One day while working at the cash register in the gift shop, I saw an elderly couple come in with a little girl in a wheelchair. As I looked closer at this girl, I saw that she was kind of perched on her chair. I then realized she had no arms or legs, just a head, neck and torso. She was wearing a little white dress with red polka dots. As the couple wheeled her up to me I was looking down at the register. I turned my head toward the girl and gave her a wink. As I took the money from her grandparents, I looked back at the girl, who was giving me the cutest, largest smile I have ever seen. All of a sudden her handicap was gone and all I saw was this beautiful girl, whose smile just melted me and almost instantly gave me a completely new sense of what life is all about. She took me from a poor, unhappy college student and brought me into her world; a world of smiles, love and warmth. That was ten years ago. I'm a successful business person now and whenever I get down and think about the troubles of the world, I think about that little girl and the remarkable lesson about life that she taught me.。

But sometimes, it can be really hard to get the words out when you're trying to have a conversation. That's why I've been working on improving my English speaking skills. Do you want to know my secrets? Let me share them with you!The first thing I do is practice, practice, practice! They say practice makes perfect, and it's so true when it comes to speaking English. The more you practice, the more comfortable you'll become with the language. So how can you practice? One great way is to talk to yourself in the mirror. I know it might sound a bit silly, but it really helps! Just look at yourself and start telling a story or describing your day. Don't worry if you make mistakes – that's all part of the learning process.Another way to practice is by reading out loud. Grab your favorite book or even a magazine, and read the words out loud. This helps you get used to the way English words sound and flow together. It's also a good idea to record yourself reading and then listen back to it. That way, you can hear if you're pronouncing words correctly or if you need to work on certain sounds.Watching movies and TV shows in English is another great way to improve your speaking skills. Not only can you hear how native speakers talk, but you can also pick up on slang and idioms that you might not learn in a classroom setting. Just be sure to turn on the subtitles so you can follow along with the dialogue.Building your vocabulary is also super important when it comes to speaking English fluently. The more words you know, the easier it will be to express yourself. One fun way to learn new words is by playing word games like Scrabble or Boggle. You can also make flashcards with new words and their meanings, and practice them regularly. But don't just memorize lists of words – try to use them in context as well. For example, if you learn the word "delicious," you could practice using it in a sentence like "The chocolate cake was delicious!" or "I had a delicious meal at the new restaurant."The more you use new words in context, the better you'll remember them.Another tip for improving your English speaking skills is to listen carefully to how native speakers pronounce words. English has a lot of tricky sounds and word combinations that can be hard for non-native speakers to master. So pay attention to how words are pronounced, and practice saying them out loud. If you're having trouble with a particular sound or word, don't be afraid to ask for help or look up pronunciation guides online. Finally, don't be too hard on yourself if you make mistakes when speaking English. Everyone makes mistakes when learning a new language – it's totally normal! The important thing is to keep practicing and not get discouraged. If you don't understand something, ask for clarification. And if you can't find the right word, try to explain what you mean in a different way.Speaking a new language can be challenging, but it's also incredibly rewarding. Being able to communicate in English opens up so many opportunities for making new friends, learning about different cultures, and exploring the world around you. So keep practicing, keep learning, and most importantly, have fun with it!篇2How to Get Better at Speaking EnglishHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 10-year-old student. I've been learning English for a few years now, and I want to share some tips on how to improve your English speaking skills. Speaking is really important for communicating with others, and it can be lots of fun too!The first thing I want to talk about is practice. The more you practice speaking English, the more comfortable and confident you'll become. It's like learning to ride a bike - the more you do it, the easier it gets! You can practice by yourself by reading books or watching shows in English and repeating what you hear out loud. Or you can find a language partner to practice conversations with.Another really helpful thing is listening to English as much as possible. When you're exposed to the language regularly, you'll start picking up words, phrases, and proper pronunciation more naturally. Listening to music, watching movies or TV shows, or even having English audio books playing in the background can make a big difference.Don't be afraid to make mistakes when you're practicing speaking! Everyone makes mistakes when they're learning a new language. The important thing is that you keep trying and don't get discouraged. If you say something incorrectly, that's okay - the person you're speaking with can help correct you. Making mistakes is just part of the learning process.Building your vocabulary is super important too. The more words you know, the more you'll be able to express yourself clearly when speaking English. You can learn new vocabulary words by reading, using flashcards, or installing language learning apps on your tablet or phone to practice daily. It's also really helpful to learn common idioms, slang, and expressions that native English speakers use. These can be confusing at first because often their real meaning is different from the literal definitions of the words. But learning them will make you sound much more natural when speaking. If you're feeling shy about speaking English, try not to worry! The more you practice, the more confidence you'll gain over time. It's okay to feel a little nervous or embarrassed at first. But remind yourself that it's a normal part of the learning process. Focus on having fun with the language rather than being perfect.Another good tip is to learn about the cultures ofEnglish-speaking countries. Understanding cultural references, traditions, values, and ways of communicating can really enrich your knowledge of the language and make conversing easier.Don't be too hard on yourself as you're learning. Mastering a new language takes patience and persistence. Celebrate small victories, like being able to hold a short conversation or understanding the plot of a movie without subtitles. Those little accomplishments will motivate you to keep working hard.If you ever feel frustrated, take a break and do an activity you enjoy to reset your mind. Then you can return to practicing English feeling refreshed. It's a marathon, not a sprint! Consistency is key.One of my favorite techniques is keeping an English journal. Writing down new vocabulary words I've learned, along with their definitions and sample sentences, really helps cement them in my memory. I can refer back to my journal entries whenever I need a reminder.Speaking English with native speakers, whether in-person or online, is incredibly valuable too. They can provide natural examples of grammar, slang, idioms, and conversational styles ina way that textbooks can't. Plus, making friends who speak English gives you a reason to keep practicing! If there are English language meetup groups in your area, those can be great places to practice speaking in a relaxed, casual environment. Or you could join an online language exchange community. The key is finding opportunities to have real conversations.Don't forget to celebrate your progress along the way! Maybe you can treat yourself to a small reward, like a special snack or activity, when you reach a speaking goal you've set for yourself. This will keep you motivated.Learning a new language is a journey, and it can have its challenges. But stick with it, be patient with yourself, and most importantly - have fun with the process! The more you immerse yourself in English through reading, watching, listening, writing, and speaking, the more it will start to feel natural over time.Well, those are my tips for improving your English speaking ability. Just take it one step at a time, find ways to practice that you enjoy, and keep at it consistently. You've got this! Let me know if you have any other questions.篇3Improving My English Speaking SkillsHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 10-year-old student. I really want to get better at speaking English because it's such an important language. Being able to speak English well can help me communicate with people from all over the world! It will also help me when I travel or if I want to work internationally when I'm older. My biggest challenge with English speaking is feeling shy and nervous. Sometimes I get tongue-tied or forget words when trying to express myself. I also have a hard time understanding native speakers when they talk really fast. But I know that practicing is the only way to improve, so I'm going to share some tips that have been helping me!One of the best ways to practice speaking is by reading out loud. I like to read children's books, magazines, or even comics out loud to myself. As I read, I focus on pronouncing each word clearly and correctly. If there are words I'm unfamiliar with, I look them up and practice saying them over and over until they feel natural rolling off my tongue. Reading out loud also helps me work on my intonation and flowing speech instead of breaking up words unnaturally.Watching shows, movies, or video clips in English is another great way to practice listening comprehension. At first, I found it really difficult to keep up with native speakers talking at normal speed. But the more I watched engaging English content, the easier it became to understand what was being said. Whenever there were words or phrases I didn't understand, I rewound and listened again carefully. Having subtitles in English also helps reinforce what I'm hearing. My parents have been so supportive and really encourage me to speak only in English at home as much as possible. We set aside "English time" where we have conversations, tell stories, joke around, or play games—all in English! At first it felt really awkward and unnatural, but now I'm getting more comfortable simply thinking and communicating in my second language. My mom is always there to gently correct any mistakes I make too.I also really enjoy language learning apps and online programs designed for kids. Many of them use games, songs, quizzes and fun characters to help build vocabulary and grammar skills. One of my favorite activities is recording myself speaking and then playing it back to spot areas I need to improve. I can hear how my pronunciation sounds and whether I'm placing proper stress on words and syllables. To boost my confidence, my English teacher has each student take turns leading part of the lesson or doing short presentations in front of the class. Although it's scary at first, this safe environment with friends allows us to practice public speaking and expressing our thoughts out loud. My classmates are really supportive and kind about correcting me when I make mistakes. One final tip is to find a language partner to practice conversational English with. I have a pen pal my age who lives in Australia, and we write letters or video chat regularly to keep improving together. It's fun getting to know someone new while helping each other get more confident speaking English. Having interesting discussions about our hobbies, families, and homelands helps reinforce everything I'm learning.Even though becoming fluent in another language has its challenges, I'm not going to give up! The more I immerse myself in English through reading, listening, speaking, and writing practice, the easier it becomes. Every day my vocabulary grows, my grammar improves, my pronunciation gets smoother, and my confidence increases.I really believe that mastering English will open up a world of opportunities for me as I get older. It will allow me to connectwith so many different cultures, understand different perspectives, and give me an advantage in whatever career I decide to pursue. The skills of communicating clearly and being understood are super important. My advice to anyone wanting to boost their English speaking would be: be patient with yourself, get out of your comfort zone, find enjoyable ways to practice, and don't be afraid to make mistakes—that's how we learn! As long as I stay motivated and keep practicing regularly, I know my hard work will pay off. Maybe one day I'll even become an English teacher myself and help other students on their language journey! For now, I'll just focus on doing my best and having fun while improving my speaking skills, one conversation at a time.篇4How to Get Better at Speaking EnglishHi there! My name is Emily and I'm a 5th grader. I've been learning English since kindergarten. At first, it was really hard for me to speak English. Whenever the teacher would call on me, I would get tongue-tied and my face would turn bright red. Speaking out loud in a new language was scary! But over the years, I've gotten a lot more confident with my English speaking skills. I'm not perfect, but I can have conversations and share my thoughts pretty well now. I'd love to share some tips that have helped me improve my English speaking abilities.Tip #1: Practice speaking out loud as much as you can! This is probably the most important thing. The more you speak, the more comfortable you'll become. You can practice by yourself, by reading books or singing songs out loud in English. Or have conversations with family members, friends, teachers, tutors, or anyone else who speaks English. At first, it will feel awkward and weird to speak English out loud. You'll stumble over words and pause a lot as you try to put sentences together. That's okay! It's totally normal when you're just starting out. The key is to keep practicing consistently. Little by little, it will start to feel more natural.I like to pretend I'm a teacher and teach my stuffed animals lessons in English. Or I'll narrate what I'm doing as I get ready in the morning or play with my toys, describing everything out loud in English. It feels silly at first, but it really helps!Tip #2: Learn new vocabulary words and practice using them. The more words you know, the easier it will be to express yourthoughts and build sentences. Write down new English words you learn, along with their definitions and examples of how to use them in a sentence. Then make an effort to use those new words when you speak. For example, when I learned the word "delicious", I started using it all the time to describe yummy foods: "The pizza was delicious!" or "Those chocolate chip cookies look delicious!" Using new vocabulary words helps ingrain them into your speaking.Tip #3: Don't be afraid to make mistakes. When you're learning a new language, mistakes are completely normal and okay. The most important thing is that you keep trying and don't get discouraged. If you say something incorrectly, that's alright! The person you're speaking with will understand you're still learning.I used to be so scared of saying things wrong. But my teacher helped me see that mistakes are just a natural part of the learning process. Now when I make a mistake, I try to learn from it and remember the right way for next time.Tip #4: Listen to people speaking English as much as possible. This could be TV shows, movies, podcasts, music, audiobooks, or just conversations happening around you. Themore you hear English being spoken, the more your ear will get tuned to the rhythms and sounds of the language. You'll start to pick up on common phrases, expressions, accents, and more.I like watching English TV shows for kids my age. At first, I didn't understand a lot of it. But over time, it's helped me get used to the speed at which English is spoken, as well as different ways to say things. Listening to English is like exercising a muscle - the more you do it, the stronger you'll get.Tip #5: Find opportunities to practice with native English speakers. This could be joining an English conversation club, participating in a language exchange, or getting a English tutor. Speaking with people who grew up with English as their first language is so valuable. You'll learn proper pronunciation, natural phrases, cultural context, and more.At my school, we have students from English-speaking countries who come help us practice conversational English once a week. In the beginning, I was shy. But the more I did it, the better I got at understanding different accents and holding real back-and-forth conversations. Those are my top tips for how I've improved my English speaking over the years! It takes a lot of patience, persistence, and practice. But the more you immerse yourself in English andlook for opportunities to speak it out loud, the more comfortable and confident you'll become. Just don't get discouraged - keep at it! Your English speaking will continue getting better and better.篇5Becoming a Great English SpeakerHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 5th grader who really loves learning English. I know that being able to speak English well is super important, not just for doing well in school, but for my future too. That's why I've been working really hard on improving my English speaking skills. Let me share some tips that have helped me a lot!First up, I think the most important thing is to practice speaking English as much as you can. It's just like playing a sport or an instrument - the more you practice, the better you'll get! At home, I always try to speak English with my parents and siblings. Sometimes it's hard because we all speak the same native language, but we've made a rule that we have to speak English during mealtimes. It really helps get that extra practice in.I also look for chances to speak English outside of home. At school, I volunteer to read out loud or present in front of theclass whenever I can. I'm not gonna lie, it can be scary, but each time I do it, I get a little more confident. My English teacher is so nice and always gives me feedback to help me improve.Another great way to practice is by joining an English club or finding a language partner. I'm part of my school's English Drama Club where we read stories and act them out. It's so much fun! I've also made a friend who is learning my native language, so we get together every week to practice conversing in English and my language. Having that real back-and-forth conversation is amazing practice. When I come across words or phrases I'm unsure of, I always write them down and look them up later. Then I make flashcards or little posters with the new words and meanings. I put them up around my room so I see them every day. It's definitely helping me build my English vocabulary!Sometimes I still struggle though. Maybe I'll mispronounce a difficult word or get my tenses mixed up. But I try not to get discouraged! Making mistakes is just part of the learning process. Whenever I get corrected, I see it as a chance to improve. I just make a mental note about what I did wrong so I don't repeat that mistake again. What also really helps me is listening to myself speak English. I'll record myself reading passages out loud, then play it back and highlight areas I need to work on - like if my pronunciation was unclear or if I spoke too fast or too slow. Hearing myself makes it easier to identify bad habits I may not notice when I'm just speaking normally.Overall, I'd say the keys to becoming a great English speaker are:Practice speaking as much as you possibly can, even if you make mistakes!Learn proper English by watching, reading, and listening to a lot of native English contentActively build your vocabulary by making flashcards for new words and phrasesGet feedback by joining clubs, finding langauge partners, or recording yourselfStay motivated and be patient with yourself - it takes time, but you'll get there! It's not always easy, but I can already feel my English getting stronger. Sometimes when my family is watching a movie in English, I'll understand almost everything without subtitles! Or I'llread a book and only have to look up a couple of words. Those little wins make me so proud and just motivate me to keep working hard.My biggest dream is to one day speak English perfectly - to be able to conversate smoothly, tell funny jokes, and understand complex books and movies without missing a beat. Who knows, maybe I'll even become an English teacher myself! I'm going to keep putting in the effort every single day to turn that dream into reality. Improving at English is such an exciting journey, and I can't wait to see how far my skills can go. Wish me luck!篇6Becoming a Great English SpeakerHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 4th grader. I really enjoy learning English and practicing my speaking skills. At first, speaking English felt super hard and kind of scary. But now that I've been practicing, it's getting a lot easier and more fun!I think the most important thing for improving your English speaking is to practice as much as you can. The more you speak, the more comfortable you'll get. It's just like anything else - the more you do it, the better you become. One way I practice is by talking to myself in English when I'm alone. I'll narrate what I'm doing, like "Now I'm brushing my teeth. I squeeze toothpaste onto my brush. I move the brush in circles on each tooth." It feels a little silly, but it really helps me get used to forming English sentences.I also try to use English as much as possible when I'm around others who speak it. Like at school, I'll ask questions and respond to my teacher in English during our English class. And I have a pen pal who lives in America, so we write letters back and forth to each other in English. When I'm practicing speaking and get stuck on how to say something, I try not to switch back to my native language right away. Instead, I describe what I want to say using simpler words and different phrases until I can get my point across. That helps me expand my vocabulary.Another really helpful thing for me has been reading out loud. I'll read storybooks, magazines, or even online articles and purposely read them with expression and emotion, almost like I'm performing them on stage. It makes the reading more fun and helps me work on pronouncing words clearly.I've also started listening to English songs, watching TV shows and movies in English (with subtitles in my language atfirst to help me follow along), and recording myself speaking so I can hear how I sound. Getting used to hearing English from different sources is so valuable.Sometimes English can still feel really hard and frustrating though. There are lots of irregular verbs to memorize, idioms that don't make literal sense, and funny little pronunciation rules. But I just have to be patient with myself. Learning a new language takes a ton of time and practice.Whenever I'm feeling discouraged, I remind myself of how far I've already come. Two years ago, I could barely introduce myself in English. Now I can have simple conversations, tell stories, and communicate my thoughts and feelings (even if I still make some mistakes). As long as I keep practicing consistently, I'll just get better and better over time.It also really helps to have a good attitude and not get too embarrassed about mixing up words or having an accent. Native English speakers usually really appreciate that I'm learning their language and are happy to help me. As long as I keep an open mind and sense of humor, stumbles and slip-ups aren't a big deal.My biggest advice is to try to enjoy the journey of learning English. Find opportunities to use it in a low-pressure way thatfeels natural and fun. Listen to music, play games, make English-speaking friends if you can. The more you can immerse yourself in the language through different channels, the faster you'll improve.I know it's not easy and sometimes learning English can seem overwhelming. But it's honestly one of the most useful and rewarding skills I'm developing. Already, knowing some English has opened up so many more entertainment options for me with movies, books, and websites I can access. And someday, being bilingual will really help me in my career and life.So keep practicing your English skills every single day, even if it's just a few minutes. Celebrate your small wins, be nice to yourself, and most of all - don't give up! I truly believe that anyone can become a skilled and confident English speaker if they stick with it. I'm nowhere near fluent yet, but I feel like I'm well on my way. With patience and hard work, you can absolutely get there too!。

写一篇提高学生的英语口语水平的作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1How to Become a Great English SpeakerHi there! My name is Emily and I'm going to share some tips with you on how to get really good at speaking English. Learning to speak a new language can be a lot of fun, but it also takes hard work and practice. Don't get discouraged though - I'll give you some great advice that will make it much easier! The most important thing is to practice speaking English as much as you possibly can. It's just like learning to ride a bike or play a sport - the more you do it, the better you'll get. Don't be afraid to make mistakes at first. Everyone makes mistakes when they're first learning, and that's totally okay! The more you practice, the fewer mistakes you'll make over time. One awesome way to practice is to find a friend who is also learning English, and just spend time chatting together in English. You can talk about your favorite games, TV shows, foods, or anything else you're interested in. If you get stuck on a word, help each other out. It's really fun to learn together with a buddy. You can also practice your English by watching TV shows, movies, or YouTube videos in English. I know it might seem weird at first to watch something you don't fully understand, but you'll be surprised how much you can pick up over time. Kids' shows are a great place to start because they use easier vocabulary. As you get better, you can move on to other types of shows.Reading books, comics, or magazines out loud is another wonderful way to work on your speaking skills. Find things to read that you're really interested in so you'll stay motivated. Read slowly and clearly, and don't worry about the words you can't pronounce perfectly yet - that will come with more practice. When you're practicing speaking, one of the trickiest things can be understanding what people say back to you. A good tip is to ask the person to repeat what they said or speak a bit slower if you're having a hard time following them. Getting used to different accents and speeds takes time. It's also helpful to learn some common phrases and expressions that English speakers use a lot. Expressions like "That's so cool!" or "No way!" might not make much sense if you translate them word-for-word. But learning what they really mean will help you understand conversations better.Another great idea is to start a language journal or diary where you write down new words, phrases, or grammar rules you're learning each day. That will reinforce what you've practiced and make it easier to remember. You can doodle pictures next to the words too - that makes it even more fun.The most important things are to keep a positive attitude, be patient with yourself, and don't get discouraged. Learning a new language takes time, but it's an incredible skill that will open up so many opportunities for you in the future. You've got this!Maybe you could set a goal to only speak in English for an hour (or whatever time period) each day. That concentrated practice will really level up your skills. You're awesome for taking on this challenge, and I just know you'll become an amazing English speaker! Let me know if you have any other questions.篇2Improving Our English Speaking SkillsHi everyone! My name is Sophie and I'm a 4th grader. Today I want to talk to you about something that's really important, especially for us kids – improving our English speaking skills. You might be wondering, "Why is this so important?" Well, let me tell you!English is like the language of the world. People use it to communicate all over the globe. If we can speak English well, we'll be able to make friends from different countries, travel anywhere, and even get cool jobs when we grow up. Plus, a lot of the movies, TV shows, video games, and books we love are in English. Wouldn't it be awesome to understand everything without needing subtitles or translations? But speaking English fluently isn't easy, especially if it's not your first language. I know this from experience because my family speaks Spanish at home. When I started school, I could barely say a few words in English. It was really frustrating trying to talk to my classmates and teachers. I felt left out and shy.Thankfully, my parents, teachers, and I worked really hard to improve my English skills. And you know what? It paid off big time! Now I can express myself clearly, make jokes, tell stories, and pretty much say whatever I want in English. It's such a liberating feeling. So how did I do it? Here are some tips that really helped me along the way:Practice, practice, practice! The more you speak English, the more comfortable you'll become. It's okay to make mistakes at first. Nobody is perfect. Just keep trying!Watch movies, TV shows, and videos in English. Seeing and hearing native speakers is a great way to pick up proper pronunciation, vocabulary, and conversational phrases.Read books, comics, magazines - anything you enjoy, as long as it's in English. This helps you learn new words and grammar rules.Make English-speaking friends. Having conversations is the best way to practice. Don't be afraid to ask them to correct you sometimes.Take every opportunity to speak English, even if it feels awkward at first. Order food in English, ask for directions, talk to yourself while playing. Immerse yourself!Listen to English music and try singing along. This makes learning fun and helps with pronunciation.Use learning apps, games, and websites designed to improve English skills. There are so many free resources out there now.Be patient and don't get discouraged. Learning a new language takes time and effort. Celebrate small victories along the way.Have a positive attitude and believe in yourself! If you think you can't do it, you'll篇3How to Get Better at Speaking EnglishHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. I really want to get better at speaking English because it's such an important language. A lot of movies, books, video games and websites are in English. Plus, English is spoken all over the world, so it's great to know it if you want to travel or make friends from other countries. My teacher says that the best way to improve at speaking any language is to practice it as much as possible. She gives us lots of chances to speak English in class, but I also need to practice outside of school. So I'm going to share some tips that have helped me and my friends get better at speaking English. Hopefully they'll help you too!First up, watch movies, shows and videos in English! It's a really fun way to hear English being spoken in a natural way. You can start with things that have subtitles in your language to help you understand. Then try watching without subtitles and see how much you can pick up just from listening. My favorite showsare the ones with kids my age as the main characters because I can relate to them and their language isn't too hard.Reading books and comics out loud is another great practice. It helps you get used to pronouncing English words and building your vocabulary. Start with easy books you've already read in your language so the story is familiar. Then you can challenge yourself with more difficult ones. My parents and I sometimes take turns reading pages from my storybooks - it makes practice more entertaining!Singing along to English songs is a super fun option too. The lyrics and melodies make words and phrases easier to memorize. I've learned so many useful expressions from singing my favorite pop songs. We sometimes do lyric analysis in class too which really deepens my understanding. When I'm alone, I'll talk to myself in English too. I'll narrate what I'm doing like "Now I'm brushing my teeth. Oh, I'm putting on my favorite red shirt!" or imagine scenarios like ordering food or introducing myself. It feels silly at first but it's great practice to think in English. Our teacher plans lots of fun English speaking activities too. We have show-and-tell days where we bring something special and talk about it in front of the class. We also do roleplays, debates and group presentations on different topics which push us to use more vocabulary and grammar. We sometimes have English drama time too where we act out skits and stories - it's my favorite because I love performing! When I'm having trouble with a word or phrase, I've learned it's best to just ask instead of getting frustrated. My teacher is always happy to explain things in a simple way. Sometimes she'll demonstrate by acting it out which really helps it click in my brain. If I'm still confused, I ask her to use the word in a couple of example sentences so I can understand it in context.Taking opportunities to speak English with native speakers is incredibly helpful too. Some students have English tutors who they practice conversing with over video chat. There are also language exchange programs where you can meet kids from other countries to make friends and practice together. My cousin Annie lives in the United States so I get to speak English with her when we have video playdates!Learning any new language takes a lot of patience, practice, and not being afraid to make mistakes. I try to remember that mistakes mean I'm learning and improving. My English is far from perfect but I'm proud of how much better I've gotten. Themore I immerse myself in English through all kinds of activities, the more natural and comfortable I feel speaking it.So those are my top tips for boosting your English speaking skills! Remember, consistency is key. Keep exposing yourself to English as much as possible through listening, reading, singing, speaking and having fun with it. Before you know it, you'll be chatting away like a native speaker. Just don't get too discouraged and keep at it! You've got this!篇4Improving My English Speaking SkillsHello there! My name is Emily and I'm a 5th grader at Oakwood Elementary School. I love learning new things, especially when it comes to languages. English is one of my favorite subjects and I really want to get better at speaking it fluently. My English teacher, Mrs. Johnson, always says that practice makes perfect. She encourages us to speak English as much as we can, even outside of class. At first, I felt a bit shy about it. What if I made mistakes? What if my friends laughed at me? But Mrs. Johnson reminded us that making mistakes is okay – it's all part of the learning process. One thing that has really helped me is reading books and watching movies or TV shows in English. It's amazing how much new vocabulary I've picked up just from doing that! Whenever I come across a word I don't know, I write it down and look up the meaning later. Then I try to use that new word in a sentence or two to help me remember it better. My parents have also been super supportive. They found this really cool English language learning app that we can use together. It has all sorts of fun games and activities to practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Sometimes we'll do role-playing exercises where we pretend to order food at a restaurant or go shopping. It feels a bit silly at first, but it's actually a great way to practice real-life conversations.Another thing I love doing is singing along to English songs. The lyrics really stick in my head, and before I know it, I'm using some of those words and phrases in my everyday speech. My little sister thinks it's hilarious when I randomly burst into song, but hey, whatever works!During our lunch breaks, a few of us have even started an "English Only" club. We make a point of only speaking English to each other, even if it means stumbling over our words sometimes. It's a safe space where we can make mistakeswithout feeling embarrassed. And you know what? The more we do it, the easier it gets!Whenever I'm feeling frustrated about a particularly tricky phrase or grammatical concept, I remind myself of how far I've already come. I remember when I could barely string a few English words together. Now, I can hold entire conversations! It's been a journey for sure, but a really rewarding one.I know I still have a long way to go before I'm truly fluent, but I'm not going to give up. English is such an amazing language, and being able to speak it well will open up so many doors for me in the future. Who knows, maybe I'll even become an English teacher myself one day and help other kids fall in love with the language, just like Mrs. Johnson did for me.For now, I'll just keep practicing, keep learning, and keep having fun with it. English is my friend, not my enemy. With patience, determination, and the right strategies, I know I can conquer this challenge. The world is a big place, and being able to communicate in English will allow me to explore so much of it.I can't wait to see where this journey takes me!篇5How to Get Better at Speaking EnglishHey there! If you're trying to improve your English speaking skills, you've come to the right place. My name is Emma, and I'm a 5th grader who loves learning languages. English can be really tricky, but don't worry – I've got some tips that have helped me a lot.First things first, you've got to practice speaking out loud as much as you can. It might feel a little silly at first, but the more you do it, the more comfortable you'll become. You can practice by yourself, with your family and friends, or even with your stuffed animals! Doesn't matter who (or what) you're talking to, just get those vocal cords working. One of my favorite ways to practice is by reading books, magazines, or websites out loud. As I'm reading, I like to focus on pronouncing each word clearly and putting emphasis on the right syllables. It also helps me get familiar with vocabulary and sentence structures. Easy readers and children's books are great for beginners.Another really fun option is watching TV shows, movies, or YouTube videos in English. Pause every now and then to repeat what the characters are saying. You can also try lip-syncing along! Make sure to choose shows and movies that are appropriate foryour age and have easy-to-understand dialogue. My personal favorites are animated Disney movies.Speaking of movies, singing along to English songs is an awesome way to work on pronunciation and intonation. The rhythms and rhymes can make it easier to remember words and phrases. You could even put on a little concert for your family! If you have English-speaking friends or family members, don't be afraid to chat with them as much as possible. They can correct you gently when you make mistakes, and you'll get used to having real conversations. You could also join an English club at school or in your community. When you're feeling stuck, don't hesitate to ask questions! Your teacher, parents, or even an online language buddy can help clear up any confusing words or grammar rules. The more you understand, the more confident you'll feel when speaking. Here's a silly trick that might help: give yourself a secret English name and imagine you're a character who only speaks English. You can practice self-introductions or even have entire conversations with your alter ego!Remember, making mistakes is totally normal and okay –that's how we learn! If you say something incorrectly, don't getdiscouraged. Just try again and keep practicing. The most important thing is to have fun with it and not take yourself too seriously.Learning a new language takes a lot of time, effort, and patience. But you've got this! By practicing speaking out loud as much as you can, you'll gain more confidence and improve your skills day by day. Keep at it, and before you know it, you'll be chatting away like a native English speaker! Those are my top tips for now. Let me know if you have any other questions or if you need me to explain something in more detail. I'm always happy to help a fellow language learner! Wishing you the best of luck on your English journey.篇6Certainly! Here's an essay of around 2000 words, written in English from the perspective of an elementary school student, on improving students' English speaking proficiency:How to Get Better at Speaking EnglishHi there! My name is Emily, and I'm a 4th grader at Sunny Elementary School. I love learning new things, especially when itcomes to languages. Today, I want to share with you some tips on how to improve your English speaking skills.First things first, why is it important to be good at speaking English? Well, English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. It's used in many countries and in many different fields, like business, science, and technology. Being able to speak English fluently can open up so many opportunities for you in the future. Plus, it's just really cool to be able to communicate with people from all over the world! Now, let's talk about how you can get better at speaking English. The first and most important thing is practice, practice, practice! The more you use the language, the more comfortable you'll become with it. Here are some fun ways to practice your English speaking skills:Find a language partner: Ask your English teacher or a friend who's good at English to be your language partner. You can practice conversations with them, and they can help you correct any mistakes you make. It's like having your own personal English tutor!Watch movies and TV shows in English: This is one of my favorite ways to practice! Not only is it fun, but you'll also get to hear how native speakers use the language in real-life situations.Try watching with English subtitles at first, and then gradually move to watching without subtitles.Read out loud: Grab a book or magazine in English and read it out loud. This will help you practice your pronunciation and get more comfortable with how the words sound.Join an English club: Many schools have English clubs where you can meet other students who are learning the language. You can practice speaking with each other, play language games, and even put on skits or plays in English!Listen to English music: Listening to songs in English is a great way to pick up new words and phrases. Plus, singing along is just plain fun!Another important tip is to not be afraid to make mistakes. Making mistakes is a natural part of learning a new language. Don't let fear hold you back from speaking up and practicing. Your teachers and classmates are there to help you, not judge you. It's also helpful to learn about the culture ofEnglish-speaking countries. Understanding the customs, traditions, and ways of thinking can give you a better context for the language and make it easier to communicate. One last piece of advice: be patient with yourself. Learning a new language takes time and effort. There will be days when you feel frustrated or like you're not making any progress. That's okay! Just keep practicing, and eventually, it will all start to click. So, there you have it, my fellow language learners! Follow these tips, and you'll be speaking English like a pro in no time. Remember, practice makes perfect, and with a positive attitude and a little bit of hard work, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.Happy learning!。

练习口语的英语小短文English, a global lingua franca, opens doors to a myriad of opportunities. It is the language of business, academia, and the internet. But beyond its practical applications, learning English can be a joyous journey, especially when approached through conversation. Here's a short narrative on thedelightful experience of practicing English through spoken interactions. The sun was just beginning to set, casting a warm glow overthe bustling city. In a small café, amidst the clatter of cups and the hum of conversation, a group of language enthusiasts gathered. They were there for a common purpose:to practice their English through conversation.Among them was Sarah, a young woman with a passion for languages. She had always been fascinated by the rhythm and melody of English, but it was the spoken word that truly captivated her. Tonight, she was determined to improve her fluency and pronunciation. As the group settled in, the facilitator, a native English speaker named Tom, began the session with a simple icebreaker. "Tell me about your favorite place," he encouraged. Sarah, feeling a bit nervous, took a deep breath and began todescribe her hometown, a quaint village nestled in thecountryside. Her words were initially hesitant, but as she continued, her confidence grew. The conversation flowed from one topic to another, with participants sharing stories about their travels, their cultures, and their dreams. Sarah found herself laughing at a humorous anecdote shared by a fellow learner, and sherealized that the joy of learning a language was not just in the acquisition of vocabulary and grammar, but in the connections made through shared experiences. As the evening progressed, the group tackled more complex topics, such as global issues and personal aspirations. Sarah was amazed at how much she could express in English, even with her limited vocabulary. The supportive environment encouraged her to take risks and to not fear making mistakes.Tom provided gentle corrections and helpful tips, but he also emphasized the importance of enjoying the process. "Language is about communication," he said. "It's not just aboutgetting the words right, but about expressing yourself and understanding others."The session ended with a round of applause and promises to meet again. As Sarah walked home, she felt a sense of accomplishment and excitement. The joy of learning English through conversation was not just about the language itself, but about the community it fostered and the personal growthit facilitated. In the days that followed, Sarah continued to practice. Shespoke with tourists, watched English films, and even started a conversation club at her university. Each interaction, whether smooth or stammered, brought her closer to fluency and to a deeper appreciation of the language. The journey of learning English is not always easy, but when approached with an open heart and a willingness to engage, it can be a source of immense joy and fulfillment. Sarah's story is a testament to the power of conversation in language learning—a power that transcends mere words and touches the very essence of human connection.。

But what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone- but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do. Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person too. A careless word may kindle strife; a cruel word may wreck a life; a timely word may level stress; a loving word may heal and bless. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.【篇⼆】练习⼝语的英语美⽂ 爱要宽容 In order to experience everlasting love in life, you ought to first figure out what is missing in your life and then fill in the gaps. People fall in and out of love because they expect their lovers to be everything to them and do everything for them. They then become dissatisfied when the partner fails to meet all their requirements. If you have a dream of achieving everlasting love you better create your very own life crowned by hobbies, interests and beneficial passions. This makes you a full lover when you enjoy a complete, interesting life on your own. Create a world of your own. On your to-do-list add forgiveness. It is always healthy to forgive while you can, disappointments and sadness is a part of life. Some people find it hard to forgive their partners especially if they happened to catch them cheating on them. Seek professional help from a marriage and relationship counselor. This is an important move towards search for everlasting love. Most buried resentments are the cause to failed marriages and broken relationships. At one time they resurface and blow the present things out of proportion. To find a smooth sail in your love life you have to learn to forgive and move on with a clean slate. Accept changes when they arrive instead of fighting the reality. In life change is inevitable. At one time you will be loved, dumped, married, you will have children, become sick and die. You should acknowledge the happenings in life and move through them strongly. No matter how settled you might be it is good to know that things can change in an instant. Always accept the unexpected. Always find Happiness in what you have and be grateful to own what you have. It is a great secret to everlasting love. Despite the greatest fear and uncertainties of the unknown, when the inevitable things happen you will look back on the good old times and wish that you had been more grateful when things were more colorful. To enjoy your love life you should give thanks every moment and learn to appreciate the small problems we experience because unknown to us they can get worse and some time they probably will. To experience how it feels to have everlasting love, create time for each other as lovers. Many people who are unhappy keep on postponing time to be together. People get caught up in the many and demanding daily activities and forget to get time to live for today. It happens to me and you. There will always be more laundry, more house chores and more errands to be carried out. It is a routine where we retire to bed when we are very exhausted late at night only to awake and follow the same routine again the next day. To live life to the fullest stop at some point and take time for yourself and for each other too. Today might be the only gift you have in life so live like there is no tomorrow. The precious moments we reckon in life are achieved by creating time for them against the much pressure of work. Create such short and fleeting moments everyday to enjoy everlasting love.【篇三】练习⼝语的英语美⽂ Rush 匆匆Swallows may have gone, but there is a time of return; willow trees may have died back, but there is a time of regreening; peach blossoms may have fallen, but they will bloom again. Now, you the wise, tell me, why should our days leave us, never to return? - If they had been stolen by someone, who could it be? Where could he hide them? If they had made the escape themselves, then where could they stay at the moment? 燕⼦去了,有再来的时候;杨柳枯了,有再青的时候;桃花谢了,有再开的时候。

简单英语口语练习文章:Life Can Be CruelThere will be people in your life who won’t be very nice. They’ll tease you because you’re different, or for no good reason. They might try to bully you or hurt you. There’s not much you can do about these people except to learn to deal with them, and learn to choose friends who are kind to you, who actually care about you, who make you feel good about yourself. When you find friends like this, hold on to them, treasure them, spend time with them, be kind to them, love them. There will be times when you are met with disappointment instead of success. Life won’t always turn out the way you want. This is just another thing you’ll have to learn to deal with. But instead of letting these things get you down, push on. Accept disappointment and learn to persevere, to pursue your dreams despite pitfalls. Learn to turn negatives into positives, and you’ll do much better in life. You will also face heartbreak and abandonment by those you love. I hope you don’t have to face this too much, but it happens. Again, not much you can do but to heal, and to move on with your life. Let these pains become stepping stones to better things in life, and learn to use them to make you stronger.生活会很残酷你的生活中一定会有并不友好的人。

英语口语练习小短文English, as a global language, is spoken by millions ofpeople around the world. However, mastering the art ofEnglish pronunciation can be a challenging task for many learners. This short essay aims to provide some insights into the nuances of English pronunciation and offer practical tips for improving one's spoken English.Firstly, understanding the importance of phonetics is crucial. Learning these sounds and their corresponding letters orletter combinations is the first step towards mastering pronunciation.Secondly, practice makes perfect. Repeated practice is thekey to improving pronunciation. It is advisable to listen to native speakers and imitate their speech patterns. Listeningto English songs, watching movies, and engaging in conversations with native speakers are all effective ways to practice.Thirdly, don't be afraid to make mistakes. Making errors is a natural part of the learning process. It is important to embrace these mistakes as opportunities to learn and improve. Seeking feedback from teachers or language partners can be invaluable in identifying areas for improvement.Fourthly, focus on stress and intonation. English is astress-timed language, which means that some syllables are stressed more than others. Paying attention to the rhythm and stress patterns of words can greatly enhance the natural flow of speech. Similarly, intonation—the rise and fall of pitchin speech—is essential for conveying meaning and emotion.Lastly, use technology to your advantage. There are numerous apps and online resources available that can help with pronunciation. These tools often include audio clips, quizzes, and feedback mechanisms that can provide instant corrections and guidance. In conclusion, mastering English pronunciation is a journey that requires patience, practice, and the willingness tolearn from mistakes. By focusing on phonetics, engaging in regular practice, embracing errors, and utilizing available technology, one can significantly improve their spokenEnglish and communicate more effectively with others.。

In the dense complex world of atropical forest, it is more important to see well than to develop an acute sense of smell. In the course of evolution members of the primate line have acquired large eyes while the snout has shrunk to give the eye an unimpededview.人类的视觉,和其它灵长目动物的一样,是在丛林环境中进化出来的。

Of mammals only humans and some primates enjoy color vision. The red flag is black to the bull. Horses live in amonochrome world.Light visible to human eyes however occupies only a very narrow band in the whole electromagnetic spectrum. Ultraviolet rays are invisible to humans though ants and honeybees are sensitive to them. Humans have no direct perception of infrared rays unlike the rattlesnake which has receptors tuned into wavelengths longer than 0.7 micron. The world would look eerily different if human eyes were sensitive to infrared radiation. Then instead of the darkness of night, we would be able to move easily in a strange shadowless world where objects glowed with varying degrees of intensity.在哺乳类动物中,只有人和一些灵长目动物能够分辨颜色。

Their two-year study found that evenselective logging in protected forests opened up the canopy enough to dry out the undergrowth and make it catch fire more easily. To measure the impact of human activity on the rainforest, the team counted 2,000 species of trees, insects and birds, comparing biodiversity with the amount of forest cover, and you can hear the difference. While a pristine undisturbed rainforest sounds like this (sound), far fewer species contribute to the chorus when the forest is degraded (sound). This large-scale study showed that areas with 80% forest cover lost up to half their biodiversity.练习英语口语文章二Hands-free phone use by drivers 'distracting' 研究称使用免提电话同样会使驾驶员分心研究人员发现,在开车时使用手机免提功能通话和拿着手机通话对驾驶员注意力的.干扰不相上下。

A good book is like a good friend. You should read as many booksas you possibly can. You shouldn't just take a quick look at a book. You should read it carefullyagain and again. All I do is gettinginto my car and go to work every day. This life is too hard. I need to make a fresh start.篇二:英语口语练习的小短文funeral inevitableHello, everyone. Please look at this picture, let me describe it for you. At first, we can easilyfind the topic of this picture is “ Nobody knows when the last goodbye is ” . Then this picture shows us a circumstance which the four guys are together saying goodbye to each other. Unfortunately, they will all fall into funeral in the next second, such as traffic accident 、 falling in the sewer 、knocking down the tree and steeping on a sharps. All of this misfortune may take away their lifeand lead to this goodbye be the last goodbye. As we all know, something in our life are inevitable. There are some things which is boundto happen. Just like we will never foresee what will occur in the next second or whenever we willlost our life. In the other hand, We can't change the past, not predict the future, but we can graspnow. Therefore, we can't afford to waste the life each points every second, in other words, wecannot leave blank and regret in life, because nobody knows when the last goodbye is.appetiteregionThere are many kinds of delicious food on the picture. And it is about a TV show named “abite of china o be” .honest,T this program aroused my appetite. We can know that this new TV show named "A Bite of China" that takes the fine foods asthe theme has beaten many TV series, becoming extremely popular on the microblog and turninginto the hottest topic. Chinese people are proud of the food culture of China and some evenpraise this program by saying that "it is a best patriotic video."This TV show shows many unique characteristics of the Chinese food, it not only shows many delicious foods around us, but also shows the Chinese diet culture to foreigners. It had made a great attention among the whole society. And the most important effect is that this TVshow provides an opportunity for Chinese people, which every one of us start to find the delicious food that exist in our life. Because every region has different food culture, we can introduce it to our friends, to everyone. I like watching this TV show. And as soon as I watch it, Ican feel my life is full of hope and I will forget all of the unhappy things and become more happyand satisfied. Sometimes I even can find my familiar food and the food in my hometown. So I loveit! I hope this TV show continues to broadcast.independencecapabilityAccording to this picture, we can see that there is a potted flower growing in greenhouse. Itis free from danger and the thunder or rain will not hurt it. No matter how terrible the external environment is, the flower still grows freely. However, when it left the greenhouse, and the potted flower without any protection, it will be defeated by the thunderstorm lightning and thendied. The child spoiled by their parents is just like the flower growing in greenhouse. Today in China, the only-one child policy has made more and more parents pay so much attention to their children, and parents would like to replace their children to do everything, including study, workand even marriage. This has given to many problems for children -ups. The children’sgrowusually doted upon by all family members. Gradually some of them get used to depending on their parents and lack the capability to solve problems independently. Some children even lack basiclife skills, which is harmful to their growth. So, I think too much care can be harmful to children. Therefore, our parents should learn tohelp their children to be independent. It is good for the children, because no parents can accompany the children for the whole life. It is the child himself who is responsible for her ownfate. Only an independent person can live and succeed in this world.reflectignoreFrom this picture, we can see that a man fall into a river accidentally, and he raised his hands to ask others for help. But the people standing by the river are unwilling to help him andthey all take out the phone to take pictures. And the other picture, an old man fell down, but the passers-by all left, no one want to help the old man stand up.So, this two pictures reflect a social problem which people dare not show their helping hands to those in need. For most people, when they meet the situation as the pictures saying, they dare not to help others and choose to ignore it. So should we help others in need?As we all know, helping others has always been a virtue in traditional Chinese culture. Butwhat ’strange nowadays is that people dare not show their helping hands to those in need. I think people ’ s moral sense has degraded, many people find it growingly hard to help others. Then, there is no denying that some tragic events turn out to be traps by people with evil intentions. So people are becoming more risk-conscious.In general, I contend the idea that we should be warm-hearted and help others in need.Only in this way can we live in a more peaceful happy life.holiday relaxFrom this pic ture, we can see that a child is locked in the cage by his father. And he cananything. This child wants to play football, climb mountains, ride a bike and play with his friends. But his father looks very unhappy, and worried about his child The father’worriedssafetythat.his child will meet traffic accident and fall into the river. And he also concerned about his childwas bullied by some bad guys. So, this picture describes a very common phenomenon in oursociety which parents set limits on their children's freedoms due to worried them too much. The summer vacation is supposed to be a holiday in which children can relax themselves. But now parents worry too much about their children’ s safety, so parents let them stay at home rather than let them go out to play. In my opinion, this behavior completely limits the freedom ofchildren. Parents should give their children a little more free space, let them do what they want. Ithink parents should spend more time to accompany their children. And parents should believethat their children have enough ability to deal with their personal matters.篇三:英语口语作文练习1.My favourite book is written by JK Rowling, the Harry Potter series. 精选口语学习文章·The Apple TreeA long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and lay around it every day. He climbed to the tree top, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow… He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him.很久很久以前,有一棵又高又大的苹果树。

一位小男孩,天天到树下来,他爬上去摘苹果吃,在树荫下睡觉。

他爱苹果树,苹果树也爱和他一起玩耍。

Time went by… the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad. “Come and play with me,” the tree asked the boy. “I am no longer a kid, I don't play around trees anymore.” The boy replied, “I want toys. I need money to buy them.”“ Sorry , but I don't have money…but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.” The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.后来,小男孩长大了,不再天天来玩耍。

一天他又来到树下,很伤心的样子。

苹果树要和他一起玩,男孩说:“不行,我不小了,不能再和你玩,我要玩具,可是没钱买。

”苹果树说:“很遗憾,我也没钱,不过,把我所有的果子摘下来卖掉,你不就有钱了?”男孩十分激动,他摘下所有的苹果,高高兴兴地走了。

然后,男孩好久都没有来。

苹果树很伤心。

One day, the boy returned and the tree was so excited. “Come and play with me,” the tree said. “I don't have time to play.I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?”“Sorry, but I don't have a house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house.” So the boy cut all the branches off the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.有一天,男孩终于来了,树兴奋地邀他一起玩。

男孩说:“不行,我没有时间,我要替家里干活呢,我们需要一幢房子,你能帮忙吗?”“我没有房子,”苹果树说,“不过你可以把我的树枝统统砍下来,拿去搭房子。

”于是男孩砍下所有的树枝,高高兴兴地运走去盖房子。

看到男孩高兴树好快乐。

从此,男孩又不来了。

树再次陷入孤单和悲伤之中。

One hot summer day, the boy returned and the tree was delighted. “Come and play with me!” the tree said. “I am sad and getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?”“Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.” So the boy cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time. The tree was happy, but it was not true.一年夏天,男孩回来了,树太快乐了:“来呀!孩子,来和我玩呀。

”男孩却说:“我心情不好,一天天老了,我要扬帆出海,轻松一下,你能给我一艘船吗?”苹果树说:“把我的树干砍去,拿去做船吧!”于是男孩砍下了她的树干,造了条船,然后驾船走了,很久都没有回来。

树好快乐……但不是真的。

Finally, the boy returned after he left for so many years. “Sorry, my boy. But I don't have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you…” the tree said.“I don't have teeth to bite,” the boy replied.“No more trunk for you to climb on.”“I am too old for that now,” the boy said.许多年过去,男孩终于回来,苹果树说:“对不起,孩子,我已经没有东西可以给你了,我的苹果没了。

”男孩说:“我的牙都掉了,吃不了苹果了。

”苹果树又说:“我再没有树干,让你爬上来了。

”男孩说:“我太老了,爬不动了。

”“I really can't give you anything… the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with tears.“I don't need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years.” The boy replied.“Good! Old tree roots is the best place to lean on and rest. Come, Come sit down with me and rest.” The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears。

“我再也没有什么给得出手了……,只剩下枯死下去的老根,”树流着泪说。

男孩说:“这么多年过去了,现在我感到累了,什么也不想要,只要一个休息的地方。

”“好啊!老根是最适合坐下来休息的,来啊,坐下来和我一起休息吧!”男孩坐下来,苹果树高兴得流下了眼泪。

This is a story of everyone. The tree is our parent. When we were young, we loved to play with Mom and Dad… When we grown up, we left them, and only came to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could to make you happy. Youmay think that the boy is cruel to the tree but that's how all of us are treating our parents.这就是我们每个人的故事。

这颗树就是我们的父母。

小时候,我们喜欢和爸爸妈妈玩。

长大后,我们就离开他们,只在需要什么东西或者遇到麻烦的时候,才回到他们身边。

无论如何,父母永远都在那儿,倾其所有使你快乐。

你可能认为这个男孩对树很残酷,但这就是我们每个人对待父母的方式。

·Movie---starstruckI recently watched a movie called Starstruck, which was a Disney movie, talking about how a famous pop star, Christopher, fell in love with an ordinary girl, Jessica. The movie was filmed in Los Angeles and was on in February 2010, not too old.I chose it because of the ranking, but when I actually watched it, I realized that it was a teen's movie. However, I didn't regret watching it because I think I learned something from the movie. It is interesting because it sees celebrity life from another angle and tells us that we are blessed to be common people because there is more freedom for us to enjoy. In the film, it shows us how hard it might be when a person can't make his own choices and decisions. At that point, material wealth will not matter to them because they can't live their life the way they really want to.It helped me to reflect on my own life. Now I see I should just enjoy my life because everyone has the right to enjoy his or her life no matter who he or she is.更多精彩内容就在:北京新航道北京环球雅思 。
