It is exciting to visit different places. As you travel, you will see beautiful sceneries typical of the region. Besides, you can meet and make friends with people of different colors and races. Today people are so fond of traveling that tourism has become one of the developing industries in most countries.Recent years have seen a tendency in China that tourism is growing faster. According to a recent survey made by some experts, about 47% urban residents travel regularly, and 28% rural residents also make their tour across the country. The survey also shows that more people are interested in tourism, and will join the army in the future.Facing this tendency, we can't help exploring some underlying factors that are responsible. In the very first place, with the policy of reform and opening up, Chinese people's living standard has greatly been improved, and therefore, most of them can afford to travel around. What's more, it is believed that people now take a more positive attitude to tourism. In addition, tourism facilities are becoming better and better. For example, transportation develops fast, and many scenic spots are available now.Though there are still some problems with tourism, I personally believe that tourism should be playing a key role in our life. I also hope that our government will make policies to create a better environment for tourists.[写作内容](1) 以约30个词概括短文的要点;(2) 然后以约120个词就“旅游的好处”的主题发表看法,并包括如下要点:① 体验不同地方的美景、美食,出国旅游更是给人们提供一个远离祖国的机会;② 了解风土人情,拓宽历史、地理、生物等知识,增强爱国意识。

Social robots are about to bring technology to the everyday world in a more humanized way, said Cynthia Breazeal, chief scientist at the robot company Jibo. While household robots today do the normal housework, social robots will be much more like companions than mere tools. For example, these robots will be able to distinguish when someone is happy or sad. This allows them to respond more appropriately to the user. The Jibo robot, arranged to ship later this year, is designed to be a personalized assistant. You can talk to the robot, ask it questions, and make requests for it to perform different tasks. The robot doesn’t just deliver general answers to questions; it responds based on what itlearns about each individual in the household. They have potential applications in everything from education to health care and are already finding their way into some of these spaces.Fellow Robots is one company bringing social robots to the market. It can also speak different languages and make recommendations for different items based on what the customer is shopping for.The more interaction the robot has with humans, the more it learns. This lesson about family unity stayed with the daughters as they grew up.Helene An and her family own a large restaurant business in California. However, when Helene and her husband Danny left their home in Vietnam in 1975, they didn't have much money. They moved their family to San Francisco. The five daughters helped in therestaurant when they were young. However, Helene did not want her daughters to always work in the family business because she thought it was too hard.Eventually the girls all graduated from college and went away to work for themselves, but one by one, the daughters returned to work in the family business. They opened new restaurants in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Even though family members sometimes disagreed with each other, they worked together to make the business successful. Daughter Elisabeth explains, "Our mother taught us that to succeed we must have unity, and to have unity we must have peace. Without the strength of the family, there is no business."Their expanding business became a large corporation in 1996, with three generations of Ans working together. This is not due to a lack of desire to socialize, but the smartphone. At parties, more people are on their smartphones than on their drinks. According to a recent International Data Corporation study, well over half of all Americans have a smartphone and reach for it the moment they wake up, keeping it in hand all day. In addition, too many people in society are using smartphones while driving and as a result, they get into car crashes. 34 percent of teenagers admit to texting while driving, and they confirm that text messaging is their number one driving interruption. People’s attachment to their smartphones is unbelievably becoming more important than the lives of themselves and others.Just as drivers dismiss the importance of focusing while on the road, many people also fail to recognize the significance of human interaction. When with their friends, some people pointlessly check or send text messages in the presence of a friend, which sends a message to that friend: the person I am texting is more important than you. In addition, relying on our smartphones to make friends does not give us the same advantage as being able to make new friendships in the real world. Face-to-face conversations will give us much stronger communication skills in the long run.As many people risk their lives and the lives of people around them just to send a text or mindlessly check their massages, smartphones are in many ways more dangerous to people. The quality of this technology is hindering societal achievements and weakening the value of communication. Not only is the smartphone affecting our desire to interact(交流)face-to-face but it is also lowering society’s ability to communicate.30.The purpose of this text is to ______.A. call for an end to use the smartphone while drivingB. appeal to us to pay attention to communication skillsC. express a concern about the overuse of the smartphoneD. advise us to be cautious about the addiction to the smartphone31.The second paragraph is developed ______.A. by examplesB. by comparisonC. by timeD. by classification32.What’s the author’s attitude towards making friends by using smartphones?A. Neutral.B. Positive.C. Ambiguous.D. Negative.33.Over dependence on the smartphone leads to the fact that ______.A. parties and gatherings limit their social circleB. people are more and more narrow-mindedC. people's communication skills are weakenedD. face-to-face communication becomes less importantDThe hit movie Finding Nemo follows a clownfish from the Great Barrier Reef.In real life, clownfish are among the thousands of colorful sea creatures that call the Great Barrier Reef home.Stretching l,250 miles along Australia' s northeastern.coast, the Great Barrier Reef is the longest coral reef in the world.A coral reef is a living underwater structure. But these days, the Great Barrier Reef has found itself in trouble.Overfishing, pollution, and high temperatures are harming its health. That's whythe government in Australia is trying to help rescue the reef.Underwater GardenWhile coral may look like a plant, it is actually made up of tiny sea animal. Those sea animals are called coral polyps. As polyps die, they leave hard.shells behind.Other polyps grow on top of the shells.Over thousands of years, they form a coral reef in warm water that is not very deep.In many ways, the Great Barrier Reef resembles an underwater garden.Coral can be hard or soft.It forms in different colors and in strange shapes. Some coral looks like hardened brains.Other coral looks like fans and lettuces. The reef bursts with schools of tropical fish, dashing among gaps in the coral. The reef supplies food.and.shelter to creatures living in and around the coral.Turtles, sharks, sea horses, and crabs are among its many inhabitants.Helping HumansWhile the reef is important to ocean life, it helps humans, too.People rely on the reef for both food and jobs.It also provides medicine used to treat disease. Each year, the Great Barrier Reef contributes about $ 975 million to the economy through tourism and fishing.Stressed OutIs it surprising, then, that the Great Barrier Reef is under too much stress? Fishing nets and ships break off sections and damage the reef.Air and water pollution are also doing harm.At the same time, warmer sea temperatures have caused coral bleaching(漂白)on half of the reef. The high temperatures cause the coral to turn white, often killing it.Reef RescueIn an effort to help save the reef, the government has limited fishing to two thirds of it.That plan increases the number of "green zones.”Those are areas that are off -limits to fishermen and boats. However, tourists and researchers can still visit them. Many fishermen are upset about the plan because they rely on the reef for jobs. The Australian government says that its plan will help keep the reef safe from some threats."It is very important that we give B reef proper protection for the future," said one government official. The reef is Australia' s greatest natural treasure.34.Which of the following is not a creature that lives in the Great Barrier Reef?A.Coral polyps.B.Turtles.C.Sea horses.D.Whales.35.Which section describes the problem in this passage?A." It was a stranger. He was trying to pronounce my husband’s name and was asking him a lot of questions. Their young daughter had gone to the trash can and found a pile of unfamiliar papers. Her parents had carefully sorted them out, although they had found mainly foreign addresses on most of the documents. Bush is expected to issue a directive in the next few weeks. It will give the US Air Force a green light for the development of space weapons, US media reported last week. This would potentially set off a new global arms race, some experts have warned. To keep that from happening, last Wednesday the White House explained that it was not considering putting weapons in space. It said it was making a shift in US space policy to allow for protection of satellites. But some defense analysts and arms control advocates argue that the policy will pave the way for the US to put both defensive and offensive weapons in space.“No one should be fooled,” said Theresa Hitches, an American weapons expert. The US is now restricted by a 1996 directive signed by President Bill Clinton. Plans for space weapons were vetoed by the Clinton cabinet. The directive emphasized the peaceful use of space, in agreement with almost undivided global opinion. The US military has placed importance on space and has sent up numerous satellites for troop communications and to provide intelligence and data to guide bombs to their targets. The US Air Force wants to develop space based weapons that could strike targets anywhere in the world within 90 minutes of receiving the order to open fire. These new weapons under development cover a wide range. They include hunter killer satellites(杀手卫星)and orbiting weapons(沿轨道运行的武器系统). And they use lasers, radio waves, or even dense metal tubes, known as “Rods from God”, dropped from space to do the damage. There are many barriers to the setting up of this kind of program, experts say.First is cost. It is estimated that the budget may be US $220 billion to US $1 trillion. The technical difficulties of developing reliable space weapons are also a problem. And, the move will draw strong criticism from around the world. Experts worry about setting off a space arms race.29.The news report mainly deals with._____.A US Military PlansB The Global Arms RaceC A Comparison between Two presidentsD President George W. Bush might be expecting a little Indian love. The agreement marks a major breakthrough for New Delhi. It allows India to depend on American atomic technology and fuel to meet its increasing energy needs, if American government permits.Yet many Indians have mixed feelings towards Bush and his country. According to an opinion poll(民意测验)carried out last week by the Indian magazine Outlook, two thirds of the answers say that Bush is a “friend of India”. But 72 percent say that America is “a bully(欺凌弱小者)”, and 59 per cent say that India has “compromised on its foreign policy” to become closer to the US.“It’s this unilateral(单边的)thing that makes people upset; you want everything your way, and as long as the world toes your line, it’s fine,” says Anand Mahindra, owner of a computer company in New Delhi.“But you are the ones who used nuc lear bombs in Japan. You used chemical weapons in Vietnam. And you’re the ones driving all those gas guzzling(暴食的) cars. You have no moral(道德的) ground to stand on. Who are you to tell us what to do?”Many factors tie America and India together—democratic(民主的) traditions, economic ties, military(军事的) co operation, and common views on the war on terrorism. But Bush and his counterpart(对方), Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, admitted that it may take time for the two partners to become close friends. The key to deepening that relationship will be average Indians. Many of them love American culture, but that doesn’t mean they buy everything America has to sell.“Indians have always felt close to America on a popular level, to American films, to clothes, to mu sic”, says Dipankar Gupta, an Indian sociologist(社会学家).“But at the same time, many Indians see America as too domineering(专横的).

Speed reading is a necessary and vital skill in the Internet age. We skim over articles, e-mails and tweets to try to grasp key words andthe essential meaning of the text. With so much information available through our electronic devices, it would be impossible toget through everything if we read word by word, line by line. But a new trend calls on people to unplug and enjoy reading slowly, one which claims to have benefits beyond intellectual stimulation. A recent story from The Wall Street Journal reported on a book club in Wellington, New Zealand, where members meet in a cafe and turn off their smart phones. They sink into comfortable chairs and read in silence for an hour. Unlike typical book clubs, the point of the slow reading club isn’t to exchange ideas about certain books, but to get away from electronic devices and read in a quiet, relaxed environment. According to the story, the Wellington book club is just one example of a movement started by book lovers who miss the traditional way of reading. Traditional readers, like Maura Kelly, say a regular reading habit sharpens the mind, improves concentration, reduces stress levels and deepens the ability to understand others. Some of these benefits have been backed up by science. For example, a study of 300 elderly people published by the journal Neurology last year showed that mature people who take part in activities that use their brain, such as reading, suffer less memory loss as they get older. Another study published last year in Science showed that reading novels helps people understand others’ mental states and beliefs—a key skill in building relationships. Yet technology has made us less careful readers. Computer and phone screens have changed our reading patterns from the top-to-bottom, left-to-right reading order we traditionally used, to a wild skimming and skipping pattern as we hunt for important words and information. Reading text online that has many links to other web pages also leads to weaker comprehension than reading plain text. The Internet may have made us stupider, says British journalist Patrick Kingsley, only half joking. Because of the Internet, he claims we have become very good at collecting a wide range of factual tidbits, but we are also gradually forgetting how to sit back, think and relate all these facts to each other.【文章大意】这是一篇说明文。

审题立意:__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________标题:_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________【写作提纲】____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________【参考示例】【审题立意】1.
