2023四级英语作文真题及答案12月份全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The 2023 CET-4 Test Was Super Tough!Hey guys! I'm just a little kid but my big brother took the December 2023 CET-4 exam to try to get into a good university. He let me take a peek at the test questions after he was done and wow, they looked really hard! I'll tell you all about what was on the test. The listening section was first. My brother said some of the recordings were pretty clear but others had all sorts of weird accents and background noise that made them almost impossible to understand. There was one recording about a lady talking about her cooking habits that seemed straightforward enough. But then another one was all about some super complicated science experiment and my brother could barely follow any of the technical words. Yikes!Next up was the reading section and boy was it a doozy! The passages were just packed full of big fancy vocabulary words that even made my brother's head spin. One passage was aboutthe history of some ancient civilization. Another rambled on and on about the differences between eastern and western philosophies. And the one my brother dreaded most was this crazy long reading about theoretical physics concepts like black holes and gravitational waves. He said it was like it was written in a different language! My brother had to make his best guess on most of the questions because he could barely understand the passages at all.The writing section is what really did my brother in though. The question asked test takers to choose between two opposite points of view and write a coherent, well-structured essay arguing for one side or the other using specific examples and evidence. The two viewpoints were: 1) Social media is an invaluable tool for connecting people and spreading important information, or 2) Social media is a pernicious threat that promotes disinformation, decreases productivity, and erodes interpersonal relationships. Those are both pretty complex concepts for an adult, never mind a 22-year-old college student still trying to figure out life! My brother didn't know which side to argue for because he could see pros and cons to both viewpoints. He ended up just kind of winging it and wrote a so-so essay that tried to argue a middleground between the two extremes. Hopefully the graders go easy on him! After sweating through the writing section, my poor brother still had the translation part left to go. He had to translate a few harrowing paragraphs from English to Chinese about uber technical topics like gene editing, composite nanomaterials, and cloud computing security protocols. Most of the vocabulary was way over his head so he gave a valient effort but definitely got a lot of those questions wrong.By the time he finished, my brother looked like a wet dishrag! He was completely mentally drained and discouraged because he felt like he totally bombed the test. I gave him a big hug and lots of encouragement though. I mean scoring well on the CET-4 is really tough and he was just doing his best. My brother is still really smart, kind, and works incredibly hard. I'm positive he'll get into a great school because he has so many amazing qualities beyond just test scores.Taking big standardized tests like the CET-4 sounds like it totally stinks! I'm just a little kid but I'm going to keep hitting the books and learning English because those types of exams are probably only going to get harder as I get older. But no matter what, I'll never let a bad test day get me down because there'sway more to life than acing a bunch of exam questions. Keeping a positive attitude and believing in yourself is what really matters in the end. Hang in there guys, you got this!篇2The 2023 CET-4 English Test Writing PartHi friends! Today I want to tell you all about the writing section of the big English test called the CET-4 that happened in December 2023. The CET-4 is a very important test for university students in China who want to show they are great at English. One of the writing questions on the test asked students to write a letter to a friend describing their hometown. Can you imagine what you might write about your hometown? You could talk about the cool parks, the yummy restaurants, the fun activities to do, and all the nice people who live there. Writing about your hometown lets you share what you love most.Another question was to write an essay giving your views on banning plastic bags and bottles. Plastic is really bad for the environment, but it's also really convenient. You'd have to think about both the pros and cons in your essay. Do you think we should get rid of all plastic bags and bottles? Or just cut down on using them? It's a tough decision! The next topic was to write a speech persuading your classmates to join an after-school club or activity. Maybe you love playing soccer and want more people to join your team. Or perhaps you're really good at art and think everyone should join the art club. You'd have to get really convincing and give lots of great reasons why your club is the best! Then there was an essay question asking what students can do to prepare themselves for the working world after university. That's a very grown-up topic! You might write about the importance of studying hard, getting internships, learning to be responsible and on time, and developing good communication skills. Employers are always looking for well-prepared new graduates. The final writing task was about the advantages and disadvantages of living in a big city versus a small town. Big cities are exciting with lots of jobs, restaurants, theaters, and more. But small towns are quieter, safer, and less crowded. Which would you prefer to live in and why? You'd need to compare the two very different lifestyles. Those were the main writing topics that students had to write about on the big English test last year. Writing good essays takes a lot of practice thinking critically, organizing your ideas, and expressing yourself clearly. The CET-4 tests are really hard, but studying English is super important. Maybe someday you'll have to take a big test like this too! Just keep working hard on your English skills.Whew, that was a lot to talk about the CET writing section! I hope this helped explain what students had to write about. Let me know if you have any other questions!篇32023 CET-4 English Writing Real Question and Answer DecemberHi friends! Today I'm gonna tell you all about the real question and answer for the English writing part of the big CET-4 test in December 2023. The CET-4 is a super important English test for university students in China. Getting a good score can really help with getting a job later on.So for the writing part, the question was: "Some students think going to university just after high school is not a good idea. They believe taking a year off before university, known as a 'gap year', allows students to work, travel or pursue other interests before starting their university studies. Do you agree or disagree? Use reasons and examples to support your response."Whew, that's a really long question! Basically they wanted us to say if we think it's better to take a gap year before going to university or just go straight there after high school.Lots of my classmates disagreed and said it's better not to take a gap year. Their reasons were:If you take a year off, you might lose your academic skills and motivation for studying. It's hard to get back into the student mindset after taking a long break. You waste a whole year before starting your university education and career path. That's a long time, especially for fields like medicine or engineering where you need many years of education.Gap years can be expensive for travel, living expenses if working, etc. Many students and families can't afford this. There's a risk you may not actually go to university after the gap year is over. You could get distracted or lazy and give up on further education. Those are some pretty good points! Taking a gap year does have potential downsides. But here's why I and some other students think gap years are actually awesome:You get a break from many years of nonstop studying. This helps you recharge your batteries and return to university refreshed and motivated. You can work during the year to make money for tuition and living expenses. This reduces debt from student loans.Traveling expands your horizons. You see new cultures, try amazing food, and have adventures! This life experience helps you mature. You can pursue hobbies or causes you're passionate about, like art, music, volunteering, etc. This self-discovery helps shape your future path.A gap year gives you independence and life skills before university. You learn to manage money, cook, work hard, etc. After lots of thought, I decided to agree that gap years are beneficial overall. Of course, not everybody has to take one. But the experience can be so valuable! For my gap year plan, I'm going to work part-time to save money. I also really want to travel around Asia - seeing places like Thailand, Japan, and India would be a dream! And I'd love to volunteer too, maybe building houses or teaching kids. Oh, andI'll finally have time to get better at playing the guitar which is my biggest hobby. My parents weren't sure about me taking a gap year at first. But now they think it will help me become a more independent, well-rounded person before heading to university. I just need to be responsible and have a good plan.Well, that was my answer for the writing question! The example argument showed how a gap year can be really篇4The 2023 College English Test Was Really Tough!Hey friends! I want to tell you all about the big English test I had to take last December. It was called the College English Test Band 4, but I'm just a kid in elementary school so I'm not sure why they make us take a college test. Anyway, it was super hard and I thought I'd share about the writing part since that was the biggest challenge. The first writing question asked us to read a short passage about animals migrating long distances every year. It talked about how birds fly thousands of miles and whales swim across whole oceans when the seasons change. After reading that, wehad to write a summary of the main points in about 100 words. That sounds easy, but it was actually really hard to fit everything important into such a short space!I tried to write something like "Every year, many animal types travel very far distances for new seasons. Birds can fly across countries, and whales swim across oceans. They do this to find new areas with better weather and food to eat as the seasons change and it gets too cold or hot where they live." I had to leave out a bunch of little details, but I think I got the main idea across in my summary. What do you think? Would you have written it differently? The next writing part was a short essay and this one was so hard! The question gave us a few sentences stating that "Social media has become an essential part of life for many people in today's society, especially young people." Then it asked if we agree or disagree with this opinion about social media being so important nowadays. We had to write a whole essay of about 200 words to share our thoughts. In my essay, I wrote that I do agree social media is very important and commonly used, especially for kids my age. I said apps like TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat let us easily share videos, pictures, and messages with friends any time we want.Social media makes it simple to stay connected and know what's going on with our classmates, family members, celebrities we like, and more. However, I also wrote that social media has some negative impacts too. I pointed out how it can be addictive and make people spend too much time on their phones instead of playing outside or reading books. There are also issues like online bullying, sharing private information, or believing false rumors that spread quickly on social platforms. To conclude, I said I support using social media, but in moderation and safely by being smart about what you view and post online. I think striking that balanced perspective covering both positive and negative aspects was crucial for a high-scoring essay response. The last writing task was by far the biggest challenge - we had to write a full essay of around 400 words! The topic asked us to discuss the importance of international cooperation and cultural exchange between different countries in our globalized world today.I started my essay by explaining that the world has become extremely interconnected in the modern age due to faster transportation like planes and trains as well as communicationtechnologies like the internet and translation tools. This increased globalization means different countries and cultures inevitably interact and depend on each other more than ever before. Then I stated my thesis that international cooperation and cultural exchange between nations is absolutely critical for several key reasons. First, it fosters greater understanding, respect, and tolerance between diverse societies. Learning about other customs, values, foods, music, and more broadens our perspectives.Secondly, I argued that international cooperation is necessary for solving major global issues that affect everyone on Earth like climate change, disease pandemics, poverty, terrorism, and more. No single country can adequately address these massive challenges alone - we must work together across borders. For my third main point, I discussed how international cultural exchange drives innovation as ideas, knowledge, and best practices get shared and combined in new ways across cultures. Many major scientific and technological breakthroughs happened due to this cross-pollination of intellectual discourse worldwide. Finally, I noted how international relations and welcoming immigrant communities strengthens a country's economy through increased trade, tourism, a diverse workforce, and an influx of new skills and talents. Countries isolated from the world inevitably stagnate over time.In my conclusion paragraph, I re-stated my position that global cooperation between countries is indispensable for creating a more peaceful, prosperous world for all. Despite cultural differences, we are one human family and our fates are intertwined in this modern era.Phew, that's about all I can remember from this tough essay test! Writing for hours straight about reading passages, personal opinions, and big themes like global cooperation really took a lot out of me. But I tried my best and I'm proud of the effort I put into communicating my thoughts as clearly as I could at an elementary level.Let me know if you have any other questions! I'm always happy to discuss more about navigating these high-stakes English exams that are way too advanced for kids like me. Gotta practice that writing though, right? Thanks for reading, friends!篇5The 2023 CET-4 English Writing TestHi friends! I'm going to tell you all about the CET-4 English writing test from last December. The CET-4 is a super important English test for university students in China. It's really hard but I'll do my best to explain it!The writing part had two questions. The first one was pretty easy. You had to write a letter to a friend about your summer vacation plans. I love writing letters so this question was fun! Here's kind of what I wrote: "Dear Xiao Ming, How are you? I'm so excited for summer break! I have big big plans. First, my family is going to Beijing to see the Great Wall of China. The Great Wall is a huge huge ancient wall that goes on forever. People built it a long long time ago to protect from enemies. I can't wait to climb up it and look at the amazing view!""After Beijing, we're going to Hainan Island for one week. Hainan is a beautiful tropical island in the very south of China. We're staying at a beach resort and I'll get to swim, snorkel, and build sandcastles every day. We might even see dolphins or whales in the ocean! At night, there will be yummy seafood and we can watch the sunset on the beach.""When I get back home, I want to have a few sleepovers with my best friends like you. We can watch movies, play video games, and eat lots of snacks and candy. It's going to be the best summer ever! What about you? What fun activities do you have planned? Write back soon and tell me everything! Your friend, David."That's just an example but I think it's a pretty good letter, right? I covered my main vacation plans in detail and asked my friend about their plans too. Sleepovers, beach trips, Beijing - what could be better? The second writing question on the test was much harder. You had to write a whole essay about the possible future impacts of artificial intelligence or AI. AI is like really really smart computer programs that can learn and make decisions kind of like humans.I struggled a bit with this essay to be honest. But here's basically what I wrote:"Artificial intelligence or AI is computer software that can solve problems, make decisions, and basically think like a human brain. AI is already being used today in many fields like healthcare, transportation, and finance. But AI will likely become much more advanced and important in the future.""One potential positive impact of AI is that it can help solve some of the world's biggest challenges. AI programs can analyze huge amounts of data on things like climate change, disease, and poverty. They can then suggest solutions that humans may not think of. AI could also control self-driving cars and other vehicles, reducing traffic and accidents. In medicine, AI can study a patient's genetic makeup and medical history in seconds and recommend the best treatment plan.""However, there are also potential negative impacts of advanced AI that must be considered. If AI becomes smarter than humans, it could be difficult or impossible for us to control it. A superintelligent AI system that gets out of control could be a huge threat to humanity. AI weapons and cybersecurity attacks are another big concern.""AI may also cause many job losses as it automates more and more tasks currently done by humans. Self-driving cars could eliminate truck drivers and taxi drivers. AI traders and analysts could replace humans in finance. At companies, AI assistants may do administrative jobs better than humans. There's a risk of large workforce disruptions as AI advances.""In conclusion, artificial intelligence will likely have big impacts, both positive and negative, on our future world. The keyis to develop AI safely and responsibly, addressing the risks, so that the positive impacts can be maximized for the benefit of humanity. Governments, companies, and scientists must be very careful as we create superintelligent AI systems that could one day surpass human-level intelligence. But if developed properly, AI has immense potential to help solve global problems."Whew, that was a long essay! I tried to discuss some of the main potential benefits of AI like solving problems in medicine, science, and transportation. But I also covered the risks like AI getting out of control, cybersecurity threats, and job losses. I think I made some pretty good points for an elementary student, don't you think?Anyway, that's my take on the CET-4 writing section from last year. The letter wasn't too bad but that AI essay was really hard! Hopefully this gives you an idea of what to expect. Just practice writing a ton and you'll do great. Let me know if you have any other questions!篇6The 2023 College English Test Band 4 in December Was Really Hard!Hi! My name is Lily and I'm a 5th grader. Today I want to tell you all about the writing part of the big English test that happened in December 2023 called the College English Test Band 4. It was super difficult but I'll do my best to explain it!The writing section had two parts. The first part asked you to write a letter. The question went like this:"You have just come back from a trip to Thailand during the winter vacation. Write a letter to your English pen pal telling him/her about your experience in Thailand. You should write at least 150 words."So we had to pretend we went to Thailand and then write a letter describing the trip to a friend. Here's kind of what I wrote (but a lot shorter because I don't have 150 words!):Dear Jessica,I just came back from an amazing trip to Thailand! We went during the winter vacation. Thailand is a country in Asia and it was really hot there, even though it was winter. We saw so many cool things. We went to temples with golden Buddhas and pretty gardens. We rode elephants through the jungle which was scary but fun! We also went to beautiful beaches and swam in the warm ocean. The food in Thailand was delicious but very spicy. We ate lots of noodles, curries, and fresh fruit. Everything was so yummy!I had the best time in Thailand. You should go there one day too! It's an awesome country.Your friend,LilyThat's just a short example but you get the idea! We had to describe our fake trip in a friendly letter format. The second writing task was an essay, and boy was it hard! The question said:"With the development of computer and Internet technologies, an increasing number of people are now working from home. What are the advantages and disadvantages of working from home? Give your opinion and relevant examples."So we had to write a whole essay discussing the pros and cons of working from home, and give examples to support our points. Since it was so hard, I'll share the outline I made before writing my essay:Intro paragraph:Sentence 1: More and more people work from home these days because of technologySentence 2: There are good things and bad things about working from homeThesis: Overall, I think the advantages outweigh the disadvantagesBody paragraph 1: Advantages of working from homeNo commute/can save money & timeCan wear comfortable clothes at homeMore flexibility with scheduleExamples: parents can take care of kids, people can run errandsBody paragraph 2: Disadvantages of working from homeCan be distracting at home (TV, chores, family)Miss social interaction from officeMay work more hours than normalExample: someone who procrastinates a lot may get less doneConclusion paragraph:Restate thesis: While there are some negatives, I believe advantages outweigh disadvantagesThe flexibility and time savings make it very beneficial for many peopleAnd then I had to write a 5 paragraph essay following that outline, using lots of good vocabulary and grammar. It was super hard to write a long essay all in English!Well, that's about all the details I can remember from the writing part of the big test. It was definitely extremely challenging, especially the essay part. But I practiced a lot so hopefully I did okay! Keeping my fingers crossed for a good score. Thanks for reading about my experience!。

1.2021年12⽉⼤学英语四级作⽂范⽂ There are many theories about the beginning ofdrama in ancient Greece. The on most widelyaccepted today is based on the assumption thatdrama evolved from ritual. The argument for thisview goes as follows. In the beginning, human beingsviewed the natural forces of the world-even theseasonal changes-as unpredictable, and theysought through various means to control theseunknown and feared powers. Those measureswhich appeared to bring the desired results werethen retained and repeated until they hardened into fixed rituals. Eventually stories arose which explained or veiled the mysteries of the rites. As time passedsome rituals were abandoned, but the stories, later called myths, persisted and providedmaterial for art and drama. Those who believe that drama evolved out of ritual also argue thatthose rites contained the seed of theater because music, dance, masks, and costumes werealmost always used, Furthermore, a suitable site had to be provided for performances andwhen the entire community did not participate, a clear division was usually made between the"acting area" and the "auditorium." In addition, there were performers, and, sinceconsiderable importance was attached to avoiding mistakes in the enactment ofrites, religious leaders usually assumed that task. Wearing masks and costumes, they oftenimpersonated other people, animals, or supernatural beings, and mimed the desired effect-success in hunt or battle, the coming rain, the revival of the Sun-as an actor might. Eventuallysuch dramatic representations were separated from religious activities. Another theory traces the theater's origin from the human interest in storytelling. Accordingto this vies tales (about the hunt, war, or other feats) are gradually elaborated, at first throughthe use of impersonation, action, and dialogue by a narrator and then through theassumption of each of the roles by a different person. A closely related theory traces theaterto those dances that are primarily rhythmical and gymnastic or that are imitations of animalmovements and sounds.2.2021年12⽉⼤学英语四级作⽂范⽂ Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a composition on the topic of Academic Plagiarism following the outline given below in Chinese. Stated-owned business or Joint ventureUpon graduation, virtually all college students will confront the problem of the career choice, which is truly a tough choice. Students' opinions differ greatly on this issue. Some hold that there is no better way to get a decent job than working in a stated-owned business which will guarantee my life after retirement, but others take the attitude that a joint venture outweighs any other jobs as it may provide higher e for employees. As to myself, I prefer the latter view. A joint venture, especially a high-salary joint venture, exerts a tremendous fascination on a great number ofpeople, with no exception to me. Although it might be impossible to make sure my retirement pension is good enough, high-salary is exactly what I need just now. In my view, our career choices largely depend on where we want to stay for the rest of life. For me, metropolis is the place where I can grasp loads of opportunities and achieve my personal dreams. As I hold the view that live in the moment, not the future, and also in order to finance myself in some aspects such as the transportation, the house-renting, or social activities, a joint venture can satisfy my needs for the consumption I mentioned above. In short, a joint venture is the first and only consideration in my choice of career.12月四级作文卷二:工作or考研篇二作文题目:For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay. A higher educational background exerts a tremendous fascination on a great number of people, with no exception to me. This phenomenon that the graduates have difficulties in finding job after their graduation can easily be found anywhere in our daily life, especially on campus. On the one hand, with the improved high education of Chinese college students which directly brought the result that there are more and more graduates every year. On the contrary, job vacancies don’t increase that fast. More people, less food, which is the exact description of the hard condition. On the other hand, more and more people go on to pursue their master and doctor degree; more and more Chinese oversea students e back to China to hunt better working chances. That is the secret of success in the future employment market after our graduation.12月四级作文卷一题目:就业or创业篇三作文题目:For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay. Over the years, there have been many successful cases of student entrepreneurship and such attempts should be encouraged and promoted by both the universities and the society at large. What’s more ,College students who start businesses are pioneers, among whom will be born China’s future business leaders. Faced with unknown challenges, they are audacious enough to embark on a perilous journey while most of their peers enjoy stable salaries by working as white-collars at high-end office buildings. All in all, the essential difference between the students who find a job or those students who create their own businesses is that the former are docile followers whereas the latter are aggressive trailblazers. For this reason,business-launching college graduates are more admirable, and thus they mand our deep respect.。

She has been really stressed out lately because she has to take this huge test called the College English Test Band 4. I thought it would be fun to take a look at the essay question and topic myself and share my thoughts! Here's the essay prompt:"In today's world, technology plays an increasingly important role in education. Some people believe that technology can never replace traditional classroom teaching, while others argue that it enhances and improves the learningexperience. What is your opinion? Use specific reasons and examples to support your stance."Wow, that's a really grown-up sounding topic! But I'll do my best to break it down. The main question is whether technology is good or bad when it comes to learning in schools. On one side, some people think that human teachers are always going to be better than computers or online lessons. Having a real person there to teach you, answer questions, and make sure you understand is super important. But on the other hand, other people think that using technology like computers, tablets, education apps and websites can actually make learning easier and more fun. Technology allows you to learn through videos, games, virtual reality and all sorts of cool interactive stuff. It also gives students more freedom to learn at their own pace.Personally, I'm kind of torn on this issue. I really love my teachers at school and I wouldn't want to replace them with just learning from a computer. They're so kind, patient and they make lessons interesting and easy to follow. And when I get stuck, they can quickly help me understand in a way that makes sense. But at the same time, I do find technology to be really engaging and exciting for learning. My favorite subject is science, and we sometimes get to go into the computer lab and use amazing software that lets us explore the human body, build virtual robots, or see how an earthquake happens through simulations. It's like the topic comes to life right in front of me!We also have access to tons of videos, games and websites that reinforce what we're learning through fun and interactive ways. Like when we were studying mammals, we got to play this cool video game about caring for virtual pets. Or when learning about the solar system, we built our own planetarium app that we could navigate through on the classroom tablets. Super awesome!I think for difficult concepts, having a teacher is probably best because you can ask questions and get instant feedback. But for reviewing things you've already learned or exploring new topics in an interactive way, instructional technology can be an amazing tool. It's motivating, stimulating and feels more like play than work sometimes. So in my opinion, the best solution is to have BOTH great teachers and great technology. Teachers can provide the core lessons, explanations and guidance. But then educationaltechnology can supplement that learning through immersive, exploratory and multimedia resources. By combining the two, you get the benefits of having an expert instructor while also getting to experience topics in a super engaging way thanks to things like video, animations, simulations, games and more. That's just how I see it as a 5th grader though! The adults taking the College English Test will probably have more profound and philosophical answers. But I hope I was able to offer a unique kid's perspective on this very grown-up essay topic. Writing this has definitely made me more interested to follow how my sister Jessica does on her exam. I'll let you know if she passes or not!Well, that's all for now. Thanks for reading my essay analysis. I'm off to go practice my times tables...or maybe I'll just play that new math game app instead! BYE!篇2The Big Test for Grown-Up StudentsHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm going to tell you all about a really big test that happened in December last year. It was called the College English Test Band 4, which is a super important English exam for university students in China. Lots ofschools like New Oriental help students get ready for this massive test. The writing section is the part I'll talk about today. It's where the students have to write a whole essay all by themselves! Can you imagine having to write that much without any help? I can't even write a whole page without my mom assisting me. These college kids must be really smart. From what I heard, the essay questions were pretty tricky this time around. One of the prompts asked students to discuss the pros and cons of working from home versus going into an office. With more people working remotely these days because of that Covid thingy, I bet lots of students had opinions on that topic!Another prompt wanted the test takers to analyze the role of social media in modern society. We've all heard how apps like TikTok and Instagram can be really bad for kids' self-esteem. But I suppose social media also allows people to connect with others globally. It's probably a very complex issue to write about.I overheard my teenage cousin complaining that one of the prompts was about environmental conservation and sustainable living practices. That sounds like one of those subjects that grown-ups are always nagging kids about - like recycling, reducing plastic usage, and turning off lights when you leave a room. I'd hate to have to write a long essay on such a boring topic! From the sound of things, the writing tasks covered a diverse range of contemporary issues relevant to young adults. The test graders definitely didn't go easy on the students. They expected a high level of English proficiency, critical thinking skills, and ability to construct a logical, well-structured argument. My mom says these high-stakes English tests are extremely stressful for Chinese university students. Their performance can significantly impact their future job prospects and higher education opportunities. No wonder so many of them sign up for cram schools and tutoring programs to get ready. From the practice materials I saw, the writing instruction at places like New Oriental seems really intense and rigorous.Even though I'm just a 3rd grader, I can understand why universities use exams like this one. They need to make sure their students have the English skills to succeed in today's globalized world. Being able to communicate effectively in English is super crucial, especially for any student hoping to work or study overseas after graduation.Well, that's my simplified take on the December 2023 College English Test writing tasks from New Oriental. Even though I'm just a kid, I tried my best to analyze it from an adult perspective. I certainly don't envy those poor university students who had to write such complex essays under time pressure. Give me a simple book report any day instead!I hope you found my breakdown interesting and easy to understand. If any of you grown-ups out there are curious about the other sections of the test, like listening, reading and translation, let me know. Maybe I'll use my crayons to illustrate those components next! Until then, happy studying everyone!篇3College English Test Essay Analysis from a Kid's ViewHey guys! It's me again, coming at you with the inside scoop on the big college English test essay section from last December.I know, I know, essays are like, super boring. But this one was actually pretty interesting, I promise! So the prompt was all about whether schools should have dress codes or let students wear whatever they want. As a kid, you can probably guess which side I was leaning towards at first! No dress codes sounds like a dream come true - imagine gettingto wear your favorite superhero costume or pajamas to class every day. Awesome, right? But then I started really thinking about it. If there were no rules at all, some kids might take it too far and wear inappropriate things that distract from learning. And having to look at bullies' rude t-shirt messages all day would be no fun. Hmmm...this wasn't as simple as I initially thought. The essay instructions said to discuss both sides before stating your opinion. The examples they gave for supporting dress codes were classic adult arguments - they "promote a professional environment," "increase discipline and focus," yadda yadda yadda. As if! What do adults know about having fun and expressing yourself through fashion? For the opposition though, I came up with way better points. No dress codes mean ultimate freedom to be yourself without judgy teachers yelling at you. You can express your interests, cultural traditions, personal style - all through your outfits. Getting new clothes is exciting, so why suck the joy out of that?Okay, time to choose a side. I decided that moderate dress codes striking a balance were probably the way to go. Forbidding certain inappropriate items is understandable for safety and making sure the classroom stays a chill, welcomingspace. But rigid policies demanding boring, plain uniforms every day? No thank you!In my conclusion, I proposed that schools make dress codes with student input. Have a few general rules like no offensive graphics, no revealing clothing, and make sure students' cultural items are allowed. But then give a fun weekly event like Wacky Wardrobe Wednesday where kids can cut loose with crazyoutfits. That's a dress code I could get behind!Phew, okay, I think I made some solid points in a persuasive way while addressing the other perspective too. You're supposed to do that in a proper essay, I'm told. Hopefully I sprouted a fewins ights in between all my clowning around!Did I accurately analyze the test prompt and construct a coherent, well-rounded response? It's kind of hard for me to judge since I'm, you know, just a kid and all. But I gave it my best shot while still keeping things light and fun. What did you think about my essay? Would you have taken a similar approach or gone in a totally different direction? Let me know your thoughts! Also, I'm probably too young to be needing to stress over college entrance stuff. So I'll be curious to see if the grown-upswho actually took this test felt my analysis was on point or way off base. Keep me posted, you scholarly adults you!Well, that's all I've got for today's literary leture. Thanks for sticking around, and make sure to get your English assignment篇4The December 2023 CET-4 Essay from New OrientalHey guys! It's me again, your favorite elementary school writer. Today I'm going to talk about the College English Test Band 4 essay question from last December. The test was made by those smart people at New Oriental. Get ready, because this is going to be a fun ride! The essay question was: "Many people believe that social media has had a negative impact on personal relationships and face-to-face communication. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view? Give reasons and examples to support your position."Whew, that's a long question! But I'll do my best to break it down for you.First, let's start with social media. We're talking about things like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok - all those apps andwebsites where people share pictures, videos, thoughts, and pretty much their whole lives! Pretty cool, right? Now, the question is asking whether social media has been bad for our personal relationships and face-to-face communication. In other words, has it made it harder for us to really connect with people in person? Some people think social media has hurt our ability to have good relationships and talk to each other face-to-face. Maybe you've noticed some of your friends are always on their phones, even when you're hanging out together! That could make it harder to have a real conversation. But other people might disagree. They could say that social media actually helps us stay connected to our friends and family, especially if they live far away. We can message them, see what they're up to, and share photos and videos of our lives. So what do you think? Has social media been good or bad for our relationships and communication skills? That's whatyou'd need to write about in your essay. To make your essay really strong, you'll want to give lots of reasons and examples to support your opinion. If you think social media has been bad, you could talk about how people seemmore focused on their phones than the people around them. Or how social media can sometimes make people feel left out or excluded. If you think social media has been good, you could give examples of how it's helped you stay in touch with your cousins who live in another country. Or how you used social media to organize a fun party with all your friends. The most important thing is to pick a clear position – do you agree or disagree that social media has been bad for relationships? Then, use lots of details and personal experiences to explain and support your view.Don't forget to have an introduction paragraph that states your main idea, body paragraphs with your reasons and examples, and a conclusion that wraps everything up nicely.Writing essays can be tough, but just take it step-by-step. Brainstorm your ideas, make an outline, write a draft, and then revise and edit until you've got a masterpiece! You've got this.Let me know if you have any other questions! I'm always happy to help my fellow students out. Now go write an awesome essay!篇5The Big Writing Test in English ClassHi friends! I want to tell you all about the big writing test I had to take in my English class at the end of last year. It was called the CET-4 and it was really important for my future studies. My teacher said I needed to do well on it to show I could write good English. I was a little nervous, but I studied really hard. The writing part had two sections - writing a letter and writing an essay. For the letter part, we had to pretend we were writing to a friend about our plans for the upcoming Summer vacation. That was kind of fun because I got to use my imagination and make up an exciting trip I wanted to take! I wrote about wanting to go to the beach and build really big sandcastles. I also said I hoped we could go camping in the mountains and look at the stars at night. Doesn't that sound like an awesome vacation? The essay part was a little trickier. The topic was about whether schools should have uniforms or not. That's a pretty big debate with some good points on both sides. In my essay, I said that I do think school uniforms are a good idea overall. They help students focus on learning instead of worrying about wearing the trendiest clothes. Uniforms also make sure no one is treated differently for not having fancy outfits. However, I canunderstand why some kids might not like uniforms because they don't allow much personal style expression. To make my essay strong, I made sure to have a clear introduction that previewed my main points. Each body paragraph focused on one key reason, with examples to back it up. I tried to acknowledge the other side's view as well before restating my position in the conclusion. Using good transition words to connect my ideas smoothly was important too. When I finished writing, I read over my work very carefully to check for any silly mistakes in grammar, spelling or punctuation. I wanted to make sure all my sentences had a subject and verb and made sense. After working so hard, I didn't want any careless errors!Overall, I felt pretty good about how I did on the writing part of the test. The letter was a chance to be creative and describe things in a fun way. The essay let me show my ability to express a clear opinion and support it logically. As long as I followed the structures we practiced and checkedmy work, I think I gave it my best effort. Now I'll just have to wait patiently to get my score back. Keeping my fingers crossed that I did well enough to make good progress in my English studies! Writing is hard work but beingable to communicate effectively is such an important skill. I'm proud of myself for taking on this big challenge. Let me know if you have taken a test like this too!篇6The December 2023 College English Test Band 4 Essay Was Totally Awesome!Hey guys! I'm super excited to tell you all about the amazing essay question on the December 2023 College English Test Band 4 exam. It was given by New Oriental, which is a really cool company that helps students learn English. The essay question was so much fun! It asked us to write about whether kids should get paid for doing chores around the house. Can you believe that? Getting paid just for cleaning your room or taking out the trash? What a dream!I had so many great ideas for my essay. First, I wrote that kids definitely should get paid for chores because it teaches us about money. If we earn our own dollars and cents, we learn how to save up and spend responsibly. Mom and dad are always saying I need to be more careful with my allowance instead of blowing it all on comic books and candy. Well, if I earned mymoney doing chores, you can bet I would spend it way more wisely!I also wrote that getting paid motivates kids to do their chores without our parents nagging us all the time. I hate when mom gets upset that I left my toys all over the living room again. But if I knew I could earn a few bucks by cleaning up after myself, I'd be way more likely to do it without her having to remind me a million times. Parents sure would appreciate that!Another reason I gave was that doing chores helps teach important life skills. What am I going to do when I'm an adult and have my own place? I'll need to know how to clean, do laundry, cook meals, and all that grown-up stuff. If I get paid for chores as practice now, I'll be totally prepared instead of being a slob when I move out. Thanks mom and dad!But I also had to look at the other side for a balanced essay. One argument I made against paid chores is that kids should just help out around the house because we're part of the family, no money needed. It's not like we pay rent or anything, so doing a few simple tasks is just our way of pitching in. We all have to learn responsibility somehow.I additionally wrote that getting paid could make chores feel like real work, which isn't fun for kids. Aren't we supposed to beplaying and having a good time while we're still young? Turning housework into a job might take away the magic of childhood. We have our whole adult lives to work for money! Finally, I mentioned that paying kids for chores could lead to fighting between siblings over who gets paid more based on the difficulty of their assigned tasks. Can you imagine how crazy my house would be if my little brother and I constantly argued over why his 25 cents for loading the dishwasher was less than my 50 cents for vacuuming? What a nightmare! Better to avoid that drama altogether. After discussing those main points for and against, I concluded my essay by saying I was leaning towards thinking paid chores are a good idea overall. Even though there are some drawbacks, I think the benefits like learning money management, feeling motivated, and preparing for adult responsibilities are more important. As long as parents are smart about how much to pay and for which tasks, it could be a really valuable system.Phew, that was one epic essay to write! I tried to include lots of details and examples to fully explain my thoughts. Using some funny jokes here and there helped make it more entertaining too.I just hope my level of English was good enough! The best part about the College English Test is that it lets us get creative and really showcase our personalities in the writing section. I've never understood why some people stress out so much about it. We're just kids after all! As long as you practice a little and have some fun with it, you'll do great.Well, that's my full report on this super cool essay topic. Writing about paid chores for the December 2023 College English Test Band 4 from New Oriental was a total blast! I really hope I get a good score because I worked extremely hard. Keeping my fingers crossed! If you guys have any other questions about the exam or my experience, just let me know. I'm always happy to discuss anything English related. In fact, my reading comprehension score was through the roof this time thanks to all the awesome books I've been devouring lately. Maybe I'll tell you about those next! Thanks for reading my wholehearted analysis. Isn't the College English Test just the raddest? Okay, gotta go play some video games now. Catch you later, dudes!。

Which kind of friend wouldyou choose-different or similar?写作范文:Choose a Friend Who Is Different From YouThis would be a very boring world if we were all exactly the same. Our differences are what make us exciting and interesting. Personally, I prefer different friends since you can enjoy a variety of interests and you can also learn from each other.Firstly, the most obvious and undisputed advantage of having a different friend is that you can enjoy more kinds of amusement. Admittedly, if your friends and you have the same interest in something, you can share with each other and that will be anenjoyable time for you. However, it will be more interesting if you can persuade your friends to enjoy your interests that he or she has never ever tried before, Secondly, a different friend means the opportunity to learn from each other. Given that each person can be good at different things, you can expand your scope of knowledge bymaking different friends. For instance, a friend of mine was very good at mathematics and I was quite good at literature, So we always learn together. She made some complex arithmetical problems clearer and I explained to her how to write an essay better. This greatly contributed to our gradual progress in school. We generally credited the progress to our differences. In conclusion, if a person makes friends different from him, he gets chances to be mixed with different people and benefits from the contact with them. Therefore, I prefer to make friends with people with different personalities and interests. (248 words)2.2021年12月英语四级作文高分范文写作题目:宠物Keeping pets has seemed to be in vogue for the last few years. Some people say that owners of pets only have them because they are a status symbol while others say that keeping a pet encourages people to know, care about and show love to animals. Which view do you agree with?高分范文:Keeping a Pet Is Good for YouAnyone who has ever loved a pet knows how much joy that relationship can bring. There is increasing scientific evidence that the unique bond we share with our pets dramatically enriches our lives, and improves our physical health and emotional well-being. Personally I hold that keeping a pet yields more benefits than drawbacks.Firstly, keeping a pet contributes to our general health andwell-being. Loving and caring for a pet can help anyone fight depression and loneliness, since the bond with a pet helps you maintain a sense of purpose in life. A daily walk with a dog gets you out into the world on a regular basis and encourages exercise, both of which help counteract feelings of depression. Pets can be a great comfort in times of conflict or grief, since they offer unconditional affections. They often seem to know when we are sad, and they are always attentive, nonjudgemental listeners. Therefore, by reducing our stress, relieving our loneliness and depression, pets can help us prevent heart disease and improve our general well-being. Secondly, keeping a pet can teach children a sense of empathy and responsibility. Taking care of a pet encourages children to care for animals and nurture responsibilities over them. Being praised as ameans of aiding the personality development of children, pet-keeping is essential for children's health development. In conclusion, having a pet contributes towards a person's well-being and promotes a sense of responsibility and caring towards animals among children. In your opinion, which is more important-experience or books?写作范文:The Importance of ExperienceShould experience be credited with more importance than books as some people claim? Or do books still play a pivotal role in the learning process? Given my personal experience, I agree with the former.Admittedly, students can learn all the necessary principles or theorems through textbooks. And a high-quality book should contain the essence of a certain subject, The importance of books iscorroborated by the fact that almost all learning institutions employ textbooks to disseminate knowledge. Nonetheless, one should not belittle the significance of hands-on experience. In some circumstances, experience may count more than books and this trend is gradually gaining ascendancy. It makes sense that employers expect their prospective staff a to acquire some experience so that they do not have to learn from scratch. In addition, it is true to assertthat there are a myriad of things which cannot be learned simply by reading a book, The underpinning goal of any education is to impart knowledge and to cultivate the ability to apply the knowledge to a real-life situation. Principles learned from books amount to almost nothing if students cannot use them to solve problems they encounter in their jobs. Finally, it is undeniable that books are a useful device in terms of conveying knowledge; however, the importance of experience should not be underrated either. On balance, I believe that books and experience actually complement each other: knowledge learn.ed through books will be effectively reinforced by the accumulation of experience. A host of students poured their passion into the event and almost everyone considered it as a meaningful way to access to knowledge, based on the actual situation yesterday. Our university student union had made some arrangements for the project. From my perspective, the following two purposes can interpret this activity. To begin with, this kind of activity would cut down expenses of students, cultivating the awareness of saving. In the mean time, collecting used books can decrease the recycling and reprinting of books, and it is also benefit for the protection of environment. Anyone in the school who was curious about the project registered their names on the list and brought their books to student union’s office, Roo m 115, E Building last Friday. The collected books have been displayed in the library. 1.2021年12月英语四级作文高分范文写作题目:朋友Some people choose friends who are different from them, Others choose friends who are similar to them. Which kind of friend would you choose-different or similar?写作范文:Choose a Friend Who Is Different From YouThis would be a very boring world if we were all exactly the same. Our differences are what make us exciting and interesting. Personally, I prefer different friends since you can enjoy a variety of interests and you can also learn from each other.Firstly, the most obvious and undisputed advantage of having a different friend is that you can enjoy more kinds of amusement. Admittedly, if your friends and you have the same interest in something, you can share with each other and that will be an enjoyable time for you. However, it will be more interesting if you can persuade your friends to enjoy your interests that he or she has never ever tried before, Secondly, a different friend means the opportunity to learn from each other. Given that each person can be good at different things, you can expand your scope of knowledge by making different friends. For instance, a friend of mine was very good at mathematics and I was quite good at literature, So we always learn together. She made some complex arithmetical problems clearer and I explained to her how to write an essay better. This greatly contributed to our gradual progress in school. We generally credited the progress to our differences. In conclusion, if a person makes friends different from him, he gets chances to be mixed with different people and benefitsfrom the contact with them. Personally I hold that keeping a pet yields more benefits than drawbacks.Firstly, keeping a pet contributes to our general health and well-being. Taking care of a pet encourages children to care for animals and nurtureresponsibilities over them. Being praised as a means of aiding the personality development of children, pet-keeping is essential for children's health development. In conclusion, having a pet contributes towards a person's well-being and promotes a sense of responsibility and caring towards animals among children. (245 words)3.2021年12月英语四级作文高分范文写作题目:经验还是书本知识?It has been said that "Not everything that is learned is contained in books." Some people think that experience teaches more than books. And a high-quality book should contain the essence of a certain subject, The importance of books is corroborated by the fact that almost all learning institutions employ textbooks to disseminate knowledge. Nonetheless, one should not belittle the significance of hands-on experience. In some circumstances, experience may count more than books and this trend is gradually gaining ascendancy. It makes sense that employers expect their prospective staff a to acquire some experience so that they do not have to learn from scratch. In addition, it is true to assert that there are a myriad of things which cannot be learned simply by reading a book, The underpinning goal of any education is to impart knowledge and to cultivate theability to apply the knowledge to a real-life situation. 12月英语四级作文及解析【优秀3篇】12月英语四级作文及解析篇一题目For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay menting on the saying “Listening is more important than talking.” You can cite examples to illustrate the importance of listening. You should write at least 120 words, no more than 180 words.范文As the most evolved creature in this planet,we human beings are in possession of two kinds of most powerful capability, which are listening and talking. Compared with talking, more often than not, the significance of listening is way ahead in our life. The most typical example of the importance of talking lies in the exchange among family members. When we are accustomed to talking without listening, in the process of which wemight only focus on ourselves, feeling of others are ignored and even hurt. Without listening, the essential passport towards mutualunderstanding, the relation among our family members may bit by bit go alienated. Besides, listening can also promote the efficiency of teamwork and efficiency is of the utmost consequence in such a fast-tempo society.Talking is a window through which we convey ourselves ,while listening is a door via which we understand each. A life without mutual listening is just like a house without a door. Careful listening ,as at least it seems to me ,is a necessity but not a luxury in our daily life as well as in our work 。

12月大学英语四级满分作文12月大学英语四级满分作文范文【作文题目】:Intelligence-Nature or Nurture1) 有人认为智力是天生的;2) 也有人认为智力是环境决定的;3) 如何更好地发展智力。

【参考范文】:Are some people born clever, and others born stupid Or is intelligence developed by our environment or experience Strangely enough, the answer to both questions is yes。

On the one hand, if we take two people at random from the crowd, it is very likely that their degrees of intelligence will be completely different. However, if we take two identical twins, chances are that they will be as intelligent as each other. Therefore, a conclusion can be drawn that intelligence is to some extent something we are born with. The closer the blood relationship between two people, the closer they are likely to be in intelligence。

On the other hand, though, if we put two identical twins in different environments, for example, we might send one to university and the other to a factory where the work is boring, we would find differences in their intelligence several years later, which indicates that environment does play a crucial role in our intelligence。

Libraries Become Useless at the Age of Information Nowadays, people are divided on the question whether traditional libraries become useless at the age of information. The perspective of each side is listed as follows: Some people claim that people do not need traditional libraries any more at the age of information. Because the Internet contains almost all information we try to find, and the digital libraries could meet everybody’s demand. However, others content that traditional libraries should be a required place where people search for knowledge. Because the traditional libraries provide an ideal atmosphere under which people could concentrate on reading. And paper books are better choices to some people.
For my part, the traditional libraries are the same importance as the digital libraries. People could choose different ways to search for information based on their own habit if the traditional libraries and the digital libraries co-exist.。
