1Qianfo Mountain: A Rocky Wonder!Have you ever seen a whole mountain made of rock carvings? Well, I'm going to tell you all about this amazing place called Qianfo Mountain near the city of Mianyang in Sichuan Province, China. It's one of the coolest places I've ever visited!Qianfo Mountain is huge - it covers over 7 square kilometers! That's about the size of 1000 football fields all put together. And get this - there are over 20,000 Buddha statues carved right into the rocky cliffs! They were made hundreds of years ago during the Tang Dynasty. Can you imagine how long it must have taken to carve all those Buddhas out of solid rock?My favorite part was the giant Buddha statue near the entrance. It's over 24 meters tall - that's like a 7 or 8 story building! The Buddha is sitting down with his legs crossed and has a really peaceful look on his face. I tried making that same pose but it was too hard to hold for very long.As you climb up the mountain trails, you pass by all these little grottoes and caves with even more Buddha carvings inside. Some are tiny, only a few inches tall, while others are massive and take up an entire cave wall. The carvings show Buddhas standing, sitting, and lying down. A few even have intricate designs and patterns decorating their robes. My legs got pretty tired from all the uphill climbing, but it was worth it to see everything. At the very top, there's a flat area with some temples and a tall pagoda. From up there, you can look out over the whole area and all the Buddha-covered cliffs. It's breathtaking!I couldn't believe that people were able to carve these thousands of Buddha statues into the solid rock mountainside so long ago. They must have been extremely patient, determined, and talented. All the different poses, expressions, and designs are so detailed and lifelike.Qianfo Mountain isn't just bunch of boring old carvings though. It's a living, breathing place where people still come to practice Buddhism and find peace and enlightenment. We saw monks chanting, worshippers praying, and incense burning when we visited.I'd love to go back to Qianfo Mountain again someday. There's just something magical about the whole place - the towering rock cliffs, ancient carvings, peaceful vibe, and incredible views everywhere you look. It's an outdoor museum and shrine all in one! If you ever get the chance to visit, you have to go see this rocky wonder for yourself.篇2Qianfo Mountain: A Magical Place of Many BuddhasHi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm 9 years old. Last summer, my family took the most amazing trip to Qianfo Mountain in Mianyang, China. Let me tell you all about this super cool place!Qianfo Mountain is located in the western part of Mianyang city in Sichuan Province. It's famous for having over 20,000 Buddha statues carved into the cliffs along the river. Can you imagine - 20,000 Buddhas! That's a whole lot of Buddhas. The mountain gets its name, which means "Mountain of A Thousand Buddhas", from all these incredible stone carvings. Most of the Buddhas were made during the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, which were a very long time ago. The oldest carvings are over 1,000 years old!My favorite part was walking along the river and spotting the Buddhas peeking out from between the trees and rocks. Some were tiny, no bigger than my hand. But others were humongous, taller than my daddy! The Buddhas had different poses and expressions too. Some were sitting calmly while others stood up straight. A few even seemed to be smiling at me.As we walked, our tour guide told us many stories about the mountain's history. Apparently, in ancient times, thousands of monks lived and studied there. The first Buddhas were carved by these monks as a way to practice their faith. Over the centuries, more and more Buddhas were added by other monks, artists and travelers. What an incredible labor of love and devotion!Aside from the Buddhas, Qianfo Mountain was just a stunningly beautiful place. The river rushed over rocks and under little bridges. Waterfalls tumbled down the cliffs. And everything was lush and green with bamboo, flowers and mossy boulders. It felt like being in a secret garden or fairy Tale!At one point, we came to a bend in the river with hundreds of Buddhas carved into the soaring cliffs on both sides. Our guide called this the "Buddha Corridor." As I slowly walked through, it felt like the wise eyes of the Buddhas were watching over me. So peaceful and magical! After the Buddha Corridor, we visited some ancient temples tucked into the mountains. We saw more incredible Buddha statues plus pagodas, grottoes and carvings of Buddhist stories and symbols. My little brother and I had fun trying to find the Laughing Buddha among the many figures.Towards the end, we took a little boat ride along the river to see the mountain from the water. The scenery was breathtaking, with Buddhas carved into every cliff side. No wonder this place is considered one of the best Buddhist rock carving sites in all of China! Before heading home, we stopped at the Qianfo Mountain Museum to learn even more. There were lots of displays explaining how the carvings were made and the history behind them. My favorite part was the diorama showing monks from long ago working on new Buddha sculptures. So cool to imagine what it would have been like!I had such an awesome time exploring Qianfo Mountain. It truly felt like a magical world frozen in time, with Buddhas reminding us of the patient and spiritual work of ancient people. I'll never forget walking along that river and discovering smiling Buddhas around every bend. Put this place on your bucket list for sure! I can't wait to go back someday.篇3My Awesome Trip to Thousand Buddha MountainLast summer, my family and I went on a super cool trip to Thousand Buddha Mountain in Mianyang, China. It was amazing! Thousand Buddha Mountain is this huge mountain filled with tons of ancient Buddha statues carved into the cliffs. I had never seen anything like it before! We started our adventure by taking a bus from the city up a long, windy road into the mountains. As we got closer, I could see the tall peaks of Thousand Buddha Mountain poking up into the sky. I was so excited to explore! The first stop was the Walking Buddha Trail. This is a path along the mountain with life-sized Buddha statues carved right into the rocky cliffs! Each Buddha was posed in a different position - some were standing, some sitting, and some laying down. My favorite was the reclining Buddha that was almost as long as a school bus!As we hiked along, our guide told us that the carvings dated all the way back to the 4th century AD when Buddhist monks lived and meditated in the mountain caves. He said over 20,000Buddha figures had been discovered there. That's a lot of Buddhas!Next, we visited the Thousand Buddha Valley. This area had a river running through it with waterfalls, pools, and thousands of tiny Buddha statues lining the cliff walls. I've never seen so many Buddhas gathered together! Our guide said they were carved between the 7th and 10th centuries. I tried to count them all but quickly lost track. After hiking for a while, we stopped for a picnic lunch. We had noodles, dumplings, and lots of fresh fruit. Everything tasted so yummy after our morning of exploring! In the afternoon, we visited some of the larger cave sanctuaries that had once housed Buddhist monasteries. Inside the dimly lit caverns, I could see ornate carvings of Buddhas, bodhisattvas, and celestial beings adorning the walls and ceilings. In one cave, there was an enormous 62-foot reclining Buddha statue! It took over 90 years for the monks to carve that single Buddha. Their patience and craftsmanship were incredible. On our last stop, we climbed up to the Sky Buddha Cliff. From there, you could look out over the entire mountain and see all of the Buddha carvings scattered across the cliffs. The view was breathtaking. Our guide said people had been makingpilgrimages to this sacred mountain for over 1500 years. Just being there made me feel a sense of peace and wonder.By the end of the day, my legs were worn out from all the hiking and climbing. But I had so much fun learning about the history and Buddhist culture of Thousand Buddha Mountain. The carvings were awe-inspiring works of art and devotion. That's what Qianfosan is all about! These little Buddhas were made during the Wei and Jin dynasties, over 1,500 years ago! Can you believe people could carve so many statues back then? It must have taken them forever! But that's not all. As you climb up the mountain, you'll see all sorts of interesting things. There are ancient temples and pagodas that are hundreds of years old. Some of them have the prettiest paintings and carvings you've ever seen! My favorite is the Xiangfu Temple, which has a giant Buddha statue that's almost 20 meters tall! Imagine how tiny we would look standing next to it.Oh, and don't forget to check out the caves! Qianfosan has over 20,000 caves and grottoes, and some of them are filled with even more Buddha statues and carvings. It's like a giant art gallery inside the mountain! One of the coolest caves is called the Water Curtain Cave because it has a waterfall flowing right in front of it. How awesome is that?If you're feeling adventurous, you can even hike all the way to the top of Qianfosan. It's a long way up, but the view from the peak is absolutely breathtaking. You can see the whole city of Mianyang and the mountains stretching out in every direction. It's like being on top of the world! But wait, there's more! Qianfosan is also home to some amazing wildlife. You might spot cute little monkeys swinging from the trees or colorful birds flitting from branch to branch. If you're really lucky, you might even see a giant panda! They're sofluffy and adorable, but you have to be very quiet and respectful if you want to see one. After all that exploring, you'll probably work up a big appetite. It's in Mianyang, which is a city in the Sichuan province of China. I had so much fun exploring this famous Buddhist mountain. Let me tell you all about my awesome adventure there! We started our trip by driving from our home in Chengdu to Mianyang. It took a few hours, but I didn't mind because I got to look out the window at the pretty mountains and rivers along the way. When we finally made it to Qianfo Mountain, I could hardly contain my excitement! The first thing I noticed were all the incredible stone carvings everywhere. There are over 20,000 Buddha statues and inscriptions carved right into the red rocky cliffs! My mom told me they were made between 1,300 and 1,700 years ago during the Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty times. That's so old! The carvings depict Buddhas, bodhisattvas, and scenes from Buddhist stories. I thought they were absolutely amazing. We started exploring by hiking up the trails through the valley. Everywhere I looked there were carved Buddhas staring back at me from the cliffs. Some were tiny, only a few inches tall, while others towered tens of feet high! I felt like a little ant compared to them. My favorite was a massive 63-foot tallBuddha called the Giant Buddha. It must have taken the sculptors forever to carve something so huge out of solid rock!As we hiked along, we passed by pretty streams, waterfalls, ancient temples, and pine forests. The mountain scenery was just breathtaking. We even spotted some monkeys swinging through the trees! I had to be careful not to drop my snacks though, or those sneaky monkeys might have snatched them up.My legs got pretty tired from all the hiking, but it was worth it to see all the incredible sights. We took a break at this one temple area with an arched bridge over a gurgling creek. Red lanterns hung from the roof and prayer flags fluttered in the breeze. It felt like something out of a storybook. As the sun started to set, we made our way back down the trails. I was exhausted but so happy after such an amazing day. On the drive back home, I kept thinking about how those ancient stone Buddhas had been sitting on that mountain for centuries, peacefully watching over the valley as the world changed around them.Qianfo Mountain felt almost magical, like a place lost in time. I'm so grateful I got to experience its natural beauty and incredible heritage. It's a memory I'll never forget! If you ever get the chance to visit, you absolutely have to go. Last summer, my family went on an awesome trip to Qianfoshan, which is a famous mountain in Mianyang, Sichuan Province. It was sooooo cool and I want to tell you all about it!First of all, Qianfoshan is known for having over 20,000 Buddha statues carved into the cliffs along the mountain. Can you imagine that many Buddhas all in one place? It's justmind-blowing! The carvings date all the way back to the 4th century AD during the Eastern Jin Dynasty. That's like over 1,600 years ago! They are truly ancient works of art.My favorite part was the Huayan Stone Carvings. This is a giant rock cliff completely covered in intricately carved Buddha figures and designs. It looks like someone spent forever chiseling every single inch. The details are unbelievable - each Buddha has a different expression and pose. I tried counting them all but quickly lost track after a few hundred! Huayan means "floweradorned" which describes the carvings perfectly - it's like they blossomed right out of the stone.Another highlight was the Dafowan Scenic Area. This is a big area with tons of grottoes and caves housing even more Buddha statues inside. We saw all different sizes, from tiny ones you could hold in your hand to massive ones taller than my dad! Some were intricately painted while others were plain stone. I felt like I was on an archaeological dig discovering ancient treasures. My little brother's favorite part was seeing all the monkeys! Troops of rhesus monkeys live on the mountain and they would run along the paths looking for snacks from tourists. One even stole my mom's bag of peanuts right out of her hands! We had to be really careful around them. After our descent, we visited Qianfoyan, which is a scenic village at the base of the mountain. It was like stepping back in time to an ancient Chinese town with old buildings, cobblestone streets, and little shops selling all kinds of snacks and souvenirs. I bought a little stone Buddha figurine to remember my trip.Overall, my trip to Qianfoshan was an amazing experience that I'll never forget. Seeing all those ancient Buddha carvings up close made me feel connected to China's rich history and culture. It's an incredibly special place that everyone should visit.

卧佛英文简介只有45个英文单词,出现错误4处(括号内有更正):ThisBuddhistwascreatedin1996andis(was或省略)outofgranite.Itis10meterslongandweights50 tonsandisthelargest(Buddhist)inshandong (Shandong)province.
