The speeding up of life in many areas such as communicationand travel has some negative effects on people. For example, many people feel lonely in modern society. In order to drive away loneliness, some people choose to keep dogs as pets at home.

Dogs are considered the closest friends of us. However, raising dogs at home is not an easy job. First of all, many people do not get ready for the arrival of a new animal family member. They might get tired of raising their dogs after a while, and then abandon them in streets. Then these dogs may suffer from hunger and thirst. They may even hurt people. Furthermore, if they raise too many dogs at home, their dogs may disturb their neighbors.

Of course, dogs can keep people company and make people joyful. However, I don’t think people should raise dogs at home. We can set up some clubs for dog lovers in the neighborhood. They can put their dogs in the clubs and go to see their dogs whenever they can. Inside the clubs, there are experts to train and take care of these dogs. Don’t you think it’s a good idea?
