I thought I would write and tell you all about my life at school since that's where I spend most of my time these days!I wake up pretty early every morning around 6:30am. My mom makes me a yummy breakfast - usually eggs, toast, and orange juice. Then I get dressed in my school uniform which is a blue polo shirt, khaki pants, and black sneakers. I pack up my backpack with my books, pencils, snacks, and water bottle.The big yellow school bus picks me up at my house at7:45am. I live pretty close to the school so I'm one of the first stops. I like getting on the bus early so I can snag a good seat! My best friend Lily gets on at the next stop. We always sit together and chat about our plans for the day during the bus ride.We arrive at school around 8:15am. I go straight to my classroom and put away my backpack and lunchbox. My homeroom teacher is Mrs. Henderson and she's really nice. She always has a bright smile and warm greeting for us each morning. My parents work later so I go to the afterschool program at my school until about 5:30pm. It's pretty relaxed - we have some activity centers like legos, blocks, board games, and crafts that we can choose from. We also get to go outside and run around on the playground some more.
