小学生写景点英文作文
小学生写景点英文作文As a primary school student, my recent trip to the Summer Palace in Beijing was an unforgettable experience. The Summer Palace, also known as the Old Summer Palace, is a large historical garden located in the western suburbs of Beijing. It is famous for its beautiful scenery, rich cultural heritage, and fascinating historical stories. The moment I entered the Summer Palace, I was greeted by the magnificent Longevity Hill. Covered with green trees and flowers, the hill looked like a painting come to life.I could see the top of the hill in the distance, and I was eager to climb up and see the beautiful view from there. With my little legs, I made my way slowly but surely up the hill, and when I finally reached the top, the view was breathtaking. I could see the entire Summer Palace spread out below me, with the Kunming Lake shining in the sun like a mirror. After descending from the Longevity Hill, I made my way to the Kunming Lake. The lake was calm and serene, with lotus flowers blooming on its surface. I watched as the ducks and swans swam gracefully in the water, and I fedthem some bread crumbs I had brought with me. The ducks and swans seemed very happy to see me, and they swam towards me eagerly when they saw the bread crumbs. As I walked along the lakeside, I saw many beautiful pavilions and temples. Each of them had a uniquearchitectural style and was decorated with intricate carvings and paintings. I learned from my guide that these pavilions and temples had different historical backgrounds and were built during different periods of the Qing Dynasty. One of the most impressive pavilions I saw was the Longevity Pavilion. It was located at the end of the lake and was said to be the place where the emperors of the Qing Dynasty came to pray for good health and longevity. The pavilion was decorated with beautiful carvings and paintings, and its roof was covered with glistening yellow tiles. I stood there for a long time, admiring the beautyof the pavilion and imagining what it would have been liketo be an emperor living in such a magnificent place. As my trip to the Summer Palace came to an end, I felt sad to leave this beautiful place. But I also felt very happy because I had seen so many wonderful things andlearned so much about Chinese history and culture. I knew that this trip would be a cherished memory in my life, andI looked forward to visiting the Summer Palace again in the future.**颐和园之旅:小学生眼中的美丽景点**作为一名小学生,我最近去北京的颐和园游玩了一次,这是一次令人难忘的经历。

搜索克旗五下英语最美景点作文英文
搜索克旗五下英语最美景点作文英文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Most Amazing Places in Crykey Neck!Hi! My name is Jamie and I'm going to tell you about the coolest places in my town of Crykey Neck, Virginia. It's a really small town but it has some awesome spots that I love exploring with my friends on the weekends. Get ready to hear about some amazing nature!First up is Pocosin Mission Swamp. I know a swamp doesn't sound very exciting, but this place is mind-blowing! It's the biggest swamp forest in the whole world. Just picture trees towering up out of dark, murky water as far as the eye can see. The trees are covered in hanging moss that blows gently in the breeze. When you're walking along the trails, you hear all sorts of crazy nature sounds - frogs croaking, birds chirping, and even bears growling in the distance! It's a little spooky but that's part of the fun. My favorite thing is looking for the wild horses that roam around the swamp. They're so majestic and beautiful. I've seen babies galloping after their moms and it's the cutest thingever. The swamp seems like a gross, smelly place but it's actually peaceful and amazing when you experience it for yourself.Another must-see spot is the Nagspeake Caverns. These caves formed millions of years ago and they're full of incredible rock formations. As you go deeper underground, you see stalactites hanging from the ceiling like teeth and stalagmites sticking up from the ground. All the rocks have different colors like white, brown, red and even blue! It's astonishing. I remember the first time I went into the caverns - it felt like I was exploring an alien planet. Some parts of the caves are pretty tight squeezes which is fun and scary at the same time. You have to crouch down and squeeze through little gaps in the rocks. My heart was pounding so hard! The best part is the huge cavern at the very end. It's large enough to fit a high school gymnasium inside. The ceiling has to be hundreds of feet tall. And you can see every rock formation glittering under the lights. It's breathtaking and makes me feel so small.Last but definitely not least is the Great Tizzy Dunes. I'm obsessed with this place! It's a huge stretch of sandy dunes that seems to go on forever. The dunes roll up and down like ocean waves and they're sprinkled with tall grass that sways beautifully in the wind. You can spend hours just running up and down theslopes. It's such a workout but so much fun! Sometimes my friends and I have races to see who can run up the biggest dune the fastest. We always end up collapsing in the soft sand at the end, exhausted but happy. On breezy days, you can even go sandboarding which is like sledding but on the dunes instead of snow. You lie down on your belly on a board and let the wind carry you racing down the slopes. It's terrifying but gives you such an adrenaline rush! I'll never forget the time I sandboarded too fast and ended up tumbling head over heels, getting sand absolutely everywhere. After a long day at the dunes, you always come home covered in a fine layer of sand. It gets in your shoes, your clothes, your hair...even your teeth! But it's so worth it to experience the wild, windswept beauty. Those are the top three most amazing places that I love in Crykey Neck. From creepy, mossy swamps to glittering underground caverns to the sandy, windblown dunes, my town has some pretty awesome natural wonders. I feel so lucky to live somewhere with such stunning nature to explore. It makes me appreciate how diverse and magnificent our planet really is. Every time I visit these spots, I'm stuck with a sense of wonder and excitement for adventure. I can't wait to see what other mind-blowing places are out there just waiting to be discovered!Who knows what else Crykey Neck might be hiding? I'm going to keep exploring to find out.篇2The Top 5 Coolest Places to Visit in Keerqin!Hi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. This summer, my family went on an awesome trip to Keerqin in Inner Mongolia, China. It's a region with beautiful grasslands, lakes, and sandy desert areas. We visited so many amazing places that I just have to tell you all about my top 5 favorites!Singing Sand DunesThese sand dunes were honestly the most fun place we went. The dunes cover a huge area and some of them are really tall - over 100 meters high! As the wind blows over the sand, it makes a really neat "singing" or "barking" sound. It's hard to describe but so cool to hear.My little brother and I had a blast running up and sliding down the dunes over and over again. The sand is so soft and fine. We tried lying down and making sand angels too! Our parents took tons of pictures of us all covered in sand with huge smiles. Ibet the dunes look amazing at sunrise or sunset when the colors change. I wish we could have spent more time there.Hulusitai GrasslandsNext up are the vast, rolling grasslands of Hulusitai. This place felt like a scene out of a movie with bright green grass stretching as far as the eye can see. We rode horses across the grasslands which was a first for me! The guides showed us how the nomadic herders in Keerqin live in traditional yurts and tend their livestock like sheep and horses. We visited a herding family and I got to hold an adorable little lamb. The grasslands had so many pretty wildflowers blooming too. It felt like we traveled back in time to a simpler, more peaceful way of life out on the open prairie. I could breathe the freshest air!Kulun Nor LakeHave you ever seen a super salty lake? Kulun Nor is one of the saltiest in all of China! As we approached the shore, the ground felt crunchier because of all the salt. The water was a brilliant sky blue color which made the white salt around the edges look even brighter. We took a little boat ride to explore more of the lake. Our guide told us that hundreds of different bird species live there or stop over while migrating. He helped us spot rare birds like the hooded crane from the boat which was really neat. I'll never forget the still, peaceful beauty of the lake shimmering in the sunlight.Alxa DesertYou might be surprised that a desert made my list of favorite spots, but the Alxa Desert was incredible! It's not a typical sandy desert, but more of a rocky desert with rocky hills and dry riverbeds. While hiking between the hills, we saw tons of saxaul trees which are these really neat gnarled trees that can survive in the harsh desert conditions. My dad knew some neat facts about how the desert formed over millions of years as water erosion shaped the landscape. We saw Buddhist temples carved right into the sides of rocky cliffs which have been around for centuries. I felt like an explorer discovering hidden ancient ruins! I'll always remember the rugged, otherworldly beauty.Xanggan BilunteLast but definitely not least is the beautiful Xanggan Bilunte area. This place had some of the most breathtaking views with green rippling hills in the foreground and the sandy desert in the background. It felt like where the grasslands gradually transitioned into the desert. We took a fun sunset camel ride while we were there to see the changing colors as the sun went down. The warm light hitting the hills and sand created the most gorgeous golden glowing scenery. Our guide pointed out all the different desert plants and wildlife we could spot too. I just remember feeling totally peaceful while slowly swaying on the back of the camel taking it all in.Well, that's my list of Keerqin's top 5 most amazing places! From the singing sand dunes to the endless grasslands to the bright blue salty lake, everywhere we went took my breath away.I feel so lucky to have experienced the natural beauty and cultures of this unique region. It's a trip I'll never forget!篇3The Best Views in Keqi ValleyHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm going to tell you all about the coolest places I've seen near my hometown in KeqiValley. Keqi is this amazing valley in Xinjiang, which is in the very northwest part of China. It has tall mountains, green fields, rivers, and even a desert! There are so many awesome views that I could hardly pick my favorites. But I'll try my best to describe the places that made me go "Wow!"First up is Keqi Canyon. This place is jaw-droppingly beautiful. Imagine this huge, deep canyon carved into the rocky mountains, with cliffs that seem to stretch all the way up to the sky. The whole canyon is filled with layers of red, orange, yellow and white rock that make crazy patterns on the cliff sides. It's like a giant painted a massive abstract artwork using the entire canyon as his canvas! My dad took me hiking along the trails inside the canyon last summer. As we walked deeper in, the canyon walls rose higher and higher above us. I felt so tiny compared to those towering cliffs. We had to crane our necks way back just to see the tops! The best part was when we reached this sort of valley within the valley, with a shallow river winding through it. The water was the most brilliant turquoise blue. My dad said it looked that way because of minerals in the rocks. However it happened, it was breathtaking.Another magical place in Keqi Valley is the Tuyu Grape Valley. This is a long, narrow valley completely filled with grapevines! From a distance, it looks like someone spilled a giant puddle of green vines across the valley floor. Up close, you can see the grapevines are all perfectly organized into rows and rows of tangled branches and plump green and purple grapes. We stopped at one of the vineyards and the owner let me try some of the fresh grapes right off the vine. They were the juiciest, most delicious grapes I've ever tasted! My third favorite view in Keqi Valley is from Kalakulidong Canyon. This canyon is extra special because it has sections where the rock formations look like they could be ancient ruins from a lost civilization. There are arches, pillars, walls and even whole mini-cities all sculpted from the red sandstone by millions of years of wind and water. My uncle says it reminds him of the ancient Anasazi cliff dwellings in the American Southwest. As we hiked through, I couldn't help imagining what it would be like if a real ancient people had lived in these incredible rock structures. One view in Keqi Valley that's not exactly beautiful but is still super cool is Chimaor Desert. This is a real, honest-to-goodness desert right next to the valley, with nothing but miles and miles of rolling sand dunes. From far away, the dunes almost look likegiant golden waves frozen in the act of crashing down. When I was there with my cousins, the hot desert wind whipped the sand across the dunes making it look like the whole desert was slowly slithering along. We had so much fun rolling down the dune slopes and leaving trails in the flawless sand. Those are just a few of the incredible views that make Keqi Valley an amazing place to visit. I didn't even mention things like the ice-capped mountain peaks in the distance, the bright blue lakes, the fields of kaleidoscopic wildflowers, or the curious rock formations like the "Camel Rocks" that really do look like a whole camel train! Every time I explore Keqi Valley, I discover new sights that blow my mind. If you ever get a chance to come see this place, you'll definitely be wowed too. It's a true wonderland!篇4The Best Places to See in KeqingHi! My name is Xiaoming and I'm going to tell you about the coolest places to visit in my hometown, Keqing. Keqing is a small town but it has some really neat spots that I love exploring with my family and friends. Get ready, because this is going to be an awesome adventure!First up is the Bamboo Forest. This huge grove of tall, green bamboo trees looks like something out of a movie. As you walk along the winding dirt paths, the bamboo stalks rustle in the breeze. It's a bit spooky but in a fun way. My friends and I love playing hide-and-seek amongst the thick bamboo groves. Just be careful not to get lost! The forest seems to go on forever. At certain times of year, you can even spot cute little bamboo shoots poking up from the ground.Next is Mirror Lake. This big, round lake is so still and smooth, it perfectly reflects everything around it. It's almost like looking into a gigantic mirror! On sunny days, the lake seems to double the blue of the sky. My favorite time to visit is in autumn when the leaves change color. Then the surface looks like a million reds, oranges, and yellows are floating on top of the water. Some people rent little boats and row around the lake. I think that would be so peaceful and relaxing.Another awesome spot is the Mist-Shrouded Waterfalls. No matter what time of year, these powerful waterfalls are always at least partly obscured by swirling mists. It's beautifully mysterious! You'll hear the thundering roar of the water crashing down long before you see the falls themselves. As you get closer, the moisture in the air increases until finally you turn a corner andthere they are - majestic torrents of white water tumbling down craggy cliffs into frothy pools below. I love sticking my hands through the cold mist. It's so refreshing on a hot day!But my absolute favorite place in all of Keqing is the Glowing Cave. This is a deep cavern with the most incredible natural light show. Millions of tiny glowworms cling to the rocky surfaces, blinking in sync to create flickering constellations all around you. It's like walking through a starry night sky, except up is down and down is up! Our guide gave us special dimmed lights so we could see where we were going without disturbing the glowworms. The cave has tons of twists and turns to explore. Just don't get too distracted by the glittering worms - you don't want to get lost down there! Those are some of the coolest natural sights in Keqing in my opinion. But there's plenty more to see, from ancient temples to quirky roadside attractions. Keqing may be a small town, but it's packed with beauty and surprises around every corner. You just have to keep your eyes peeled for the amazing wonders hiding in plain sight. Hopefully this essay has made you want to come explore my hometown sometime. Just let me know if you need a fun local tour guide!篇5The Most Amazing Place I've Ever SeenHave you ever been to a place that was so pretty, it felt like you were in a dream? That's how I felt when my family took a trip to Sayram Lake Nature Reserve in Xinjiang, China last summer. It's one of the most gorgeous places I've ever seen! The first amazing sight was the lake itself - Sayram Lake. It's a huge salt water lake that shimmers bright blue and turquoise under the sun. The water looks almost too blue to be real! All around the edges of the lake are salt deposits that make the ground look like it's covered in fresh white snow. When I walked on it, the salt crunched under my feet. So cool! But as beautiful as the lake was, the real stunners were the mountains that surrounded it. They towered up into the sky, with snowy peaks that seemed to touch the clouds. The mountains had all these crazy shapes and ridges from years of wind and weather carving into them. Some parts looked sharp and jagged, while others had smooth, curved slopes. And the colors! The mountains had bands of reds, oranges, browns, and grays striping across them in thick, horizontal layers. It looked like a giant multi-colored layer cake! The best part was when the sun hit the mountains just right in the late afternoon. The already bright colors would glow evenbrighter, making the peaks look like they were on fire. It was breathtaking. I could have stared at those mountains all day. While the lake and mountains were wonderful from far away, they were even more incredible up close. We went on a little hike part way up one of the smaller mountains and I got to see all kinds of cool rock formations. There were these wild curved shapes in the stone that stuck out from the mountainside. Our guide called them "hoodoos" which is a funny name. To me, they looked like giant stone mushrooms or sculptures created by aliens! We also saw tons of interesting plants and wildlife that you can't find many other places. There were these cute furry critters called pika that made adorable squeaking sounds from inside the rocky areas. And there were all sorts of tough, prickly bushes and beautiful wildflowers growing out of cracks in the bare rock. Even in such a harsh, dry environment, life found a way to thrive. No description of Sayram Lake could be complete without mentioning the stunning sunsets. Oh my goohgly-eyes, those sunsets were out of this world! As the sun started to dip below the horizon, the sky exploded into the most amazing shades of pinks, purples, oranges and reds. The colors reflected perfectly off the still lake, making it look like a giant mirror. The mountainsturned deep shades of maroon and violet, almost like they were blushing. I've never seen a sunset like it anywhere else. It's like the whole landscape came alive in those moments.I feel so lucky that I got to visit such a unique and special place. Sayram Lake Nature Reserve isn't just beautiful, it's magical and otherworldly. It's the kind of place that makes you stare in wonder and decide that our world must have been created by a brilliant artist. No way could someplace that dazzling be just a random accident! Whenever I dream of breathtaking places, Sayram Lake will forever be what I picture. I hope I can go back again someday and be wowed all over again by its splendor.篇6The Best Places in KeqikouHi everyone! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I live in a really cool place called Keqikou in China. Have you ever been there? It's in a province called Yunnan and it's famous for having some of the most amazing scenery and landscapes in the whole world! I'm going to tell you all about the best places to visit in my hometown.First up is Yuelong Lake. This huge, sparkling lake is right in the heart of Keqikou and you can't miss it! The water is the bluest blue you've ever seen, like a giant swimming pool. But be careful, you're not allowed to swim there. That's because the lake is actually a collapsed volcanic crater filled with water! How cool is that? Around the edges of the lake are walking trails where you can stroll and admire the amazing views. Make sure to bring your camera because the lake looks different at different times of day as the sun moves across the sky. My favorite time is early morning when the mist is rising off the water - it's like something out of a fairytale!Next is Jian Lake, which honestly might be even prettier than Yuelong Lake! This one is a bit harder to get to as you have to drive up into the mountains, but it's totally worth it. Jian Lake is often called the "Plateau Pearl" because it's basically a circle of bright turquoise water surrounded by green mountains. The best thing about this place is you can rent little boats and row out onto the lake. Just make sure an adult is with you! My family likes to pack a picnic and spend the whole day boating, swimming, and hiking around the shores. The water is shallow around the edges so it's perfect (and safe) for kids like me.If you prefer staying on dry land, then head to Mushroom Rock. Despite the weird name, this is one seriously cool place! It's basically a huge mushroom-shaped rock formation towering over 100 feet in the air. And get this - it was formed entirely by weather and erosion over millions of years! The mushroom "stem" is made of limestone that has been dissolved away over time, while the harder volcanic "cap" on top was resistant to erosion. You can walk underneath the giant cap and marvel at how it seems to be defying gravity. According to legend, the mushroom rocks used to be boulders thrown around by a naughty god! I'm not sure if I believe that myth, but it's fun to imagine.Last but definitely not least is Tiger Leaping Gorge. Don't worry, there aren't any real tigers here anymore! Tiger Leaping Gorge is a steep, narrow canyon carved out by the rushing Golden Sand River. The gorge walls tower over 3,000 meters (that's almost 2 miles!) above the river below - they're some of the deepest gorges in the entire world. There are hiking trails running along the edge of the gorge that only the bravest people can handle. I tried it once but got too scared looking down! The coolest part though is a spot where the gorge squeezes so tight that legend says a tiger once jumped across ina single bound to escape a hunter. If I stretch my arms out as wide as I can, I still don't think I could make that jump!Whew, I'm getting tired just thinking about all those awesome places! Keqikou really is the coolest place ever. We have beautiful lakes, bizarre rock formations, dangerous canyons, and more. No matter where you go, there's jaw-dropping scenery everywhere you look. I'm so lucky I get to grow up surrounded by all this natural beauty. If you ever get a chance to visit my hometown, you absolutely have to check out these incredible spots. Just don't be surprised if your jaw hits the floor!。

经典少儿英语短文阅读:一处美丽的地方
I think each of us has a place that stands out in our memory. I have such a place that often made me happy many
years ago. But sometimes I ask myself if this place would be
as beautiful as I remember if I were to go back. Perhaps
I’ve made it beautiful in my mind.
This place is meaningful to me because it is part of the county I loved and grew up in, and part of my childhood. It
is in a town named Pikeville.
这个地方对我来说意义长远,因为它就在我所钟爱和成长的县里面,也是我童年的一部分。
它在一个叫匹克维尔的小镇里。
Pikeville has been polluted by the coal industry, but has this clean place on a hill. The hill has seven old trees, and in summer is covered with wild flowers. I used to go there to sit on a rock, with the colorful flowers all around me.
I liked to go there to lie down on the grass, listen to
the wind, kiss the flowers and watch the leaves moving. The wind seemed part of my breath, the leaves part of my song,
and the flowers part of my purity, while the trees were my friends. I used to hug them every time I went there.
The place meant so much to me because it was clean and quiet in a world of noise and dirt. I hope it is still the beautiful place that I remember.
这个地方对我来说有着非同寻常的意义,因为它是在嘈杂的尘世中的一处洁静之地。
我希望它仍然如我记忆中那般美丽。
