三年级下册英语第三单元特色作业

三年级下册英语第三单元特色作业

三年级下册英语第三单元特色作业全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Unit in English ClassHi there! My name is Lily and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite unit we did this year in English class. It was Unit 3 in our textbooks and it was super fun and interesting. The unit was all about animals and nature. We learned the names of lots of different creatures like elephants, monkeys, lions, and even weird ones like platypuses! My favorite animal we studied was probably the panda bear because they are just so cute and cuddly looking. Although I definitely wouldn't want to get too close to a real one!We did all sorts of cool activities to learn about the animal vocabulary. One thing I really liked was making the big classroom mural. Our teacher gave us each a big piece of paper and told us to draw our favorite animal habitat, like a jungle, ocean, savannah, or forest. Then we colored them in really vibrantly and cut them out. After that, we assembled all the pieces together into one gigantic mural that covered the wholeback wall of our classroom! It looked amazing with all the different bright environments blended together. Whenever I looked at it, I felt like I was peering into an actual wild animal kingdom.Another fun thing we did was playing animal charades. For this game, you had to act out being a certain animal without making any sounds, and then your classmates had to guess which one you were. Some of them were really tricky to figure out! Like how do you pretend to be an anemone? But others were really funny, like watching Tommy crawl around and scratch himself to be a monkey. We all cracked up laughing at that one.We also went on a special field trip to the city zoo during this unit, which was probably the best part. I had been to the zoo before but it was so much cooler getting to go with my teacher and learn all about the different animal facts and behaviors. My top three favorite exhibits were definitely the petting zoo (I got to feed a goat!), the monkey house (they were so loud and energetic), and the big tank with sharks and rays swimming around. I could have spent hours just watching them glide through the water. In class, we learned some really interesting stuff about how animals interact with their environments and ecosystems. Likehow birds build nests to keep their eggs warm, or how bees collect pollen and make honey. We talked about food chains and how every living thing has a role to play, from the tiny mice that bigger animals eat all the way up to the strong predators at the top. It made me realize how everything in nature is connected in such an amazing way.Probably the hardest part of the unit was when we had to write our own creative stories starring an animal as the main character. I chose to write about a family of meerkats living in the desert because I think they're really cute and curious animals. Coming up with a whole plot was pretty challenging, but I worked really hard and my teacher said she was impressed with my description of their underground burrows and hunting for insects. I was so proud when she posted my story on the classroom wall for everyone to read!We ended the whole unit by partnering up into teams and creating presentations to teach the class about one specific ecosystem, like a rainforest, coral reef, tundra, or grassland. My partner Amanda and I picked the rainforest because they have such cool creatures like jaguars, poison dart frogs, and those colorful toucans with giant beaks. We made a whole slideshowwith facts and pictures, and I also brought in my stuffed sloth to pass around as a visual aid!All in all, I had such a blast during the animal unit. Learning about nature and different habitats was fascinating, and doing activities like making the mural, going to the zoo, and giving presentations made it all so hands-on and engaging. I'm sure I'll never forget all the crazy animals we studied and the unbelievable facts I learned about them. Like did you know a giraffe only sleeps 4-5 hours a day?! Or that bees fly around 55,000 miles to make just one pound of honey? The world of wildlife is simply amazing.I can't wait until next year when we're fourth graders and get to do another unit like this one. Maybe it will be about science or geography or a different topic entirely - whatever it is, I just hope it's as fun and interesting as Unit 3 was. Getting to learn through creative projects, stories, and visuals is what makes elementary school so entertaining. That's why this animal unit will definitely stick out as one of my favorite memories from 3rd grade. Thanks for reading all about it!篇2My Awesome Summer VacationHey there, friends! It's me, your pal Michael, and I'm super excited to tell you all about my incredible summer vacation this year. Get ready for an awesome adventure because it was truly out of this world! It all started when my parents surprised me and my little sister Emily with a trip to Hawaii. Can you believe it? Hawaii! The land of stunning beaches, surfing, and pineapples galore. I was over the moon, bouncing off the walls with excitement! We hopped on a plane and after what felt like forever (but was really just a few hours), we finally landed in Honolulu. The moment we stepped out of the airport, the warm, tropical air hit us, and the scent of exotic flowers filled our noses. It was like stepping into a whole new world! Our hotel was right by the beach, and the first thing we did was run down to the sand and dip our toes in the crystal-clear water. It was so warm and inviting, like a giant bathtub, but way better! Emily and I couldn't resist splashing around and playing in the gentle waves. The next day, we went on a crazy adventure – snorkeling! At first, I was a little nervous about putting my face underwater and breathing through that funny tube. But once I got the hang of it, it was an absolute blast! We saw so many colorful fish swimmingall around us, and even spotted a few friendly sea turtles. It was like being in a real-life aquarium, but we were the ones inside the tank!Another day, we took a boat tour to see some amazing waterfalls. The boat captain was a funny guy with a big beard and an even bigger personality. He told us all sorts of stories about the islands and the legends behind the waterfalls. When we finally saw them up close, they were breathtaking! The sound of the water crashing down was so powerful, and the mist felt refreshing on our faces. One of my favorite parts of the trip was visiting a traditional luau. We watched amazing fire dancers twirling and spinning flaming batons, and learned about the rich culture and history of the Hawaiian people. The best part, though, was the food! We feasted on succulent kalua pork, sweet pineapple, and all sorts of delicious Hawaiian dishes. Emily and I even got to try poi, a traditional pudding-like dish made from taro root. It was a little weird at first, but we ended up loving it!As if all that wasn't enough excitement, we also went on a hike through a lush rainforest. Our guide taught us all about the different plants and animals we saw along the way. We even gotto see some tiny, colorful birds called honeycreepers flitting from branch to branch. It was like being in a real-life jungle adventure! Before we knew it, our amazing vacation was coming to an end. On our last day, we spent every possible moment soaking up the sun, playing in the ocean, and just enjoying the laid-back island lifestyle. We didn't want to leave this paradise behind! As we flew back home, I looked out the window at the endless blue ocean below, and I knew this was a summer I would never forget. Hawaii had stolen a piece of my heart, and I couldn't wait to go back one day and create even more incredible memories.Well, that's the story of my epic summer vacation, friends! I hope you enjoyed hearing all about my Hawaiian adventures. Who knows, maybe your family can plan a trip there too, and we can swap stories about surfing, snorkeling, and eating way too many pineapples!Until next time, this is Michael signing off. Aloha, and happy adventuring!篇3Unit 3 - My Favorite FoodsHi everyone! I'm so excited to tell you all about Unit 3 in our English textbook. This unit is all about food and it's one of my favorites! We learned so many cool words and did lots of fun activities. Let me walk you through everything we covered.First up, we talked about different food groups. There are fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins, and dairy products. I knew about some of these before, like apples are a fruit and carrots are a vegetable. But I didn't know that things like rice and bread are grains! Or that meat, eggs, and beans are proteins. It was really interesting learning where all our foods fit in.Then we learned how to talk about our likes and dislikes when it comes to food. We practiced saying "I like..." and "I don't like..." a lot. For example, I can say "I like pizza" or "I don't like broccoli." Speaking of pizza, that's definitely one of my favorite foods! I really like pepperoni pizza the most. Sometimes my mom makes it at home which is the best.We also talked about how to ask for things politely, especially at restaurants or cafes. We learned to say "Can I have..." or "I would like..." followed by the food item. It's important to use good manners! Like I might say "Can I have a cheeseburger and fries please?" or "I would like a chocolatemilkshake." Mmm, just thinking about all that yummy food makes me hungry!Another big part of the unit was learning food vocabulary words. We had to memorize words for lots of different fruits, veggies, meats, drinks, and more. Some of the harder ones were aubergine for eggplant and courgette for zucchini. But now I know that aubergines are those big purple veggie things! We played games like food flashcards and bingo to help us remember. My favorite activity was when we got to make banana bread in class. We followed a recipe and mixed all the ingredients together. It was a little messy but so much fun! And the banana bread tasted delicious when it came out of the oven. I wish we could bake yummy treats in every unit. One other thing we did was learn about food from different cultures. We read about foods that are popular in places like Mexico, India, and China. I had never heard of dishes like chicken tikka masala or dim sum before. It was really cool finding out what kids in other countries eat. Maybe I'll be brave and try some new cultural foods soon!At the end of the unit, we had a kind of international potluck party. Everyone brought in a dish from a different country orculture. I brought a plate of spaghetti because that's Italian and one of my favorites. Some other kids brought things like egg rolls, tacos, curry chicken and more. We all got to try little bites of everything. Most of it was pretty tasty!Overall, I absolutely loved Unit 3 on food. I know it might seem like a weird topic for an English class. But I learned so many useful vocabulary words and phrases. Plus, it got me excited to try new foods from around the world. My favorite part was definitely all the hands-on cooking and food activities. It's way more fun than just reading from a book!Well, that's all I have to share about this unit. Up next is Unit 4which is about... Sports and Exercise? Uh oh, that one might not be as delicious! But maybe we'll get to play some fun games at least. I'll let you know how it goes. For now, I'm just dreaming about pizza...篇4Unit 3 in My English BookWow, Unit 3 in our English book was so much fun! We learned all about food, drinks, and how to order at a restaurant. It's one of my favorite units so far because I love eating yummy food!First up, we learned the names of different foods like pizza, hamburgers, French fries, ice cream, and more. I already knew some of them from going to McDonald's with my family, but there were a bunch of new ones too. Like who knew there was a food called quiche? It sounds kind of funny but Miss Lee said it's really tasty. Then we did an activity where we had to match the food names to the pictures. That was easy for stuff like apples and bananas, but some of the dishes looked pretty strange to me. There was this one that kind of looked like a pie but Miss Lee said it was called a tart. Isn't that a weird name for food? It kind of sounds like something you definitely wouldn't want to eat! After the food, we moved on to drinks. I was excited for this part because I really love freshly squeezed orange juice and chocolate milkshakes. Mmm, just thinking about them makes my mouth water! We learned to say things like "May I have some water please?" and "I'd like a glass of milk." Saying it like that makes it sound so fancy. My favorite part was when Miss Lee brought in all these different drink containers and we had to guess what was inside. There were cans, bottles, cartons, you name it. I got most of them right because my mom only lets me drink healthy stuff likefruit juices and milk at home. But some of the bottles looked really old and dusty, so those had me stumped. Turns out they were wine and beer - grown-up drinks that kids aren't allowed to have. No wonder they smelled so weird! Then came the best part - learning how to order food at a restaurant! Miss Lee set up the classroom to look like a little cafe and we all took turns being the customer or the waiter/waitress. The 'waiters' had these cool little notepads to write down our orders. When it was my turn to order, I said "Can I get a cheeseburger and fries please? And a chocolate milkshake too!" Making my order made me hungry for real food. The 'waiter' wrote it all down carefully just like they do at a real restaurant. It was lots of fun but I felt a little bad for my classmate who had to go around to every table and memorize everyone's order. That's got to be hard work for a real waiter or waitress! After we learned how to order food and drinks properly, Miss Lee said we were ready for our big class project - putting on our very own restaurant! We split into groups and each group had to decide on a menu, decorate the 'restaurant' area, and assign jobs like host, waiter, cook, etc.My group decided to make an Italian restaurant because we all love pizza and pasta. For our menu, we had dishes like spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, chicken parmesan, and of course lots of different kinds of pizza. We made little construction paper menus with pictures that looked delicious enough to eat!To decorate, we made these big colorful signs for the front of our 'restaurant' and got some checkered tablecloths for that classic Italian vibe. One of the parents even sent in some candles and a basket of breadsticks to make it look really authentic. When the day came for our restaurant open house, our little area looked so inviting and cozy.During the open house, we all took turns playing the different roles. I got to be a waiter first, which was harder than it looked. I had to greet the 'customers' (our parents and teachers), hand out menus, take orders, and carry trays of drinks and breadsticks around without spilling. Holding that big tray was tough with my little arms!Later, I was a host standing at the front to welcome people in.I got to say fancy things like "Table for two? Right this way!" and show them to their seats. Being a host was fun but a little nerve-wracking too with all those grown-ups watching me.After all the 'customers' had eaten, we switched roles again and I became a busser. My job was to clean up after the diners left, clearing the plates and cups, wiping down tables, and resetting them for the next guests. It made me tired just watching the real bussers rush around like that all day.We didn't actually have a real kitchen to cook food, but we pretended. We had a little area called the 'kitchen' and anytime someone 'ordered' something, one of us would rush back there and yell out "One lasagna, one pizza, one order of garlic bread!" Then we'd pass out plastic food or pictures of the dishes. Not as good as the real thing, but use your imagination, right?By the end of our restaurant day, we were all exhausted from running around so much. But it was also super fun getting to experience what it's really like working at a restaurant. Now when I go out to eat, I have a whole new appreciation for how hard those servers and cooks and bussers work to make sure everyone has a good time.Unit 3 was definitely one of the highlights of the year so far. We learned so many useful words and expressions, all through fun activities and games. Pretty soon I'll be able to wine and dine like a grown-up! Well, maybe not wine since I'm still a kid. Butyou know what I mean. I can't wait to see what we do in the next unit!篇5Title: My Exciting Adventure at the ZooHi there! My name is Emma, and I'm a third-grader at Sunny Hill Elementary School. Today, I want to share with you an amazing adventure I had at the zoo last weekend. It was truly an unforgettable experience!Last Saturday, my parents surprised me with a trip to the city zoo. I was over the moon with excitement! We packed our lunch, grabbed some snacks, and headed out early in the morning. The drive to the zoo seemed to take forever, but I didn't mind because I was daydreaming about all the incredible animals I would get to see. When we finally arrived, the first thing that caught my eye was the massive entrance gate. It was adorned with colorful animal sculptures and beautiful flower gardens. As we walked through the gate, a friendly zookeeper greeted us and handed us a map of the zoo. I couldn't wait to start exploring! Our first stop was the reptile house. I have to admit, I was a little scared at first, but my curiosity quickly overcame my fear. We saw all sorts of snakes, lizards, and even a massive alligator! The zookeeper told us fascinating facts about each animal, and I learned that some reptiles can go for months without eating. Isn't that amazing?Next, we visited the aviary, which was like a giant birdhouse filled with all kinds of beautiful and exotic birds. I loved watching the bright-colored parrots squawk and fly from one perch to another. My favorite was the majestic bald eagle, with its sharp talons and powerful wings. The zookeeper explained that bald eagles are the national symbol of the United States, and I felt so proud to see one up close. After the aviary, we stopped for a picnic lunch in the shaded area near the lake. As we ate our sandwiches and fruit, we watched the ducks and swans gracefully gliding across the water. It was so peaceful and relaxing. After our lunch break, we headed to the savanna exhibit, which was like stepping into the heart of Africa. We saw giraffes stretching their long necks to reach the leaves on tall trees, zebras grazing on the grass, and majestic lions lounging in thesun. The zookeeper told us that lions are the kings of the jungle, and I could certainly see why!Our next stop was the polar bear exhibit, and it was one of my favorites. The polar bears were swimming and playing in their icy habitat, and I was mesmerized by their massive size and fluffy white coats. The zookeeper explained that polar bears are endangered due to climate change, and it made me sad to think that these amazing animals might not be around for future generations to enjoy. As the day drew to a close, we visited the elephant enclosure.I was in awe of these gentle giants as they trumpeted and swung their massive trunks. The zookeeper let us feed them some fresh fruits and vegetables, and it was an experience I'll never forget. On our way out of the zoo, we stopped by the gift shop, and my parents let me pick out a stuffed animal as a souvenir. I chose a cuddly elephant, which I named Ellie, to remind me of the wonderful day I had at the zoo.As we drove home, I couldn't stop talking about all the amazing animals we had seen and all the fascinating facts I had learned. I felt so lucky to have had the opportunity to explore the zoo and witness the beauty and diversity of nature up close. From that day on, I developed a newfound appreciation for the animal kingdom and a deep desire to protect it. I promised myself that I would do my part to raise awareness about endangered species and the importance of conservation efforts.Overall, my adventure at the zoo was truly unforgettable. It opened my eyes to the wonders of the natural world and inspired me to learn more about the incredible creatures that share our planet. I can't wait to go back and explore even more exhibits on my next visit!篇6My Favorite Unit - Unit 3!Hi there! My name is Emily and I'm a 3rd grader. I really like learning English in school. It's so much fun to learn new words and phrases. We just finished Unit 3 in our English textbook and it was my favorite unit so far!Unit 3 was all about food. We learned the names of lots of different foods like apples, bananas, carrots, chicken, rice, and so many more. My favorite new food word I learned was "spaghetti" - I had never heard of that before but it sounds really funny to say! We also learned how to say if we like or dislike certain foods using phrases like "I love..." or "I don't like..."One of the first things we did in this unit was listen to a conversation between two friends talking about the food they packed for lunch that day. One friend had a sandwich, an apple, and some carrot sticks. The other friend had rice and chicken. They were saying whether they liked or disliked the different foods in their lunches. It was a great way to learn the new vocabulary words we needed for this unit. Then we practiced asking each other what foods we liked or didn't like. I learned that my best friend Sarah loves bananas but doesn't like broccoli. I told her that I love broccoli but I don't like mushrooms - they look kind of yucky if you ask me! We had a lot of fun going around asking everyone their favorite and least favorite foods.Later in the unit, we read a funny story about a girl who really didn't like peas. Her mom would always make her eat them for dinner, but she would find creative ways to get rid of them, like feeding them to the family dog when no one was looking! By the end of the story, she learned to appreciate peas a little more.I laughed a lot while we read that story. We also did an activity where we got to make up our own restaurant menu. We could include any foods we wanted, including silly made-up dishes. I put things like "Spaghetti Tacos"and "Chocolate Broccoli Milkshakes" on my menu. It was really fun to use my creativity and the new vocabulary we had learned.Towards the end of the unit, we had listen to descriptions of different meals and try to identify what foods were being described. That was pretty tricky at first, but it helped me practice my listening comprehension skills. I'm getting better at understanding words I hear now, not just reading them.My favorite part of Unit 3 was when we actually got to make our own food - healthy snacks! We learned how to make simple recipes like trail mix with nuts, dried fruit, and pretzels. We also made fruit kebabs by putting pieces of different fruits on skewers. It was so much fun to get hands-on practice while learning more food words.I have to say, Unit 3 really made me hungry a lot while we were learning! We got to look at so many pictures of yummy foods. Now whenever I hear words like "pizza" or "ice cream", I immediately think back to the flashcards and activities we did. This unit was the perfect way to learn all about different foods and dishes.I feel like I know so many more words related to food, meals, and eating after finishing Unit 3. I can't wait to show off what I've learned to my parents at home. Maybe I'll even try to cook themone of the healthy snacks we made in class! No matter what, Unit 3 was my favorite unit so far and I had a blast learning all about food with my English class. Bring on Unit 4!。

三年级特色英语作业简单又漂亮

三年级特色英语作业简单又漂亮As a third grader, my English homework usually involves learning new words, practicing spelling, and reading short stories. We also get to write short compositions and sometimes even perform skits or plays in English to practice speaking. One of the things that I really enjoy about my English homework is learning new words. My teacher often introduces us to fun and interesting words that we can use in our writing. We learn words like "blossom," "twinkle," and "sparkle" to make our writing more descriptive and vivid. Sometimes we even have spelling bees in class to test our knowledge of these new words.Another aspect of our English homework is reading short stories. We read stories about different characters and their adventures, and then we discuss them as a class. This helpsus improve our comprehension skills and also exposes us to different writing styles and genres. When it comes to writing, we are encouraged to becreative and express our thoughts and ideas freely. We get to write about our experiences, dreams, and even create our own fictional stories. This helps us develop our writing skills and find our own voice as young writers. In addition to writing, we also get to perform skits or plays in English class. This allows us to practice speaking and acting while also having fun with our classmates. Sometimes we even get to dress up in costumes and use props to make the experience more memorable.Overall, my English homework in third grade is both fun and educational. It helps me improve my vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills while also allowing me to express my creativity. I look forward to my English homework because it always brings something new and exciting to learn.。
