I'm going to talk about how AI and mankind can coexist, but first, we have to rethink about our human values. So let me first make a confession about my errors in my values.
It was 11 o'clock, December 16, 1991. I was about to become a father for the first time. My wife, Shen-Ling, lay in the hospital bed going through a very difficult 12-hour labor. I sat by her bedside but looked anxiously at my watch, and I knew something that she didn't. I knew that if in one hour, our child didn't come, I was going to leave her there and go back to work and make a presentation about AI to my boss, Apple's CEO. Fortunately, my daughter was born at 11:30 --那时是1991年12月16日的11时。

李开复的励志演讲(Li Kaifu's inspirational speech)Li Kaifu delivered a speech.NetEase reading news in the afternoon of September 18th, Li Kaifu's autobiography "the world is different because of you" held in Beijing, the world's first hairstyle, at the meeting, Li Kaifu made a wonderful speech. NetEase read as an exclusive live media to witness this important event. The highlights of the speech are as follows:Behind autobiography: "restore" is "big fat man""Thank you, all the media friends, today is very pleased to have this opportunity to share with you this book is how to form, which was about what kind of story, why I expect it will be what I wrote the book the most influential book? In fact, you may think that this is a new "autobiography, actually in my family there has been another person wrote an autobiography, today I bring, this is my daughter's biography, she is 13 years old this year, when she wrote this autobiography at the age of 7, when she wrote this this book, I asked her, I said you're 7 years old, what to write an autobiography? When I was 70 years old, I wrote my autobiography. She said when I was 70, I couldn't remember what happened to me when I was 7 years old. By the timeI was 70 years old, I'd written 10 books, and I wrote one every7 years. Open your age is not so big, why write an autobiography? Answer with my daughter, afraid of forgetting later. To tell you the truth, how did this book come from? In fact, I also wrote three books, but also have quite a best-selling book, but always see, I see some questions on the Internet, saidLi Kaifu wrote the book of love I want to have certain who copy a copy, a lot of people want to copy others read Li Kaifu book, why not read to copy? There are many reasons, one of which may be written relatively speaking education, not enough to describe the story is vivid, but more is such a person, ask for help, diligence, values, integrity and so on. Though it's all my mind and what I want to do to help Chinese students grow up, it's probably not the best way to describe it. There are many students may feel that the opening of your book is good, but I still love to read the story in over 5 pages is a, see a good story, whether I should write a book in a more readable and more stories, so that everyone wants to read, instead of copying others think? Very coincidentally, I met Miss Fan Haitao a year ago, when she asked whether she wanted to write an autobiography Let me in the mind of precipitation for many years can write more vivid book work together, so I think if writing a book really very lively, a very interesting story, let us read cannot let go, that's not what I could do as a writer, I see the Miss Fan wrote at the time, I see she has this ability, I work with her, in the past more than a year after many times of interview, telephone lines, timely communication with each other, and spent a lot of effort to make this book out, I think I in this book should be spent hundreds of hours, the text is very good, miss fan's contribution, but the inside of the story, there are many historical things, I step out of the Department of mining, in the past a lot of books, students sign the name and email name is almost I did a lot of digging, and I felt my daughter was right. Writing an autobiography at the age of 7 didn't take so much effort to write every 7 years. If I spend 200 hours writing this book, Miss Fan may have spent 2000 hours, and when you read it, you will find that this is really a book writtenwith heart, a very readable book.I believe that many of the stories, as just said on the video is we will be more interesting, never before, for example, you will find that the growth time from when I was little, I was a "little emperor" that some people may know, but I was a "big boy" there are collections of photos in the two editors forced to put in, you can know exactly how fat, in addition you will see that I can grow up in a very warm and decentralization of the family, 5 years old when my parents let me decide on the primary school,It's this kind of environment that grows up, and I have today to be a confident, re selected person.Successful leadership: I don't agree with you, but I support youYou will see me in what is one of the world's most outstanding university, a best get a well-rounded education in college, not only learned skills, philosophy, literature, art, music by Columbia University General Education Toronto Xuan test, in the era with a lot of space to make your own choices, but also a lot to learn a method. You'll also see my own love story when I graduated from college.A doctoral student in this section, you will see as father Dr. teacher, he taught me this is one of the most important life, I don't agree with you, but I support you. This sentence is not only the expression of mind, but also become the most important one of my future success leadership. It's a way of toleratingother people's different perspectives and looking at the world from a different angle, and you'll see this book again and again showing how my mentor treats me and how I treat my employees. You will see in the era of apple, a very great company, smart people, but lost his soul, the setbacks in this environment, need another year to fire workers, so that you can better understand that I worship the spiritual leader, he returned to apple to do what things.Century lawsuit: dare to change, tolerate, accept wisdom, distinguishYou will see my life very painful theft, in SGI, finally sell the company caused 100 people out of work, let me into the emotional depression, after joining Microsoft, how to make the most of people trying to do the impossible, 1998 creation of world-class research institution of Asia's most good, thank you very much for the book Ling Zhijun followed the wisdom which has a very good description here, thank you very much Mr. Ling Zhijun I made reference to "follow" the book of wisdom. At Microsoft, everyone read the book, except in the academy. After I returned to the headquarters, in the great software company in great software empire inside I saw what, what has been learned, you will see the tears of Bill Gates's life the most sad is how cause, you will see how to make such Microsoft Corp aviation performance, can make tens of thousands of people together with this software, you will see see the internal problems in the process, I will finally see the left Microsoft lawsuit century, I am very grateful to this lawsuit, although it is two months of my life is the most painful, after the lapse of 4 years after I review I think this lawsuit brought me a tough,no fear, no more than anything in this case give me more harm and fear, it gives me confidence, I am confident that with the courage to change the things I can, for Huailai to accept the things I cannot change Things, with wisdom to distinguish the difference between the two, really should be my motto, but also these three words with me out of the confusion of the lawsuit, and finally won the lawsuit.I see this case, Microsoft offered me 30 thousand emails, I saw my friend in difficult circumstances to support me, I also saw some once considered to be a friend, but I'm helping a friend for many years, betrayal in such an environment, let me feel the hand warm and very warm, including my family and friends including Mr. Xu Xiaoping for me at the time of the support, also let me see the situation very cruel life, the most important thing is that I feel at this time I really look like a touchstone like who is my true friend, let me really understand things, all the bad things happened in this period of time, in fact, should I accept it. I don't want to say who is good or who is bad. I hope you read very true description of this lawsuit. You will see how this lawsuit affects my mood and how to help me grow up Looking back today is really probably one of the biggest things I've ever done to help me in this life, and I've learned all about it.Leave the message: Google China youth pays attention to the cultivation of ability and innovationYou can also see my Google to this great company around smart people to learn how to make innovation inside the Internet, you can also see how the Internet era leader, a miracle within 10years to 1 billion market capitalization of the company is how to make the result? You'll see more about the development of Google in China, including the good things we've done, including the challenges and setbacks we've had.In this book you will see the last innovation works, I make such a big decision in what kind of environment, leaving the care of Google, leaving the greatest company in the world, and even can be said to be a I will not use any position to exchange my once in Google has a position, but I still leave it gave up this occupation career, and determination to do innovation works, what is the innovation works? Why does it go so deep into my heart? Have I made such a big choice? You'll see it in this book. This is the book that tells a variety of stories, but I think it's more important to go back to why you're writing this book I wrote this book and my three book, its purpose is to help the China young students, we hope that this cooperation and after Miss Fan make the book more readable, more interesting, more vivid, actually its purpose and my first three books is a kind of therefore, I sincerely hope that, when I read China parents in the United States at the age of 11 to the United States to grow up, can help them decide whether his children should do a little Chinese students, parents read to my parents in 1960 to my power to let me grow up, I want to let them know that is not a child grow up after the 90, 00 after the decentralization to them, cultivate their abilities, know that they have chosen the right.I also hope that we see, especially students to see some success and success is not accidental, because I have the courage tochoose, because I follow your heart, because I am willing to give up all sorts of how I make a decision, do what kind of decision, I hope that we see is not only a story, but from which you can get some ideas for his help. You see I encountered setbacks or whether it is legal to sell their companies, I hope these young students understand the frustration is not punishment is the best oxygen to help us learn growth points, I also hope that more state-owned enterprises hope to create a world brand, hoping to put the company into the world China, when their employees reading this book will also see the apple, Microsoft, Google these great companies how to get their position today is great, it can help to inspire them to brand to the world.Although the inside story is very lively, relaxed and interesting, but I hope the readers after reading on their own or to help the people around him, finally I want to say this book and I used as a book, I will donate all royalties, thank you.。

1.创新实践者——What matters is not innovation , but useful innovation。

Don’t shift eyeballs; don’t look in corner
Don’t look too much at computer screen or notes
Look at people’s faces (not eyes)
