Libraries Become Useless at the Age of Information Nowadays, people are divided on the question whether traditional libraries become useless at the age of information. The perspective of each side is listed as follows: Some people claim that people do not need traditional libraries any more at the age of information. Because the Internet contains almost all information we try to find, and the digital libraries could meet everybody’s demand. However, others content that traditional libraries should be a required place where people search for knowledge. Because the traditional libraries provide an ideal atmosphere under which people could concentrate on reading. And paper books are better choices to some people.
For my part, the traditional libraries are the same importance as the digital libraries. People could choose different ways to search for information based on their own habit if the traditional libraries and the digital libraries co-exist.
