改变3 单句翻译变段落翻译
新试题难度：根据现行的翻译题型设置，考生需要进行5个单句的汉译英翻译，且题目会给一半信息。改革后的方案，原单句汉译英调整为段落汉译英，分值比过去提高了15分，取消的完形填空分值全部补充到翻译部分。短句翻译变为了篇章翻译，难度增加，时间加长。

快速阅读部分变成段落信息匹配题，其中四级考试需要看10个左右的段落，然后匹配10个信息点；六级则是15个段落，匹配10个信息点；完形填空取消，取而代之的是经过加长版本的短句翻译，即将一篇分钟。(翻译时间加长) 变化体现在对考生运用语言能力要求的提升，包括取消完形这样的客观题,增加主观题，过往的应试题型也逐渐被淘汰。

听写句子改为单词或词组
新试题难度：根据新题型的说明，原复合式听写调整为单词或者词组听写，短文长度及难度不变。
取消句子的听写，听写变成全部考察单词或者短语。改革前的复合式听写，要求考生根据听到的内容写出3个句子和7个单词。新四级要求考生在听懂短文的基础上，用所听到的原文填写空缺的单词或词组，共10题。短文播放三遍，注意停顿的时间估计会取消。

改变2 快速阅读变段落信息匹配题
新试题难度：在此之前，长篇阅读部分，原来快速阅读部分要求15分钟完成10题（7道单选，3道填空），不少同学因为时间紧迫，答题卡到收取时，也基本上还未和最后两题“见面”。此次调整后，原来的选择加填空调整为匹配题。篇章后附有10个句子，每句一题。每句所含的信息出自篇章的某一段落，要求考生找出与每句所含信息相匹配的段落。有的段落可能对应两题，有的段落可能不对应任何一题。
