Unit1 My First Day at Senior High 说课稿
一.教材分析
My First Day at Senior High是外研社出版的高中英语教材中，高一课程的第一个单元。
这是一个基础单元，是学生有初中过渡都高中，学习英语的第一个单元。
此单元不仅旨在让学生学到知识，并且要引起学生学习英语的兴趣，为整个高中英语教学，打下第一步的基础。
而阅读能力一直都是学生必备的英语能力之一，因此这个单元的阅读课是相当基础，也是重要的。
文中介绍一位高中新生第一天到校观察和接触到的人和事物以及个人的感受，内容紧密结合学生的现实生活，能充分激发学生兴趣，引起共鸣。
二．教学目标
1.知识目标
掌握文中出现的固定搭配，短语和习惯用法

通过对文章的阅读和理解，了解并掌握一些阅读技巧，如skimming，scanning.
3.情感目标
通过pair works，group discuss等方式，培养学生独立思考，团结互助的精神，同时也培养学生的语言表达能力，逐步使他们能自信地，勇敢地在同学（大众面前）表达自己的感想和意见。
三．教学重、难点
重点：对文章主旨大意的理解，对文中规定搭配，习惯用语，描写感受的词汇的掌握。
难点：对阅快速阅读，略读，跳读等读技巧的掌握。
四．教学方法
任务型教学，讨论法（学生充分参与其中，充分发挥主观能动性，激发学习兴趣）五．教学流程
1.首先对上节课的部分内容（单词）进行复习，这是对所学内容的强化和巩固。
2.讨论环节。
学生进行pair work, 将自己的初中和高中进行对比，同时谈谈自己对高中的看法和自己进入高中第一天的感受。
此过程在于通过学生自由表达的方式，引起学生学习兴趣，并为My First Day at Senior High的阅读做好铺垫。
3.生单词讲解。
让学生先通过独立思考完成单词和意义的配对，然后再加以讲解。
旨在阅读前扫清词汇障碍。
4．阅读。
对文章进行三次阅读。
首先进行快速阅读，抓文章的主要信息，通过练习题（选择文章的主旨大意）来了解文章主要内容。
接着，对文章进行再次阅读，采用跳读的方法获取主要信息，完成练习。
最后一次阅读，自习阅读，完成练习，对文章的细节进行理解。
阅读能力的培养是一个漫长的过程，重要的是在阅读课中，培养学生的阅读技巧，使学生自爱无教室的指导下，能进行自主阅读。
5. 找出练习中描写感受的词语在文中出现的地方，并将这些词语分类（positive feelings，
negative feelings）。
使学生对描写感受的词有一定了解，理解其意思，并能进行区分。
6．对文中的习惯用法，固定搭配等语法点进行总结，讲解，并总结全文。
让学生对细化的知识进行掌握，对文章有进一步理解。
7．小组讨论。
将文中所述与自身实际相联系，进行比较。
加深学生对课文的理解，同时也对阅读内容进行了复习。
8.课后作业的布置，阅读练习。
使学生对所学阅读技巧进行巩固。
