Unit 4 How Does a Secretary Receive Visitors?本单元教学要求:1.掌握秘书接待礼仪和原则2.了解英文商务信函要领3.熟悉商务礼仪Section 1 Dealing with Visitors一、背景知识接待工作是一项全面体现秘书素质、修养的工作,也是通过秘书体现政府机关、企事业单位作风和展示其形象的的工作。

这项工作意义重大,而且也十分具体。

因此,为做好接待工作,秘书要遵循以下几项原则:1.尽量坚持“约见”制度。

但是对无约来客,要本着热情服务、礼貌待人的态度,根据不同的来访事宜,区别对待,既不要一律不办,也不要过分迁就,办或不办最终都要让来客认识到:办事有约为好。

2.必须坚持“一视同仁”的原则。

无论来客是领导还是一般办事人员,都要热情服务,礼貌接待,有同等的尊重和礼遇。

3.坚持热情适度、礼仪周全的接待原则。

工作中,在坚持上述两项原则的同时,还要注意遵守保密条例、介绍礼仪和迎送礼仪。

4.坚持接待工作有始有终,始终如一的原则。

对所有来宾要认真负责,服务周到,做好记录,善始善终。

5.坚持“上下区分,内外有别”的原则。

秘书要有上下级单位、领导和国内外来宾的服务意识,根据其身份、地位、权力和目的,做出正确判断,酌情做自己该做的事情。
