一、活动目的：
随着新课改的推进，如何使青少年大胆自信地开口说英语,是英语教学工作者不可推卸的责任。
英语作为世界上使用最广泛的语言，在国际交流中起着至关重要的作用。
所以，英语口语和演说已成为衡量综合型人才的一项重要标准。
为了创造浓厚的校园文化氛围，掀起学英语、说英语的热潮，塑造中南大学附属实验中学的崭新形象，特举办本次英语演讲比赛。
二、可行性分析
1.学校角度
（1）给同学们提供一次展示自我的平台，给同学们创造了一次互相交流的机会，帮助同学们提高自身的英语口语水平及在公众场合下的英语演说能力。
（2）丰富了学校开展的校园文化艺术节活动，锻炼了学生干部的能力，帮助学生会更好更快的成长。
（3）通过该活动来展示本阶段的英语教学水平及成果。
（4）通过这次活动来积累宝贵的经验，便于今后教学和活动的开展。
2.选手角度
（1）有一次展示自己英语口语水平的机会，有一次与他人交流英语学习心得的机会，有一次找到志同道合的伙伴的机
会，有一次为英语而疯狂的机会。
（2）锻炼自己的心理素质和口语表达能力，提高团队合作精神。
3.观众角度
（1）为观众带来一场激烈，精彩的英语演讲比赛，带动全体中学生学习英语的热情，激励其学习兴趣。
（2）丰富课余生活，增长见识，开拓视野。

五、活动内容及形式
初赛：
由各班英语任课老师开展小型英语演讲比赛，选拔2名优秀选手代表所在班级参与学校组织的决赛。
决赛：
演讲主题不限，主题涵盖范围较广，选手可在主题范围内自定小标题。
演讲内容可涉及学习、工作、生活中的点点滴滴，人生观、价值取向，人与人之间的关系等方面。
文体形式不限，可叙述、可议论、可抒情，但要真实，体现个性。
语言风格要求生动活泼，有感染力。
演讲时间：每人三分钟。
六、活动时间
初赛：期中考试之后的第一个星期
决赛：12月21日
七、活动地点
决赛：学校大礼堂
八、活动流程
初赛：各班自行举办，提倡办出特色，办出水平，推举优秀选手，以保证比赛质量。
决赛：
1.选手演讲顺序于比赛前一天抽签决定，参赛选手出场顺序按抽签决定，从小号到大号依次参加比赛。
2.比赛程序：
A．比赛开始：主持人入场，介绍领导，宣布赛制。
B．选手依次登台演讲。

组，其次是高中组）
3.比赛规则：
A.成绩计算：评委成绩中去掉一个最高分和一个最低分后的平均分为参赛选手的最终成绩。
B.参赛选手的最终成绩，从高分到低分依次排列名次，确定获奖等次。
九、奖项设置
共设置一、二、三等奖。
初中组：一等奖4名；二等奖5名；三等奖5名。
高中组：一等奖3名；二等奖4名；三等奖4名。
十、活动宣传
前期宣传：
在人流量较大地点张贴海报、悬挂条幅等大幅覆盖面宣传的同时，利用校广播台在赛前进行循环宣传，鼓励更多的同学报名参加，并扩大活动的影响力。
后期宣传：
1、此次比赛全场用DV纪录，比赛结束后将制作剪辑后的视频刻碟。
2、有专门的工作人员进行拍照留影。
3、还将利用学校网络之窗等立体宣传媒体对此次比赛进行全程报道。

评分标准包括演讲内容、台风及仪表形象、语言应用能力等方面。
评分采用100分制,具体分值如下：

3）发音准确。
●演讲内容：（35分）
4）主题鲜明，内容充实。
5）行文流畅，用词精练，详略得当。

8）表现力、应变力强，能活跃气氛，引起观众共鸣。
