Follow Your Dream追随梦想mp3

There was a young man born in a poor family, as a result, his school career was continually interrupted.

Once he was asked to write a paper about what he wanted to be and do when he grew up , That night he write a seven--page paper describing his goal of some day owing a horse ranch, he writehis dream in great detail and he even drew a diagram of a 200-acre ranch , then he drew a detailed floor plan for a 4,000--square--foot house that would sit on a

200-acre dream ranch . he put a great deal of his heart into the project and the next day he handed it in to his techer.

Two days later, he received his paper back,on the front page was a large red F with a note that read " see me after class" the boy with dream went to see the techer after class and asked "why did i receive an F ?", the techer said "this is an unrealistic dream for young boy like you " you have no money you have no resouces from your family, there is no way you could ever do it ,then the techer added "if you rewrite this paper with a more realistic goal, i will reconside your grade"

The boy went home and thought about it long and hard . he asked his father what he should do, his farther said , '' look ,son, you have to make up your own mind on this , however, i think it is very importent decision for you "

Finally, after sitting with it for a week, the boy turned in the same paper, making no changes at all. he stated , " you can keep the F and i will keep my dream ".

Recollecting the story , writer was sitting in Boy's 4,000--square--foot house in the middle of 200-acre ranch Two summers ago , that same school teacher brought 30 Kids to camp out on his ranch . when the teacher was leaving ,ha said " look , Monty ,i can teel you this now, when i was your tezcher ,i was something of a dream stealer. During those years ,i stole a lot of Kids' dreams, fortunately, you had enough gumption not to give up on yours."

Up to You 由你决定mp3

Jerry was the kind of guy who was always in a good mood and always had something positive to say.

One day I went up to Jerry and asked him, “I don‟t get it! You can‟t be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?” Jerry replied, “Each morning I wake up and say to myself, …Jerry, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood.‟ I choose to be in a good mood.”

“Yeah, right, it‟s not that easy,” I protested.

“Yes it is,” Jerry said. “Life is all about choices. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people will affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. It‟s your choice how you live life.”

I reflected on what Jerry said. Soon thereafter, I changed my job. We lost touch. Several years later, I heard that Jerry was robbed and was shot. I saw Jerry about six months after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he replied, “I feel really good.”

I asked him what had gone through his mind when he was taken to the hospital.

Jerry replied, “The first thing came to my mind was that I should have closed the back door. Then I remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live, or I could to die. I choose to live.”

Jerry continued, “The nurse kept telling me I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the emergency room and the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses scared me. In their eyes, I read, …He‟s a dead man.‟ I knew I needed to take action.”

“What did you do?” I asked.

“Well, a nurse asked if I was allergic to anything,” said Jerry, “…Yes,‟ I replied. The doctors and nur ses were waiting for my reply…I took a deep breath and yelled, …Bullets!‟ Over their laughter, I told them, … I am choosing to live. Operate on me as if I am alive, not dead.‟”

Jerry lived thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his amazing attitude. I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live positively.
