2020高中英语新高考读后续写的升华:删繁就简三秋树,领异标新二月花引言我在近日提出读后续写的两个概念。
读后续写的内容可以分为:Be a story; Beyond a story.所谓Be a story,就是把故事说完整即可,不一定要突出一定的道理,类似于情景剧《老友记》,娱乐一下;而Beyond a story是基于一定的主旨(theme)去挖掘人物的内心情感,所有情节的拓展都是服务于主旨。
从浙江的历年读后续写材料和提供的范文看,文章并没有突出一定的主旨,纯粹的Be a story。
譬如2016年的妻子赌气和丈夫旅游中分开,然后迷路。
续写也是最后两人又和好。
包括今年的儿子上学,父母给家里的狗又添了一个伙伴,然后儿子回家。
这里面的故事就是单纯地围绕人物线展开,把故事讲完了,就结束了。
我认为无论是be a story还是beyond a story,只要把人物形象刻画出来了,并且续写部分的想象合情合理,都是达到了高考的写作要求。
但有人说,beyond a story对学生来说,太难了。
其实这就误解了我的意思。
就具体写而言,要想写好,都不容易。
甚至be a story 对学生的遣词造句要求更高。
因为你完全靠情节胜出,就要在用词上卯足劲,否则这篇文章就干巴巴的。
不仅仅没有思想,而且语言平庸,味同嚼蜡。
而beyond a story,你虽然语言平庸一点,但是你的思想非常动人,这就弥补了语言表达的匮乏。
以浙江作文题为例材料大致是:丈夫和妻子去旅游,来到森林里,二人意见不合,妻子赌气跑开了。
然后突然发现迷路了。
此时看到头上的飞机,估计是找她,但无法让它看到。
续写部分的范文是:天黑了,妻子找了写果实吃了后睡去;天亮,又和丈夫重逢。
我的想法:这几年的续写材料说实话,不知道是不是命题人觉得学生水平有限,选材都没有一定的思想深度,即使和完形填空比都差一截。
作为考生,如果要从思想上拔高,就要如此考虑,由于文章主要写妻子的活动,人物此时就一个:妻子。

• 《考试说明》并未对读后续写材料的体裁做出 明确说明,仅描述为“一段350词以内的语言材 料”,但王初明(2012)给读后续写下的定义 是“阅读一篇未完的故事,并随后将它补全”, 而且《考试说明》中的样题也是记叙文,因此, 可以推测,所给短文的体裁应以记叙文为主,要 尤其关注记叙文的篇章结构和信息重点(人物、 情节、环境、人称、描写手段、主题意蕴等)。
• 1. 续写第一段的内容设计既要考虑与上文的融洽 衔接,同时也要考虑本段和最后一段开头语的呼 应和衔接,而后者是容易忽视的部分。简言之, 第一段的内容设计要成功搭建本段与前文、后文 的桥梁。
• 2. 续写第二段是文章的结尾,要关注与文章开头 的遥相呼应,根据具体语境弘扬感情的真、人性 的善或拼搏的美,从而凸显主题,升华精神。考 虑利用抒情和议论等表达方式使得画龙点睛之处 能够表露文章深处蕴涵的主题意蕴、思想感情或 人生哲理。
• (二)分类
• 第二个步骤,对原文给出的பைடு நூலகம்0个下划线关键词语 进行分类,目的是在第三步骤设计情节时对其灵 活地使用。对于记叙文,分类标准可以采用人物、 动作、时间、地点、具体名词和抽象名词等。
• (三)设计
• 第三个步骤,参考分类后的10个下划线关键词语, 设计出与上下文内容连贯、丰富充实、自然流畅、 引人入胜的情节走势。头脑风暴出核心词(以名 词、动词、形容词、副词等内容词为主)即可, 无需完整句子。在设计过程中,应充分考虑以下 几点。
• 以上五个步骤和评分第五档(21-25分)的要求 是相互对应的。五个步骤的逐个实施可以确保满 足评分第五档在四个方面的要求。

二、读后续写的步骤
• 读后续写的过程主要包括定位(Determine)、 分类(Divide)、设计(Design)、初稿(Draft)、核 查(Check)等五个步骤(简称“DDDDC”), 具体如下。
• (一)定位
• 第一个步骤,是通过阅读定位所提供语言材料的 核心信息,包括核心单词、短语和句子等,目的 是梳理内容的发展脉络和推进方向。本步骤的关 键在于高效的阅读,要求学生在尽可能短的时间 内,基于对某种语言的掌握,利用分析综合、分 类比较、归纳演绎、抽象概括等逻辑思维技能, 调动知识体中的有关部分,去洞穿语篇的文脉肌 理,积极寻找信息。
• 3. 灵活运用各种描写手法,以帮助打造鲜活灵动 的人物形象和丰富充实的情节链条。以动作描写、 语言描写和心理描写为主,辅之以恰当的外貌描 写和环境描写。情节的推动主要靠动作描写,要 完整描绘每一动作的前因和后果。语言描写包括 独白和对话,可以反映人物情感、行为动机、或 预示和推动故事情节的发展。心理描写聚焦于在 某一境况下人物的内心活动,可以细腻地展示人 物跌宕起伏的心路历程。外貌描写和环境描写的 使用貌描写;环境描写)。
• 3. 对词汇的选择务必字斟句酌、精挑细选。文章 是语言文字编成的织锦,词汇是构成文章唯一的 材料,是文章的色彩和音色,要确保围绕主题之 下的词汇使用在理性思维引导下能够丰富多彩和 恰当合理。
• (五)核查
• 第五个步骤,核查连接词、下划线标明原文给出 的5个以上关键词语、词数、语法词汇、和标点 等五个方面。核查有无连接词的使用;如无,应 增添连接词,以保持上下文的衔接和连贯。核查 是否使用下划线标明原文给出的5个以上关键词 语。字数控制在150-160词范围内为佳。最后通 读全文核查标点和语法词汇。
• (四)初稿
• 第四个步骤,按照情节链条进行初稿的撰写。此 过程应注意以下几点。
• 1. 分析原文语言表达方面的显著特征,观察有无 直接引语、各类从句、特殊句型、非谓语动词等。 通过模仿和创造,尽量提高与原文的协同,力求 在各个语言层次(关键词、短语和句型等)的表 达风格上和原文保持一致。
• 2. 先在头脑里组织整个句子的语法结构和内容走 势,然后动笔书写,从而下笔流畅、整洁美观, 避免字字艰难、反复涂改。

• (一)读后续写的要求
• 读后续写任务要求考生在一段350词以内的语 言材料基础上,根据该材料内容、所给段落开头 语和所标示关键词进行续写(150词左右),将 其发展成一篇与给定材料有逻辑衔接、情节和结 构完整的短文。续写部分分为两段。原文给出10 处左右的标有下划线的关键词语,所续写短文应 使用5个以上。
• 3. 使用并用下划线标示5个以上短文中标出的关 键词语;
• 4. 词汇丰富高级,语法准确多变(主被动句式、 各类从句、特殊句式、非谓语动词等的使用情况 灵活恰当、不拘一格、游刃有余);
• 5. 词数充分,150词左右。评分细则规定少于 130词的,从总分中减去2分;
• 6. 拼写准确,英式或美式拼法皆可;
• (二)读后续写的特征
• 《考试说明》中评分原则部分规定,读后续写阅 卷时按5个档次给分。参考最高档次第五档(2125分)的描述并考虑写作部分评分的其它因素, 可以认为一篇优秀的读后续写具备以下特征:
• 1. 内容丰富充实,与所给短文融洽连贯;
• 2. 连接成分应用得当,行文结构紧凑一体,与所 提供各段落开头语的衔接紧密合理;

• 传统高考英语试卷中的写作部分多为命题作文, 对考生的想象创造思维多有限制。作为考试改革 的一部分,新题型的引入可望促进语言教学实践 良性发展。读后续写题型具有较好的效度和信度。 读后续写要求学生在理解一篇不完整文章的基础 上,充分调动想象创新思维,大胆预测文章缺失 部分的内容走势,进行充满个性色彩的设计,并 用英语进行续写表达。该题型的启用在培养学生 的综合语言运用能力(尤其是阅读和写作)和思 维品质(尤其是想象能力和创新精神)方面将发 挥积极作用,这完全符合国家考试改革的理念和 课程标准的要求。
