用所给词的适当形式填空主要考查以下词类：
一. 对名词的考查
1.考查名词的单数形式转换成复数形式
①一般情况下直接在单数名词之后加-s变为复数名词
②以-x,-s,-ch,-sh,结尾的单数名词变为复数名词时，在单数名词之后加-es。

③以o结尾的单数名词变为复数名词，生命的加-es无生命加-s
④以辅音字母+y结尾的单数名词变为复数名词时，先变y为i，再加-es。

⑤以f或fe结尾的单数名词变为复数名词时，先变f或fe为v，再加-es。

三：对动词的时态的考查
英语中动词的时态和语态贯穿整个中学阶段的英语学习。

我们现在学的时态有下列2种：(1) 一般现在时；(2 现在进行时；
1. 一般现在时
一般现在时通常表示习惯性的、反复发生的动作。

通常与表示频度的副词如often, sometimes, usually, always, occasionally 等和时间状语如in the evening, at night, twice a month, every day / week / month / year, on Sundays 等连用。

一般现在时可表示主语的特征、能力或状态以及普遍真理。

2现在进行时
现在进行时表示目前正在进行的动作或目前所处的状态。

有些动词常用现在进行时态表示计划或安排即将发生的事情。

其构成是Be+-ing,其标志性时间语有：now, at the moment, look ,listen

4 一般过去时
一般过去时表示过去某时发生的动作或存在的状态。

过去的时间常用副词、介词短语或时间状语从句表示。

有时句子中虽然不含表示过去时间的状语，但根据语境可判断动作或状态已经发生，而且与现在没有任何联系，也需用一般过去时。

四：对数词的考查
1.考查基数词转换成序数词
基数词变为序数词时,一般情况下在基数词之后加-th。

例如：four → fourth
但是，特殊的基数词变为序数词可用以下口诀来帮助记忆：一、二、三单独记，八去t,九去e,五和十二记仔细，f来把ve替，ty变成tie，后面再加th。

即：one→first,two→second,three→third,eight →eighth,nine→ninth,five→fifth,twelve→twelfth,twenty→ twentieth,thirty→thirtieth,forty→fortieth,fifty→fiftieth,sixty→sixtieth,seventy→seventieth,eighty →eightieth,ninety→ninetieth等。

五：对代词考查
形容词性物主代词(my/your/his/her/its/our/their)+名词
而名词性物主代词则相单于形容词性物主代词+名词,故其后不必加名词。
