Objects（课程目标）：
The course aims to provide students with theoretical and conceptual tools to understand the way scientific and technological decisions are made and the effects that these decisions in turn have on social development. It will encourage students to analyze technology from different perspectives, to ask informed questions about the driving forces of science and technology, and to form their own opinions about the role of science and technology in our contemporary society.
� So, first, we need some background and understanding of the significance of science and technology in the recent past, and their importance in the modern world.
