T raining Concept for E85 Electrical Systems, Abridged Version Dear T rainer,

The present training concept is very extensive. It reflects the many new developments on the

BMW E85.

Those innovations can, as you will appreciate, be more effectively explained within a proper technical environment with the active participation of the course trainees.

The aim of the initial introductory course will be to deliver the essential information for the Service department as quickly as possible. Y ou will probably have only two training days for this purpose. That amount of time will be insufficient to deliver the entire course content.

For that reason we are providing an abridged version of each training module in which we highlight the content components that are absolutely essential.

In this concept you will find:

A)A list of the completely new components and their functions, with details of the relevant sections

of the training course in the full Trainer's Guide and the associated learning objectives.

B)Details of the components/functions fitted on previous models but now modified/improved. They

are only briefly referred to in the presentation of the overall system configuration. Here too, details of the relevant sections of the training course and the learning objectives are included.

Using that information, you can put together your own training concept to suit the individual requirements of your particular market.

In future courses on the E85, which you will undoubtedly be presenting after the launch phase of the E85, you should return to the full training concepts for the individual modules in order to ensure that effective training is provided.
