Rehearsal
Rehearsal is a vital part of preparation. You should leave time to practise your presentation two or three times. This will have the following benefits:
Afterwards, you will be invited to
take a self-assessment test and ask questions.
Preparation
Can you name the 3 most important things when giving any presentation?
Content
"What should I say?" Now you must decide exactly what you want to say. First, you should brainstorm your ideas. You will no doubt discover many ideas that you want to include in your presentation. But you must be selective. You should include only information that is relevant to your audience and your objective. You should exclude all other ideas. You also need to create a title for your presentation (if you have not already been given a title). The title will help you to focus on the subject. And you will prepare your visual aids, if you have decided to use them. But remember, in general, less is better than more (a little is better than a lot). You can always give additional information during the questions after the presentation.

Emojis are those cute little faces and symbols that we use to show our emotions in texts or social media posts. Some people think that using emojis inessays is not professional or academic, but I think they can actually add some fun and personality to our writing.First of all, emojis can help to convey emotions that are sometimes difficult to express in words. For example, if you are writing a story and you want to show that a character is feeling happy or sad, you can use a smiley face or a crying face emoji to help the reader understand the character's feelings. Emojis can also make your writing more engaging and interesting to read, as they break up the text and add visual appeal.Secondly, emojis can help to clarify your tone and attitude in a written piece. For example, if you are writing a persuasive essay and you want to make a point more emphatically, you can use a thumbs up emoji or a fire emoji to show that you are confident in your argument. On the other hand, if you are writing a reflective piece and you want to show that you are feeling contemplative or thoughtful, you can use a thinking face emoji to convey your mood. However, it is important to use emojis in moderation and only when they are appropriate to the context of your writing. You don't want to overuse emojis or use them in a way that distracts from your main message. It is also important to consider your audience and the level of formality required inyour writing. In academic essays or formal letters, it may be best to avoid using emojis altogether. In conclusion, writing emojis in high school English essays can be a fun and creative way to enhance your writing and express your emotions. Just remember to use them mindfully and considerately, and they can be a valuable addition to your writing toolbox. So go ahead and sprinkle some emojis in your essays, and watch your words come to life! Thank you for listening to my presentation.篇6Hello everyone! Today I want to talk about emojis. Before I start my presentation, let’s see some pictures;.Yes, thesepictures lead us into my topic today: To be good netizens.Nowadays we have stepped in a totally new age, in which we mainly receive the information from the internet. And we can see,the netizen population is growing fast the last decade. By 2000 it was just several millions of netizens in china but now, ten years later, we have more than 50 million. This number increased so fast that we have no time for preparing, so this lead to the situation that I show you before. And why that situation is so bad, let’s look at this picture. We can see, besides the large number, we have another problem: most of the netizens are young people; in other words, the next generation. Such a bad internet environment can really influence their future, which means: influence our nation’s future. And although there is many benefits, we should first know whether our movement helps (even if just help a tiny little.)These are four big events which we netizens make many contributions: the event of south china tiger, the 2008 Olympic, the train event, and the event of Extracting bile from live bears. With our effort, a lot more people know these four events and that really helped to force the government to deal with it more properly. So we now know a good harmonious environment is important and we do can take actions to help create it. So why do we move right now. There are several type of people on the internet, you can see it on the screen~ and what we should do is not just only focus on attaining knowledge, but also communication for information . And of course, we should have our own thoughts, to help others, to create good things by ourselves. So how can we become a good netizen, here are some tips. And I just don’t read it again. Then here are some examples of our school’s effort to create a good internet environment. And these examples are far form enough, to create a good environment, there is a long way to go.。

PresentationHello everyone. Today I am going to make a presentation about emojis. They are actual images. I am sure we are all familiar with them. The emojis are used within practically every social media platform. It could be a simple, yellow, smiley face; or something like a flower; or even a cup of coffee……Below, let’s have a look at the history and origin of emojis. The emoji was first born in japan. It’s a n interesting place. They have their own trend and styl es that other countries don’t always understand, but that’s kinda what makes them special. Emoji are one of those things that started as a trend in japan. And took a bit time for the rest of the world to catch on to. In the late 90s, there was a huge trend of Japanese mobile phone users sending image-based messages to each other. In fact, it was such a large trend that Japanese mobile phone companies saw a market and a way to give their customers more of what they wanted. So they attempted to develop ways to incorporate image based messages within their phones to appeal to their customers. A man who goes by the name of shigetake kurria realized that with text message there was the missing element of human emotion, that couldn’t exactly be expressed with letters and numbers. He took inspiration from the weather reports that he would see that use the sun to communicate good weather and the cartoons that he read that will something use symbols to express a character’s emotion without using text. He created an initial set of 176 symbols that were very basic due to technology limitations. But allowed for user to express thing in visual way that basic t ext couldn’t. He called his new creation “emoji”, with E meaning character and moji meaning character and released them in 1999. His images quickly become a hit and begin to be heavily used by Japanese mobile phone in the following year, creating a trend in the country. Now there are as many as over 1800 emoji that are supported on various platforms. Emojis have now become engrained within our culture for better or worse. And of course, no popular trend would be complete without it’s own special holiday. The world emoji day falls on July 17th because the calendar emoji in the apple set of emojis shows the data July 17th. So naturally that become the holiday, complete with its own official anthem. Like this. I think it's very funny. Many of us use them in our daily lives. So, what do people use them for? When we talk, a huge amount of meaning is conveyed through facial expressions, gestures and tone of voice. And this can get lost in written language particularly as it becomes more colloquial. emoji is the non-verbal cue-like facial expression and enable us to express emotion and empathy in digital communication. For example, if I send a text to my friend saying: I’m gonna kill you for cheating me. It sounds super creepy and scary, but if I add an emoji at the end of the text, it’s so cute. All right? So, I think emojis are a vital tool for communication.By consulting web of science, I found an interesting survey report. Their data set was originally collected by the Kika Emoji keyboard. They constructed a data set that covers 3.88 million active users from 212 countries and regions and their 427million messages from September 1 to September 30, 2015, each containing at least one emoji. All users involved in this data set were active ones who used Kika to send at least one message during the period. They further plot the world-wide distribution of active users in the left figure. Each country is colored according to the number of active users in that country. The deeper the color, the more users in this country use Kika. The top 10 countries ranked by their active users are US, Brazil, Mexico and so on, as shown in the right Figure. Then, they summarize only the top 10 most frequently used emojis in the top 10 countries ranked by their users. Th e top 20 “emojis-of-the-month” are illustrated in the right Figure. The smile-cry emoji was the most popular in the survey. It was chosen as the Oxford Dictionary's word of the Year for 2015.With the increasing influence of emoji, there are many emoji derivative products. They are on clothes, incorporated within art, plastered on various items. Basically, anything and everything you can imagine has emoji variations. Future more, someone made an emoji Movie. It's about the adventures of a bunch of emojis on your phone. It is so funny and cute.Thank you, this is the end of my talk.。

And Maonan is a peculiar minority in Guangxi.Do you have ever heart this Chinese saying “Born in Suzhou, live in Hangzhou, eat in Guangzhou, and die in Liuzhou.” Why it said died in Liuzhou? Because, in the past, the city was known for its coffins, made from firwood, camphor wood, and sandalwood, which are said to preserve the body after death. Today many tourists buy miniature coffins, about 3 to 30 cm long, as souvenirs or good luck charms. The coffins are usually inscribed which means 'win promotion and get rich".
