Children should not play computer

Children should not play computer.(题目忘了,大概是这个)Thesis statement: I agreesp1: Admittedly, 1. make children relaxed2. some developmental games improve children's intelligencesp2: However, 1. affect children's eyesight2. can't concentrate on studying3. maybe consume children with money to play computer gamesNowadays, some adolescents are addicted to illusory world causes they forget something about actual world, for they play computer games when they were children. It's suggested that children shouldn't spend much time on playing computer games.I agree with it because playing computer is harmful for our health. The eyesight of children can be influenced by computer's radiation if they spend for a long time. In fact, computers and other electrical equipments discharge radiation which is kind of electromagnetic wave and may affect children's eyesight even health. It means that the closer distance between computers and children, the more pains children will take. Moreover, children is curious about everything and they like watching computer's monitors in a close distance. Lee Bartholomew, afamous medical scientist, has had an investigation and found that there are 34.6% elementary students wear spectacles because of playing computer games. How terrible the result is. Thus, completely eradicating computer games can reduce the harm of eyesight.Children who play computer games can't concentrate on studying. When children have classes or do their homework, because of playing computers, they usually think of games unconsciously and have low efficiency on their work. Take my cousin for a instance,he has been a good student in the past, he did his homework rapidly and do extracurricular activities or read books after completing learning task. However, since he play computer games and he is addicted in this and he doesn't finish homework any more and become a bad student. On the other hand, if children spare time to do other things without playing computer games, such as reading books, making a conversation with teachers, they will have benefit from those things. Therefore, computer games can affect children's attention to study.Admittedly, computer games can make children more relaxed if they spend little time on it. And some developmental games improve children's intelligence. however, according to the analysis above, these fact can not justify that computer is good for children. The advantages of playing computer games are more than the advantages. To sum up, even through the computer are useful for our lives, inorder to study more hard, so children should reduce computer games.。

托福高分范文:不应该允许孩子们玩电脑游戏吗?

托福高分范文:不应该允许孩子们玩电脑游戏吗?托福写作题目:Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Playing computergames is a waste of time. Children should not be allowed to do so.优秀范文:Unlike older generation, children today become familiar with computers at a very early age. Tactfully-designed computer games are extremely popular among the young. Supported by digital technology and multimedia, such games are leading children into a magical wonderland. Many parents complain that playing computer games is totally a waste of time and so never allow their children to use them. As far as I am concerned, not all computer games are harmful.Admittedly, it is not advisable for children to be overly obsessed with computer games. Most computer games boast a large number of elements that are dramatically appealing to the hearts of children. True-to-life visual and sound effects combined with smartly-designed plots and fascinating game modes allow participants to vividly experience the magical power of the electronic world. Owing to these superior characteristics, most computer games are able to tie an addicted youngster to the chair before thecomputer screen for a long time. Without doubt, it will not only do harm to a child's health and schoolwork, but also waste much valuable time that could be spent engaging in more meaningful activities. Concrete evidence can be seen in many families nowadays. The sevenyear-old son of my cousin used to be so addicted to computer games that he would consume half of his weekend in front of the computer. As time went by, he became nearsighted and his studies were also negatively affected. As soon as his parents realized the potentialthreat of computer games, they had to set strict rules that prohibit their child from playing themtoo often. However, in spite of the side effects computer games bring to children, there are also some positive qualities hidden in them that could possibly be beneficial. To illustrate, some puzzle games are designed to train a person's logical thinking and urge him to use his wits. Children are at an age of mental development. Using such games may be a good approach to exercise the brain. With this in mind, parents could allow their children to spend some time solving interesting puzzles on the computer. Inaddition, some educational computer games familiarize children with practical skills or useful knowledge. A popular game named RichMan, for example, guides players to plan and arrange incomes and investments intelligently. Young children can obtain a primary understanding of what financial transactions mean.As a matter of fact, it is the responsibility of parents to manage and control the time their children spend playing computer games and help themselect the most suitable types of games. In most cases, children are too young to have enough awareness of time. They are also unable to distinguish between good and bad. With the support and guidance from their parents, children are likely to benefit much fromusing computer games. Therefore, even though being addicted to computer games does harm to children's health and interrupts their schoolwork, there is no need to label this form of leisure activity totally meaningless. Through some computer games, children can be offered an opportunity to exercise their brains and train themselves to become smarter and more capable. As long as they are under the guidance andsupervision of parents, children should be allowed to play some computer games.中文翻译:与长辈们不同,现在的孩子们在很小的时候就对电脑很熟悉了。

Computer games 孩子玩电脑游戏的缺点 英语作文

Computer games 孩子玩电脑游戏的缺点 英语作文

Nowadays many people have access to computers on a wide basis and a large number of children play computer games.Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge. Write at least 250 words.Model Answer:People use computers more extensively these days than ever before, and it is so widespread in our modern world that even children have access to these devices for playing games. This essay discusses the disadvantages of playing digital games on computer devices byyoungsters and suggests some measures to reduce its negative effects. Concerning the adverse impacts of young children playing video games, the most devastating one is the addiction these games create. Millions of dollars are spent to make computer games so that they attract a large number of audiences and keep them glued to the computer screens. So they are addictive by design. And this obsession hampers children's outdoor activities, studies and even time to socialise and learn important life skills. To illustrate, many research works suggest that children who spend many hours playing computer games each day end up performing poorly in schools and avoid social events and outdoor activities. It results in physical and psychological issues including poor eyesight and despair. Moreover, violent games cloud the youngsters' judgement and make their rational thinking unstable. Oftentimes, youngsters who play violent games develop violent behaviours. To cite an example, an unfortunate shooting event that claimed many innocent lives took place inan American school a few years ago was carried out by a teenager who was addicted to shooting games. To minimise the severity of these negative impacts, parents must monitor what their children are doing, especially on computers. They should not be allowed to play computer games for more than a couple of hours each week, and parents can actively participate in those games with their children so that it becomes family time. An ideal example of it could be my aunt and uncle who play video games with their children and as a result, children are also interested in doing outdoor activities with them. Finally, parents can use parental control over the digital content and games their children watch or play. These measures would deter children from downloading and playing games that are not suitable for their age.To conclude, computer games, when played excessively by children, have many detrimental effects. Proper parenting and monitoring seem like the best solution to solve these problems.。

I have visited a place many times but I may still get lost there the next time. When I was a little girl, I never dared to ask strangers the way. And so I used to walk around in circles and hope that by chance I would get to the place I was going to.Now, I am no longer too shy to ask people for directions, but I often receive helpless or even wrong information. However, I had no time to turn back and look for him. Computer games 孩子们花大量时间玩电脑游戏的利弊 英语作文

Computer games 孩子们花大量时间玩电脑游戏的利弊 英语作文

These days, children tend to spend a great deal of time playing computer games. Some believe this is a beneficial trend while others think it is detrimental.Write about the following topic:Which viewpoint do you agree with?Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. You should write at least 250words.Sample Essay:Nowadays, many children spend a considerable amount of their time by playing computer games. While most of the people, especially parents, think that this is a waste of valuable time and this time should be utilised for learning academic lessons or taking part in outdoor activities, very few think playing computer games is helpful for children’s cogniti ve development. I firmly believe that children should play computer games particularly brain games and strategy games but a balance should be maintained so that it does not become an addiction. In the highlydeveloped technological modern world, it is important for children to play computer games. Firstly, by doing this they can learn how to use computers and become familiar with new technology. Moreover, children communicate to each other at school during the break and often discuss different strategies of some particular computer game. Not only they develop their skills and knowledge such as 3D vision, imagination, and fantasy by playing those, but also computer game is the new modern way of leisure activity for young people, which help them develop thinking patterns, have friends online and build an online world. Many computergames are great learning resources and therefore parents and teacher should supervise what type of games a child play and how much time they spend on that. On the other hand, spending too much time on computer games might be dangerous for children. For example, some children may not do their homework because they become addicted to computer games and play those most of the time. Also, children have less face-to-face communication with their friends and families as they are busy with games. Furthermore, some of youngest might even become aggressive as computer games expose them to violence and fighting. Therefore, the assistance from adults is needed to help children to keep a balance between computer games and other compulsory deals. Spending too much time can be detrimental to the children’s health, especially for their eyes. To conclude, a balance is required to ensure children are not playing computer games too much and spending a lot of time in front of computers may lead to disadvantages in other arrears of life such as social communications. However, playing computer games for learning and exploring new ideas can be a very effective way to enhance knowledge and imagination for children.Written by - Natalia Svetlova。

Should children be prohibited from playing computer games?
(Ever since the first computer was invented, computers have been used to simplify our work by storing information and data. With time gone by, the function of computer has been diversified from work to personal entertainment. Up till now, computers become household necessity and children are believed to have an earlier expose than ever before, which are arose the concerns of educator and parents. From where I stand, this concern seems necessary.)
Admittedly, playing computer games may open up children’s creation, inspiring them to think, create, and apply. Nevertheless it is one-sided practicing this ability in the computer games. In fact, it is more efficient and all-sided to use the wasted time which you spend on computer games to study, which can still develop your creation on knowledge aspect rather than just try to build a useless house in a theoretical world which everything inside is block, and it is also better for your eyes to read a few hours study material and have a little break rather than waste your time on computer games without any limit for a whole day.
(One aspect needed to be taken into consideration is how playing computer games actually exerts a negative influence on study. As we know, within a day, children will spend the majority of time on sleeping, study, and eating. Computer games will reduce other part of time. Take my neighbor’s children as an example. He used to be a good student until he start to play computer games, since that he is addicted to it. He stays up late or even does not go to sleep all day long. His biological clock has been completely disorder. Recently, I meet him in the school. He does not want to study at all, all of things he thinks are computer games. So the computer games can ruin your life.
Other aspect also needs us to feel anxious is the eyesight issue. Eyesight issue becomes one of the most worried questions that parents have. For most of parents, they want their children have normal healthy eyesight which will not become a burden of their daily life. According to a study of Yale, the computer will emit a kind of gamma radio wave which will hurt children’s brittle immature eyes’ retina and make they have nearsightedness, even contribute to the blind if they keep watching it for a long time. Children, as a group in society which is lack of self management, will play computer games all day long if they are allowed, because the computer games is so attractive that children cannot control themselves to refute to play it. As a result, many children wear glasses in very young age now, which they have a very inconvenient period of time in their life.。
