Bread: When a bread basket is served, take a small piece of bread and place it directly onto your bread plate. Tear off bite-sized pieces, rather than biting into the whole slice.5. Soup: To consume soup, use your spoon by scooping it away from you. Sip the soup silently, without making any slurping noises.6. Eating: Take small, manageable bites and chew with your mouthclosed. Avoid speaking with food in your mouth as it is considered impolite.7. Wine: When wine is served, wait for the host to make a toast before taking your first sip. Hold the stem of the wine glass rather than the bowl to prevent warming the wine with the heat from your hand.8. Passing food: Do not reach across the table to grab food; instead, ask for it to be passed to you. Politely say "Please pass the (food item)" while extending your arm slightly towards the person closest to the dish.9. Paying the bill: If you invited someone to the meal, it is customary for you to pay. However, if you are the guest, it is polite to offer to pay your share or split the bill.10. Thanking the host: After the meal, it is good etiquette to express your appreciation to the host or hostess. A simple "Thank you for the lovely meal" is sufficient.Remembering and following these etiquette guidelines will help you make a positive impression when dining at a Western restaurant. Enjoy the meal while appreciating the cultural customs and manners that accompany it.在西方餐厅用餐的时候,了解正确的礼仪是确保一个愉快和尊重的体验的关键。

西餐用餐礼仪英文作文

西餐用餐礼仪英文作文英文:As a professional in the hospitality industry, I have had extensive training in Western dining etiquette. Here are some key points to keep in mind when dining in a Western-style restaurant:1. Wait to be seated: Unlike in some Asian cultures where you may be expected to find your own table, in Western restaurants it is customary to wait to be seated by a host or hostess.2. Napkin placement: When you are seated, the napkin will either be on the table or on your plate. If it is on the table, wait for your host or hostess to pick it up and place it on your lap. If it is on your plate, unfold it and place it on your lap.3. Silverware usage: In Western dining, there areusually multiple forks, knives, and spoons. The generalrule is to start from the outside and work your way in with each course. The fork is typically used with the left hand and the knife with the right hand. When finished with a course, place the silverware diagonally across the plate.4. Wine etiquette: If wine is served, wait for yourhost or hostess to pour the wine for you. Hold the glass by the stem and take small sips throughout the meal. If you do not want any wine, simply place your hand over the glassand politely decline.5. Conversation: In Western dining, it is customary to engage in conversation with your dining companions. However, it is important to avoid controversial topics such aspolitics or religion.中文:作为酒店业的专业人士,我接受过广泛的西式用餐礼仪培训。
