In general I think Beijing is a great city. I have lived here for six months. I am enjoying this city very much. I came to Beijing to teach English, and learn some Chinese, and I have been able to do a little of both. I hope I will be able to continue living in Beijing for a long time. I need to study Chinese a lot more!

2. How long would you like to stay in Beijing? What time do you want to go?I think you mean “When do you want to go to Beijing”?What is the best time (season) to travel in Beijing?

I think I would like to stay in Beijing for 3 months. I think the best time to go to Beijing is in the spring because the weather is not too hot and not too cold. Also, the flowers are blooming and the city is very beautiful. I might be able to stay for longer than 3 months. If I can stay for longer than 3 months I would like to stay for 6 months, from April to September.

3. What is the difference between traveling alone and traveling in a group?

When you travel alone, you are able to anything you want at any time you want. When you travel in a group you must take part in the activities that everyone wants to do. Travelling with a group can often make you feel safer, because you have many other people with you. Traveling alone might make you feel unsafe because you do not have other people with you. I prefer to travel alone because I like to be able to do things when I want. I need to be more careful when I am traveling alone, but I don’t mind.

4. What advantages and disadvantages of traveling?

I think there are more advantages of traveling than disadvantages. Traveling is the best way to learn about the world. You can read about things in books, but it is always better to see it in person. Also, you can learn so much about culture by traveling. It is very interesting to visit different parts of the world, and see how different people live. The only disadvantage of traveling is that you might miss you friends and family at home.

I think so many people are going abroad for travel because now it is easier to travel abroad than it was in the past. There are many airlines offering cheap flights to many different places. The first time I travelled abroad it was very very expensive, but now I can have the same holiday for about half price. I
