1.形式：单人回答问题

2.考试步骤：考试分两部分。第一部分学生抽签回答事先布置的有准备的话题，

并回答；第二部分考官随意提问，看学生临场发挥的能力。

3.分值：第一部分为20分，第二部分为10分。总分30分。

1. Why do people get depressed? Is there any connection between depression and bad luck? Can depression be overcome? (Unit 1)

Sometimes many people get depressed because they failed in their work or lost the fame which they always seek. Sometimes we can think that the depression is connected with bad luck, so leading us to get failed. But the person who achieves success finds that the depression can be overcome, as long as we try to be happy with who you are and what you do instead of trying so hard to achieve success. try to do the work that we can be proud of. Maybe we won’t be famous in our lifetime, but we may create better art.

2. In what ways can people improve their appearance? (unit 2)

Everyone hopes to have the beautiful appearance, with the development of society, the method of becoming beautiful is growing. In my opinion, I think people can through the follow ways to improve their appearance. Firstly, they can make up. Secondly, they can design a hairdo for themselves, so that they can look different. Thirdly, people may go on a diet to maintain a good figure. All in all, nowadays, there are many ways for people to improve their appearance. But, In my opinion，the best way to improve appearance is trying to learn to be more elegant and to be more knowledgeable. Only you do this, your beauty will be everlasting.

3. After finishing undergraduate studies, would you like to find a job or pursue a postgraduate degree? Why? (unit 5)

I'd like to pursue a postgraduate degree.Coz there is a clear association between level of education and employment, as well as salary. With job roles becoming increasingly complex, higher levels of skills and qualifications are needed, especially if job candidates are seeking a competitive edge over those with undergraduate qualifications.what's more ,my major's goal is to cultivite us to become a reseachers.So calls for us to pursue a postgraduate.

4. Do you think success is due more to luck and opportunity or to diligence? Why?

Sometimes a lucky person achieves great success without making the corresponding efforts. While I am inclined to believe that success is more closely related to diligence than to luck. Maybe in gambling, card-playing and some other games, luck plays an important role. But in most fields , one has to study and work hard before one has a chance of success. For example, all scientists, engineers, teachers, musicians and athletes must receive years of rough training before they can do their work properly and stand out from the rest. After all, opportunity favors those who are well prepared.

5. What do you think about computer or the Internet as sources of entertainment? (unit 7)

With the advent of the computer and the Internet, we can play all kinds of games in the virtual world; we can play chess and cards with people we have never met, even a chess master. Besides,We can travel to all parts of the world on the Net. We can send Moreover, we can make use of the Net as a way of learning.

Whereas if we sit in front of a computer all day long, there will be many negative effects. It may impair our eyesight ,and radiation is bad for our health. Worse still, if we indulge to the computer, we may neglect friends and relatives around us in the real world.

6.How can we narrow the gap between the rich and the poor?(unit 9)

Chinese government is fully aware of the potential danger of property gap between the rich and the poor. If this gap keeps widening, it might impact the stability of the whole society.

To achieve this goal, China is making great efforts to create a harmonious society. The new society mainly highlight social stability and environmental-friendliness. One major step has been taken to achieve this goal. Since 2006, the income tax law has been amended on the basis of harmonious society construction, which means more benefits will go to the poor and the average people. Under the new income tax law, the general principle is that the more you earn, the more you pay as income tax Some other measures have also been taken to narrow the gap between the rich and the poor. Since China is a large country, policies are flexible and vary according to the conditions in local places.For example,the farmers do not need to pay educational tuition for their kids before they enter the senior middle schools either. Medical care of the farmers is also being taken care of.

7. Do you hope to become famous? Why or why not? (unit 1)

F ame is not something someone should want, although, many still want it.

Everyone should just be themselves and do what makes them happy. From that, if you decide to become a master of the acting craft, or a writer or any other profession that is constantly observed by the media then you will become 'famous'.

So once you're doing what you love and if the world seems to love what you're doing as well then you become famous. Being famous is a certification for my effort.So i want to become famous,

8. What impressed you most about Chaplin’s life? （unit 2）

As far as I'm concerned, Chaplin was a man of great personality and all his life could be regarded as a perfect tour. It's no denying that Chaplin was a outstanding actor and he performed his life by being an wonderful actor of silent films in that age. His humorous and funny action as well as his responsibility impressed me most.

9. What impact does the telecommunications revolution have on our life? (unit 4) It makes Our life more efficient and convenient.For example,we can connect easily with others even he or she lives far away from us .Besides,we can send E-mail instead of walking to post office. There is an increasingly number of people in the city with the remarkable improvement of living standard, which greatly reduces the inspiration about writing paper or poems. In my view people who want to get numerous inspirations have no alternative but to find an alone part.

Firstly, living alone is a good way to depicting or writing. For example, the painter often lives with animals or plants in order to portray the stuffs more animatedly.

Besides, solitude could practice people's patient which is important to inspirations. In some degree,Patient, means tremendous inspirations if people are keeping calm.
