Here are some of my favorite ones.Firstly, the Great Barrier Reef in Australia is a must-see destination for anyone who loves diving and snorkeling. I still remember the feeling of swimming alongside a giant sea turtle and being surrounded by schools of colorful fish.Secondly, the Grand Canyon in the United States is a natural wonder that leaves visitors in awe. Standing at the edge of the canyon and looking down into the vast expanse of red rock formations is a humbling experience. The intricate carvings and architecture of the rock-cut buildings are impressive, and the narrow passage known as the Siq leading up to the Treasury is a dramatic entrance. I felt like I was on a movie set as I explored the ruins and learned about the Nabatean civilization that once thrived there.Overall, these three scenic spots are all unique and memorable in their own way. 高考英语作文 推荐旅游景点 推荐信

高考英语作文推荐旅游景点推荐信全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Place: The Awesome Aquarium!Hi friends! Today I want to tell you about my very favorite place in the whole wide world - the aquarium! The aquarium is the coolest place ever. It's like an underwater world right here on land! You get to see all different kinds of fish and other amazing sea creatures. It's so much fun!At the aquarium, the first thing you see when you go in is the huge tank right in the middle. It's called the Ocean Tank and it's gigantic! Like, I'm not kidding, it's big enough to fit a whale shark swimming around in there. The whale shark is the biggest fish in the world, you know. This tank has thousands and thousands of fishies swimming all together. It's amazing! There are slim silvery fish that swim together in a big school, kind of like a team. They weave around each other without ever bumping into one another. There are fat clown fish with bright orange and white stripes. Those are the same kind of fish as Nemo from the movie! My favorite ones in this tank though arethe sharks. Not whale sharks, but smaller sharks like reef sharks. They are so cool gliding through the water without even having to flap their fins or tails. Sharks are the top predators of the ocean!Surrounding the huge Ocean Tank are lots of smaller tanks with all different habitats. Like there's the Coral Reef tank which is so colorful and pretty with all the bright coral and little yellow fish darting in and out. The Shark Tank has just sharks swimming around being scary but awesome. Then there's the touch tanks where you can actually reach your hands in the water and feel the backs of the stingrays or starfish as they glide by under the surface! That's a really neat experience.Another really cool exhibit is the Amazon River tank. It shows the kind of environment you'd find in the Amazon rainforest rivers. There are anaconda snakes curled up along logs, and scary-looking fish with huge teeth for catching prey. But my favorite animal in that tank is definitely the arapaima. The arapaima is one of the biggest freshwater fish in the world, even bigger than I am! When I see them gliding effortlessly through the water, I'm amazed at how such a massive creature can float and maneuver so gracefully. You could seriously spend all day just looking at all the different tanks and exhibits. There are jellyfish tanks with the jellyfish drifting like aliens through the blue-lit water. A seahorse nursery with hundreds of tiny little sea horses clinging to plants and swaying back and forth. And my personal second favorite, the penguin exhibit! It's kept at a cool temperature like the South Pole, and you get to watch a whole bunch of penguins waddling around on the rocks and swimming in the water. Penguins are just about the cutest things ever with their little tuxedo suits and funny walks. But the best part about the aquarium is getting to learn all this cool information about the ocean and its creatures. Did you know that the ocean covers more than 70% of the earth's surface? Or that coral reefs are known as the "rainforests of the sea" because of their incredible biodiversity? How about that a male seahorse carries the babies rather than the female? The aquarium teaches you amazing facts like those through interactive displays and knowledgeable staff. You come away wowed by the mysteries of the underwater world.I really can't even put into words how awesome the aquarium is. It's just such a magical place where you get to experience the ocean and its countless wonders up close andpersonal. Every time I visit, I learn something new and come away inspired to help protect our oceans and marine life. The diversity and beauty under the sea is just breathtaking. I wish I could take you all there to see it for yourselves! If you ever get the chance to visit an aquarium, you absolutely have to go. And if you live near a really big, amazing one like I do, you better believe I'll be begging my parents to take me as often as possible! The wonders of the ocean are just waiting to be discovered. Who's ready to take the plunge with me into the awesome world of the aquarium? Let's go!篇2My Favorite Place - Yellowstone National ParkHi friends! Today I want to tell you about my favorite place in the whole wide world - Yellowstone National Park! It's a huge park with lots of amazing things to see and do. I went there with my family last summer and it was the best trip ever. Let me tell you all about it!First of all, Yellowstone is famous for its geysers. A geyser is a hot spring that shoots out steaming hot water wayyyy up into the air! The most famous geyser is called Old Faithful. It's so cool to watch - the ground starts rumbling and then FWOOSH! Ahuge tower of boiling water blasts out of the ground. It's like a water volcano! Old Faithful erupts about every 90 minutes, so you don't have to wait too long to see it.There are also lots of other smaller geysers all around the park. Some of them are bright colors like blue, orange and green from all the minerals in the water. It looks like someone splattered paint everywhere! My little brother thought it was the coolest thing ever. We could hear the geysers gurgling and hissing like monsters getting ready to blow their tops. So awesome!Yellowstone also has tons of wildlife roaming around freely. We saw huge hulking bison with shaggy fur and horns as big as my dad! They just ambled across the road in front of our car like they owned the place. The ranger said we had to keep far away though, because they can be dangerous if they feel threatened. We spotted lots of elk too, which are like gentler, cuter versions of deer with big antlers. Once we even saw a mama elk and her babies just munching on grass right next to the trail! The ranger made us go way around them so we didn't scare them.My favorite animals were probably the bears though. Yellowstone has BLACK bears and GRIZZLY bears! We only saw them from pretty far away, but even their little potato-shapedbodies looked powerful and strong. I definitely wouldn't want to run into one while hiking! The ranger said bears are really smart and can open up locked cars if there's food inside. Yikes!Another highlight was the Grand Prismatic Spring, which is this huge steaming hot spring pool. The water is so clear and perfectly still, it looks like a mirror reflecting the sky. But the coolest part is around the edges, where there are tons of different vivid colors in rings - red, yellow, green and blue! It's because of different types of bacteria that live in the warm waters. So pretty! We also went hiking on some of the gazillion trails crisscrossing the park. We saw breathtaking waterfalls, towering mountains with snow on the peaks, and wide open meadows filled with wildflowers. The air was so fresh and smelled like pine trees. We felt tiny compared to the massive rocky cliffs and canyons surrounding us. I've never seen landscapes quite like that before! At night, we could see more stars than I ever knew existed. The sky was just jam-packed with twinkling lights against the inky black. Our ranger pointed out constellations and shooting stars. We even heard wolves howling in the distance, which was kinda spooky but very cool. Before we left, we visited the Fountain Paint Pot trail, which has all these crazy bubbling mudpots! The mud looked thick and goopy, almost like pudding. Some of the pots would get built up pressure and then BLOOP! A big bubbly mud fart would splatter everywhere. My brother and I thought that was hysterical. It stunk like rotten eggs but we didn't even care!I could go on and on, but I'm running out of room. Between the geysers, wildlife, hiking, and weird bubbling mud, Yellowstone was just incredible. I'd give anything to go back! If you ever get a chance to visit, you have to jump on it. This national park is one of the coolest, most amazing places on planet Earth. You'll never forget it!篇3My Favorite Place - The Zoo!Hi friends! Today I want to tell you about my favorite place in the whole wide world - the zoo! I love the zoo so much. It's the best place ever to see all kinds of amazing animals up close. Whenever my family goes on a trip, I always beg them to take me to the zoo if there's one nearby. I just can't get enough of it!There are so many reasons why I love the zoo. First of all, it's really fun and exciting to see wild animals that you'd never get tosee just walking around your neighborhood. At the zoo, you can see huge elephants, tall giraffes, funny monkeys, scary lions and tigers, slithery snakes, and much much more! Every time I go, it feels like an adventure into the wild.Another great thing about the zoo is that you can learn a ton about all the different animals. All the exhibits have signs that tell you cool facts about each creature. Like, did you know that gorillas are super strong and can lift over 1,000 pounds? Or that zebras have stripes to confuse lions and other predators when they're in a big group? I love reading all those fun facts and becoming an expert on the animals. But my absolute favorite part of the zoo is getting to watch the animals act silly and goofy. The monkeys are hilarious - they make funny faces, swing around, and sometimes even throw poop (hee hee!). I also crack up at the way the bears scratch their butts against the trees. And who doesn't love watching greedy hippos open their huge mouths wide to get tossed some lettuce? Whenever an animal does something goofy, all the kids at the zoo laugh hysterically. We just can't help it!My mom always packs a yummy lunch for us to have a picnic at the zoo, which I love. We'll find a shady spot to sit and eat our sandwiches while watching the animals wander around theirhabitats. Sometimes the feeders will come out and give treats to the animals, which is really neat to watch. After lunch, we'll go look at another section of the zoo. I'm obsessed with the reptile house, where you can see all sorts of snakes, lizards, turtles, and even gators and crocs! The snakes slithering around in their tanks give me the chills, but in a fun, exciting kind of way. And the giant turtles are so wacky looking. At the end of our zoo days, we always like to catch one of the animal shows that the zookeepers put on. My favorite is the sea lion show, where those big crowns do all kinds of tricks and silly behaviors when their trainers give them commands. The seals are super cute too, barking and waddling around. The zookeepers make the shows really entertaining and funny. It's a perfect way to end an awesome day at the zoo.Whew, I really could just go on and on about why I love the zoo so much! From the amazing animals to the fun exhibits to the entertaining shows, it's just an all-around great place to spend the day. It's affordable for families, it's educational without being boring, and it's an awesome chance to make some incredibly cool memories.I really hope your family will take you to the zoo soon so you can experience the awesomeness for yourself! If you ask me, it'sa must-visit spot for kids and grownups alike. You'll get to see creatures you'd never get to see at home, learn all about them, see them acting silly and adorable, and just have an all-around amazing time. What could be better than that?So there you have it - the number one reason you HAVE to convince your parents to take you to the zoo on your next vacation or trip. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back as soon as possible. A zoo day is pretty much the best day ever for an animal-loving kid like me!篇4Dear Grown-ups,Hi! My name is Timmy and I'm 8 years old. I love going on trips with my family during summer vacation. Last year, we went to the most amazing place and I want to tell you all about it so you can go too!The place is called the Grand Canyon and it's in a state called Arizona. Arizona is really hot and dry, kind of like a desert. But the Grand Canyon isn't a desert, it's a huge hole in the ground! And I mean HUGE. It's over 200 miles long and over a mile deep in some parts. You could fit the biggest building in the world down there! To get to the Grand Canyon, we took an airplane to a city called Las Vegas. Vegas is the craziest place I've ever seen - it's like a giant playground for adults with bright lights and huge hotels everywhere. We only stayed one night though before driving a few hours to the Grand Canyon the next morning. When we finally got there, I couldn't believe my eyes. The Grand Canyon is soooooooo big, it's hard to even imagine. It's like someone took a giant knife and carved a pattern into the ground. But the pattern goes on forever in every direction! The whole canyon is made of different colored rocks - reds, oranges, pinks, and tans. It kind of reminded me of a garden but without any green. We drove along the south rim of the canyon, stopping at all the different viewpoints. Each one was more stunning than the last. At some of the viewpoints, we could look down into the canyon and see the Colorado River snaking along the bottom. The river is actually what carved out the whole canyon over millions of years! My favorite viewpoint was called Mather Point. From there, we could see straight across the massive canyon to the north rim on the other side. It felt like we were looking into another worlddown there in the canyon. We saw birds and animals scurrying around far below us. I've never felt so small in my entire life! After the viewpoints, we went on a short hike into the canyon itself on the Bright Angel Trail. Now the Grand Canyon looked totally different up close. The rocky walls towered thousands of feet overhead, blocking out the sun in some areas. It was cooler inside the canyon too since we were walking in the shadows. The hike was hard since the trail kept going down stair-steps carved into the rocks. My legs got super tired after a while from all the steps. But it was worth it to see the canyon up close. We saw cute little critters called rock squirrels that aren't scared of people at all. We also found fossils and different colored rocks just lying around that were millions of years old! When we got back to the rim, we visited a museum all about the canyon and its history. I learned that Native American tribes have lived in and around the Grand Canyon for thousands of years. In fact, some of their homes and artifacts were preserved in the rocks of the canyon. It's amazing that people found a way to survive in such a harsh environment. On our last day, we took a helicopter ride over the entire Grand Canyon. Flying overhead, we could truly appreciate howmassive it was, stretching as far as the eye could see. We flew right through the middle of the widest part of the canyon and banked around towering buttes and mountains. From up there, it felt like we were on an alien planet! The Grand Canyon was hands down the coolest place I've ever visited. I'll never forget standing on the rim, staring out in awe at one of the natural wonders of the world. The sights, smells, and sensations were all soooooo different from anything I'd experienced before. I could have spent weeks exploring the canyon and still not seen everything it had to offer. If you take your family to the Grand Canyon, prepare to be amazed! It's out-of-this-world gorgeous and like nowhere else on Earth. Just make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks for hiking since there's no places to eat or drink down inside the canyon itself. Oh, and your camera too - you'll want a trillion pictures to remember it by!Your pal,Timmy篇5My Favorite Place to Visit: The Awesome Aquarium!Hi friends! Today I want to tell you about the best place ever to go for a fun day trip - the aquarium! The aquarium is like an underwater world full of amazing sea creatures. It's so cool to see all the different types of fish, sharks, jellies, and more swimming around. Let me tell you all about it!First off, you have to see the huge main tank! It's like a gigantic fishbowl but a million times better. The tank is curved like a tunnel, so when you walk through it, you're surrounded by water on all sides with fish swimming above you, below you, and all around you. It feels like you're underwater with them! There are so many colorful fish darting back and forth. I love watching the sharks glide by. Their mouths are always open which looks pretty scary, but don't worry, there's super thick glass between you and them so it's totally safe.My favorite fish in the big tank are the rays. They're like flat sharks that fly through the water doing loops and flips. It's mesmerizing watching them soar so gracefully. And they have these cute smiling faces that make me smile too! I also love spotting the huge green sea turtles paddling along. They're like real-life cartoons!Besides fish, there are lots of other amazing sea creatures too. One section has jellyfish, which are so trippy to watch asthey slowly pulsate and trail their long tentacles behind them. The jellyfish area is kept dim with pretty blue lights which makes the jellies really stand out. It's like an alien underwater world!Another part of the aquarium is for cold water animals like seals, sea lions, penguins, and even polar bears! The polar bear area is a huge icy environment just for them. You can watch them swim under the water through a big viewing window. The seal tank has an underwater viewing area too where you're separated from them by just a pane of glass. The seals swim right up to the glass and make funny bubbles out of their mouths! The penguins are my favorite though - they're so waddley and adorable. I could watch them all day.If you get tired of just watching, there are also some interactive areas where you can touch certain animals like starfish, horseshoe crabs, and even small sharks and rays in a shallow petting pool! It feels so weird but cool to be able to safely touch these critters. The staff there can teach you all about them too. When you need a break from the animals, the aquarium has lots of other neat stuff too. There are educational movies and shows about ocean life that you can watch. And there are special exhibits that change every so often with different themes - onetime they had a exhibit on pirates, another time was about ancient sea monsters. My favorite though was the exhibit on trash and pollution in the ocean. They showed how much plastic and litter is hurting sea life, which made me really want to recycle more and keep our waters clean! The aquarium isn't just looking though - they have an amazing playground and climbing area themed like a shipwreck and sea monster's lair. You can climb through the belly of a huge whale sculpture, go down a twisting shipwreck slide, and play in a submarine climber. My little sister especially loves this area to burn off energy. One of the newest and coolest parts is the 4D movie theater. It's like a 3D movie but also has wind, mist, scents, and your seat even moves around! We watched one that made us feel like we were underwater swimming with dolphins. The wind was blowing, you could smell the ocean, and your seat tilted as if you were diving down into the depths. So awesome!I could honestly spend days at the aquarium and still have more to explore. Every time I go I learn something new and see things I never noticed before. Plus, it's not just looking at fish in tanks - there's so much hands-on stuff to do too. Whether you're a kid or a grown-up, you're sure to have a blast! If you haven't been yet, you definitely have to plan a trip to the amazing aquarium. But do yourself a favor and set aside the whole day because you'll need it! Bring a bathing suit too - there's a water play area where you can get soaked. Don't forget your camera either to capture all the unbelievable scenery and critters. Just be ready to be wowed from the second you walk in until you leave! The aquarium is my number one favorite place in the whole world for a day of fun and learning. You'll see things you never imagined, from sharks and stingrays to jellyfish and penguins. It's like being a deep sea explorer without ever leaving dry land! No matter your age, the aquarium is an absolute must-visit. As soon as you experience it, I know it'll become your favorite too. So what are you waiting for? Dive into an ocean of adventure at the awesome aquarium!篇6My Favorite Place to Visit - Beijing, China!Hi friends! Today I want to tell you about my very favorite place that I've ever visited - Beijing, China! Beijing is the capital city of China and it's one of the oldest cities in the whole world. There's so much cool stuff to see and do there. Let me tell you all about it!First of all, Beijing has some amazing historical sites that you just have to see if you go there. The most famous one is called the Forbidden City. It used to be the palace where the emperors of China lived a long, long time ago. The Forbidden City is humongous - it has 9,999 rooms! Can you even imagine having a house that big? It would take forever to clean it. The Forbidden City is all made out of beautiful wood and stone with these bright yellow roof tiles. When you go inside, you can see the emperor's throne rooms and living quarters. There are lots of pretty gardens too with pools and trees. My favorite part was checking out all the ancient artifacts and treasures from China's past.Another awesome historical place is the Great Wall of China. This is a massive wall that winds along the mountains in the northern part of China. It's so long that if you walked the entire length, it would take you over a year! The Great Wall was built a really, really long time ago to help protect China from invaders. It's incredible that people back then could build something so huge and strong without modern tools and machines. When you visit the Great Wall, you can actually walk along parts of it up anddown the steep hills. Just be prepared because it's quite a workout! If you get tired from all that hiking and sightseeing, Beijing has some awesome parks where you can relax. My favorite is Beihai Park right in the middle of the city. It's absolutely beautiful with bright green gardens, pretty lakes, and even a section that used to be the vacation palace for the emperors. In Beihai Park, you can rent a little boat and cruise around the lake. Or you can just find a quiet spot to have a picnic. The park is always filled with locals doing tai chi, playing chess or singing opera. It's such a peaceful escape from the busy city.Of course, you can't visit Beijing without checking out some delicious Chinese food! There are restaurants and street food vendors everywhere selling yummy dishes. My top recommendations are:Peking duck - This is roast duck that has been cooked until the skin is crispy and delicious. They wrap it in a thin pancake with vegetables. So good!Jianbing - This is a warm crepe or flatbread made with eggs, crispy wontons, scallions and sauces. You can get it from street vendors and it makes the perfect breakfast or snack.Mongolian hot pot - For this, you get a pot of boiling broth at your table and surround it with plates of thinly sliced meats and veggies that you cook right at your table. So fun and tasty! There's just nowhere else in the world quite like Beijing. Between seeing all the rich history and culture, exploring the scenic parks and gardens, and eating some of the best Chinese food, it's an incredible place that I think everyone should get to experience. The next time your parents are planning a family vacation, you have to tell them to take you to Beijing! I'm already dreaming about going back there again someday. So what did you think of my travel recommendation? If you could visit any place in the world, where would you want to go? I'd love to hear about the destinations you're most interested in seeing. Maybe we can even exchange travel tips and recommendations! Exploring new cultures and cities is one of the most fun experiences. I feel so lucky that I've already gotten to see Beijing at my age. Here's to many more adventures and travels ahead!。

The picture depicts a scenario of a terrible traffic jam in the street. In fact, the traffic jam is so heavy that it is more of a parking lot than a crowded street.AnXious passengers cannot take buses because there are few buses.Instead, the street is filled with too many private cars.EXaggerated as it is, the phenomenon is not uncommon nowadays. With the number of private cars increasing, traffic Kunming.A geological phenomenon, the Stone Forest was a vast eXpanse of sea during the Paleozoic era——some 270 million years ter, the movement of tectonic plates altered the earth’s crust, causing the sea to recede and its limestone bottom to appear, thereby forming land.Due to the constantseeping ofrain through the cracks in the limestone, some of the stone formation dissolved and the fissures broadened, producing a group of great sculptures of different shapes, all molded by nature. In the midst of the forest, there is a huge rock screen on which two words——Stone Forest——are engraved in official script .Among the scenic sights is the "Sword Peak Pond" with jadeite-colored water so clear that one can see the bottom of the pond.Other astonishing sights include "Figure of Ashima," "Shi Ba Xiang Song" , and "Lotus Peak."The splendor of the Stone Forest is enhanced by the local customs of the native Sani people .Sani people are industrious and hospitable——and unconstrained.Sani women are eXpert at spinning, weaving, and embroidering. They like to wear rainbow-colored headgear and bright-colored dresses. The young people especially are very good singers and dancers.Every day at sunset, "A’Xi Dance in the Moon" with great enthusiasm. If you happen to witness the event, you will be invited to join in the festivity.Note that every lunar year, on June 24th, the Sani people celebrate their national festival——the Torch Festival. On that day,the entire Stone Forest is permeated with a celebratory atmosphere. There are traditional performances of wreestling and bull-fighting.Finally,when the land is enveloped in the curtain of night, the young men run after the young women to propose marriage in the light of colored lanterns.介绍景点的英语作文 9Beijing is our capital What were theuncivilized things they’ve doneduring travelling abroad? Someunique things done byChinese tourists when travelling made them be some labels like cutting in line, spitting, defecating indiscriminately and so on.There are plenty of examples like this in my side. Once I travelled to Beijing by following the tour group with countrymen. In the Beijing-to- Tianjin high-speed railway, I experienced their behavior, even if this is only in the domestic! When we movedinto the high iron, the quiet carriage was becoming noisy. And then, they talked loudly with each other in the carriage impudently, distributed snacks, laughed, completely ignoredthe workers reading books or working around. So, why did they do so without beingproducedgood impression by others? In my opinion, first of all, the cultural levelsof the tourists are uneven. Some of them have received a good influence or have received higher education, maybe they won't lose their faces through this behaviors. Secondly, some people love themselveswhile some people have thick hides. Self-love people tend to do internally, being strict with himself even if when left alone, restraining themselves not to do violate moral thing.Thirdly, in the public places, there is no people to remind tourists not toinfluence others. Again, I think they are likely to be very familiar with. With the familiar people, weoftenbehave very along with the gender. So sometimes they might exceed certain limit, making indecent things. Finally, many of whom have large age, they are probably in 40 s or 50 s, the elders own relative stubborn personality, it's hard to change their life attitude. And the last one increasingly emphasizes the importance of education.Found the problem, howcan we solve it? As we know, in general, tochange a thing is easier than to change a person; to change a person is easier than to change a generation. There is a saying: to cultivate a gentleman needs the efforts of several generations. Obviously, if you want to become a nouveau riche or to become rich only, you may just need to win the lottery. But if aperson wants to be a gentleman, to gainhis own economic foundationand have great cultural qualities, he needs to take a long timeabsolutely.Back to the topic of our discussion, how to make a group or even a generationmore polite, being respected everywhere? As far as I am concerned, it really needs the efforts of several generations in China. The most important——the development of our education. We’re supposed to ensure more and more people to accept education andmake more people even allthe national receive higher education. Then, let the experts tell those workers in moral education how to impart knowledge to the students better, helping us set up the consciousness of morality. It will help us learn to judge by ourselves, knowing what to do on some occasions clearly. What’s more?Through the efforts of a generation or two with the government, there may gradually be a good familyculture in each family. So the next generation will be easy tounderstand how to respect others. At that time they might realize civilization work is very normal and simple, the benchmarking of model will be set up in their hearts.I think this will not only solve the problem about Chinese tourists, it will make China's national quality increase greatly. Becausethe tourist behavior isonly just a reflection of national quality.I know, what I havethought is only just a conceive. But I hope the ideas will not to be put into fantasy, through our education, through our government, through our efforts…作文,英语,中国旅游篇三:Persuade people to China 一篇说服外国人来中国旅游的英文文章As the economic developed , more and more people can afford totravel outside their own country . 高中英语作文《旅游景点推荐》【中英文实用版】Title: Recommendation of T ourist AttractionsAs a Chinese high school student, I am delighted to recommend some of the most captivating tourist attractions in our country.China, with its rich history and cultural heritage, boasts numerous places of interest that are worth visiting. Here are a few that I believe you will find intriguing. The first place I recommend is the Great Wall of China. This magnificent structure is one of the seven wonders of the world and is a symbol of our nation's ancient civilization.Stretching over 21,196 kilometers, it offers breathtaking views and a sense of awe at the architectural marvel it represents.Another must-visit destination is the Forbidden City, located in the heart of Beijing. This ancient imperial palace was the seat of power for the Ming and Qing dynasties. Its magnificent architecture, rich history, and cultural relics make it a truly remarkable place to explore. If you are a nature lover, you should visit the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.Known for its stunning sandstone pillars, which rise majestically from the ground, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular filming location for movies like 'Avatar.'In terms of cultural experiences, a visit to the Terracotta Army ishighly recommended. This archaeological discovery, near Xi'an, is a testament to the military might and artistic prowess of the Qin Dynasty. The thousands of life-sized terracotta soldiers, each with unique facial features and expressions, are an awe-inspiring sight to behold.Lastly, a trip to the West Lake in Hangzhou is a relaxing and tranquil experience.Surrounded by mountains and dotted with gardens and temples, it is a perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in nature. These are just a few of the many tourist attractions that our country has to offer. Each of these places has its own unique charm and will leave you with memories to cherish for a lifetime. So, why not plan a trip and explore the beauty and history of China for yourself?。

下面是店铺给大家整理的一些英语范文,供大家参阅!有关旅游景点介绍的英语作文篇1:自由女神像Out of all of America's symbols, none has proved more enduring or evocative than the Statue of Liberty. This giant figure, torch in hand and clutching a stone tablet, has for a century acted as a figurehead for the American Dream; indeed there is probably no more immediately recognizable profile in existence. It's worth remembering that the statue is - for Americans at least - a potent reminder that the USA is a land of immigrants: it was New York Harbor where the first big waves of European immigrants arrived, their ships entering through the Verrazano Narrows to round the bend of the bay and catch a first glimpse of "Liberty Enlightening the World" - an end of their journey into the unknown, and the symbolic beginning of a new life. These days, although only the very wealthy can afford to arrive here by sea, and a would-be immigrant's first (and possibly last) view of the States is more likely to be the customs check at JFK Airport, Liberty remains a stirring sight, with Emma Lazarus's poem, The New Colossus, written originally to raise funds for the statue's base, no less quotable than when it was written……Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. "Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she With silent lips."Give me your tired, your poor,Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse to your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door."The statue, which depicts Liberty throwing off her shackles and holding a beacon to light the world, was the creation of the French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, who crafted it a hundred years after the American Revolution in recognition of solidarity between the French and American people (though it's fair to add that Bartholdi originally intended the statue for Alexandria in Egypt). Bartholdi built Liberty in Paris between 1874 and 1884, starting with a terracotta model and enlarging it through four successive versions to its present size, a construction of thin copper sheets boltedtogether and supported by an iron framework designed by Gustave Eiffel. The arm carrying the torch was exhibited in Madison Square Park for seven years, but the whole statue wasn't officially accepted on behalf of the Americanpeople until 1884, after which it was taken apart, crated up and shipped to New York.It was to be another two years before it could be properly unveiled: money had to be collected to fund the construction of the base, and for some reasonAmericans were unwilling - or unable - to dip into their pockets. Only through the campaigning efforts of newspaper magnate Joseph Pulitzer, a keensupporter of the statue, did it all come together in the end. Richard Morris Hunt built a pedestal around the existing star-shaped Fort Wood, and Liberty was formally dedicated by President Cleveland on October 28, 1886, in aflag-waving shindig that has never really stopped. The statuewas closed for a few years in the mid-1980s for extensive renovation and, in 1986, fifteen million people descended on Manhattan for the statue's centennialcelebrations.Today you can climb steps up to the crown, but the cramped stairway though the torch sadly remains closed to the public. Don't be surprised ifthere's an hour-long wait to ascend. Even if there is, Liberty Park's views of the lower Manhattan skyline, the twin towers of the World Trade Center lording it over the jutting teeth of New York's financial quarter, are spectacular enough.有关旅游景点介绍的英语作文篇2:纽约唐人街On the surface, Chinatown is prosperous - a "model slum," some have called it - with the lowest crime rate, highest employment and least juvenile delinquency of any city district. Walk through its crowded streets at any time of day, and every shop is doing a brisk and businesslike trade: restaurant after restaurant is booming; there are storefront displays of shiny squids, clawing crabs and clambering lobster; and street markets offer overflowing piles of exotic green vegetables, garlic and ginger root. Chinatown has the feel of a land of plenty, and the reason why lies with the Chinese themselves: even here, in the very core of downtown Manhattan, they have been careful to preserve their own way of dealing with things, preferring to keep affairs close to the bond of the family and allowing few intrusions into a still-insular culture. There have been several concessions to Westerners - storefront signs now offer English translations, and Haagen Dazs and Baskin Robbins ice-cream stores have opened on lower Mott Street - but they can't help but seem incongruous. The one time of the year when Chinatownbursts open is during the Chinese New Year festival, held each year on the first full moon afterJanuary 19, when a giant dragon runs down Mott Street to the accompaniment of firecrackers, and the gutters run with ceremonial dyes.Beneath the neighborhood's blithely prosperous facade, however, there is a darker underbelly. Sharp practices continue to flourish, with traditionalextortion and protection rackets still in business. Non-union sweatshops - their assembly lines grinding from early morning to late into the evening - are still visited by the US Department of Labor, who come to investigate workers' testimonies of being paid below minimum wage for seventy-plus-hour work weeks. Living conditions are abysmal for the poorer Chinese - mostly recent immigrants and the elderly - who reside in small rooms in overcrowdedtenements ill-kept by landlords. Yet, because the community has beencloistered for so long and has only just begun to seek help from city officials for its internal problems, you won't detect any hint of difficulties unless you reside in Chinatown for a considerable length of time.有关旅游景点介绍的英语作文篇3:迪斯尼乐园Walt and Roy Disney began their partnership on October 16, 1923 when they signed a contract to produce the Alice Comedies, a series of six- toeight-minute animated films, or "shorts," combining live-action and animation. What began as the Disney Brothers Studio evolved into The Walt Disney Company.Throughout the decades, the company has expandedworldwide from shorts to feature-length animated and live-action films and television production;character merchandise licensing; consumer products retailing; book, magazine and music publishing; Internet activities; television and radio broadcasting; cable television programming; and the operation of theme parks and resorts. From the creation of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in 1927 and the debut of Mickey Mouse in 1928 to the premiere of Tarzan in 1999, animation has remained the defining signature of the company. Along the way, Disney has added successful TV shows like Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, openedtheme parks in California, Florida, France and Japan, launched more than 700 Disney Stores and added brands such as Touchstone, Miramax, ABC and ESPN to the fold.To make the most of Disneyland - the ultimate escapist fantasy and the blueprint for imitations worldwide - throw yourself right into it. Don't think twice about anything and go on every ride you can. The high admission price ($36) includes them all, although during peak periods each one can entail hours of queueing. Remember, too, that the emphasis is on family fun; the authorities take a dim view of anything remotely anti-social and eject those they consider guilty.Over four hundred "Imaginers" worked to create the Indiana JonesAdventure, Disneyland's biggest opening in years. Two hours of queueing are built into the ride, with an interactive archeological dig and 1930s-stylenewsreel show leading up to the main feature - a giddy journey along 2500ft of skull-encrusted corridors in which you face fireballs, falling rubble, venomous snakes and, inevitably, arolling boulder finale. Disney claims that, thanks to computer engineering, no two Indiana Jones rides are ever alike. Judge for yourself.Among the best of the older rides are two in Adventureland: the Pirates of the Caribbean, a boat trip through underground caverns, singing along withdrunken pirates; and the Haunted Mansion, a riotous "doom buggy" tour in the company of the house spooks.Tomorrowland is Disney's vision of the future, where the Space Mountain roller coaster zips through the pitch-blackness of outer space, and the Star Tours ride simulates a journey into the world of George Lucas. The Skyway cable-car line that connects Tomorrowland with the clever but cloyingly sentimental Fantasyland is the only spot in the park from which you can see the outside world. As for accommodation, try to visit Disneyland just for the day and spend the night somewhere else. Most of the hotels and motels nearby cost well in excess of $70 per night. You're not permitted to bring your own food to the park; you can only consume the fast food sold on the premises.Disneyland is at 1313 Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, 45 minutes by car from downtown using the Santa Ana Freeway. In summer, the park is open daily between 8am and 1am; otherwise opening hours are weekdays 10am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to midnight, and Sunday 9am to 10pm. Arrive early; trafficquickly becomes nightmarish, especially in the summer.
