Nowadays, many universities are raising their students’ tuition. In some cases, the raises are quite substantial. While many students are not pleased with these increase, there are some legitimate reasons for the hikes. First, universities are constantly striving to upgrade their educational quality. Since fewer people are attending college these days, schools must fight for all the students they can get. One ideal way to attract students is to ensure that the school provides them with an outstanding education. Also, by increasing the school’s academic rank, the school will attract more students and better ones. Since it costs money to enhance the quality of education, the school’s budget must increase. Therefore, tuition must also go up.
