第1篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon! It is with great pleasure and honor that I stand before you today to share my thoughts and aspirations for the future, as part of this English Proficiency Competition. Today, I want to talk about the power of youth and how we, as university students, can harness this energy to create a brighter tomorrow.Youth is a unique and precious time in our lives. It is a time when we are filled with boundless energy, curiosity, and dreams. We are at the cusp of adulthood, ready to embrace the challenges and opportunitiesthat lie ahead. As university students, we are the architects of our own future, and it is our responsibility to shape the world in which we live.First and foremost, let us acknowledge the power that lies within us. As young individuals, we possess the ability to learn, adapt, and innovate. We are the generation that grew up with technology at our fingertips, and we have the capacity to harness its potential for the betterment of society. We are the generation that is not afraid to question the status quo and to strive for change. In the realm of education, we have the opportunity to expand our knowledge and skills. University is a place where we can delve into various disciplines, explore different cultures, and develop critical thinking abilities. We are the future leaders, innovators, and change-makers, and it is our duty to acquire the tools necessary to succeed.Furthermore, we must recognize the importance of teamwork and collaboration. In today's interconnected world, no single individual can achieve greatness on their own. We need to learn to work together, to listen to one another, and to respect diverse perspectives. By fostering a spirit of unity and cooperation, we can create a more inclusive and harmonious society. As university students, we also have a responsibility to contribute to the community. We are part of a larger network of individuals who share our goals and values. By engaging in volunteer work, participating insocial initiatives, and advocating for causes that matter to us, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of others. Moreover, we must embrace the importance of cultural exchange. In our globalized world, we have the privilege of interacting with people from different backgrounds and cultures. This exposure allows us to broaden our horizons, to understand the complexities of the world, and to appreciate the beauty of diversity. Let us use this opportunity to learn from one another and to build bridges of understanding. In addition to these responsibilities, we must also prioritize our personal growth. University is not just about academic achievements; it is also about self-discovery and self-improvement. We must be open to new experiences, to challenges, and to failures. It is through these experiences that we learn and grow, that we become stronger and more resilient. Now, let us talk about the role of language in all of this. English, as the global lingua franca, has become an essential tool for communication, collaboration, and innovation. By mastering English, we open doors to new opportunities, both professionally and personally. It allows us to connect with people from all corners of the world, to share our ideas, and to contribute to the global conversation. In conclusion, as university students, we have the power to shape the future. It is an immense honor and privilege to stand before you today and share my thoughts on the university years, a period that marks the dawn of our adult lives and the beginning of our journey towards realizing our dreams. As we gather here for this English Proficiency Contest, I am reminded of the power of language to bridge cultures and ideas, and I am excited to express my thoughts on the theme "Embracing the Future: The University Years as a Canvas of Dreams."The university years are a unique time in our lives. It is a period of self-discovery, of learning, and of growth. We are no longer confined to the rigid structure of high school; instead, we are presented with a vast array of opportunities and challenges that shape us into the individuals we will become. Just as an artist uses a canvas to create a masterpiece, the university years provide us with a blank canvas upon which we can paint our dreams.Firstly, the university years are a canvas of knowledge. In this stage of our lives, we are exposed to a world of ideas, theories, and disciplines that were previously unknown to us. We have the opportunity to delve into subjects that ignite our curiosity and passion, whether it be the complexities of quantum physics, the nuances of literature, or the intricacies of social sciences. The university is a melting pot of knowledge, where we are encouraged to explore and question, to think critically and creatively. As we acquire this knowledge, we are not just filling our minds with facts and figures; we are also equipping ourselves with the tools to navigate the complexities of the world.Secondly, the university years are a canvas of personal growth. It is during these years that we learn about ourselves, our strengths, and our weaknesses. We encounter challenges that test our resilience anddetermination, and we overcome obstacles that shape our character. The university is a place where we are pushed out of our comfort zones, where we are encouraged to step out of our shells and embrace the unknown. Through these experiences, we learn to adapt, to communicate, and to collaborate. We discover our passions, our values, and our beliefs, and we begin to form our identity as adults.Furthermore, the university years are a canvas of relationships. We meet people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs, and we forge friendships that can last a lifetime. These relationships enrich our lives, broaden our perspectives, and teach us the importance of empathy and understanding. The university is a microcosm of the world, where we learn to navigate the complexities of human interactions and to appreciate the diversity that exists within our society. We learn towork in teams, to compromise, and to respect the opinions of others. These skills are invaluable in our future careers and personal lives. However, as we embrace the canvas of the university years, we must also be aware of the responsibilities that come with it. We must rememberthat our actions and decisions have consequences, and that we are notjust shaping our own futures, but also the futures of those around us. We must strive for excellence in our studies, while also fostering a sense of community and social responsibility. We must be leaders, notjust in our academic pursuits, but also in our personal lives and in the lives of those who look up to us.In conclusion, the university years are a canvas of dreams, a period where we have the freedom to explore, to grow, and to create. It is a time of immense potential and opportunity, where we can shape our future and leave an indelible mark on the world. As we embrace this canvas, let us remember that our dreams are not just aspirations, but actionable goals. Let us work tirelessly to acquire knowledge, to grow as individuals, and to build meaningful relationships. Let us be theartists of our own lives, painting a future that is bright, inspiring, and filled with purpose. In the spirit of embracing the future, let us not be afraid to dream big, to take risks, and to pursue our passions with unwavering determination.Let us use the canvas of the university years to create a masterpiecethat will not only inspire ourselves, but also leave a lasting impact on the world.Thank you for your attention, and may your university years be a journey filled with dreams, achievements, and unforgettable memories.[Applause]第3篇Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed judges, fellow contestants, and the audience,Good morning/afternoon/evening! It is an honor to stand before you today and share with you my thoughts and experiences on the extraordinary journey that is university life. The university, a place where dreamsare nurtured, talents are honed, and minds are broadened, is indeed a treasure trove of opportunities and challenges. In this speech, I would like to explore the various facets of university life, highlighting the importance of embracing this unique phase of our lives.First and foremost, university is a crucible of knowledge andintellectual growth. It is here that we are exposed to a vast array of subjects, ideas, and perspectives that challenge our existing beliefsand expand our horizons. The professors, who are experts in their fields, impart knowledge that goes beyond the textbooks, encouraging us to question, think critically, and seek answers to the world's mostpressing issues. This intellectual stimulation is what makes university life truly enriching. In the pursuit of knowledge, we also learn the value of self-discipline and hard work. University requires us to manage our time effectively, balance our academic responsibilities with personal commitments, and develop a strong work ethic. These skills are not only essential for academic success but also for our future careers. The challenges we face in university teach us resilience, determination, and the importance of perseverance.University is also a melting pot of cultures and ideas. We have the privilege of studying and living alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and beliefs. This cultural exchange fosters empathy, tolerance, and a global perspective. We learn to appreciate the richness of different cultures and to embrace our own unique identities. The friendships we form in university are often lifelong, as we share our experiences, support each other, and grow together. Moreover, university life is a platform for personal growth and self-discovery. It is a time when we step out of our comfort zones, take risks, and explore our passions. Whether it is joining a sports team, participating in clubs, or organizing events, university offers us numerous opportunities to develop our leadership skills, teamwork, and creativity. These experiences shape our character, build our confidence, and prepare us for the complexities of the real world. One of the most significant aspects of university life is the formation of lifelong friendships. The bonds we forge with our classmates and roommates are built on shared experiences, laughter, and mutual support. These friendships provide us with a sense of belonging and comfort, especially during the tough times. We learn to rely on each other, to trust one another, and to cherish these relationships for a lifetime.Furthermore, university is a time for career exploration and professional development. We have the opportunity to engage in internships, part-time jobs, and volunteer work, which allow us to gain practical experience and insights into various fields. This hands-on learning helps us make informed decisions about our future careers and to develop the skills and competencies that employers seek. However, it is important to acknowledge that university life is not without its challenges. The pressure to excel academically, thefinancial constraints, and the emotional stress can sometimes take atoll on our well-being. But it is through these challenges that we learn to adapt, to grow, and to become stronger individuals. In conclusion, university life is a remarkable journey of growth and discovery. It is a time when we are exposed to new ideas, developessential life skills, and form lifelong friendships. Embracing this phase of our lives with an open mind and a positive attitude will undoubtedly shape us into well-rounded individuals, prepared to face the future with confidence and determination. As we embark on this journey, let us remember that the university is not just a place of learning but also a place of living. 大学生英语竞赛演讲稿(精选20篇)大学生英语竞赛篇1Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Today I would like to begin with a story. There was once a physical 1) therapist who traveled all the way from America to Africa to do a 2) census about mountain 3) gorillas. These gorillas are a main attraction to tourists from all over the world; this put them severely under threat of 4) poaching and being put into the zoo. She went there out of curiosity, but what she saw strengthened her determination to devote her whole life to fighting for those beautiful creatures. She witnessed a scene, a scene taking us to a place we never imaged we've ever been, where in the very depth of the African rainforest, surrounded by trees, flowers and butterflies, the mother gorillas 5) cuddled their babies.Yes, that's a memorable scene in one of my favorite movies, called Gorillas in the Mist, based on a true story of Mrs. Dian Fossey, who spent most of bet lifetime in Rwanda to protect the ecoenvironment there until the very end of her life.To me, the movie not only presents an unforgettable scene but also acts as a 6) timeless reminder that we should not develop the tourist industry at the cost of our ecoenvironment.Today, we live in a world of prosperity but still threatened by so many new problems. On the one hand, tourism, as one of the most promising industries in the 21st century, provides people with the great opportunity to see everything there is to see and to go any place there is to go. It has become a lifestyle for some people, and has turned out to be the driving force in GDP growth. It has the magic to turn a backward town into a wonderland ofprosperity. But on the other hand, many problems can occur---natural scenes aren't natural anymore. Deforestation to heat lodges is devastating Nepal. Oil spills from tourist boats are polluting Antarctica. Tribal people are forsaking their native music and dress to listen to U2 on Walkman and wear Nike and Reeboks. All these 7) appalling(令人震惊的) facts have brought us to the realization that we can no longer stand by and do nothing, because the very thought of it has been 8) eroding(侵蚀) our resources.Encouragingly, the explosive growth of global travel has put tourism again in the spotlight, which is why the United Nations has made 20xx the year of ecotourism, for the first time to bring to the world's attention the benefits of tourism, but also its capacity to destroy our ecoenvironment. Now every year, many local ecoenvironmental protection organizations an: receiving donations--big notes, small notes or even coins--from housewives, 9) plumbers(水管工人), ambulance drivers, salesmen, teachers, children and 10) invalids(残疾人), Some of them can not afford to send the money but they do. These are the ones who drive the cabs, who nurse in hospitals, who are suffering from ecological damage in their neighborhood. Why? Because they care. Because they still want their Mother Nature back. Because they know it still belongs to them. This kind of feeling that I have, ladies and gentlemen, is when it feels like it, smells like it, and looks like it, it's all coming from a scene to remember, a scene to recall and to cherish. The other night, as l saw the moon linger over the land and before it was sent into the invisible, my mind was filled with songs.I found myself humming softly, not to the music, but to some-thing else, someplace else. a place remembered, a place untouched, a field of grass where no one seem to have been except the deer. And all those unforgettable scenes strengthened the feeling that it's lime for us to do something, for our own and our coming generation. Once again, I have come to think of Mrs. Dian Fossey be- cause it's with her spirit, passion, courage and strong sense of our ecoenvironment that we are taking our next step into the world. And no matter who we are, what we do and where we go, in our mind, there's always a scene to remember, a scene worth our effort to protect it and fight for it.Thank you very much.Thanks,contestant#18.The topic for your impromptu speech is:Which is more important for you: knowledge from books or personal experience? Answer: Thank you. I remember, on my very first day of my beloved university, one of my professors said to me,“From now on, you’ll b e on a journey between who you think you are and who yo can be.The key is to allow yourself to continue the journey in the ocean of the books.”And I do learn a lot from books: I know the geometry of Euclid, logic ofAristotle, fable of Aesop known to children around the world. Well, no offense to all those great authors of the books, but during my three years at my university, I do realize that personal experience through practice means more to me. As we are in this global information age where both economic growth and individual opportunity are based on ideas, a commitment to providing all human beings the golden opportunity to develop themselves is so vital, not only to the people here, but all around. As we are in this transformational age where communicationsand commerce are global, investments are mobile, technology is almost magical, and the ambition for a better life is now universal, and I think this is why we are here today. We want to earn our personal experience through practicing our oral English, sharing our opinions of tourism and ecology with all the judges and audience here. And I think we are so lucky to be alive at this moment of the history. Never before have our nation enjoyed so much prospertity and so much social progress with so little internal crises. And never before have our young people had so much great opportunity to practice ourselves and, therefore, have a profound obligation to build a more perfect nation of our ancestor’s dream. And I think our government had provided us young people with the tools and condition to build the future of our dreams. Even if we know some rules, some regulations, or experiences from our books, we still simply cannot graft it onto today’s busier, more impersonal, complicated world. Instead, our challenges is to arrive at a consensus values and common vision of what we can do today individually andcollectively to build a strong family and strong community, and above all, make the world a better place for us to live. Thank you very much. Contestant#18, in your speech, you talked about ecotourism. Could you explain to us difference between ordinary tourists and e-tourists, or ecotourists?Answer: Thank you for your question. And I think the key issue is the differences between our awareness. Fot example, if you want to go to a place to have a trip, enjoy your trip. And I think before you get on board, get on the bus, you can have the awareness that “I’m not a polluter, but an environment keeper.” We’re not go to all those scenic spots to estroy all those beautiful scenes but we to appreciate the Mother Nature givingus so much things. Thank you very much.Contestant #18,now that information technology is becoming more and more accessible to people in China, do you think books will become less and less important?Answer: Well, I think, maybe, umm, I don’t think that all those echnologies can replace the importance of books. We’re in our modern village where so many new industries—IT industries, tourism ndustries—crop up every day and this brave new world seem a little bit dehumanizing and inhospitable to a lot of people. The world can no longer be defined as a place on a map or list or people in organizations but I think the true value, the essence of our village remains the same.It is the network of values relationship that support our lives and we can learn those things from our books because books is the very first beginning stage of what we learn. Thank you very much.I’d like to ask you a question about your prepared speech, please. You mention that the UN has declated the year 20xx, I think it was, “The Year of Ecotourism.” Do you think that such gestures really serve a purpose? Answer: And I think one of my teachers said to me, when I prepared my prepared speech, and he tells me that if we pay more attention to omething like environmental protection or ecotourism, it is more, it is better for us to bear in mind we should learn something in our hearts, we should have something about the awareness about how to pay more respect to our environment, not to talk about something orally but to bear something in our hearts. Follow our hearts, our environment can be better.Thank you very much.

1. The Importance of Cultural Exchange Programs in the Modern WorldGood afternoon, fellow students and esteemed judges. Today I would like to talk to you about the importance of cultural exchange programs in the modern world.Cultural exchange programs are a vital component of international relations. They allow people from different countries to experience each other's cultures firsthand, promoting mutual understanding and respect. These programs can take many forms, from study abroad programs and language exchanges to cultural festivals and arts performances. One of the main benefits of cultural exchange programs is that they help to break down cultural stereotypes and barriers. When individuals are exposed to a new culture, they are able to appreciate the nuances and complexities of that society, and are more likely to approach it with an open mind and heart. This process of cultural exchange can lead to greater empathy and compassion, and help to forge more positive relationships between countries. Moreover, cultural exchange programs can have economic benefits. For example, student exchange programs can lead to increased business and trade relationships between countries. Students who study abroad gain valuable skills and knowledge that can be applied in the workforce, making them valuable employees in international companies. Additionally, cultural festivals and eventscan attract tourists and stimulate local economies. In conclusion, cultural exchange programs are crucial for promoting international understanding and cooperation. They help to break down cultural barriers, promote empathy and compassion, and bring economic benefits to countries. As students and citizens of the world, it is our responsibility to support and participate in these programs to create a more peaceful and prosperous global society. Thank you.2. The Power of Individual Actions in Combating Climate ChangeHello everyone, and thank you for coming today to hear my speech. Today I would like to discuss a topic that is near and dear to my heart: climate change.Climate change is a global crisis that threatens the well-being of our planet and all living organisms. It is caused by human activities, such as burning fossil fuels and deforestation, which release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and warm the planet. The effects of climate change are catastrophic, including rising sea levels, more intense natural disasters, and widespread species extinction. However, there is hope. While it can be easy to feel powerless in the face of such a massive crisis, individual actions can have a powerful impact in combating climate change. Every small action we take, from turning off the lights when we leave a room to using public transportation instead of driving, can contribute to the larger effort of reducing our carbon footprint. Moreover, individual actions can have a ripple effect, inspiring others to make positive changes as well. By leading by example, we can create a culture of sustainability that values the health of the planet and future generations. There are also many ways to get involved in larger efforts to combat climate change. Joining local environmental groups, volunteering for clean-up campaigns, and choosing to support companies that prioritize sustainability are just a few examples of how we can make a difference. In conclusion, while climate change is a daunting challenge, it is one that we can all help to address through our individual actions and choices. By working together and supporting each other, we can create a better, more sustainable future for ourselves and for generations to come. Thank you.3. The Value of Failure in Personal Growth and SuccessGood afternoon, judges and fellow students. Today I would like to talk to you about the value of failure in personal growth and success. Many of us fear failure. We fear making mistakes, taking risks, and falling short of our goals. But what if I told you that failure was actually a necessary ingredient for personal growth and success? Failure teaches us valuable lessons that we might not otherwise learn. It forces us to examine our actions, our approaches, and ourassumptions, and to make necessary changes to improve ourselves. Failure also helps us to build resilience and grit, to learn how to pick ourselves up and try again after setbacks. Moreover, success after failure is often more meaningful and satisfying than success that comes easily. When we achieve a goal after struggling and failing, we gain a sense of pride and accomplishment that is unparalleled. This confidence and self-awareness can propel us forward to even greater successes in the future. However, this does not mean that we should seek out failure or take unnecessary risks. Rather, we should embrace the inevitable failures that come with pursuing our passions and goals. By seeing failure as an opportunity for growth and learning, we can approach challenges with greater courage and creativity. In conclusion, failure is not something to be feared or avoided. Rather, it is a necessary ingredient for personal growth and success. By embracing failure, we can learn valuable lessons, build resilience, and experience the satisfaction of achieving our goals after overcoming setbacks. Thank you.4. The Importance of Mental Health Awareness in Universities Hello everyone, and thank you for joining me today. Today I would like to discuss a topic that is often overlooked but criticalfor the well-being of university students: mental health awareness. University can be a stressful and challenging environment. Manystudents experience anxiety, depression, and other mental health difficulties during their time in school. However, there is still a stigma surrounding mental health that often prevents students from seeking the support they need. That is why mental health awareness is so important. By promoting a culture of openness and support, we can create a safe and welcoming environment for students who are struggling with mental health challenges. This can include providing counseling services, mental health workshops, and support groups. Moreover, teaching students about mental health can help to break down the stigma surrounding these issues. Students who understand mental health and know how to support their peers can be an invaluable resource in creating a positive and inclusive community.Lastly, mental health awareness can also have a positive impact on academic performance and overall well-being. When students feel supported and valued, they are more likely to succeed in their studies and thrive in their personal lives. In conclusion, mental health awareness is critical for the well-being of university students. By promoting a culture of openness and support, we can create a safe and inclusive environment that allows students to thrive. Thank you.5. The Importance of Diversity and Inclusion in University EducationGood afternoon judges and fellow students. Today I would like to talk to you about the importance of diversity and inclusion in university education.Universities should be places of learning and growth for all students, regardless of their background or identity. However, too often certain groups of students are marginalized or excluded from the educational experience, leading to inequality and a lack of understanding between different communities.Diversity in the classroom is crucial for a truly enriching educational experience. It brings together students with different perspectives, life experiences, and cultural backgrounds, creating a vibrant learning environment where students can learn from each other as well as from their instructors. Moreover, diversity and inclusion can lead to greater creativity and innovation. Students who are exposed to a variety of perspectives and experiences are more likely to think critically and come up with new and creative solutions to complex problems. However, achieving diversity and inclusion in universities requires intentional effort. Universities must actively recruit students and faculty from diverse backgrounds, implement policies that promote inclusion, and provide resources for students from marginalized communities. In conclusion, diversity and inclusion are critical for creating an enriching and innovative educational experience. By valuing andpromoting diversity, universities can create a more equitable and inclusive society for all students. Thank you.。

大学生英语演讲稿比赛精选范文三篇演讲稿一:梦想的力量Good morning, ladies and gentlemen,Today, I am honored to stand here and share with you my thoughts on the power of dreams.Dreams are the driving force behind human achievements. They inspire us to push our limits, to strive for excellence, and to overcome obstacles. Without dreams, life would be dull and meaningless. As college students, we are at a crucial stage of our lives, where dreams play a vital role in shaping our future.Firstly, dreams give us direction. They provide us with a sense of purpose and guide us towards our goals. A dream acts as a compass, pointing us in the right direction and helping us make choices that align with our aspirations. Whether it is becoming a doctor, an engineer, or an artist, dreams give us a clear vision of what we want to achieve.Secondly, dreams ignite passion within us. When we have a dream, we are driven by a burning desire to make it come true. This passion fuels our motivation and determination, enabling us to overcome any challenges that come our way. It keeps us going even when we face setbacks and failures. As the saying goes, “Where there is a will, there is a way.” With a dream, we find the will to persevere and find a way to achieve our goals.Lastly, dreams inspire others. When we pursue our dreams with dedication and determination, we become a source of inspiration for those around us. Our actions show others that dreams are not just fantasies, but achievable goals. We become role models, encouraging others to dream big and pursue their passions. Our dreams have the power to create a ripple effect, inspiring a generation of dreamers. In conclusion, dreams are not just figments of our imagination; they have the power to shape our lives and the world around us. It is through dreams that we find direction, ignite passion, and inspire others. So, my fellow college students, let us dare to dream and unleash the power within us to make our dreams a reality. Thank you.演讲稿二:大学生就业压力与应对Good morning, everyone,Today, I would like to talk about the pressures college students face when it comes to employment and how we can effectively cope with them.In today’s society, the competition for jobs has become increasingly fierce. College graduates are facing immense pressure to secure a decent job upon graduation. This pressure often stems from the expectations of our families, the high cost of education, and the fear of unemployment. However, it is essential for us to understand that this pressure can be managed and overcome.Firstly, it is crucial to have a realistic mindset. Many students have high expectations and unrealistic goals, which can lead to disappointment and frustration. We need to recognize that finding a job may take time and effort. It is important to set achievable goals and be open to different opportunities. Flexibility and adaptability are key qualities that employers look for in candidates.Secondly, we should focus on building a strong foundation of skills and experiences. It is not enough to rely solely on our academic achievements. We need to actively seek internships, part-time jobs, and volunteer opportunities to gain practical experience and develop transferable skills. By doing so, we enhance our employability and increase our chances of finding a job. Moreover, networking plays a vital role in finding employment. It is important to build and maintain professional relationships with professors, classmates, and professionals in our desired field. Attending career fairs, joining professional organizations, and utilizing online platforms can help expand our network. Many job opportunities come through referrals, so cultivating connections is essential in today’s job market.Lastly, it is crucial to take care of our mental and emotional well-being. Job hunting can be stressful and disheartening at times. It is important to have a support system in place, whether it is through friends, family, or counseling services provided by the university. Taking breaks, engaging in hobbies, and practicing self-care can help alleviate stress and maintain a positive mindset. In conclusion, the pressures of finding employment as college students may seem overwhelming, but with the right mindset and strategies, we can effectively cope with them. By setting realistic goals, gaining experience, networking, and taking care of our well-being, we increase our chances of finding a fulfilling and successful career. Thank you.演讲稿三:大学生创业精神的重要性Good morning, respected professors and fellow students,Today, I want to talk about the importance of entrepreneurial spirit among college students and how it can shape our future. In today’s rapidly changing world, traditional job opportunities are becoming increasingly limited. The job market is highly competitive, and many graduates face the challenge of finding suitable employment. However, with the right mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, we can create our own opportunities and become the drivers of our own success.Firstly, entrepreneurial spirit fosters creativity and innovation. It encourages us to think outside the box, challenge conventional wisdom, and come up with new ideas and solutions. By embracing entrepreneurship, we become problem solvers, capable of identifying market gaps and developing innovative products or services to meet those needs. This mindset not only benefits us personally but also contributes to the advancement of society as a whole.Secondly, entrepreneurship cultivates resilience and adaptability. Starting a business is not an easy task; it requires hard work, perseverance, and the ability to overcome obstacles. Through the process of entrepreneurship, we learn to embrace failure as a stepping stone to success. We develop resilience and the ability to bounce back from setbacks. This mindset is invaluable in an ever-changing world, where adaptability is key to survival. Moreover, entrepreneurship encourages collaboration and teamwork. Building a successful business often requires a diverse set of skills and expertise. By working with others, we can leverage each other’s strengths and compensate for our weaknesses. Entrepreneurship teaches us the importance ofeffective communication, negotiation, and teamwork, all of which are essential skills in any professional setting.Lastly, entrepreneurship empowers us to create positive change. By starting our own businesses, we have the opportunity to make a difference in the world. Whether it is addressing social issues, promoting sustainability, or improving people’s lives, entrepreneurship allows us to pursue our passions and contribute to a better society. We become agents of change, capable of creating lasting impact. In conclusion, the entrepreneurial spirit among college students is crucial in shaping our future. It fosters creativity, resilience, collaboration, and empowers us to create positive change. By embracing entrepreneurship, we become the drivers of our own success and contribute to the advancement of society. So, let us nurture our entrepreneurial spirit and dare to pursue our dreams. Thank you.。

大学生英语比赛演讲稿1Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I’m very glad to make a speech here. today my topic is “I love you, China.”Since the day I was born, I began to have a proud name—Chinese. since the day I began to talk, the most beautiful sentence I’ve ever learnt has been “i love you,China!”I love you, China, and i’m so proud of being a Chinese. I’m proud that I’ve got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the world—Chinese.I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. last year, I got an opportunity to visit the united states of america. during my staying there, my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner. while at table, he looked at me and asked:“little boy, how long have you been in america?” “about a month,” I answered, “how lucky you are!” he said, “if you were living in China, how could you learn such perfect english?” I smiled and told him proudly that all the students in China are able to learn english at school. I saw his surprised eyes and said to myself, “i’m proud of you, China. for you are offering us the best education.”When I came back from the usa, my friends asked me:“how do you feel about your staying there?” “wonderful” I said. “then why do you come back?” hearing this, I told them there were lots of beautiful countries in the world, but none ofthem can compare with our own country—China. how true the saying is:“there’s no place like home!”I love you, China. as a young student, all we should do is to study hard and devote ourselves whole-heartedly in the future, to the great cause of building you into an even stronger and greater country in the world. I love you, my dear motherland! I love you, China!Thank you for your listening !大学生英语比赛演讲稿2How to Be PopularMost people would like to be popular with others, but not everyone can achieve this goal. What is the secret to popularity? In fact, it is very simple. The first step is to improve our appearance. We should always make sure that we stay in good shape and dress well. When we are healthy and well-groomed, we will not only look better but also feel better. In addition, we should smile and appear friendly. After all, our facial expression is an important part of our appearance. If we can do this, people will be attracted to our good looks and impressed by our confidence.Another important step is developing more consideration for others. We should always put others first and place their interests before our own. It's also important to be good listeners; in this way people will feel comfortable enough to confide in us. However, no matter what we do, we must not gossip. Above all, we must remember to be ourselves, not phonies. Only by being sincere and respectful of others can we earn their respect. If we can do all of the above, I am sure popularity will come our way. 大学生英语比赛演讲稿3hello everyone!I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams. However,we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids,we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.Thank you!大学生英语比赛演讲稿4My dear Teachers, fellow students and friends:Good afternoon. As we all know, the earth is a planet almost covered by water, and it is water made every thing on the earth lively.Water is also one of the important part of our environment.Though,is there really so much water for us to clean,to produce many things,to play with? how much water are there on the earth then? Most of the water is in the oceans or locked away as ice.The largest volumes of fresh water are stored underground as groundwater, imagine there is only one barrel of water in the world, then there is only a spoon of it on the land, and the water we can use is only a drop of it.Now I have to remind all of you here that the single drop of water is never as Clean as before,it has been polluted severely by our human beings. There is a very beautiful river in Paris. It is the Seine,it runs across the City, people drink coffee, chat on the bank in the day,at night, they enjoy the beautiful scenery in the boat, songs from the river fly into the Sky made the river more attractive, the Seine is a famous symbol of France;on the west coast of pacific ocean there lies the modern City Shanghai, anot ther river which used to be a very important transportation route runs through the center of the city, people respected and regard it as"mother".It is the"suzhou river, but l believe that few of you would sit beside it,people will be scattered by the terrible smell of water when walk by.I have to say it is extremely dirty! And we all know that a lot of beautiful rivers in the world also are Sharing the same fate with suzhou river. Many human activities and their by-products have the potential to pollute water. Please have a look along the banks of the river, large and small industrial enterprises discharge dirtywater, tons of garbage were thrown into the river, the water contained so much that it can't clean itself. Compared with the dramatic development in many sides of Shanghai, the suzhou river has become a black point of the appearance of city.Fortunately, the government has control the situation now, we are happy to see some parts of the river has become clean again, and we even can find fish sometime. The unique earth is the only planet full of lives, the water is just like the blood in the active body, protecting water is saving ourselves. Not to waste a single drop of water, otherwise, the only drop of water we could keep in the future would be our tear!My dear friends, mankind still faces a great difficulty in solving the problems of the environment and development, and there is a grand task to perform and along way to go. The middle school students in China will always cooperate with the young people of the world to protect the environment. The future is ours to build! Thanks for listening.大学生英语比赛演讲稿5Change The Ingredients Of Your LifeThis is a glass of water, tasteless, right? However if you add sugar, it will taste sweet, but if you add vinegar, it will become bitter. The same is true with our life____ the flavor is created by our choices. If kindness is added to a strange you will have a friend; but if hostility is added, you will have an enemy. If love is added to a pile of red bricks you will have a home, but if hatred is add to those bricks , you will have an concentration camp.So my dear friends, never complain that life is boring and the world is disappointing. If don’t like t he taste of your life, changethe ingredients.Three year ago, I weighed more than 100 hundred kilograms which caused significant embarrassment and frustration in my life. Like always failing my P.E examinations, like always being laughed at by girls, like being terrified to speak in public. It was my grandmother’s encouragement that revived from my passive attitude to become confident in myself. She said “ My dear, if you can’t change you figure, why not treat it as your own style. So I began to cautiously employ the new way of thinking. By choosing to change my outlook on life, I developed the confidence to make a difference and finally I found a totally new world. So my dear friend, if faith, hope, love, endurance are added to your life, you will find the confidence to conquer your limitation and embrace new challenges. And hopefully with my speech included, you will have a fantastic speech contest.大学生英语比赛演讲稿。

I am anoutgoing girl who likes re ading and traveling. It’s really my great honor to stand here and give everyone a short speech.People say, youth is fire which is ignited by passion. People say, youth is a chapter of the poem which is written by stories. The color of youth is bright and we make most use of our ardor to draw the scenes to the canvas of painting. But we may be confused and lose our direction in the youth time. Under this, youth slips away. Roman Roland says, life doesn’t issue return ticket and can never come back once sets out. So we should seize the short youth time and try our best to pursue our ideal. Do what should we do and let our youth without regret. When we refer to ideal, we will realize the importance of ideal. Ideal is the beacon,. Without ideal, we will lose the firm direction. Without direction, we will lose our life. According to this, every one of us should establish our own ideal .so that we have the direction of straggle to the future. Tolstoy tells us, we should have the life objective from the whole life to the second. So we should cherish every moment and form our systematic objective. Youth is the prime time. We have strong body and energy and can sense the meaning of life under the guide of ideal. As we know, the ideal is plentiful and reality is skinny. But we should believe that we will become stronger and stronger in the way to pursue ideal. Future is unknown,. If we hope our future is nice, we should enrich our youth time and find the direction of future.Let us use our youth to pursue our ideal and make our future wonderful. So we will have gorgeous life.大学英语演讲比赛演讲稿范文3The difficulties young Chinese university graduates have had in finding a job over the past few months have been making theheadlines in the media and causing concern throughout society. Education professionals in China have all had something to say about it.A good number of them, referring to the current phase of social transition in China, have come out in favour of the mass education programme that has been practised in recent years in Chinese universities. Others have raised doubts about the reliability of the figure of only 70% as the rate of employment for new graduates, which they consider to be alarmist. In fact, according to the statistics provided by the Ministry of Education itself, out of the 2.12 million graduates in the general higher education sector in 2003, 640,000 had not signed a work contract by the end of their studies In these circumstances, it is understandable that in the current labour market in Shanghai, for example, new university graduates are settling for a monthly salary of 1,200 yuan, slightly more than double Shanghai’s minimum wage, at the same time as they are having to face significant overheads (superannuation, unemployment insurance, health insurance, etc.).If we take into account the cost of living in Shanghai (including accommodation, transport and telecommunications), it would appear that the salary of these graduates is barely enough to cover their basic needs . The purpose of this article is to better understand the current unemployment of young graduates, beyond any proposals being put forward in the context of higher education reform.大学英语演讲比赛演讲稿范文4Nowadays, the employment of college students is becoming more and more of a problem. According to statistics, about 30% of graduate students can't find a job after graduation. Thesecollege student who cannot find jobs are at their worst. Why college graduates have difficulty finding jobs? Why is it a big problem that puzzled people for years? The reason for it is various. The main reason has the following points: Firstly, the number of the college student is increasing faster and faster these years. In addition, many colleges and universities fail to adapt their courses to the development of economy.Secondly, It's easy for some students to find work. But the fact is that some students don't want to do the job, they except to find a work with a higher salary. In addition, some graduates did not work hard in college, so they are not competent for jobs they want.Last but not least, some college students cannot come to terms with themselves and with the world around them. They pursue too high goals and are too particular about such factors as working conditions, salary, and so on. Therefore, they are reluctant to accept the job when they are offered to them. How can we deal with the problem? In my opinion, students who are in colleges must work harder than before to keep their competitiveness. Only in this way can we find a suitable job. The government should take effective measures to expand employment. I do believe that this problem will be resolved soon.大学英语演讲比赛演讲稿范文5Man’s life is a process of growing upMan’s life is a process of growing up, actually I’m standing here is a growth. 2023年大学生英语演讲稿(精选4篇)大学生英语演讲稿1Honorable judges, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen:It is a great honor and pleasure to be here on this beautiful Saturday morning to share with you my sentiments about life and passion for the English language.About a year and a half ago, I took part in my very first English Speech Contest. When I stood before the microphone with all eyes starring directly at me, I could hardly speak. I stood there, embarrassed and helpless, struggling in vain for the right thing to say. My fears had paralyzed me.While my passion for English has never changed, I lost my courage to speak in public. When my professor again encouraged me to take part in this Competition, I said "no." I couldn’t endure yet another painful experience. He looked me straight in the eye and said something that pierced my heart. I will never forget his words. "Look," he said, "We all have our fears, and you have yours. You could twist your ankle in a basketball game, but then be afraidto ever play again. Running away can never dispel your fears, but action will. A winner is not one who never fails, but one who never quits."I spent a whole day with his words twisting and turning in my mind. Then I made the bravest and wisest decision of my life: I would face my fears – and take part in the competition!here I am, once again standing before a microphone. My heart is beating fast, and my mouth is dry, but most importantly, I have faced my fears -- and that makes all the difference!Thank you.大学生英语演讲稿2亲爱的老师和同学们:下午好,我很高兴在这里发表演讲!这次,我我想谈谈英语。

大学生英语演讲稿精选6篇大学生英语演讲稿1Saying goodbye to childhood,we step into another important time in the pace of young, facing new situations, dealing with different problems.everyone has his ownunderstanding of young,it is a period of time of beauty and wonders, only after you haveexperienced the sour ,sweet ,bitter and salty can you really become a person of significance.thre time of young is limitted,it may pass by without your attention, and when you discover what has happened ,it is always too late.grasping the young well means a better time is waiting for you in the near future,or the situation may be opposite .having a view on these great men in the history of hunmanbeing, they all made full use of their youth time ,to do things that are useful to society,to the whole mankind, and as a cosquence ,they are remembered by latergenerations, admired by everyone.so do something in the time of young, although you may not get achievements as these greatmendid ,though not for the whole word, just for youeself, for those around!the young is just like blooming flowers, they are so beautiful when blooming, they make people feel happy, but with time passing by,after they withers ,moet people think they are ugly.and so it is the same with young,we are enthusiastic when we are young, then we may lose our passion when getting older and older.so we must treasure it ,don't let the limitted time pass by ,leaving nothing of significance.大学生英语演讲稿2Ladies and Gentlemen, Good afternoon!I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. Today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it, and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.First I want to ask you some questions:1、Do you know what is youth?2、How do you master your youth?YouthYouth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite, for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.Years wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.Whether 60 of 16, there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grownold ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.Thank you!

1I am an English teacherGood afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, it’s a great honor to speak here: I am an English teacher.People often say: T eacher is the engineer of human spirit. Last September, I became a teacher. How to become a real teacher? This is the first difficulty that I come across in my career. At first, I felt so good and fun to stay with so many lovely students, then I integrated with them, and soon, the problem came out. If a teacher can’t set up her dignity in front of the students, it will make the class teaching more difficult. In my lessons, the students often kept on talking, acting, and asking questions. What should I do? I can’t get al ong with them like this any more. I must be strict with them. Pay more attention to what should be praised, what should be criticized. Any carelessness is not permitted. At last, the class discipline became better.Nowadays, the importance of learning English is obvious. The world becomes globalization and unify. The association of each country is closer and closer. People call the earth as a global village. English is the first current language in the international world. The communication of politics, economy and culture is upon English. As we know, we will take a beating if we lay behind. How to catch up with the world? That is, study English well to gain the first hand data. The entrance of WTO, the Olympic Games which will be held in 20xx, shows that we must learn English well as quickly as possible. Forcing study won’t stay in the heart, feeding knowledge into the brain won’t get a good result, and high mark isn’t our teaching goal. To get a satisfiedeffect, we should make the students learn on their own initiative. How to make them feel interested in studying English? I think the key point is the teaching design. It must be vivid and vigorous. We can change our study contents into games, performances, competitions and so on. Let them believe English is easy and funny. As the step of history is advancing, the demand of English teaching is changeable. The junior students are not what we know as before. They have a lot of knowledge, and are good at combining English with other subjects, such as history, geography, physics, chemistry and so on. Their English level is higher than what we thought. Many of them started learning English in their primary school. So English teacher should pursue advanced studies constantly, and master the latest teaching materials and methods to meet today’s demands.I feel very happy to be an English teacher. I will do my best to teach English well with my knowledge, my patience and my enthusiasm. Make Chinese speak English better, and show their ability and talent in the world stage. I am proud to tell you: I am an English teacher.大学优秀英语演讲比赛稿篇2Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,I am Chinese. I am proud of being a Chinese with five thousand years of civilization behind. I've learned about the four great inventions made by our forefathers. I've learned about the Great Wall and the Yangtze River. I've learned about Zhang Heng(张衡)and I've learned about Zheng He(郑和).Who says the Yellow River Civilization has vanished(消失)?I know that my ancestors have made miracles(奇迹)on this fertile land and we're still making miracles. Who can ignore the fact that we haveestablished ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellites into space, and that our GNP ranks No. 7 in the world? We have experienced the plunders (掠夺) by other nations, and we have experienced the war. Yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----China, unyielding and unconquerable!I once came across an American tourist. She said, “China hasa history of five thousand years, but the US only has a history of 200 years. Five thousand years ago, China took the lead in the world, and now it is the US that is leading.”My heart was deeply touched by these words. It is true that we're still a developing nation, but it doesn't mean that we can despise (鄙视) ourselves. We have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of. We have reasons to say proudly:we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition (雄心) is even bigger, our challenges (挑战) are great, but our will is even greater.I am Chinese. I have inherited (继承) black hair and black eyes.I have inherited the virtues of my ancestors. I have also taken over responsibility. I am sure, that wherever I go, whatever I do, I shall never forget that I am Chinese!大学优秀英语演讲比赛稿篇3My name is Dongqi Yang from china, I am horror to be here today and I am very happy to receive this award. As you can imagine, as international students in Australia, the biggest challenge is English,I remembered that when I come here first time, there is a party in the house of my home stay. During the time, they played jokes and they laughed all the time, do you know how embarrassed that is, everyone laughed except you. SoI pretend to understand the joke in another party, I saw everyone laugh and I laugh too in 5 seconds later. My home stay was surprised about that and asked me “do you understand?”,and I answered “no”,“So why do you laugh?” ”because I do not want to be embarrassed”!But as I receive this award today, I want to thank to them, because they encourage me to be involved with the committee rather than staying in at home, play computer and speak Chinese. When I came to Wantirna College first time, I met liz collar who is international student coordinator. She is very kind to me, and she encourage me join SRC, I went to SRC meetings regularly all the time, but I didn’t even know what SRC was! That is the reason why I told her, I don’t want to go to SRC anymore. But she said “why not? You should go and you have to go!”I asked” why?” she said:” because I said so!”But as ii receive this award today, I want to thank her. She helps me a lot.Truth be told, I am not the best student in Wantirna College, but I appreciate this award and I will try my best in future.I think I got 10 seconds left, I want to thank to Les and Vera who is my lovely home stay, thanks to Liz collar who is international student coordinator, I strongly want to thank to my mother, because she support me and gave me the opportunity to come to Australia. And thanks to Wantinran College, thanks to Australia and finally, thanks to everyone to be here tonight.Have a great night.大学优秀英语演讲比赛稿篇4Today I am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. What is success? It is what everyone is longing for.Sometimes success would be rather simple. Winning a gameis success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now I am standing here giving my speech is somehow also success. However, as a person's whole life is concerned, success becomes very complicated. Is fortune success? Is fame success? Is high s ocial status success? No, I don’t think so. I believe success is the realization of people's hopes and ideals.Nowadays, in the modern society there are many people who are regarded as the successful. And the most obvious characteristics of them are money, high position and luxurious life. So most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. But the problem is wether it is real success. We all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. If we keep chasing them, where is the end? I believe that all our dreams can come true if we have courage to pursue them .When I was young my father always asked me whatI would be in the future . Sometimes I found it very hard to givea certain reply . “ I want to be a doctor .” “ I want to be a teacher .” and “ I ’d like to be a scientist !” Many of these answers are perhaps very childish and ridiculous . But I never think they are far away .How time flies! Who is able to give a definition to his future ?I know clearly that those high buildings are based on solid foundation . As a student , I should have a reasonable aim , and study hard . My goal is to enter the best university for further study after middle school . I know it’s hard work , and I ’ll come across many difficulties and frustrations . But no matter what they are , I’ll keep working on it and never give up . My teacher says there ’s only one kind of people that are truly successful : those who are brave enough to put up with hardships . Even if I won’t achieve the goal , I have no regrets for what I have done , for I have struggled for my life .。

They may care about their illustrious names after death; they may feel attached to the affection of their offspring, but they never lay their hopes on their afterlife. They may also say that good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil, but they don't really believe any retribution in their after life. However, in the religious world or among the superstitious people, the belief in afterlife is very popular. They do not only believe in afterlife, but thousands of reincarnations as well. In the mysterious world, there are the paradise and the hell, the celestial beings and the gods, the Buddha and the Bodhisattvas.Maybe they really believed it, or maybe they just wanted to make use of people's veneration, the ancient emperors always declared that they were the real dragons, the sons of God, while the royal ministers claimed to be the reincarnations of various constellations. But can the stars reincarnate? Many people burn incense and kowtow, do good deeds and strive for virtues, not just for the present, but mainly to let God see their sincerity so as to be reborn into a better afterlife, or to achieve the highest enlightenment after several lives of practice. They do believe in afterlife. But I can't help asking: Suppose there were no afterlife, would you still do good deeds and strive for virtues? And If God does not see what you are doing, would you still be so upright and selfless? If you work, not for serving the public and liberating the others, but just for a better afterlife ofyour own, isn't it a little too selfish? Comparing with this kind of believers, those who don't believe in afterlife, but still keep doing good deeds, are the most sincere and honest philanthropists, because they do them not for themselves but for other. You may wonder if I believe in afterlife. My answer is: I know nothing about my previous life, so I dare not make improper comments on afterlife. But I do hope there's afterlife! Because our present life is so short that so many things slip away before our proper understanding. I have so many dreams, so many wishes, so many ambitions, as well as so many regrets and concerns. If there were no afterlife, all of them will remain unrealized!I'm not contented with the present commonplace life, I'm very much attached to the affections that should have been mine but have been washed away by the hurrying time, and I yearn for the perfection and maturity if I could start all over again. So believe it or not, I'd rather there were afterlife.大学生关于英语演讲比赛稿范文篇2What is friendship? It is to relate with somebody without need for money or objective. It’s my pleasure to stand here to make a speech. First of all , let me introduce myself. My name is TongYao. I am from Class 2 Grade 7 in ChengGong middle school ! Today , my topic is : “Innovative Thinking”Have you ever thought that what is Innovative Thinking ? Somebody will said ,“thinking something different !” In fact, it’s not so simple. Have you ever thought how to think something different ? Now , let me explain it to you in detail !First , we should admit that Innovative ideas do start in one mind before taking on the world. Only in this way ,we have the power of Innovation . For example , the radio, television, telephone and so on, all were developed by scientists . And these scientists all had the ability and courage to think something different . It is a well know fact that Albert Einstein was the mastermind of the nuclear bombs .Second , we should be good at discovering , and be able tobreak the conventions. Sometimes, there are a lot of subjects of Innovation around us . But more often we lack the ability of discovering So, only if we be good at discovering and summing up ,we can innovate .Finally, I want to say , as a middle school student in the new century, we must have the courage and confidence to make innovations.)And we should study hard for development of our country ! Because we are the builders of our motherland !Honorable teachers, ladies and gentlemen, and my fellow sutdents, according to what I have said above , have you learnt more about t he “Innovative Thinking” ? Of course ,you have ! I believe my speech is perfect ! And I also believe that as long as we expand our thinking , we will find something different . That’ s all ! Thank you for your listening!大学生关于英语演讲比赛稿范文篇5Once upon a time there was a hare who, boasting how he could run faster than anyone else, was forever teasing tortoise for its slowness. Then one day, the irate tortoise answered back: "Who do you think you are? There's no denying you're swift, but even you can be beaten!" The hare squealed with laughter."Beaten in a race? By whom? Not you, surely! I bet there's nobody in the world that can win against me, I'm so speedy. Now, why don't you try?"Annoyed by such bragging, the tortoise accepted the challenge. A course was planned, and the next day at dawn they stood at the starting line. The hare yawned sleepily as the meek tortoise trudged slowly off. When the hare saw how painfully slow his rival was, he decided, half asleep on his feet, to have a quick nap. "Take your time!" he said. "I'll have forty winks and catch up with you in a minute."The hare woke with a start from a fitful sleep and gazed round, looking for the tortoise. But the creature was only a short distance away, having barely covered a third of the course. Breathing a sigh of relief, the hare decided he might as well have breakfast too, and off he went to munch some cabbages he had noticed in a nearby field. But the heavy meal and the hot sun made his eyelids droop. With a careless glance at the tortoise, now halfway along the course, he decided to have another snooze before flashing past the winning post. And smiling at the thought of the look on the tortoise's face when it saw the hare speed by, he fell fast asleep and was soon snoring happily. The sun started to sink, below the horizon, and the tortoise, who had been plodding towards the winning post since morning, was scarcely a yard from the finish. At that very point, the hare woke with a jolt. He could see the tortoise a speck in the distance and away he dashed. He leapt and bounded at a great rate, his tongue lolling, and gasping for breath. Just a little more and he'd be first at the finish. But the hare's last leap was just too late, for the tortoise had beaten him to the winning post. Poor hare! Tired and in disgrace, he slumped down beside the tortoise who was silently smiling at him."Slowly does it every time!" he said.大学生关于英语演讲比赛稿范文篇6Facing this audience on the stage, I have the exciting feeling of participating in the march of history, for what we are facing today is more than a mere competition or contest. It is an assembly of some of China’s most talented and motivated people, representatives of a younger generation that are preparing themselves for the coming of a new century.I’m grateful that I’ve been given this opportunity, at sucha historic moment, to stand here as a spokesman of my generation and to take a serious look back at the past 15 years, a crucial period for every one of us and for this nation as well.Though it is only within my power to tell about my personal experience, and only a tiny fragment of it at that, it still represents, I believe, the root of a spirit which has been essential to me and to all the people bred by the past 15 years. In my elementary years, there was a little girl in the class who worked very hard but somehow could never do satisfactorily in her lessons. The teacher asked me to help her, and it was obvious that she expected a lot from me. but as a young boy, restless, thoughtless, I always tried to evade her so as to get more time to enjoy myself. One day before the final exam, she came up to me and said, Could you please explain this to me? I want very much to do better this time. I started explaining, and finished in a hurry. Pretending not to notice her still confused eyes, I ran off quickly. Nat surprisingly, she again did very badly in the exam. And two months later, at the beginning of the new semester, word came of her death of blood cancer. No one ever knew about the little task I failed to fulfill, but I couldn’t forgive myself. I simply couldn’t forget her eyes, which seem to be asking, Why didn’t you do a little more to help me, when it was so easy for you? Why didn’t you understand a little better the trust placed in you, so that I would not have to leave this world in such pain and regret?I was about eight or nine years old at that time, but in a way it was the very starting point of my life, for I began to understand the word responsibility and to learn to always do my duties faithfully and devotedly, for the implications of that sacred wordhas dawned on me: the mutual need and trust of people, the co-operation and inter-reliance which are the very foundation of human society.Later in my life, I continued to experience many failures. But never again did I feel that regret which struck me at the death of the girl, for it makes my heart satisfied to think that I have always done everything in my power to fulfill my responsibilities as best I can.As I grew up, changed and improved by this incident and many other similar ones, I began to perceive the changes taking place around me and to find that society, in a way, was in its formative years like myself. New buildings, new commodities and new fashions appear every day.大学生关于英语演讲比赛稿范文篇7Now according to the professional placement, I still take the new post of secretary of classes of groups, to continue services for students. Looking back, I found I was gradually grow into a desire for fighting sky eagle ... ... to thank business days to give me a platform to enhance their own quality, cast today, self-confidence, self-reliance of me!大学生关于英语演讲比赛稿范文篇8I grew up with all kinds of dreams. Today I want to share two of them. They both have to do with playing musical instruments. When I was four, Mom bought me an electric piano. The black instrument standing in the middle of the house scared me. Day after day, I had to practice with my piano teacher. I never liked her, and all I could remember about her was her impatient words, “Wrong,” “Wrong” and “Wrong” again. And Mom was always on her side, saying I was not smart enough or I did not practice hard enough.I did this for a year, but I never developed any interest. I practiced everyday simply because I had to. Many times in my dreams, I saw the long faces of Mom and the teacher and heard their stern words. Really, the dream should be more appropriately called a nightmare. Then one day, I saw Mom talk with the piano teacher softly, and afterwards, that teacher never showed up again, and the piano disappeared, too. Mom was unhappy, but I was glad because now I could watch cartoon shows on TV after dinner, never again any piano. In a few years’ time, the dream of another instrument started, and it started during an urheen or erhu concert given by a distinguished musician. The melodious tune carried me away, and I felt I was lying on the grassland, indulging myself with mild sunshine and sweet flowers. As the music stopped, I realized thishad been a beautiful dream, and I would like to continue this dream. That musician later on became my urheen teacher. For two years, he made me practice one hour every day, and the objective was to have me play urheen with him on the same stage. Whenever I made a mistake, he would also be quite harsh and made me practice even more. The pressure was indeed unbearable, but at the same time, the dream that started during that concert continued. When I was practicing, the dream seemed to carry me away, and moreover, my parents seemed to be in the dream too. They sat and listened quietly, as if they were also lying on the grassland, enjoying the sunshine and flowers. Anyhow, pressure was mingled with passion, and they worked together in pushing me forward. Each step of progress came from hard work but also brought immense pleasure.I admit that in the world of urheen, I was lucky in finding a balance between pressure and passion. In real life, however, there is often too much pressure, but too little passion, just like my piano nightmare. From primary school on, we have been forced to study day and night, to take tests every day, to copy vocabulary items five times and to recite every lesson in front of the teacher. All the dreams pupils have are the long faces of their teachers and parents, but not dreams with sunshine and flowers.I hope all teachers will realize that learning cannot go on without passion. I still remember my first urheen performance with my teacher. I was under much stress and didn’t sleep much the night before because I knew if I screwed up, it would also affect his reputation. When I walked onto the stage, I was so nervous that I almost held the urheen upside down. When the lights went on, to my great surprise, I saw my parents, fellow students and other teachers sitting on the first few rows, with bigsmile on their faces. It was just like the time when I was practicing. Passion suddenly overwhelmed me, and I played so well that night that even my urheen teacher didn’t know why. Of course I knew it, and I know my dream of playing urheen will continue. 大学生关于英语演讲比赛稿范文篇9Distinguished judges, teachers, dear friends:Hello, everybody! My name is, I come from. T oday, I am very glad to stand here and share with you my most sincere speech‘Flying youth, master our future!’Life is a process of growing up. Saying goodbye to childhood, we step into another important time of life‘the youth’.However, who can really say wh at the youth is ? A period of time? A belief? An attitude to life? Or anything else? We don’t know.A famous poet said ‘ youth is a lovely song ,where nothing is impossible ; youth is a meaningful book, you’ll be never bored of it ;youth is a rapid river ,it keeps on flowing day and night ;youth is a cup of tea ,it shows you different kinds of tastes in your life. ’As youth is so precious, of course, we must treasure it .Don’t let the limited time pass by, leaving nothing of significance to our future. Act ually, youth has a lot to do with our future. It’s necessary for us to prepare ourselves well for the future to come. So, what should we do? Here ,I’ll point out some tips to help equip ourselvesFirst of all, recognize the direction of your future. In other word, think of what you’d like to be some day. A teacher ? A doctor ? A writer? Don’t afraid of thinking big and great .Since you are young , you can dream of doing anything and becoming anyone in the futureWhat’s more , never ignore the power of knowl edge. Read more books and travel around. For one thing, it can increase your knowledge, for another, it’ll broaden your horizon.Last but not the least , stick to your dream. It easier said than done. After all, future is not all roses. So, we should have enough courage and determination to overcome all the difficulties.I firmly believe one sentence that‘If you think you can, of course you can!’Just believe we can make it! Keep on walking towards our dream. Flying youth ,master our future. From today, from now on ,from Duping Middle School ! Ready ?That’s all. Thank you so much for your attention !大学生关于英语演讲比赛稿范文篇10Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen:Today I would like to begin with a story. There was once a physical therapist who traveled all the way from America to Africa to do a census about mountain gorillas. These gorillas are a main attraction to tourists from all over the world; this put them severely under threat of poaching and being put into the zoo. She went there out of curiosity, but what she saw strengthened her determination to devote her whole life to fighting for those beautiful creatures. She witnessed a scene, a scene taking us to a place we never imaged we've ever been, where in the very depth of the African rainforest, surrounded by trees, flowers and butterflies, the mother gorillas cuddled their babies.Yes, that's a memorable scene in one of my favorite movies, called Gorillas in the Mist, based on a true story of Mrs. Diana Fossey, who spent most of her lifetime in Rwanda to protect the ecoenvironment there until the very end of her life.To me, the movie not only presents an unforgettable scene but also acts as a timeless reminder that we should not developthe tourist industry at the cost of our eco-environment.Today, we live in a world of prosperity but still threatened by so many new problems. On the one hand, tourism, as one of the most promising industries in the 21st century, provides people with the great opportunity to see everything there is to see and to go any place there is to go. It has become a lifestyle for some people, and has turned out to be the driving force in GDP growth. It has the magic to turn a backward town into a wonderland of prosperity. But on the other hand, many problems can occur - natural scenes aren't natural anymore. Deforestation to heat lodges are devastating Nepal. Oil spills from tourist boats are polluting Antarctica. Tribal people are forsaking their native music and dress to listen to U2 on Walkman and wear Nike and Reeboks. All these appalling facts have brought us to the realization that we can no longer stand by and do nothing, because the very thought of it has been eroding our resources. Encouragingly, the explosive growth of global travel has put tourism again in the spotlight, which is why the United Nations has made 20xx the year of ecotourism, for the first time to bring to the world's attention the benefits of tourism, but also its capacity to destroy our ecoenvironment. Now every year, many local ecoenvironmental protection organizations are receiving donations - big notes, small notes or even coins - from housewives, plumbers, ambulance drivers, salesmen, teachers, children and invalids. Some of them cannot afford to send the money but they do. These are the ones who drive the cabs, who nurse in hospitals, who are suffering from ecological damage in their neighborhood. Why? Because they care. Because they still want their Mother Nature back. Becausethey know it still belongs to them. This kind of feeling that I have, ladies and gentlemen, is when it feels like it, smells like it, and looks like it , it's all coming from a scene to be remembered, a scene to recall and to cherish. The other night, as I saw the moon linger over the land and before it was sent into the invisible, my mind was filled with songs.I found myself humming softly, not to the music, but to something else, someplace else, a place remembered, a place untouched, a field of grass where no one seemed to have been except the deer. And no matter who we are, what we do and where we go, in our minds, there's always a scene to remember, a scene worth our effort to protect it and fight for it.Thank you very much.大学生关于英语演讲比赛稿范文篇11Honorable judges, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen:It is a great honor and pleasure to be here on this beautiful Saturday morning to share with you my sentiments about life and passion for the English language.About a year and a half ago, I took part in my very first English Speech Contest. When I stood before the microphone with all eyes starring directly at me, I could hardly speak. I stood there, embarrassed and helpless, struggling in vain for the right thing to say. My fears had paralyzed me.While my passion for English has never changed, I lost my courage to speak in public. When my professor again encouraged me to take part in this Competition, I said “no.” I couldn’t endure yet another painful experience. He looked me straight in the eye and said something that pierced my heart. Iwill never forget his words. “Look,” he said, “We all have our fears, and you have yours. You could twist your ankle in a basketball game, but then be afraid to ever play again. Running away can never dispel your fears, but action will. A winner is not one who never fails, but one who never quits.”I spent a whole day with his words twisting and turning in my mind. Then I made the bravest and wisest decision of my life: I would face my fears – and take part in the competition! As it turned out, my dear old professor was right. Now, here I am, once again standing before a microphone. My heart is beating fast, and my mouth is dry, but most importantly, I have faced my fears -- and that makes all the difference!Thank you.大学生关于英语演讲比赛稿范文篇12Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Today I want to tell you a story about one of my friends, a lovely and smart girl who is always ready to help others. Being our grade leader, she is good at both work and study. In many people's opinion, she is excellent and perfect. But one day she told me she was gloomy and insecure. People around her considered her outstanding and flawless, thinking she could handle everything. But the more she thought about herself, the more disappointed she became. She found that she was far from perfection. Last week, she didn’t do well in her French quiz, and the day before yesterday, she was late for a conference. She felt depressed and frustrated, because she failed to be a perfect girl without any mistakes.I was surprised to hear that for I thought she had every reason to be confident. However, the expectation of perfection has become a burden to her. I told her no one could be perfect and I suggested she find her own position. In fact, people are so eager to be perfect that they demand too much of themselves. They want to be special and unique, and they want to have no defects or weaknesses. However, we can never avoid mistakes and errors. It’s impossible for us to be a superman or a superwoman. No matter how successful we are, there are always some flaws. If we hold that everything should be perfect, we would be overcritical. My friend now has changed her attitude. She accepts her shortcomings but still keeps a positive outlook. She is even more active and doesn’t allow the mistakes to hinder her pursuit of excellence. And I think that’s the way we should be!That’s all. Thank you!没有人可以完美无缺女士们、先生们,大家早上好!今天我想给大家讲一个我朋友的故事。

It is a great honor to stand before you today to share my thoughts on a topic that is not only pertinent to our current times but also has the potential to shape the future of higher education: the impact of technology on our institutions. As we all know, the world is undergoing a technological revolution that is transforming every aspect of our lives. From the way we communicateto the way we work, technology has become an integral part of our daily routines. In this context, higher education institutions find themselves at a crossroads. We must ask ourselves: how can we harness the power of technology to enhance the learning experience while preserving the core values of education?Introduction: The Digital RenaissanceTo begin, let us consider the digital renaissance that has swept across the globe. The advent of the internet, social media, and mobile devices has created a wealth of information at our fingertips. This abundance of knowledge has democratized education, making it more accessible topeople from all walks of life. However, this shift also brings about new challenges. The Challenges of Technology in Higher EducationFirstly, the rapid pace of technological advancement can be overwhelming. As educators, we must continuously adapt to new tools and platforms, ensuring that our curricula remain relevant and engaging. This requiresa significant investment in professional development and resources.Secondly, the rise of online learning platforms has raised questions about the role of traditional classroom settings. While online education offers flexibility and convenience, it also risks undermining the interactive and collaborative nature of face-to-face learning.Lastly, there is the issue of digital literacy. In an era where information is abundant but often unreliable, it is crucial that weteach our students how to critically evaluate sources and develop a discerning mindset. The Opportunities of Technology in Higher EducationDespite these challenges, the opportunities presented by technology are immense. Here are a few ways in which we can harness its power to transform higher education:1. Personalized Learning: Technology can enable us to tailor educational experiences to individual students' needs and learning styles. Adaptive learning platforms can provide personalized feedback and recommendations, helping students to progress at their own pace.2. Enhanced Collaboration: Online tools and platforms can facilitate collaboration between students and between students and faculty, regardless of geographical barriers. This can lead to a more diverse and inclusive learning environment.3. Global Access to Education: Technology can break down the barriers of time and space, allowing students from around the world to access high-quality education. This has the potential to democratize knowledge and bridge the global knowledge gap.4. Data-Driven Decision Making: By analyzing student data, we can gain insights into learning patterns and identify areas for improvement. This can help us make informed decisions about curriculum design, teaching methods, and resource allocation.Case Studies: Success StoriesTo illustrate the potential of technology in higher education, let me share a few success stories:- The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has made its course materials freely available online through the MIT OpenCourseWare project. This has allowed millions of people worldwide to access high-quality education resources.- The University of California, Berkeley, has developed the Berkeley Digital Humanities initiative, which uses digital tools to enhance humanities research and teaching.- Coursera, a leading online learning platform, has partnered with universities to offer courses to students around the world, bridging the gap between traditional and online education. Conclusion: Embracing the FutureIn conclusion, the impact of technology on higher education is undeniable. While it presents challenges, it also offers unprecedented opportunities. By embracing the digital renaissance, we can create a more personalized, collaborative, and inclusive educational experience. As we navigate the future, let us remember that technology is a tool, not a replacement for the human touch. We must strive to maintain the essence of education while harnessing the power of technology to create a brighter, more informed future for all.Thank you for your attention, and I welcome your questions and comments.[Applause]。

适合高校生的英语(演讲稿范文)1Good afternoon ,ladies and gentlemen!I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic is Opportunities and Challenges.First,I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom,a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon,he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”Needless to say. Till now,we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines,public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more,Olympic Games give a unique opportunityto inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question,”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”For us,I mean the Chinese youth. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is,but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up,we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others. At the end of my speech,I hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges.适合高校生的英语演讲稿范文2Good morning everyone:Its a great honor for me to stand here to deliver a speech to you. Then today I want to talk something about dreams and reality. As the famous Russian litterateur Lev Tolstoy (列夫、托尔斯泰)said,“Ideal is the beacon(烟火、灯塔). Without ideal, there is no secure (无虑的,平安的,安心的,牢靠的,(保险)的)direction; without a direction, there is no life.” So there’s no doubt that everyone needs his or her own ideal. Have you ever thought that what is practical and sensible(.明智的,有感觉的,明理的) will connect with our most treasured dreams? Maybe,to somebody, reality has little relation to ideal. To others nothing can be done without the sense of reality. So make our dreams a part of our reality. And make our reality a part of our dreams. There is no reason why our dreams must oppose our reality. Improve our dreams and our reality by bringing them together. As a university student, establishing a dream is one of the most important things we have to do everyone must see the reality clearly at first. Your family condition, your personal ability, your social intercourse (交往、沟通),your subject and the job you want to do,these things show you the reality and lead you to establish a dream.Further more, difficult or otherwise,we should put the power of reality into our dreams. Last but not least remember to work hard at the task of chasing 追赶our dreams. Do believe that we can achieve our ideal step by step by the passage of time!In the end,I want to share with you a poetry named I think I can.Maybe you can not understand the meaning of the poetry ,But do not be worried ,Let me tell you the meaningThank you for your listening!适合高校生的英语演讲稿范文3Hello,ladies and gentlemen! It is my honor to share my topic withyou here. And my topic is Time Is Valuable.?? Time flies. The article cong cong of Zhu Ziqing also tells us time is rare. We all know that :Time is life,at home we have parents advisement,at school we have teachers advisement. But who treasures time as life? Now let’s enjoy a story:One day a young man visited great educator Banjieming. When Banjieming opened the door,to the young man’s great surprise.:his house was very dirty. “I’m sorry,It’s too dirty. Wait a minute please. Banjieming said and closed the door. One minute later,Banjieming opened the door again and said:come in please . This time what the young man saw was a clean and clear sitting room.“OK,You may go now. Banjieming said ,“But I ,I havn’t remit to you”. The young man asked. “Isn’t it enough? Looking at the room,“ Banjieming said. “You have been here for one minute.” “One minute? One minute,Oh I know. You tell me a truth:We can do many things in a minute.” The young man left with satisfaction. The story is short but meaningful. Just like the story says:one minute isn’t long. But our life is made of such minutes. In fact only treasure time ,will you succeed, only treasure time, will you realize your ideal. Only treasure time will you achieve what you want.We should make good use of time to study hard or to do something meaningful for yourself. So,we should plan the time to study and relax, especially at use we have more free time at home,so that we can use that time to do a lot of things. However, how can we plan the time? There are different ways for different example, somebody like to study in the morning, and relax in the the contrary, somebody like to relax in the morning, and study in the body even think the best time to study is in the erent ways for different all the ways have one thing in common. That is the need for practical action. If you want to change a difficult situation,if you want to change yourself,if you want to make good use of time to study, you must put into not, your plan will be not meaningful. So dear fiends, please treasure every minutes of your life. Only like this will you have an excellent future. Thank you very much.适合高校生的英语演讲稿范文4Hello, everyone! 大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿(精选20篇)

大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿(精选20篇)大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿篇1Honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen, good morning!Today, my topic is "Changing Ourselves".At first, I'd like to tell you a little story about an insurance salesman in T okyo. Even though this man tried very hard to promote the insurance, nobody bought it. One day, he came to a small temple and began to brag about his insurance. After listening to his introduction, the monk said: "Your recommendation of insurance can't arouse any of my interests! When you are communicating with others, you must have the charm to attract others, or you will be unpromising in the future. Young man, try to change yourself!"The salesman thought deeply about each word. From then on, he invited all his friends to point out his weakness and kept on improving himself bit by bit for all his life. Thirty years later, he became a millionaire. And this man is the famous salesperson in the world: Yuan Yi Ping. His experience reflects one attitude: sometimes, we should change ourselves instead of changing the world.Human beings always scan others, therefore, lots of people just see the flaws of them, then they will blame and criticize the outside factors, some people will even try to change them! Unfortunately, they ignore the importance of the inner factors.Everybody in the world needs to examine himself critically, everybody has to learn to be tolerant and generous. You won't think the world is splendid unless you change your attitude first.Dear friends, we'd better remodel ourselves rather than blame each other. If we do so, we'll find that yesterday's sorrowis today's gratification, yesterday's opponent is today's assistant, and yesterday's failure is today's success! Remember: if we can change ourselves, we can change the whole world!Thank you!大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿篇2Leo T olstoy once said, everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself. He is right. We always have great plans and dreams in our minds… t oo ready to achieve something grand that changes the world or benefits all of mankind .For example; we hate pollution and have made up our minds to find new energy sources that keep the environment clean. Yet we still litter on the ground. We complain about traffic jams, so we plan to build more highways to solve the problem, but it never occurs to us that our failure to follow traffic regulations is the leading cause of this situation. We are so concerned that the violence in the media has a bad impact on our children, we urge the government to set laws to protect them. But, do we, as adults, set a good example for our kids? We use nasty words and even spit on the ground in front of them, I dare to say, we harm more!In my opinion, before we decide to change the world, we had better change ourselves first. As ordinary individuals, we do not have the power to change the world. But we can change our habit of littering, spitting, cussing, we can respect the environment around us, we must act as good models for our kids.If each of us does all of these little things, all of us, millions and millions of individuals together, together we will be strong …strong enough to change our world! So please, the next time you do something, think how your actions influence not only you, but those around you too, especially our children …and perhaps more importantly…our planet!大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿篇3I have a dream today.I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams. However, we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and s tick to it. So my dear friends, think ofyour old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿篇4Year by year, the spring return to the earth again, it may be said"the prairie fire burn not to exert, the spring breeze blow and living", grass with it special stubborn, walk through the four seasons.Although it have no floriferous fragrance, take light nice and secluded;Although it don't have Gao Da4 of tree, seem to be so of insignificant, it be not small but shame, it optimism upward, creator green of vast one, it don't account repay useful green display whole of the earth. The lovely grass, I appreciate you, you are to use you of of offer, use you of time change oneself of new looks, also change people's viewpoint to you.Although sometimes blow to kiss in the bise bottom, you would be tinily low to fall a head, however you just trembled to fall the dust of body, face strongly, the Ao sign a ground of outstanding on the mud.You don't have too many Diao decoration and have no clamor of city and car bearer to of prosperous, but have ground smile to face a kid especially, face what you face each have life of person, passion life, life medium of people also love grass of smile, because have you in the life of open-minded state of mind and optimism of attitude, there is also bright and beautiful sunlight.Although sometimes perhaps would be continuous to rain, brought the grass of light green excessive of bother, moist with accumulate water, total have sunlight of reappear. The spring breeze doesn't smell soil, the grass had again thriving of source of vitality, grass at morning of the morning Lou once more let us suck to absorb and make our moods receive benefit to dulcify with joys quick. The grass of , love of offer, make nothing exciting of life become Chong Ying;Grass, the big-hearted state of mind relax, it didn't need to be cover up, is a contented fully enjoy body interest;Grass, because of love but the United States, it be some and a little more careless to love to tolerate, rational, but touched the person's in the mind. The burst of light breeze is blow and the children's joys voice joke awakenned my thoughts and feelings. In awakely and the dim moonlight, originally the person's life not is also such as grass similar infinitesimal, but it use original of gentleness, affecting characteristic, like gaudiness of grass of flexible jade-green.The grain of life, give hope, grateful, taste, vitality, although sometimes very tired, own life of aureole happiness to end.大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿篇5When I was seven, I started learning English. I played games and sang English songs with other children. Sometimes, I watched English cartoons. It's funny. Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington, because my cousin is over there. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge University, I will be very happy.I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. Also I'll introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, and the gardens in Suzhou. I will teaching people of the world about the beautiful language of our country.I like the English language. To learn English is wonderful. I once wanted to be an English teacher . I also like Chineseliterature. When I was really young, I was able to remember lots of poems. I also wanted to be a teacher of Chinese. Now I think that both of my dreams can come true: I will be able to use English to teach foreign friends Chinese and share Chinese culture with them. So that more and more people will be able to get to know the 5000 years' history culture, and the prosperity of our great China. My future is not a dream. I am confident that it will come true. 大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿篇6Saying goodbye to childhood,we step into another important time in the pace of young, facing new situations, dealing with different problems……everyone has his ownunderstanding of young,it is a period of time of beauty and wonders, only after you haveexperienced the sour ,sweet ,bitter and salty can you really become a person of time of young is limitted,it may pass by without your attention, and when you discover what has happened ,it is always too ping the young well means a better time is waiting for you in the near future,or the situation may be opposite .having a view on these great men in the history of hunmanbeing, they all made full use of their youth time ,to do things that are useful to society,to the whole mankind, and as a cosquence ,they are remembered by latergenerations, admired by do something in the time of young, although you may not get achievements as these greatmen did ,though not for the whole word, just for youeself, for those around!the young is just like blooming flowers, they are so beautiful when blooming, they make people feel happy, but with timepassing by,after they withers ,moet people think they are so it is the same with young,we are enthusiastic when we are young, then we may lose our passion when getting older and we must treasure it ,don't let the limitted time pass by ,leaving nothing of significance.大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿篇7Honorable Judges, fellow students:Good afternoon!Recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. The college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. But will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? Will we be able to better the lives of others? Will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country? The cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. But the cynics are wrong. The college students I see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. We help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money. The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. But again, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. Last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer. As college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. We all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. I believe in all my fellow classmates. Though weare still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. I believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. We are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. I believe in our future. 大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿篇8Hello, Dear teachers and fellow students. It is my honor to be here on this beautiful Friday morning to share with you my view on “Me- time”.In my opinion, finding me-time is important. With the development of the modern society, we students in China have more and more pressure. We have to spare every minute to study very hard and join various kinds of out-of-class training courses to improve ourselves. So we are really in lack of me-time which is helpful to keep ourselves from being over-stressed、tired and worried.I do not have as much fun as before and I always miss my childhood. Three hours of homework and two piano lessons one day make me have hardly any me-time to relax myself. I was once an active basketball player on my school team. But now, basketball, my best friend, I haven’t touched it for almost two months. Me- time seems to have become a luxury.Last week, when I heard there was going to be a basketball match between our school and No 1 Middle School, I was so excited that I rushed home and told my parents the news. I asked my father, “ Dad, may I play basketball after school ? The coach says I am the best guard in our school. If I join the school basketball team, we are sure to beat No 1 Middle School this time.” My father showed his dispproval and said, “ Of course you can’t . I’m disappointed at you. Why do you have s uch a sillyidea? Don’t forget to work hard on your schoolwork and piano lessons.” In my parents’ points of view, playing basketball is a waste of time.As far as I’m concerned, the school assignment to the junior school students is too heavy. To grow into healthy and well-rounded adults, we should be allowed to have more me-time for relaxation. The pressure put on our students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally. My dear teachers, I hope you can assign less homework so we students can enjoy a period of me-time. My dear parents, would you please not follow me and remind me of study all the time? Please trust me that I will do my best. My dear friends, why not stop for a while from your heavy homework and do anything you like? It’s me-time. I do think, that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to us students and to the society as a whole. Finding me-time will make our life rich, colorful and rewarding.Thank you for your attention!大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿篇9It never be explained why so many students on campus cheat in their examinations nowadays, regardless of the danger that teachers find their secret, as it did in the case of the boy student in the cartoon/photo above. What is conveyed in the drawing is most thought-provoking and should arouse our social concern. The implied meaning of the picture is worth discussing. Firstly, the youngs always become quite illogical when they try to descide what can be done and what can not be done.In the light of this statement, some students are often willingto sacrifice their credibility for the privillage of getting more points and being regarded as outstanding students. Furthermore, some one is afired that he can't pass the final exams leading to his degree, in the fruit of being absorbed into computer games or disappointment in love.Consequently, only by cheating can they graduate and get the degree on time. Although many reasons share the problem of this drawing, one of them can be singled out for recognition: the conditions of our sociaty. Such is human nature, that we can't avoid being influenced by environment. In short, the root of cheating in examinations and credibilililess on campus is combinition of many factors. There is no blinding at the fact that, in dealing with a challenge on such scale, some strong, effective and necessary counter-measures should be put on our agenda. To the begin with, a widespread education campaign should be launched to make students realize the importance of credibility. What's more, the government departments at different levels and related orgnizations should make joint efforts and coordination of programs to creat a more credit environment for us. Only by this package deal, can build up a harmonious and healthy sociaty.大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿篇10Ladies and Gentlemen:Every one of us, rich or poor, should at least have one or two good friends. My friends will listen to me when I want to speak, will wipe my eyes when I cry, will take care of me when I am sick, and my friends will go together with me side by side through this journey of life.Friendship is a kind of treasure in our lives. It is actually likea bottle of wine, the longer it is kept, the sweeter it will be. It is also like a cup of tea. When we are thirsty, it will be our best choice, but when we have enough time to enjoy ourselves, it is also the most fragrant drink. All of us have to spare some time for personal lives. We have to find the chance to express our emotion and love. When staying with our friends, we can release ourselves completely. We can do whatever we want, we can laugh together, talk together, and even cry to-gether. I should say that being together with our best friends is the most wonderful moment of our lives. As we know, we would feel lonely if we didn't even have a friend. But it doesn't mean we could depend on our friends all the time. 第1篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is a great honor to stand before you today and share my thoughts on a topic that is not only relevant to us as young adults but also crucial for the future of our planet. The topic I wish to discuss is "Embracing the Future: The Role of Young Leaders in Shaping a Sustainable World."As we gather here today, the world is facing unprecedented challenges. Climate change, pollution, inequality, and technological advancements are just a few of the issues that demand our attention and action. It is within this context that I believe the role of young leaders becomes paramount. We, as the younger generation, are the inheritors of this world, and it is our responsibility to ensure that it remains a viable and sustainable place for future generations.Firstly, let us acknowledge the power of youth. We are the most connected generation in history. With the advent of social media and digital platforms, we have the ability to spread awareness, mobilize our peers, and influence public opinion on a global scale. This connectivity has given us a unique opportunity to amplify our voices and bring about change. We can use this power to raise awareness about environmental issues, promote social justice, and advocate for policies thatprioritize sustainability. One of the most pressing issues we face today is climate change. The effects of global warming are becoming increasingly evident, with extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and loss of biodiversity. As young leaders, we have a responsibility to take action and promote sustainable practices. This can be achieved through various means:1. Education: We must educate ourselves and others about the causes and consequences of climate change. By increasing awareness, we can inspire action and promote informed decision-making.2. Innovation: We have the creativity and drive to develop innovative solutions to combat climate change. This can involve researchingrenewable energy sources, developing sustainable agricultural practices, or creating eco-friendly products.3. Advocacy: We must use our voices to advocate for policies that prioritize sustainability. This includes pressuring governments and corporations to reduce their carbon emissions, invest in renewable energy, and protect natural habitats.Moving beyond climate change, we must also address the issue of inequality. The world is divided by class, race, gender, and socio-economic status. As young leaders, we have the power to bridge these divides and create a more equitable society. Here are a few ways in which we can do so:1. Empowerment: We must work to empower marginalized communities by providing access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities. This will help reduce poverty and inequality.2. Inclusive Leadership: We should strive to be inclusive leaders, ensuring that our teams and organizations reflect the diversity of society. This will not only promote innovation but also foster a more just and equitable world.3. Solidarity: We must stand together in solidarity with those who are affected by inequality. By supporting social justice movements and advocating for the rights of all individuals, we can create a more just and equal society. In addition to addressing these critical issues, we must also embrace the opportunities presented by technological advancements. As young leaders, we are well-equipped to navigate the digital landscape and harness technology for the betterment of society. Here are a few ways in which we can do so:1. Digital Literacy: We must ensure that everyone has access to digital literacy training, enabling them to navigate the digital world and participate in the global economy.2. Technology for Good: We can use technology to address social challenges by developing apps and platforms that promote education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.3. Collaboration: We must collaborate with other stakeholders, including governments, businesses, and non-profit organizations, to leverage technology for the greater good.As young leaders, we have the potential to shape the future in profound ways. However, it is essential that we do not take this responsibility lightly. We must be proactive, informed, and compassionate. Here are a few tips to help us on our journey:1. Stay Informed: Keep yourself updated on current events, scientific research, and social trends. This will enable you to make informed decisions and contribute meaningfully to the conversation.2. Lead by Example: Demonstrate sustainable practices in your own life, and encourage others to do the same. This can include reducing your carbon footprint, recycling, and conserving resources.3. Build Networks: Connect with like-minded individuals and organizations to share ideas, resources, and support. This will help you amplify your impact and create a ripple effect of positive change.4. Embrace Failure: Understand that failure is a part of the learning process. Do not be afraid to take risks and learn from your mistakes. In conclusion, as young leaders, we have a unique opportunity to shape the future of our world. By addressing the challenges of climate change, inequality, and technological advancements, we can create a sustainable, just, and equitable society. Let us embrace our power, stay informed, and lead with compassion. Together, we can make a difference and leave a lasting legacy.Thank you for your attention, and let us work towards a brighter future.[Applause]第2篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon. It is an honor to stand before you today to address the theme of "Embracing the Future: The Role of Young Minds in Shaping a Sustainable World." As young adults, we find ourselves at a critical juncture in history, where the decisions we make today will have a lasting impact on the planet and its inhabitants for generations to come. The world we live in is rapidly changing. Technological advancements, climate change, and global economic shifts are transforming the landscape of our planet. These changes present both challenges and opportunities, and it is up to us, the younger generation, to rise to the occasion and play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future.Firstly, let us acknowledge the power of youth. We are the most innovative, adaptable, and resourceful generation in history. Our minds are unburdened by the constraints of traditional thinking, and we have the potential to imagine and create solutions that were once thought impossible. From renewable energy to sustainable agriculture, fromsocial entrepreneurship to environmental activism, young people have been at the forefront of many groundbreaking initiatives.Consider the story of Greta Thunberg, a young climate activist from Sweden. At just 15 years old, she sparked a global movement by striking from school to demand action on climate change. Her courage and determination have inspired millions of young people around the world to join the fight for a sustainable future. This is just one example of how the power of youth can influence global change. Now, let us explore the challenges we face. The environmental crisis is one of the most pressing issues of our time. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has warned that we must take urgent action to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius to avoid catastrophic consequences. As young adults, we are inheritors of this crisis, and it is our responsibility to take action.Education is key. We must be well-informed about the issues at hand and understand the science behind climate change, pollution, and resource depletion. By equipping ourselves with knowledge, we can become informed advocates for change and inspire others to do the same.Innovation is another crucial aspect of our role. We must embrace new technologies and approaches that can help us reduce our ecological footprint and create a more sustainable world. Renewable energy, clean transportation, and sustainable urban planning are just a few examples of the innovative solutions that young people can drive forward.Collaboration is also essential. No single individual or organization can solve the complex problems we face alone. We must work together across borders, cultures, and disciplines to share knowledge, resources, and ideas. By fostering a sense of global citizenship, we can create a more inclusive and sustainable future for all.Furthermore, we must not underestimate the power of advocacy. Young people have the ability to raise awareness and influence public opinion. By using social media, attending protests, and engaging in dialogue with policymakers, we can amplify our voices and push for the changes we want to see.Let us also remember the importance of personal responsibility. As individuals, we can make small changes in our daily lives thatcontribute to a larger movement. This includes reducing our consumption, recycling, and supporting sustainable businesses. Every action, no matter how small, has the potential to create a ripple effect ofpositive change. In conclusion, the future of our planet lies in the hands of young people. We have the potential to be the leaders, innovators, and change-makers that the world needs. By embracing the challenges ahead, we can create a sustainable world that is equitable, prosperous, and resilient. Here are some key points to remember:1. The power of youth: We are innovative, adaptable, and resourceful.2. The challenges we face: Environmental crisis, climate change, and resource depletion.3. Education: We must be well-informed about the issues at hand.4. Innovation: We must embrace new technologies and approaches.5. Collaboration: We must work together across borders and disciplines.6. Personal responsibility: We must make small changes in our daily lives.Ladies and gentlemen, the future is not a distant dream; it is a reality that we are shaping right now. Let us rise to the occasion and become the leaders of tomorrow. Together, we can create a sustainable worldthat is worth inheriting.Thank you.第3篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon. 最好的大学生英语比赛演讲稿3篇最好的大学生英语比赛演讲稿篇1Crossing the SeaGood afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. The title of my speech today is"Crossing the Sea".An English poet by the name of Rudyard Kipling once wrote in his poem "We and They":"All the people like us are WeAnd everyone else is TheyWe live over the seaWhile They live over the wayWe eat pork and beef with cowhorn-handled knivesThey who gobble their rice off a leafAre horrified out of their lives."When these lines first caught my eyes,I was shocked-how could two peoples remain so isolated and ignorant of each other in the past?Today's society,of course,is an entirely different picture. Those people who used to eat with cowhorn-handled knives might be very skillful in using chopsticks, and those people who used to gobble their rice might be as well have taken to fish and chips.Indeed, just take China as an example:Our modern life has been influenced by Western style of living in so many ways that it's no longer surprising to see teenagers going crazy about rock-and-roll,whole families dining out at McDonald's and even rather elderly people dressed in Apple Jeans. However, these are only some expressions of the cultural changes taking place in our society today. What is really going on is a subtle but significant restructuring of the nation's mentality.Just look around. How many college graduates are ready to compete aggressively for every job opportunity, whereas not long ago they were asked just to sit idle and wait for whatever was to be assigned to them by the government? How many young people are now eager to seek for an independent life whereas only two decades ago they would rely totally on their parents to arrange for their future?Ask anyone who participates in today's speech contest.Who has not come with a will to fight and who has not come determined to achieve self-fulfillment in winning the game? And I'm quite certain that if Confucius had lived to see today's China,he would have been horrified to see young lovers kissing each other in public places in an unreserved expression of their passion. It is therefore evident that we as descendants of an ancient Eastern civilization are already living under strong inf1uence of the Western culture. But it is not only in China that we find the incorporation of the two cultures.Take the United States as an example:During the1980s,in face of the overwhelming competition from Japan, many American companies suchas the Ford began to adopt a teamwork management from their rivals, the essence of which, lay at the very core of Eastern culture.Take the Chinese acupuncture as another example:This traditional treatment of diseases is finally finding its way to the West and hence the underlying notion that illness is resulted from the imbalance between Yin and Yang within the body--an idea which would strike any Westerner as incredible in the past!Ladies and Gentlemen,we live in a great epoch when the global integration of economy and the information revolution have brought cultures of the world closer than ever before. We live in a particular era when countries,East and West, find themselves in need of readjusting their traditional values. We live,at the same time,at a critical juncture of our evolution because such problems as ethnic conflicts and regional unrest are increasingly posing a threat to the peace and happiness of the whole human race.To cope with such an era and to embrace an even brighter future,we need to learn to live more harmoniously in a world community which is becoming smaller and smaller. My dear fellow students, our command of the English language renders it possible for us to gain an insight into Western culture while retaining our own cultural identity. Therefore,it is our sacred responsibility to promote the cultural exchanges and hence the mutual understanding between China and the rest of the world. It is my happiest dream that the new generation of Chinese will not only grow up drinking Coca-Cola and watching Hollywood, but also be blessed with the far-reaching benefits of multiple cultures;benefits that our forefathers had never, ever dreamed of.To end my speech,I would like to quote Rudyard Kipling again:"All the people like us are WeAnd everyone else is TheyBut once you cross over the seaYou will end by looking on WeAs only a sort of They"Thank you.穿越海洋女士们、先生们,晚上好。

I will never forget his words. My heart is beating fast, and my mouth is dry, but most importantly, I have faced my fears -- and that makes all the difference!Thank you.大学生英语演讲比赛稿篇4Whether there's afterlife, the answer has never been the same. The atheists deny after life, believing that our life is no more than from the cradle to the grave. They may care abouttheir illustrious names after death; they may feel attached to the affection of their offspring, but they never lay their hopes on their afterlife. If you work, not for serving the public and liberating the others, but just for a better afterlife of your own, isn't it a little too selfish? Comparing with this kind of believers, those who don't believe in afterlife, but still keep doing good deeds, are the most sincere and honest philanthropists, because they do them not for themselves but for other. You may wonder if I believe in afterlife. My answer is: I know nothing about my previous life, so I dare not make impropercomments on afterlife. So believe it or not, I'd rather there were afterlife.大学生英语演讲比赛稿篇5Honorable teachers, ladies and gentlemen, and my fellow sutdents: Good morning! It’s my pleasure to stand here to make a speech. First of all , let me introduce myself. My name is TongYao. I am from Class 2 Grade 7 in ChengGong middle school ! It is a well know fact that Albert Einstein was the mastermind of the nuclear bombs .Second , we should be good at discovering , and be able to break the conventions. Sometimes, there are a lot of subjects of Innovation around us . But more often we lack the ability ofdiscovering So, only if we be good at discovering and summing up ,we can innovate .Finally, I want to say , as a middle school student in the new century, we must have the courage and confidence to make innovations.)And we should study hard for development of our country ! Because we are the builders of our motherland !Honorable teachers, ladies and gentlemen, and my fellow sutdents, according to what I have said above , have you learnt more about the “Innovative Thinking” ? Thank you for your listening!大学生英语演讲比赛稿篇6Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen:Today I would like to begin with a story. Diana Fossey, who spent most of her lifetime in Rwanda to protect the ecoenvironment there until the very end of her life.To me, the movie not only presents an unforgettable scenebut also acts as a timeless reminder that we should not develop the tourist industry at the cost of our eco-environment.Today, we live in a world of prosperity but still threatened by so many new problems. Why? Because theycare. Because they still want their Mother Nature back. Because they know it still belongs to them. And no matter who we are, what we do and where we go, in our minds, there's always a scene to remember, a scene worth our effort to protect it and fight for it.Thank you very much.大学生英语演讲比赛稿篇7Once upon a time there was a hare who, boasting how he could run faster than anyone else, was forever teasing tortoise for its slowness. "I'll have forty winks andcatch up with you in a minute."The hare woke with a start from a fitful sleep and gazed round, looking for the tortoise. Poor hare! Tired and in disgrace, he slumped down beside the tortoise who was silently smiling at him."Slowly does it every time!" he said.大学生英语演讲比赛稿篇8General IntroductionI am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. It is an assembly of some of China’s most talented and motivated people, representatives of a younger generation that arepreparing themselves for the coming of a new century.I’m grateful that I’ve been given this opportunity, at such a historic moment, to stand here as a spokesman of my generation and to take a serious look back at the past 15 years, a crucial period for every one of us and for this nation as well.Though it is only within my power to tell about my personal experience, and only a tiny fragment of it at that, it still represents, I believe, the root of a spirit which has been essential to me and to all the people bred by the past 15 years. Why didn’t you understand a little better the trust placed in you, so that I would not have to leave this world in such pain and regret?I was about eight or nine years old at that time, but in a way it was the very starting point of my life, for I began to understandthe word responsibility and to learn to always do my duties faithfully and devotedly, for the implications of that sacred word has dawned on me: the mutual need and trust of people, the co-operation and inter-reliance which are the very foundation of human society.Later in my life, I continued to experience many failures. New buildings, new commodities and new fashions appear every day.大学生英语演讲比赛稿篇11I grew up with all kinds of dreams. Then one day, I saw Mom talk with the pianoteacher softly, and afterwards, that teacher never showed up again, and the piano disappeared, too. As the music stopped, I realized this had been a beautiful dream, and I would like to continue this dream. All the dreams pupils have are the long faces of theirteachers and parents, but not dreams with sunshine and flowers.I hope all teachers will realize that learning cannot go on without passion. I still remember my first urheen performance with my teacher. I was under much stress and didn’t sleep much the night before because I knew if I screwed up, it would also affect his reputation. When I walked onto the stage, I was so nervous that I almost held the urheen upside down. When the lights went on, to my great surprise, I saw my parents, fellow students and other teachers sitting on the first few rows, with big smile on their faces. It was just like the time when I was practicing. Passion suddenly overwhelmed me, and I played so well that night that even my urheen teacher didn’t know why. Of course I knew it, and I know my dream of playing urheen will continue. 大学生英语演讲比赛稿篇12Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment. When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,"Richness, can you take me with you?"Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!""I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage myboat," Vanity answered.Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you.""Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder, Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?""It was Time," Knowledge answered."Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."大学生英语演讲比赛稿篇13I have been in University for about one year. During my stay here, I came to realize that university life is like drinking coke. We experience all tastes of life here, sour, sweet, bitter and hot.I am from Province, which is far away from here. I often miss my Mum, friends, and relatives in my hometown. However, I can't see them very often. So loneliness always keeps me company. I am sad that I can't be there with them.Lucky for me, life in university is rich and colorful. With more free time,we can do many more things besides study, such as joiningsocieties clubs, and taking part-time jobs. Such activities not only make our life more colorful, but also help us improve all kinds of skills. The university is a society miniature, what we learn。
