(2014·威海高三模拟)A high school student is under investigation (调查) for reportedly driving more than 200 kilometers per hour.The 17-year-old student at Shenzhen Yangang Middle School, surnamed Qin, posted a photo of a car’s dashboard (仪表板) — with a speedometer showing 200 kilometers per hour —on his microblog at 11：10 pm Saturday.The photo drew attention not only from other bloggers but also from Shenzhen traffic police, who wrote on the department’s microblog that the photo was being used as evidence in an investigation.Police also warned the student about dangerous driving.

The photo received more than 60,000 hits in 20 hours, along with some criticism that told the student he was risking his life at such speeds.

Police investigations showed that Qin has no driving experience or driver’s license, and Qin’s father’s car wasn’t the one that was shown in the posted photo.Qin, a microblog enthusiast, told police he had found the photo on the Internet on his way to a nightclub in an illegal taxi and posted it on his microblog to attract fans and page hits.Qin told police he got the idea when he saw vehicles passing the taxi.He captioned the photo by saying his car had just reached 200 kilometers per hour.Qin deleted the photo and changed his microblog name after he saw the response from police.Police said Qin couldn’t prove he wasn’t involved in racing and it was possible that he went to the nightclub after racing cars.

According to Qin’s teacher, surnamed Gao, Qin has more than 1,000 followers of his microblog.The school’s headmaster, Wang Jingyi, said they would strengthen legal education for students.
