作为高三临近高考的考生每天花了不少时间背单词。

因此,在高考前,鼓励学生尽量多记相关的词汇,突破词义、词型和短语的同时也要注重词汇掌握的技巧和规律,以达到一个更高的水平。

三、教学目标细则1.根据逻辑关系(同义或近义关系等),解释说明(下定义,定语从句等),构词法(合成,派生等),文化常识等方法进行猜测词义。

2. 能够把握代词指代所在的段落或前文表达的含义,抓住关键词或关键句,理清逻辑关系,进而推断代词的指代内容。

3. 能够对原句进行语法或语义上的准确分析,结合原文意义对划线句子做出合理的推理和判断,从而来进行句意猜测。

三、教学设计思路活动设计:本板块设计了3个步骤,从复习—练习—归纳,帮助学生突破词汇的障碍。

高中英语阅读与写作训练讲义第二讲阅读策略指导:猜测词义写作指导:人物描写Part 1: 猜测词义题解题技巧一、命题规律及趋势分析近年高考阅读理解中出现了较多的生词,这些生词(3%左右)不再加注汉语意思,而是要求考生根据生词在篇章中的重要性进行忽略或结合语境进行合理猜测。

对于篇章中的重要生词,往往设置猜测词义题进行考查,此类题型在近年高考中有增加趋势,尤其是猜测词组、句义题。

因为这类题目涉及题材背景、句子结构、文章主旨、作者的观点态度等。

猜测词义题主要考查学生词汇量的大小,以及联系主旨,根据同义或反义关系、构词法、语法和语篇文脉等进行上下文信息整合,进而正确理解词义的能力。

二、突破此题型的方法(一)提高词汇量:方法如下:首先,仔细复习课文,尽量做到结合文章中的短语或语法结构记单词,通过复述,活用等方法在运用中进行记忆。

如:记名词时,·可结合介词搭配来记,记动词时可结合动词短语或动词的语法作用来记。

其次,针对英语词汇量大、不易熟记的特点,可通过对语义、语法搭配以及词形等方面进行归纳比较的方法来记忆,使分散的内容系统化、网络化,以有效地提高效率。

如,根据―依赖‖这一含义归纳或联想相关的短语有:depend on,count on, rely on, rest on, lean on。

根据―专心‖这一语义可将be attentive to, be absorbed in, be bent on, be intent on 一起比较。

(二)在阅读理解中做词汇题应注意运用以下方法:A、构词分析溺:通过分析前、后缀及词根,猜测词义的方法。

利用构词法的基本知识破解词义,必须了解英语词汇中的常见词根及词缀,及转化词、合成词的知识。

为了解决这个难题,在日常教学中,我有意识,有步骤的引导学生通过上下文推测生单词的意思,现总结如下。

一、通过上下文猜测词义任何一篇文章的句子在内容上都不是绝对孤立的,都跟句子所在的段落及整篇文章有联系。

因此,我们要利用上下文提供的情景和线索进行合乎逻辑的分析,进而猜测出词义。

例1:I had always traveled to Malaysia by plane or car,so this was the first time I was on a train. 而我们学生在这方面的技能显得薄弱,猜词能力比较差,猜词没有具体的系统的方法,因此,针对此题型的训练就显得很有必要。

在必要时,做些语法分析,通过词与词的关系,确定其词性;有时根据常识和生活经验或构词法知识,完全可以对那些从未见过的生词的词义作出正确的推测。

做这种题时,特别要注意的是,对于那些我们熟悉的词千万不要妄自、草率下结论,一定要结合上下文判断它在文中的意思。

2 教学对象分析高三的学生到了高三下学期,积累了一定的词汇量,具备了一定的语篇分析能力,通过一定的练习,掌握了一些阅读理解解题技巧,但是学生普遍基础薄弱,句子分析能力差,不知道联系上下文,阅读能力实属一般,很多同学甚至都是凭感觉在做题,并无系统的解题方法。

因而,希望通过此节课使学生的阅读理解能力有所提高。

1.依据定义(definition)猜想词义假如生词有一个句子或段落来定义,那么理解这个句子或段落本身就是推断词义。

定义常用的谓语动词多为:be, mean, deal with, be considered, to be, be called, define, represent, refer to, signify 等。

英语阅读猜词技巧课的教学设计巴彦淖尔市第一中学温晓茹课型:技能训练课课时:一节课(40分钟)授课对象:高二一班学生授课时间:2014年11月19日授课地点:2301录播室一、教学设计的背景和意义:1. 新课标和考纲的要求:猜测词义的能力是语言运用能力中非常重要的一部分,高中英语新课程标准要求高中学生能利用上下文和句子结构猜测词义(教育部,2013)。

新课程标准对合格高中毕业生阅读外语速度的要求是每分钟70—80个词,在阅读的过程中同时培养从上下文所给的信息中猜词的能力。

高考的阅读材料中可以含有3%的生词,高考试题的阅读理解部分没汉语注释的生词,往往是出题人有意识留下的题眼。

每年的高考阅读理解中有1-2个词义猜测题,近几年的高考阅读试题中词义猜测的考查力度逐步加大,要求考生阅读时能够通过上下文,结合中学生应有的常识来推测尚不熟悉的词和词组的意思。

2. 学情分析:高二学生已掌握了一定的英语阅读技巧并有一定的语篇分析能力,积累了一定的词汇量和构词法知识,有较丰富的学习经验和生活常识,但生词依然是学生英语阅读过程中遇到的最大绊脚石,它直接关系到学生的阅读兴趣能否持续。

阅读中遇到生词时,许多学生或翻阅词典或求助老师,缺乏利用语境中已知信息进行推测、判断某些生词意义的习惯和意识。

因此, 通过这样的一节课来指导和训练学生掌握一定的猜词技巧和策略,对突破高考阅读理解中生词的障碍,顺利理解文章的思想内容,提高阅读速度,提高学生的捕捉文本信息能力和语篇分析能力都有非常重要的指导意义。

二、教学目标:通过“自主探究, 合作讨论”的学习方式,指导学生回顾和总结猜词的技巧与策略,学会“利用经验常识猜词”、“利用构词法知识猜词”、“利用语境上下文提供的线索和标志词找寻信息猜词”,提高学生利用语境猜词的意识和能力。

三、教学过程与方法I. 课前预习:发“自主预习案”,学生自主完成10个猜词小题,思考并尝试归纳猜测词义的方法。

(所需时间10-15分钟)II. 课中探究:1. 话题引入(3分钟)2. 检查预习(5分钟)①小组讨论核对并确定“自主预习案”答案,合作探究归纳词义猜测的三种方法。

②小组代表呈现答案并讲解猜测依据:A利用构词法知识(由预习题1、2小题归纳)B利用常识和已有的知识和经验(由预习题3、4、5小题归纳)C利用上下文语境(由预习题6、7、8、9、10小题归纳)③老师屏幕呈现正确答案,对代表展示作出评价并根据学生回答进行补充、点拨、提炼。

老师做小结:3. 语境探究(25分钟)①小组讨论, 完成“课堂探究案”任务:观察6组句子,借助上下文猜词并找出揭示对应关系的标志词和信息提示②小组代表展讲,组员补充,组间补充,推荐下一小组展讲展讲内容:在语境中找出并归纳总结“揭示生词和语境逻辑关系的六组线索和信息提示和标志词”③老师强化重点,并进行补充,拓展、延伸。
