1.（三人：两个顾客服务生）

Waiter: This is menu(菜单). Are you ready to order now（你准备好点餐了吗）?

Tom: Sorry, we have not decided yet.（我们还没有决定好呢）Could you please give us a little longer?（可以多给我们一点时间吗）

Waiter: No problem.

Tom: Well, I think I would like to have some fried chicken, and the tomato sausage soup first. How about you, Jones?

Jones: The same for me, please.

Waiter: Yes, sir.

Jones: What main dish （主食）would you like, Tom?

Tom: Well, I would like some salad, please.

Jones: I want a piece of pizza.

Waiter: Yes. What would you like to drink?

Jones: A cup of green tea for me. And you, Tom?

Tom: I think I should lose weight(应该减肥).

Jones: One cup of green tea and one glass of carrot juice, please. Waiter: Would you like a dessert(甜点)?

Jones: What special（特别的）kind of desserts do you have? Waiter: Lemon pie, chocolate bars and cookies.

Tom: Well, I think we will order after we finish the main course. Waiter: All right, I will bring the soup right away.

Tom &Jones : Thanks.

1.（两人：顾客服务员）

Waiter：Can I take your order now, madam?

May：Yes. What would you want?

Waiter：I am happy to recommend the fish. It tastes delicious and it’s today’s special. Our chi ef（主厨）is from the coast and loves seafood.

Today’s special is his favorite dish. So I am sure it must be best

choice.

May：It sounds wonderful. Maybe I will try it。

Waiter：Is there anything else? Maybe I could interest you in one of our fine appetizers（开胃菜）, such as the salad。

May：Not today, thanks. But I would like to know if you have any vegetable dishes。

Waiter：Yes. Here’s the menu(菜单). And what do you think you’d like to order?

May：Maybe I don’t want the fish. I think I want the green bean dish instead。

Waiter：What kind of soup would you like?

May：I’d like the egg drop soup。

Waiter：OK. Is that all?

May：Yes.

Waiter：Would you like anything to drink?

May：Just a glass of water. Thanks!

3 （两人：顾客服务员）

A: Can I help you, sir?

B: Yes, I would like a dish of noodles and some fried chicken. A: Anything to drink?

B: A bottle of cola, please.

A: OK. Small, medium or large?

B: Medium.

A: For here or to go?

B: To go.

A: Wait a moment.

A: Here you are.

B: Thanks.

B: May I have the bill?

A: Yes. Fifty yuan, please.

B: OK. Here you are.

A: Thanks. Goodbye.

4 .(四人对话：顾客两人，服务员，经理)

Waiter: Oh, yes, this way, please. What would like for dinner?

A: I’d like today’s special. What about you?

B: I prefer a seafood soup, a vegetable salad, and spaghetti.

Waiter: Just wait a moment. …

A: The soup smells very fresh, how about salad?

B: Let me have a try. Oh, no! The salad smells terrible.

A: Waiter! Waiter: Yes, sir?

A: Please fetch your manager! I’ve got something to complain! Manager: What can I do for you, sir?

B: There’s somethin g wrong with the salad. How can you serve such kind of decayed food?

Manager: Let me see. Yes. I’m sorry about it. The dish will be changed and we’ll refund you half the price.

B: All right. I hope this will not happen again.

Manager: Yes, sir. I promise you and I’m looking forward you coming next time
