视频内容:两个学生在学校操场上打乒乓球,然后遇到一个同学,知道他喜欢打乒乓球,告诉他学校乒乓球队正在招募队员,邀请他加入校乒乓球队,直接引出本节课的话题:How to write an invitation letter?(课件上已经打出呈现在电子白板上)教师就可以引入本节课的内容:If you want to invite your friends to take part in an activity, do you know how to write an invitation letter?(如果你想邀请你的朋友参加某一个活动,那么应该怎么写邀请信呢?)今天,就让我们一起来学习一下。
根据电子白板上作文内容就可以看出,我们这一次要写的题材就是一封邀请信。
一般的邀请信内容都是第一人称,因为是邀请他们参加活动,所以是一般将来时。

请柬通常有一定的格式:
⑴主人的姓名(要用全称)或头衔;
⑵“request(s) the pleasure (或honor) of”,相当于汉语的“恭请”;
