Taboos
Taboo ,
is that something
not allowed !!!
Color represents feelings ,countri es ,cultures and color symbolism (象征).
In color, many Western countries are different. However,
they have that black as a funeral.
In addition, in France, they dislikeБайду номын сангаасthe spade, that the spade
is the symbol of the dead ;
Purple flowers are the flowers of death in Mexico .
And when the 13th day
of the month falls on Friday ,anyone wishing to avoid a misfortunate
event had better stay indoors.
In British , when you making gestures like “v”, be sure not make your centre of the palm face to you ,because this gesture is regarded as insult
The westerns see the even number as the symbol of misfortune, but the odd ones as a good luck of symbol (except 13, of course).
Like how 4 is unlucky to us, in some cultures it is 13 or 3 , so you don't want to give things in that number!!!
Among Latin Americans, the gift of a knife or knives suggests the
“cutting” of a relationship.
With the help of understanding “taboo” we can get closer to taboos and avoid embarrasses and unhappy when we chat with foreigners.
Remember that offensive at a person can be highly in some cultures .
