ability to go to college. some students choose to seek a job, start their own business or pursue other interest. however, for some students who want to get further education, they choose self-education, self-education is no better than university studies.on the one hand, self-education lacks of a well-defined structure. in the school, the teacher will make some plans for students’ studies; they plan the target, the fulfillment of expectation and assessment of the program. with these, studentscan know their own flaws, making progress gradually. while self-learners may lose themselves, they have no test, no homework and no exam; it is hard for them to know how to get improved.on the other hand, self-education doesn’t provide the environment which students can learn from each other. college provides students the stage to municate with others, making friends; students can also have the chance to enhance the ability of team work and readership. those abilities are very important for students, when they are finding a job, they have the advantages.self-education is a way of gaining knowledge; i prefer to study in college, because i like to municate with friends. though self-education can’t take place for university studies, we can choose to learn elective courses in that way.there is an old saying,” haste makes waste.” it is the experience of our ancestors; however, it is correct in many cases even today.usually, if you act faster, you can reach your goals earlier. but it isn’t always the case. if you emphasize only on speed but ignore the quality of your work, your effect will be the opposite.suppose you are preparing for your final examination. there are a lot of exercises to do and many notes to memorize. the fact that you have not enough time makes you very worried. therefore, you have read and write continuously, without rest, without sleep, without relaxation. the result is that your brain is less and less efficient, your process is slower and slower. the situation goes from bad to worse. all your efforts lead to nothing.on the contrary, if you do your preparations with a calculated plan and carry out the plan step by step, your work will be effective. consequently, you will take part in the exams confidently with good preparations.whatever you do, please remember the saying----haste makes waste. if you understand it and apply it to your study or work, you’ll benefit a lot form it.【大学英语励志演讲稿范文(通用3篇)】相关文章:1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.模板,内容仅供参考。
