雅思作文教育类范文

雅思作文教育类范文Education is a topic that has been widely discussed and debated in recent years. Some people believe thattraditional education is still the best way to educate young people, while others argue that modern education is more effective. In my opinion, both traditional and modern education have their own advantages and disadvantages, and a combination of the two is the best way to educate young people. On the one hand, traditional education has been around for centuries and has proven to be effective in educating young people. It focuses on teaching students the basic skills and knowledge they need to succeed in life, such as reading, writing, and arithmetic. Traditional education also emphasizes the importance of discipline and hard work, which are essential qualities for success in any field. In addition, traditional education often takes place in a structured environment, such as a classroom, which can help students stay focused and engaged in their studies. On the other hand, modern education has its own set of advantages. Modern education places a greater emphasis on critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which are essential for success in the 21st century. It also uses technology to enhance the learning experience, such as interactive whiteboards and online resources. In addition, modern education often takes a more personalized approach to learning, allowing students to pursue their own interests and passions. In conclusion, both traditional and modern education have their own strengths and weaknesses, and a combination of the two is the best way to educate young people. By combining the basic skills and knowledge of traditional education with the critical thinking and problem-solving skills of modern education, we can provide young people with a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in the 21st century.。

What are the disadvantages of the evaluating method by students?Give an example of your experience in preparing the college entrance examination. Since it is approaching the college entrance examination this year, best luck to high school examinees。

范例1:In terms of recent incidents in physical punishment and ill-treatment as well as academiccheating occurred in schools, the fierce debate on what is good education is arisen recently. As far as I am concerned, advantageous education encourages the student to think independently and critically, which also empowers the student to evaluate the teachers performance openly, as opposed to force-feeds students and renders them capable only of spitting back predigested ideas. Moreover, a healthy and stimulatingeducational environment should be ensured, which allows students to enjoy the staying in study and interactions among classmates and teachers. In China, hope the education system improve gradually and in good direction。

As someone who has received a good education, I can attest to its importance in shaping my future and providing me with opportunities that I may not have had otherwise. One of the most significant benefits of education is the ability to develop critical thinking skills. By learning about different subjects and cultures, we can gain a betterunderstanding of the world around us and become more empathetic and open-minded individuals. For example, I took a course on African history in college, and it completely changed my perspective on the continent and its people. Finally, education can provide us with the tools we need to achieve our goals and pursue our passions. If so, why?At the tender age of 13 or 14, children are selected and pushed into examination classes which will effectively decide their futures. Then , at the age in their lives when most of them are least receptive to learning, they are force to sit exams where the penalties for failure are as final as the death sentence. The lives of secondary school children are ruled by these exams in this country. Some schools do offer a wide range of interesting subjects, but only for those who have already been labeled as failures. So parents continue to push, pull, threaten and force their children through exams, or search anxiously for schools with “high standards” to do the pushing and forcing for them, because this is what our universities demand.Talking about why I chose this major, I think the reasons are pretty simple. The priority reason is, you know, I am a big fan of it. I think doing it can make me stand a bigger chance of grabbing an ideal job after I graduate. Another reason pops into my head if, I think , doing this major can make exert my potential into full play. One more reason Ican think of is I can get a huge sense of satisfaction and achievement every time when I get some assignments done well.I think there are quite lots of difficulties in studying English. The first difficulty jumps into my mind is the way English people talk is totally different from the way we Chinese talk. Another difficulty I can think of is the grammars are too complicated. One more difficulty pops into my head is “ culture shock” might be a problem as well. And you know, to those guys who are not that linguistically-talented, I think learning English is nothing but a pain in the neck.Learning English can always make my day. In terms of any suggestion on how to learn English, I think as opinion varies a lot from people to people, so do ways of learning English. You know, some guys think reading, reciting, writing and listening to tapes without taking any break are the coolest way to learn English, but I believe that would ruin your passion towards English. Anyway, there is no way for me to study like that. Because I will be getting bored and feeling frustrated. And it usually ends up that I never touch any thing about English any more. So when it comes to my way of learning English, I prefer to learn it in an active way. Say, hanging out with foreigners and imitating the way they talk or imitating it from some original English movies, sitcoms and so on…Describe an educational visit that you made when you were in school. You should say:where you wentwho you went withwhat you did thereand explain what you learned on this trip.范文:When we visited Hong Kong during a winter holiday, my school teachers took us to the world famous Hong Kong Ocean Park. That was my first time to see so many live sea animals and got plenty of life experiencenot available on any of my textbooks. The Ocean Park was very large indeed, and there was much to see inside. Nearly 3,000 fish of 280 breeds, in different colors and shapes were exhibitedthere. On the first floor, I was amazed by seeing such a big fish jar. As I took a closer look, I discovered really colorful fish inside, like a group of lovely little fairies. The fish were of all breeds, majorityof them I could not name.I told my teacher that I wanted to see dolphins and sea lions, as I heard sea lions and dolphins in the Ocean Park were very lovely. We were led to the Dolphin Study where dolphins show how they learn from human beings. Dolphinsare lively creatures fond of making friends with people. They are the most intelligent undersea mammal. I really learned a lot that day. For example I learned that dolphins are good divers. They don't have gill, so they store much oxygen in their blood and muscle. The dolphins we saw were from one family; they stayed together all day long and would not separate, and accompanied each other all the time. I found that animals and human beings had so muchin common. That trip was fun and educational. From my personal experience, I believe field trips are essential in educating students in an all-around way.Question:What change do you foresee in the next 50 years?将来50年教育会发生什么变化?如何答”将来” 题目Wow. 50 years is such a long time.I don’t even know if I will still be around in half a century’s time.So this question is kind of challenging.Nobody knows for sure what’s gonna happen in the future, right?because the future is unpredictable. But, let me try to answer this question.1. Education will be a social welfare without any charges.Maybe this is just a Utopian Dream. But I strongly believe, as our society moves forward, education will eventually become a social benefit. Families will not have to pay for education of the kids, because when the kids receive good education, the society will be benefited as it receives a continual w ave of talents. It’s only fair that the society take out some of the tax revenue and use it on education for young people. Since tuition is no longer a problem, more and more people can finally all go to school. This is what I call “educational equality”.2. Education will become less time-consuming.One day I suddenly realized that each and everyone of us spend 20 years or so on education. 20 years! That’s crazy. Those years are probably the best time in our lives. So if you ask me what change do I wan t to see happen in 50 years time, I’d like to see education short. I believe education can become so efficient and well-designed that we can finish our education from ABC to master’s degree in just 10 years time. So by the time a person is 16, he or she will be ready to start living.Education will become a technical evolution. 技术的进化Maybe I’ve seen too many science fiction movies, but I believe science and technology will revolutionize the way we receive education. And this will happen during the next 50 years. You’ll see! We can put all the knowledge of human kind into little computer chips, and we can open a socket to our, I don’t know, brain. So every time we want to use a particular knowledge, we just plug it in, you know, like a USB disk. Wouldn’t that be cool?3. Science and technology will make it possible for all countries to share education resources. We often say that the world is flat now. What makes it flat? Science and technology, tele-communication, especially internet. So I wouldn’t be crazy to imagine that in the future 50 years, with the help of internet video conferencing, we can bring the image of a professor of Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, you name it, into the classrooms in China. Therefore, internationally famous professors and ideas can be shared globally. Question:What role do you think extracurricular activities play in education?课余活动对教育起什么作用?Answer:By participating in extracurricular activities, a person can expand his or her social circle. If you play basketball, you can meet people of other grades from other majors and you can become friends on and off court. So these after-class activities really help us to know more people. If you are an activity organizer, you can develop many skills and abilities that you can never learn in a classroom. These techniques include public speaking ability, people skills, and organizational skills. These skills will continue to be beneficial to you after you graduate.College is a place where we meet life, both academically and leisurely. Extracurricular activities show us possibilities of entertainment. And if you participate in these activities, you can find a life-long hobby that you can enjoy for the rest of your life. I fell in love with basketball when I was in college, and it has been a constant pleasure in my spare time.In a sense, doing extracurricular activities can change your personality. Maybe you’re an introvert person, and now you’re extrovert. We say personality decides your fate. See? Do you still deny that extracurricular activities play an positively important role in education? (193 words)。

(If no):I guess I probably wouldnt say so, no, mainly because its a relatively new major in China, and as far as I know, there are not that many universities in China which offer this course.我猜我可能不会这么说,不,主要是由于这个专业在中国相对较新,据我所知,在中国没有那么多高校开设这个课程。

Is your subject very challenging (or difficult) to study?(If yes):Yeah, Id say it is quite challenging, mainly because of the huge workload we get. So for example, we’re given a considerable amount of coursework to do, which always requires a ton of background reading!是的,我认为这很有挑战性,主要是由于我们的工作量很大。

雅思口语第三阶段问题与答案(3)

雅思口语第三阶段问题与答案(3)

31. What do you think the goal of an education should be and tell me why you feel that way?Education should really be a time where you learn new ways of thinking and are challenged to go beyond what you know. But if I were to choose between learning useful things versus learning for enjoyment, I would definitely choose learning for enjoyment. I don't mean just learning when I feel like it. Rather, I mean studying things that interest me. If I am truly interested in a subject, I will really try harder to learn it. I think the goals of education should also be to produce a well-rounded person, I mean a person who is not just good in one or two areas but a person who can show knowledge in quite few areas.32. What do you think is important in a friend? That's an interesting question because I don't have that many strict standards. I prefer having a real variety of friends. I think it's important just to want to be my friend in a sincere way.Friendship is extremely important to me. It's like being brothers or sisters, but even more than 'that. I mean, I would do nearly anything for my friend, and I'd expect that he'd do the same for me. If he didn't help me when I was in need, then I would not consider him a good friend. I have a lot of different kinds of friends and there's not really just one type of friend that I am friends with. What qualities do you think a good journalist needs? A journalist must be responsible to his or her readers. Not only must a journalist be quick to react in any circumstance, but also he/she must always remember to uncover the real facts to the reader.33. What qualities do you think a good teacher needs?I think the basic qualities involve two things. First the teacher must understand the process of learning and the ways to make learning more efficient and effective. I also think that a teacher must have a good personality that motivates students to learn.I don't think its necessary for a teacher to have a perfect personality but at least they must show a passion for what they are teaching. The moment the students sense that the teacher just doesn't care about the subject then they also lose their enthusiasm for it. Patience is a key quality too because if there is no patience than students will be ignored.34. What do you think the goal of travelling should be?The goal of travelling? , Hmm. .. I've never thought about that before. I guess the goal of travelling should be to enjoy yourself. For me, I think the goal I usually have is to have an experience that sticks in my mind for a long time and to give me a wider understanding of the world. I like to feel good about visiting a place and I like to think that the place made me a better person.I think often too many people travel just so that they feel they are adventurous and so they can boast to all their friends about all the places they have seen. But I think it is more important to truly relax and take your time exploring things without having to follow some rushed plan of things to see.35. How should people be promoted at work? Through experience or performance? This is a very big issue in a lot of companies. I'm not sure how I feel about this issue because I think both experience and performance is important. I mean if you've been working for a long time I think it's natural that you would expect better treatment. On the other hand, I don't think that it's right that experienced people should put little care into their job just because they think that their jobs are well protected because of seniority. In my opinion people should be promoted based on a combination of experience and performance. If they do not perform they may be demoted or even laid off, but if they do perform they will be promoted. Those people who perform well but have little experience should be promoted but not too high because this will only discourage those people who have worked in a company for a long time.36. What qualities do you think are important for a successful or good film? That's difficult to say. A good film doesn't have to follow a certain formula. I think there are all kinds of good films and they don't have to be a certain style. I think the basic qualities are commitment and professional acting. I can't stand those actors who start in movies with little concern about how to make their characters seem like real people. I think that the cinematography is quite important because without it you are just presenting images without concern for the meaning they convey. If there is no concern for the way it is shot then you might as well read a book, because the main features of films that make it pleasing are its setting and artistic filming. These days, I think the one criteria for a successful film seems to be just good special effects, but I don't care much about that.37. What do you consider to be a good way to spend time with friends?I think the best way to spend time with friends is to go hiking and camping with them. You know, when you go travelling with them you may get in many disputes because you never know what your friend really wants to do. Travelling can create conflict, and sometimes you rarely have a moment just to sit down and chat with your friend. In my view, it's better to go camping because when you're camping you are not in any rush to go somewhere and there are fewer choices. You can just enjoy what you're doing. On the other hand, you should make sure you're well organised when camping or you could have fights about what you should have done to prepare.38. How do you define a good quality life? This is just my opinion, but I think a good quality life involves no fear or thought that you are in danger, or being unfairly treated. I think it's a life where there are no serious health risks and there are opportunities to enjoy yourself without feeling worried about the consequences. I mean, if you're worried about the pollution in the water or you are worried about the crime in an area then it doesn't matter how rich you are because you have no opportunity to enjoy your surroundings. A good quality life can probably be found anywhere in the world but I think the conditions in some places make it easier than other places.39. What is your standard of a good place to visit?I think the place should first have opportunities to see something that you haven't seen very often. Also I think there should be some reasonable facilities there for you to enjoy. For example, there should be, at least, some decent roads to get in and outand some decent place to see. I think also that the place should be relatively safe and clean. I think also it should offer some opportunities to see things without getting charged for everything. I mean there are just too many places that charge you for every step you take and I think this is wrong because good places shouldn't be just anther kind of tourist trap.40. What is your standard of success? In my mind, success mean reaching the goals that you have for yourself, and it means you have achieved something that is not only good for yourself, but also good for others. I mean, if you have lots of money that doesn't necessarily mean you are a success. It could mean that this money just meant that you were lucky or you just happened to have the right talents. True success means meeting your goals, and if your goals just happen to be raising a happy family, well I think that also makes you a success.Making Predictions41. What do you think of the future of China if China keeps an open policy?I think China's future is very promising. The open policy has brought many benefits to the Chinese. For example, our standard of living has increased, China has become a stronger nation economically, and we've learned a lot about the rest of the world. China needs to continue with an open policy in order for us to gain strength and respect as a world-class nation. 42. Do you foresee there being more advertisements in the future?Yes, I believe so. We are getting more and more foreign advertisement, and as more investments are coming in, I think this is something unavoidable. The concept of advertising on TV, for example, is just beginning to catch on among the bigger companies and as more and more private businesses grow and increase their advertising budgets they may give TV a chance. Also, I think you'll see more and more advertising agencies start up in China that will specialize in making good advertisements and they will be in hot demand in the next few years.43. How will the Internet change people's buying habits do you think, in the future?I think the change will be incredible in the future. People rely so much on the Internet nowadays that they spend a lot of their time in front of the computer. More and more people are buying things over the Internet, and I think this trend will continue in the future. People will not get out of their houses, they'll just shop from the home. The key challenge before this happens is that the stores must find a good way of delivering things at a low cost. This has been the biggest problem in the past for a lot of e-commerce type companies but I have a feeling they'll become more skilled at it in the future.44. Do you think that the Internet is going to change the way we get news?Well, already we are seeing that. I get my latest news from the Internet. And I believe this will be the trend for the future if more and more people get wired up with the Internet. I'm not sure in the future whether newspapers will survive if more people get the news from the Internet. I think the main way it'll change the way we get news is that we will get the events immediately. We can now get a variety of sources. Also, people will become more sophisticated about the things that are happening around the world and they will be able to make up their own minds about issues.45. Can you imagine what transportation will be like in the future?I think it will be fuelled by different energy sources because there is just no way that we can continue with petroleum for much longer. So I think that when new energy sources come out, you'll see different designed transportation. I also predict that some transportation will begin to use the air more often just for short heights because I think that the road systems cannot always be forever maintained and repaired. We need to find other ways, so I imagine our cars will probably be flying and maybe there will be flying bicycles too.46. What would life be like without music? What would life be without music? That's tough to say. I mean we just take it for granted that we'll always have music but I guess if there wasn't any music we'd suffer in a very big way because we need music to create some higher form of pleasure. We need music to get in touch with some of our deeper emotions. If I had no music, I'm sure I'd go crazy because music relaxes me and it's a great way to hear some form of communication, which I might not have time for if I didn't put on a song or two.47. Do you think the traffic problem will get better or worse in the future?Well, I can't predict with any certainty but I have a feeling it will. It may be that the problem will get worse before it gets any better, but I think that there will be a time when something is actually done to tackle the problem. My feeling is that part of the problem will be solved when we actually start to regulate the number of cars on the roads. I think also that once the subway system is improved and can carry people to places they never used to be able to go, then the problem will also get a bit better.48. Do you feel optimistic that environmental problems will be solved in the future?I guess you could say I'm optimistic, but only in the long term. I think it will, but only when people begin to realize that there's an actual crisis out there. I remember when it seemed that everyone was talking about the issue. Now a lot of people are just saying, "well, nothing can really be done about the problem." I think that people could do something about it if they really wanted to but the problem is that they keep delaying the solutions so I think when they realize they cannot delay the process any more then they will actually start doing something concrete about it.49. How do you imagine people's lifestyles will change in the future?I think there will be some big lifestyle changes in the future. I think our work life will change a lot so that we'll be mixing our work and free time more and probably make more of our own choices about when to work and when not to work. I think also that children will become more and more independent and also sophisticated and they will be shouldering more and more of the housework, as a growing number of households have two income earners. I think we'll also be experiencing more stressand more competition and I think we'll probably be making more and more friends from distant places.。

雅思口语话题:教育变化

雅思口语话题:教育变化Question:What changes took place in education in your country over the past decade?过去十年,你所在的国家教育发生了怎样的变化?Answer:Well, everything is changing, so is education. The most important change that took place over the past decade is this.1. increased admissionIt seems to me that more and more people are now able to go to college while in the past the competition was much stronger.College admission is opening up, and this is a direct result of the state policy. The consequence is that many students who have not reached the level of university education are also allowed to sit in the college classroom, therefore the quality of education has been declining.2. master’s degree / overseas educationIt is because this problem that an increasing number of people are pursuing more education after college graduation. These options include master’s program and possibly overseas education, just like what I’m doing right now. We’re fed up with the boring routine life in college, and we’re fighting for a better future for ourselves.3. increased tuitionUnfortunately, not every child would have the opportunity to continue their education after college. Why? Simply because going to school is so costly. The tuition has been almost tripled over the past decade and this presented serious financial pressure that some families cannot handle. Sosome of my classmates have to drop out just because their families ran short of money. Human tragedy! I’m lucky. My mom and dad are making enough money, so I can even go to college in Canada. But I’m not taking this for granted, I’ll be eternally grateful to them.4. Private training institutionWherever there’s need, there’s a solution. As more families realized the importance of making education investment in their kids, training demands has been soaring over the past 10 years. Private training institutions such as New Oriental flourished. So as long as you want you will always find a place to study and a class schedule that fits you. Opportunities for personal improvement are many.Question:What change do you foresee in the next 50 years?将来50年教育会发生什么变化?如何答”将来” 题目Wow. 50 years is such a long time.I don’t even know if I will still be around in half a century’s time.So this question is kind of challenging.Nobody knows for sure what’s gonna happen in the future, right, because the future is unpredictable. But, let me try to answer this question.1.
