什么是AEIS 考试
AEIS 是“Admissions Exercise for International Students”缩写，是由新加坡教育部专为有意申请就读新加坡政府中、小学的国际学生统一组织、安排的入学考试，考试时间每年的10 月AEIS 考试和来年的2 月份的S-AEIS 考试。
报名年龄限制
报名考试当年1 月1 日满7 周岁——16 周岁之间的中国学生均可报名参加AEIS 考试。
AEIS 难度
AEIS 考试科目有数学和英文。
相比之下，中国学生的数学基础很好，但考试试卷时全英文，所以英文是学习的重中之重。
建议报名AEIS 考试之前，先申请新加坡的政府中小学预备班学习半年至一年时间，这样将大大提高一次性顺利通过AEIS 考试的成功率。

AEIS试卷：AEIS考题解析从2008年开始，所有打算就读新加坡政府中小学的国际学生（学生须在入学当年1月1日满7岁或以上）都需要参加每年9月或10月举办的新加坡政府中小学国际学生统一入学考试（AEIS）。
学生们只需参加并顺利通过英文和数学两门学科的统一考试，就有机会就读新加坡政府中小学。
有关AEIS考试的录取，新加坡教育部将会根据考生的考试成绩和他们的所在住址，以及各政府学校的空缺学额情况择优录取。
通过AEIS考试成功被录取的考生们，将在下一年1月开始在政府中小学上学。
在2012年前，未能通过AEIS考试进入新加坡政府中小学的国际学生只能通过参加资质测试（Qualifying Test，简称QT）尝试申请政府中小学。
学生在参加完资质测试（QT）之后，须自行联系学校，然后再参加且通过学校的自主入学考试，才有机会就读该学校。
为了减少考生、家长和学校的麻烦，为国际学生提供更多的机会和便利，从2011年7月起，新加坡教育部取消了资质测试（QT），以S-AEIS考试作为AEIS的补充考试，为国际学生提供多一次统一的政府中小学入学考试。
未能通过当年AEIS考试就读政府中小学的国际学生，可以申请报名参加下一年的S-AEIS。
与AEIS考试相同，S-AEIS考试也将由新加坡教育部统一组织、举办。
有关S-AEIS考试的录取，新加坡教育部也会根据考生的考试成绩和他们的所在住址，以及各政府学校的空缺学额情况择优录取。
通过S-AEIS考试成功被录取的考生们，将在当年5月开始在政府中小学上学。
AEIS考试考英文和数学，均为笔试，数学对绝大多数中国学生而言都不是问题，而英文考试却成为一个绊脚石，因此也导致了大部分学生而选择降级考试。
AEIS的英文考试主要考察学生的英文综合能力。
小学组英文小二小三组别英文考试时间是1小时，34道选择题，包括阅读理解、完形填空、词汇、语法及拼写五个部分，主要考察阅读及语言运用，没有作文。

AEIS试卷：AEIS考题解析
从2008年开始，所有打算就读新加坡政府中小学的国际学生（学生须在入学当年1月1日满7岁或以上）都需要参加每年9月或10月举办的新加坡政府中小学国际学生统一入学考试（AEIS
）。
学生们只需参加并顺利通过英文和数学两门学科的统一考试，就有机会就读新加坡政府中小学。
有关AEIS
考试的录取，新加坡教育部将会根据考生的考试成绩和他们的所在住址，以及各政府学校的空缺学额情况择优录取。
通过AEIS考试成功被录取的考生们，将在下一年1月开始在政府中小学上学。
在2012年前，未能通过AEIS考试进入新加坡政府中小学的国际学生只能通过参加资质测试（Qualifying Test，简称QT）尝试申请政府中小学。
学生在参加完资质测试（QT
）之后，须自行联系学校，然后再参加且通过学校的自主入学考试，才有机会就读该学校。
为了减少考生、家长和学校的麻烦，为国际学生提供更多的机会和便利，从2011年7月起，新加坡教育部取消了资质测试（QT），以S-AEIS考试作为AEIS
的补充考试，为国际学生提供多一次统一的政府中小学入学考试。
未能通过当年AEIS
考试就读政府中小学的国际学生，可以申请报名参加下一年的S-AEIS。
与AEIS考试相同，S-AEIS
考试也将由新加坡教育部统一组织、举办。
有关S-AEIS
考试的录取，新加坡教育部也会根据考生的考试成绩和他们的所在住址，以及各政府学校的空缺学额情况择优录取。
通过S-AEIS考试成功被录取的考生们，将在当年5月开始在政府中小学上学。
AEIS
考试考英文和数学，均为笔试，数学对绝大多数中国学生而言都不是问题，而英文考试却成为一个绊脚石，因此也导致了大部分学生而选择降级考试。
AEIS的英文考试主要考察学生的英文综合能力。
小学组英文
小二小三组别英文考试时间是1小时，34道选择题，包括阅读理解、完形填空、词汇、语法及拼写五个部分，主要考察阅读及语言运用，没有作文。
小四小五组别英文考试时间是2小时，作文题目二选一，50道选择题，四五年级的作文为记叙文体，分为看图作文和情景作文，要求完成不少于100字的文章，故事情节编排合理，语言流畅，能够熟练使用简单句、并列句可以使用一些定语从句与状语从句。
而单选题由阅读理解、完形填空、词汇和语法四个部分组成。
小学组数学
小二小三组别数学共34道选择题、34道简答题，考试时间1小时50分钟，其中第一部分选择题30分钟、第二部分简答题1小时20分钟。
简答题需要把答案写在试卷所提供的横线上，并且需要将解题步骤清楚地写在题目下方所提供的空白处。
小四小五组别数学共36道选择题、16道简答题、12道长答题，考试时间是2小时20分钟，其中第一部分选择题40分钟、第二部分简答和长答题1小时40分钟。
简答和长答题需要把答案写在试卷所提供的横线上，并且需要将解题步骤清楚地写在题目下方所提供的空白处，长答题的步骤相对更详细。
中学英文考试如果是按照百分比计算，作文占50%，选择题占50%。
英语的考试时间是2小时10分钟，按照一个比较合理的时间分配，选择题的时间控制在40-
60分钟之间，其余的时间用来写作文，如果学生的英语水平足够高，那么学生对选择题应该是一目了然，做题速度会非常快。
选择题通常是10道语法题，10道词汇题，阅读理解和完形填空分别15道，分别2篇文章。
语法部分主要是要求学生掌握各种时态、语态、词汇变形等，词汇主要考察学生的词汇量，主要是以近义词和反义词辨析为主。
完型填空以测试词汇和语法为主，要求学生能根据上下文正确理解文章内容，选择合适的词汇，将正确答案填选择出来。
阅读理解部分的文段都比较长，因而要求有较快的阅读速度，题目多以细节题为主，考生要有较强的理解能力。
关于作文，中一年级是2道作文题（2选1），中二、中三年级是4道作文题目（4选1），中一是记叙文，中二中三可以写记叙文或者议论文，学生只要在作文方面写得非常好，能多拿到一些分数，被录取的可能性非常大。
记叙文的最高境界就是塑造人物的形象，如果少了对人物之间的对话，或者对人物感情的描述，则显得文
章缺少了关键环节；故事一定要环绕人物而发生。
记叙文若要写得好，一定要充分利用对话，除了间接性地描绘性格外，对话也能表现学生本人能够正确运用相关的标点符号。
议论文考试里最难应付的题型，除非考生对该题目特别有心得。
原因是考生需要对自己所论的题目有清楚的认识，并且有鲜明的立场。
要清楚议论文与说明文不同！议论文要求学生除了说明一件事外，还得陈述自己对那件事的看法，以及持有该看法的合理原因。
