William Tyndale (1494 -1536) Britain;
He wrote the Bible in English so all could read it. He was put in prison and died for his ideas but his work was later used in the Bible.
He fought for the black people and was in prison for thirty years. He helped the black people to get the same rights as white people in South Africa..
He landed on the moon in July 1969. He was the first man to land on the moon .He said, “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.”

Norman Bethune (1890-1939) Canada
He gave up his career in Canada and fought against the German Nazis and Japanese invaders during World War II. He saved many Chinese soldiers but died helping the Chinese army as a doctor.
