外语等级考试作文:机器翻译2015年外语等级考试作文范文:机器翻译【题目预测】Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a composition on the topic Machine Translation and Human Translation. You should write at least 120 words, and base your composition on the outline (given in Chinese) below:1)现在诸多的电子辞典及相关翻译软件被开发出来,人们不再需要翻阅厚重的字典。

2)有人认为以后机器翻译会完全取代人工翻译。

3)你是否同意这种观点,为什么?【参考范文】Machine Translation and Human Translation In recent years, all kinds of electronic dictionaries and translation software have been developed. With the development of technology, these electronic dictionaries and software can help us translate not only words and phrases but even sentences and paragraphs. So some people come to the conclusion that machine translation will replace traditional human translation. However, I couldn't agree with this argument. Admittedly, translation machines and software bring much convenience for our study and our work. With them, we needn't bother to leaf through the heavy dictionaries. However, machine translation has its disadvantages. First, generally speaking, translation software only can give direct translation, which is sometimes not in accordance with the original articles in logic and meaning. Second, some people depend on electronic dictionaries and software too much, which is unfavorable to their improvement in language ability. Considering the above-mentioned, I think that machinetranslation cannot replace human translation, but it is a good complementary to human translation. Therefore, we should combine machine translation with human translation efficiently.【参考译文】机器翻译和人工翻译近年来,各种各样的电子词典和翻译软件被开发出来。

Topic: Some people say that computers can translate all kinds of languages. Therefore, children do not need to learn foreign languages any more. What's your position? Sample answer: With the rapid development of computer science, computer can translate all kinds of languages. Therefore, some people say that children need not study foreign languages any more. From my point of view, I think computer will never take the place of human beings. Firstly, language is closely related to a country's culture. Through language study, students can know the culture of a country. For example, if you study English, you can know a lot of things about English literature, English poetry,English festivals and English customs. I am English major. I like English romantic poems very much. The beautiful verses by Shalley, Burns and other famous English poets are still very popular in modern literature. We also enjoy some English festivals like Halloween, April Fools Day and Christmas, when people celebrate in night clubs and bars and have a lot of fun. Secondly, computer is only a machine, whose programs are designed and written by human beings. Without an intimate knowledge of foreign languages and translation, we cannot write an efficient translation programs for computers, which will be a cold machine and become useless. Lastly, language study can cultivate a child's intelligence. Language is a unique ability of our human beings. Language study can improve children‘s audio ability. They can distinguish the subtle differences of pronunciation and rhythm. However, we don‘t deny the advantages computer takes us. We have to read some foreign articles and materials in our study and work. Some translation softwares can give us an immediate explanation of some difficult words, which saves us a lot of valuable time. To sum up, computer will never take the place of our human beings as a translator or an interpreter, because their ability is decided by human beings. (289 words)。

下面我就和大家共享雅思写作题型的2种分类方法和题目举例,盼望能够关心到大家,来观赏一下吧。

雅思写作题型的2种分类方法和题目举例雅思写作分类-按行文规律分类雅思写作有哪些题型?数一数,我们可以分为五类;观点类(agree or disagree),争论类(discuss both views and give your own opinion),优劣势(advantages outweigh the disadvantages),报告文(why and solution)以及混合类(why?positive or negative development)。

许多考生都会认为观点类、争论类以及优劣势的文章都可以用一种写作结构。

其实不然。

每一种题型都有属于自己的写作结构,其中争论类是最需要留意的。

下面陈蜀东老师就特地针对争论类的文章给大家具体分析。

通常状况下,争论类题目的提问方式是:Discuss both views and give your own opinion。

Successful sports professions can earn a great deal more money than people in other important professions. Some people think this is fully justified while others think it is unfair.Discuss both views and give your own opinion.胜利的体育职业比从事其他重要职业的人能挣多得多的钱。

未来还有学习外语的必要英文作文

未来还有学习外语的必要英文作文

未来还有学习外语的必要英文作文Is Language Learning Still Relevant in the Future? In the rapidly evolving landscape of globalization and technological advancements, the relevance of language learning as a skill warrants careful consideration. While some argue that advancements in machine translation and artificial intelligence (AI) will render language learning obsolete, a comprehensive examination of the issue reveals that the need for language learning remains as crucial as ever in the future. The Persistence of Cultural Nuances.Despite the increasing ubiquity of translation tools, the intricate tapestry of cultural nuances woven into language cannot be fully captured by algorithms. Language is an integral part of a culture's identity, reflecting its unique perspectives, values, and worldview. The ability to navigate cultural contexts, bridge communication gaps, andfoster meaningful connections hinges on a deep understanding of the target language's cultural underpinnings. The Challenges of Nonverbal Communication. While machine translation can provide a rudimentary understanding of the spoken or written word, it fails to account for the myriad nuances of nonverbal communication. Intonation, body language, facial expressions, and cultural gestures convey significant meaning that can be lost in translation. Language learning enables individuals to decode these subtle cues, ensuring effective communication and building rapport in cross-cultural interactions. The Booming Global Economy. The interconnectedness of the global economy necessitates the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Proficiency in multiple languages expands business opportunities, fosters collaboration, and facilitates seamless global trade.Language learning is particularly valuable in industries such as international business, diplomacy, tourism, and education, where effective communication is paramount.Cognitive Benefits.Language learning has been shown to enhance cognitive abilities, including memory, attention, and problem-solving. Engaging with a foreign language challenges the brain to process and comprehend new structures, expanding cognitive flexibility and improving overall mental agility. Studies have also linked language learning to improved academic performance and greater success in STEM fields.Cultural Empathy and Understanding.Proficiency in a foreign language opens doors to aworld of literature, cinema, music, and art. Through language, individuals gain firsthand access to different perspectives, fostering cultural empathy and understanding. Language learning promotes tolerance, appreciation for diversity, and a broader worldview, making individuals moreinformed and compassionate global citizens.AI and Language Learning. While AI cannot fully replace human language learners, it can serve as a valuable tool to enhance the learning process. Language learning apps, virtual assistants, and machine translation can provide supplemental support, personalize learning experiences, and facilitate immersion in the target language. However, it is essential to recognize that AI is a complement to, not a substitute for, traditional language learning methods.Conclusion.The future holds a myriad of opportunities and challenges, but the relevance of language learning remains undiminished. While advancements in technology will undoubtedly transform the way we learn languages, theability to communicate effectively across linguistic and cultural boundaries will continue to be an indispensable skill. Embracing language learning is not merely aboutacquiring a new vocabulary but about unlocking a world of cultural understanding, fostering global collaboration, and enriching our cognitive abilities. In the face of an increasingly interconnected and multilingual future, the need for language learning is more profound than ever before.。

机器翻译和人工翻译-大学英语作文

学术英语作文机器翻译是否会代替人工翻译In the past decades, artificial intelligence has brought the light of reform to many areas, translation industry included. The new reform brought us machine translation. As an increasing popular topic, it has inspired people to think that maybe one day, they no longer need to learn foreign languages because machine translation will replace human translation. Though it is not 100% correct, there remains some reasonality within.Last year, A research team from Microsoft claimed that their machine translation (MT) system has achieved the level of professional human translators when it comes to general news report.Meanwhile, Google Translate tool has surpassed the proficiency of some advanced learners. And on Baidu World Conference, Yanhong Li showcased a real-time translation developed by his company.A trend revealed by all those tech giants’ news ——an accurate and real-time translation by machine is promising in the future.Meanwhile, new techniques emerge constantly, accelerating the smartness and depth of machine learning. Taking neural network for example……(待补充70词)Thus, In the coming future, there’s no need for common people to learn foreign languages. Once the translation machines are smart and powerful enough to deal with academic environment and daily life while also portable to be carried with, people will use them to travel, study and live all around the world without language barriers. It will just look like the scenery in the movie The Wondering Earth -- Astronauts from various countries talk in their mother tongue. At the same time, a mini equipment installed in their suits translate their words. However, if youaspire to be a linguist, you are still in need of the basic knowledge of languages. Because nor the linguist features or the aesthetics in literature of a certain language can be understood unless you know the original language. So, in the foreseeable future, people can depend highly on machine translation in their cross-cultural communications and academic career, which means a dominant amount of the translation work can be done by machine rather than humans. Though linguists still need a certain level of language proficiency, the translation works done by those experts will only accounts for a tiny part of all the translation world. (=结尾段+主题段)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------, the beauty of Chinese ancient poetry or Japanese Haiku can’t be fully appreciated in the form of English; The inversion of English and the ellipsis of Chinese can’t be deeply understood if you don’t know those languages. To make it short, linguists and all language learners still need to learn foreign language.。

Therefore it is not necessary for childrentolearn a foreign language. What’s your opinion? 随着机器翻译技术的发展,孩⼦需要学习外语吗? [雅思作⽂/写作范⽂](Sample 1) With the rapid development of modern science, computers havebeenplaying a more important role in our daily lives. It is suchaworldwide trend that there is no exception for Chinese. Many people regard the computer as the magic machine. It cansolvemany problems quickly and efficiently, and best of all, itcantranslate all kinds of languages. By using the computer you canjustput ail the original versions into it and then you will getthe fasttranslation. So some parents raise doubts about thenecessity fortheir children to learn foreign languages so hard anymore. At first thought, it seems that the computers can really helpusto do so. But if you look in- sue the matter deeply, you may findadifferent answer. First of all, machines can never puters are created by man and are controlled by humanbrains. Wecan never rely too much on machines; otherwise we willbecome theslave of them one day. On the contrary, we need to enrichourknowledge as much as possible so that we can catch up with thefastpace of the world. It is very necessary to learn more languagessoas to upgrade our abilities to follow the progress oftheworld. And furthermore, it will do good to children if they learnmorelanguages. Both their brain and their thinking modules canbenefitfrom it. When they grow up, they can easily accept variouskinds ofcultures and communicate with foreigners, which canfavorablyenhance the mutual understanding and developinternationalbrotherhood. So, we can clearly see that, though computers can begoodtranslators, people still need to learn more languages with aviewto improving their abilities and facilitating theirfuturecommunication with people from othercultures. [雅思作⽂/写作范⽂](Sample2) An argument occasionally these days is that some peopleoftenthink machine translation can take place of the childrensstudy ofa foreign language. As far as I am concerned, I canttotally agreewith this opinion. It first comes to the point that machine translation is nothighefficiency. The human language is so complex that nowadays nosuchmachine can translate one language to another sufficientlyandtotally. The machine can only provide some words or piecesofhalf-baked sentences. So we human beings, especially children, maynot rely on this kind of machine, at least recently. On the other hand, if the real machine that the whole sentencecanbe translated completely turn to reality, children shouldnotbetaught not study a foreign language. The reason is thelanguage(especially speaking) is made up of not only the grammarand wordsbut also tones and mood. And when children are studying alanguage,he is not discovering an unknown area, but wild his logicandideation. Additionally, even if the machine will be out of workoneday occasionally in future, he can talk with otherforeignersfreely. Frankly, the loss of language sensitivity is much popularthesedays. Many peoples speaking and grammar is terrible.Childrenoften study wrong speaking from annoying TV programs anduntrainedbroadcasters. The invention of translation machine willmake itworse. The problem whether to teach the boys and girlsforeignlanguages or not needs to be treated seriously. In a word, in modern society the translation machine isstealingour sensitivity of the language. People should do somethingtoprevent the loss of language ability, especially inthechildhood.。

对机器翻译的看法英语作文英文回答:Machine translation (MT) has rapidly evolved in recent years, becoming an increasingly indispensable tool for communication and knowledge sharing. It allows us to break down language barriers and access information and ideas from around the world. However, while MT has made significant progress, it still faces some challenges and limitations. One of the main benefits of MT is its ability to quickly and efficiently translate large volumes of text. This can be especially useful for businesses and organizations that need to communicate with customers or partners who speak different languages. For example, a multinational corporation may use MT to translate its marketing materials into multiple languages, ensuring that its message reaches a global audience.Another advantage of MT is that it can help us to understand foreign languages better. By using MT to translate texts from a language we don't know into our own language, we can get a basic understanding of the content. This can be helpful for researchers, students, and anyone else who needs to access information from foreign sources. For instance, a student studying history may use MT to translate primary source documents from a language theydon't speak, allowing them to gain insights into historical events. However, MT also has some limitations. One of the main challenges is that MT systems can sometimes produce inaccurate or unnatural translations. This is because MT systems rely on algorithms and statistical models to translate text, and these models are not always perfect. For example, an MT system may translate the sentence "The cat sat on the mat" as "The cat sat on the rug." While the translation is technically correct, it is not as natural as a human translator would produce.Another limitation of MT is that it can be difficultfor MT systems to translate idioms and cultural references. Idioms are expressions that have a figurative meaning that cannot be understood by simply translating the individual words. For example, the idiom "kick the bucket" means "to die," but an MT system may translate it literally as "kick the bucket." This can lead to confusion and misunderstandings.Despite these limitations, MT is a powerful tool that can be used to overcome language barriers and access information from around the world. As MT systems continue to improve, we can expect to see even more applications for this technology in the future.中文回答:机器翻译(MT)近年来快速发展,成为交流和知识共享日益不可或缺的工具。

对机器翻译的看法英语作文Machine Translation: A Revolutionary Breakthrough or a Threat to Linguistic Diversity?Introduction:In today's globalized world, communication plays avital role in connecting people from different cultures and languages. With the advent of technology, machine translation has emerged as a powerful tool in bridging the language gap. While some view it as a revolutionary breakthrough that facilitates cross-cultural understanding, others raise concerns about its impact on linguistic diversity. This essay aims to explore both the advantages and disadvantages of machine translation and provide a balanced perspective on this controversial topic.Advantages of Machine Translation:1. Enhancing Communication: Machine translation enablesindividuals to communicate with people from different linguistic backgrounds without the need for human translators. It breaks down language barriers andfacilitates the exchange of ideas, fostering global understanding and cooperation.2. Time and Cost Efficiency: Traditional translation methods can be time-consuming and expensive. Machine translation, on the other hand, provides instantaneous results, saving both time and money. This is particularly beneficial in business settings, where quick and accurate translation is essential for effective communication.3. Accessibility: Machine translation has made vast amounts of information available to individuals who previously faced language barriers. It allows people to access literature, research papers, and other valuable resources in their native language, thus promoting equal opportunities for knowledge acquisition.4. Language Learning Aid: Machine translation can serve as a useful tool for language learners. By providinginstantaneous translations, it helps learners understand unfamiliar words and phrases, improving their overall language proficiency. This can be particularly beneficial for beginners who need assistance in grasping the basics of a foreign language.Disadvantages of Machine Translation:1. Loss of Nuances and Context: One of the major limitations of machine translation is its inability to capture the subtleties of language. It often fails to understand idiomatic expressions, cultural references, and context-specific meanings, leading to inaccurate translations that may misrepresent the original message.2. Lack of Cultural Understanding: Language is deeply intertwined with culture, and machine translation struggles to capture this intricate relationship. It may overlook cultural nuances, resulting in translations that are culturally inappropriate or offensive. This can hinder effective communication and may even lead to misunderstandings or conflicts.3. Quality and Accuracy: Despite significant advancements, machine translation still falls short interms of quality and accuracy compared to human translation. It may produce grammatically incorrect sentences, inconsistent terminology, or ambiguous translations. This can be particularly problematic in legal, medical, or technical domains where precision is crucial.4. Threat to Linguistic Diversity: Machinetranslation's widespread use may lead to a decline in the importance of learning foreign languages. As reliance on machine translation increases, fewer people may bemotivated to invest time and effort in language acquisition. This could potentially endanger linguistic diversity and cultural heritage, as languages with fewer speakers mayface the risk of extinction. Conclusion:Machine translation undoubtedly offers numerous advantages in terms of enhancing communication, accessibility, and cost efficiency. However, it also has limitations and potential drawbacks that need to be addressed. While it can serve as a valuable tool for language learners and facilitate global understanding, it should not replace the significance of human translators and the cultural nuances they bring to the table. Striking a balance between machine translation and human translation is crucial to ensure accurate and culturally sensitive communication in our increasingly interconnected world.。

机器翻译的作文英文Paragraph 1:Hey there! So, have you ever wondered how machine translation works? Well, it's pretty fascinating. You see, machine translation is all about using computers to automatically translate text from one language to another. It's like having a super smart language robot that can understand and convert words and sentences in the blink of an eye. Cool, right?Paragraph 2:Now, let's talk about the challenges of machine translation. It's not as easy as it sounds! One majorhurdle is dealing with the nuances and complexities of different languages. Languages have their own unique grammar rules, idioms, and cultural references. So,teaching a machine to understand and translate these subtleties is no small feat. But hey, we're making progress!Paragraph 3:Speaking of progress, let's dive into the different approaches to machine translation. There are rule-based systems, statistical models, and even neural networks.Rule-based systems rely on predefined grammar rules and dictionaries, while statistical models analyze large amounts of bilingual text to make translations. 对机器翻译的看法英语作文Machine translation, also known as MT, is the use of software to translate text from one language to another. With the rapid development of technology, machine translation has become more and more popular in recent years. However, the accuracy and quality of machine translation are still controversial issues. In this essay, I will discuss my opinion on machine translation. On the one hand, machine translation has many advantages. Firstly, it can save time and money. With the help of machine translation, people can easily translate large amounts of text in a short period of time, which is very efficient and cost-effective. Secondly, machine translation can help people communicate with each other more easily. It can break down language barriers and enable people from different countries to understand each other better. Finally, machine translation can be a useful tool for language learners. It can help them understand the meaning of words and sentences, and improve their languageskills. On the other hand, machine translation also has many disadvantages. Firstly, the accuracy of machine translation is not always reliable. Machine translation cannot understand the context or the cultural nuances of a language, which can lead to errors in translation. Secondly, machine translation cannot replace human translators. Human translators can understand the nuances of a language andcan provide accurate translations that accurately conveythe meaning of the original text. Finally, machine translation can lead to the loss of jobs for human translators. As machine translation becomes more advanced,it may replace the need for human translators, which can be a concern for those who depend on translation as a profession. In my opinion, machine translation can be a useful tool, but it cannot replace human translators. Machinetranslation can be used to translate simple texts or to get a general idea of the meaning of a text. However, for more complex texts or for texts that require a high level ofaccuracy, human translators are still needed. Machine translation should be used as a supplement to human translation, not as a replacement. In conclusion, machine translation has both advantages and disadvantages. It can save time and money, break down language barriers, and help language learners. However, it cannot always provide accurate translations, cannot replace human translators, and can lead to the loss of jobs. Therefore, machine translation should be used with caution and should not replace human translators.。

(Sample 1)
With the rapid development of modern science, computers havebeenplaying a more important role in our daily lives.
[雅思作文/写作范文](Sample2)
An argument occasionally these days is that some peopleoftenthink machine translation can take place of the childrensstudy ofa foreign language.
On the other hand, if the real machine that the whole sentencecanbe translated completely turn to reality, children should notbetaught not study a foreign language.
