Among many types of foods, beans are perhaps almost the perfect type of food. Beans, in fact, are so filled with nutrition and so reduced in calories that, if you happen to be dieting, beans are the right food for you. Beans are one of the best sources of fiber. Fiber has been shown to help us prevent many illnesses, including heart disease and cancer.
