中国学生写作12种高频语法错误总结及修改意见

1、从句成份缺失

Nowadays, many people believe that people who always telling the true things.

修改为:people who always telling the true things are of reliability.

点评:中国学生容易丢掉一些复合句中从句的某部分,需要加强对长复合句子的把握能力。

2、使动词当意动词用

I frustrate about the phenomenon that nobody wants to help the poor.

修改为:The phenomenon that nobody wants to help the poor frustrates me.

或:The phenomenon that nobody wants to help the poor makes me frustrated.

点评:frustrate是使动词,表示“使…沮丧”,“某事使我沮丧”应该表示为“sth. frustrates me”。类似的易用错的使动词还有disappoint,surprise,distress,prepare,adapt,remind, concern 等

3、及物动词与不及物动词不区分

My parents’ opinions usually influence to me.

Everybody laughs him when he comes.

修改为:My parents’ opinions usually influence me.

Everybody laughs at him when he comes.

点评:influence是及物动词,不需要加介词。而laugh是不及物动词,需要加介词,后面才能跟宾语。我们背一个动词需要准确了解该动词是及物还是不及物,有些动词既是及物动词,又是不及物动词,比如develop, improve等。

4、单数可数名词单独存在

Telling lie to people will make them angry.

修改为:Telling lies /a lie to people will make them angry.

点评:这是中国学生最容易犯的毛病,中文没有冠词和名词的复数形式,所以我们容易将单数可数名词单独用在句子里。解决的方法有改为复数,或加定冠词a或the。我们必须牢记的原则是“单数可数名词不能单独存在”。

5、“that”的缺失

The mouth of Xiao Qi is bigger than Xiao Fei.

修改为:The mouth of Xiao Qi is bigger than that of Xiao Fei.

点评:中文是很自由的语言,日常里我们说“小淇的嘴比小菲大”大家都能理解,如果英文这么写会吓死考官的,小淇的嘴大得都能吃人了!所以正确的是句子必须加上“that”。

6、动词的缺失

To do two or several projects at the same time.

修改为:To do two or several projects at the same time has its benefits.

点评:该句为动词不定式做主语,虽然有动词,却缺少了谓语,是严重的语法错误,我们只能猜该考生的意思是说他支持一个时间段内完成多项工作有好处。

7、动宾搭配不当

To learn knowledge, he always walks the road when he sees the book.

修改为:To acquire knowledge, he always reads a book when he walks.

点评:中文的很多动宾搭配习惯直译成英文会出现问题,比如我们错误地说走路是“walk the road”,说看书是“see a book”,学习知识是“learn knowledge”,而“走路”英文的标准说法就是walk(走),“看书”是read a book(读书),“学习知识”是acquire knowledge(获取知识)。

8、as…as…结构中形容词和副词误用

He can run as quick as I can.

修改为:He can run as quickly as I can.

点评:as后面的词的词性需要根据它所修饰的词的成分来决定,一个这样的短句子中我们容易发现,一旦写了长句子我们容易不分形容词和副词,需要注意。

9、despite与although/though混用

Despite sports can make us energetic, excessive sports may exert negative influence on us.

修改为:Although sports can make us energetic, excessive sports may exert negative influence on us.

点评:两个句子如果不用句号或分号隔开,则必须有连词,而很多同学错把介词当连词用,后面跟句子,这是必须要注意的。类似的错误还有I love studying, therefore I go to school,应该改为I love studying, and therefore I go to school. 我们需要牢记:“介词后面不能直接跟句子或从句”。

10、介词的缺失(一)

Different situation, we adopt different way.

修改为:In different situations, we adopt different policies.

点评:中文里我们有时候不说介词大家都明白意思,例如这句话:不同的情况我们采取不同的办法。这导致我们在英文表达中也漏掉介词,这样的错误在作文中出现会很明显,需要注意。

11、介词的缺失(二)

The boy whom I talked becomes a doctor.

修改为:The boy whom I talked to becomes a doctor.

点评:如果我们正常写这个句子I talked to the boy and he comes a doctor.就不会有错,但是改成从句形式就容易把不及物动词talk后面的介词to丢掉。

12、从句中主谓不一致

I, who is your classmate, will always believe you.

修改为:I, who am your classmate, will always believe you.

点评:很多同学容易忽略从句中的主谓一致性,从句中的谓语动词形式也由先行词的人称和数目来决定。
