二、课程简介(Course Descriptions)

(一)课程开设的意义、作用和地位significance of this course

本课程是汉语言文学专业的专业选修课,是现代汉语和古代汉语的后续课。近代汉语是指晚唐五代至明清时期的汉语。它由古代汉语发展而来,是现代汉语的直接源头。

本课程以这一时期的汉语为研究对象,通过与古代汉语和现代汉语的比较,揭示其特殊的语言现象,并探究其内在的发展规律。从研究的角度看,这是一个有待深入探究的领域,对于认识汉语规律以及古今汉语的发展演变具有重要的价值;从实用的角度看,了解近代汉语研究成果,有利于解读这一时期的白话文献,就汉语学习说是沟通古代汉语和现代汉语两门课程的重要桥梁。

This course is a professional elective of Chinese language and literature program, and it is the

continuant course of modern Chinese and ancient Chinese. Late ancient Chinese, which refers to

Chinese from the Late Tang and Five Dynasties, evolves from ancient Chinese and serves as the

direct source of contemporary Chinese. This course makes Chinese in this period as its research

object, reveals its specific linguistic phenomena, and explores into its inner regular pattern. From

the perspective of research, this course is of great significance to the learning of Chinese language

pattern and its evolvement through history. From a practical perspective, the knowledge of

research findings of late ancient Chinese is conducive to understanding the vernacular documents

in this period. And from the perspective of language learning, this course serves as a bridge

between ancient Chinese and contemporary Chinese.

(二)教学目的任务和要求teaching aims, tasks and requirements

本课程讲授近代汉语语法中不同于古代汉语和现代汉语的一些语言现象。从大量的具体实例入手,对晚唐五代至明清时期的语言现象进行深入细致分析,从而说明其特殊规律,以提高学生对汉语的全面认识,增加对近代汉语的理解能力。

This course deals with the specific language phenomena of late ancient Chinese grammar which is different from both ancient Chinese and contemporary Chinese. Through illustrating by a large amount of examples, it makes a deep analysis of the language phenomena from the Late Tang and Five Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and explains some special language patterns, so as to enhance students’ ability of learning and understanding late ancient Chinese.
