W (who, when , where, why, what) 和1个H (how)。

Part 1 记叙文的概括(可以通用浙江省的记叙文概括)One day, a mother horse told her son, “My child, will you happily go and carry this bag of wheat to the mill (磨坊) to grind it into flour?”The little horse happily agreed without hesitation, and ran out of the house with a bag of wheat on his back. After quite a long journey, the little horse came to a river, which blocked his path to the mill. He suddenly got confused. Looking around, he saw a cow. So he asked the cow, “Auntie Cow, can you tell me whether I can cross the river?”The cow answered, “Definitely you can. The water is very shallow.”When the little horse was about to cross the river, a squirrel shouted to him, “Little horse, don’t cross the river. You will drown.”The little horse didn’t know what to do, so he decided to go back to ask his mother. After he told his mother everything that happened on his way, his mother said, “My child, it’s not enough to only listen to others; you have to give it a try by yourself, and then you’ll know the answer.”With those words, he walked carefully across the river. The water was neither shallow nor deep. It was just fine for him. Finally the little horse crossed the river and completed his task. South Africa’s Street Store doesn’t just help to clothe the homeless, but also gives them the shopping experience of choosing what they want. With the idea to give the homeless the same dignity as customers who can pay, the Street Store sets up their pop-up cardboard shop in Cape Town, inviting customers in need to browse through the offerings and choose an outfit for themselves from the hundreds of donated items at their will. The Street Store works closely with local council to get permission to pop-up their sidewalk shops in poor areas around Cape Town. Because of the social conditions in South Africa, over half of the children live in poverty, making the Street Store even more popular. The Street Store displays a row of cardboard “hangers”(衣架), with boxes neatly arranged below each one. On the hangers hang shirts,T-shirts, trousers and dresses donated by the Cape Town public. In the boxes below, multiple pairs of shoes await a new owner. Street Store volunteers also act as store consultants, offering fashion advice to their customers as they try on chosen donated items. The Street Store has already reached thousands in the Cape Town area, with over 1,000 satisfied homeless customers visiting on their first day in operation. The program gives the homeless not only a change to pick up some needed clothing, but also restores confidence by giving them a retail experience—even when pocket money doesn’t allow it.。

This incident happened over two decades ago when I was in high school. There was a debate competition in my neighboring school. My friend and I volunteered to participate in the debate. There were many topics to choose from and I chose to speak on AIDS.Even though I had no idea what the competition would be like, I decided to go ahead and prepare for it and I used an article from a magazine as reference. On the day of the event, I practiced my lines but was feeling tensed as there would be a huge audience and the stage fear was chasing me already and truly it caught up with me. I reached the auditorium, and it was huge. The competition began, and I was getting sweaty palms. I was at a loss when the speaker before my turn coincidentally had chosen the same topic as me and also referred the same magazine and reproduced it line by line, leaving me in a daze (恍惚)on what to do next as I just had a couple of minutes with me.Soon enough I was on the stage and I could gather courage and speak for only two minutes. I felt so bad. I had not only let my school down but also myself.I then decided to put in my best efforts and overcome my stage fear and prepare well for the next debate; luckily I did not have to wait long as the next competition wasorganized by my school. This time my topic was against castes in Indian society. I wrote the script with my own efforts and practiced for hours in front of the mirror even though I had learned the script by heart. The day came and this time I was confident about myself; I just went about doing my job and it lasted for five minutes. I had a very satisfied feeling coming from within. When the results were announced, I had come second in the event. I was so happy and all my efforts did not go in vain.[写作指导]•文章大意:作者在经历了第一次比赛失败后没有气馁,鼓足勇气参加第二次比赛,终于战胜了恐惧并取得了很好的成绩,文章旨在告诉我们付出努力终将得到回报。

【精选真题01】(2022·江西重点校联考)For many people, bookstores are wonderful places. That's because the books on the shelves can take you away to magical lands, help you learn a foreign language, or cook a delicious meal. But when your community is too small to house a brick bookstore, you have to come up with another idea. A mobile bookstore was the result. That is the case for Rita Collins,70, who dreamed of opening a used bookstore after retiring from teaching.A business planning class from the American Booksellers Association convinced Collins to give up her idea of opening a bookstore in the small town where she lives. Her town, Eureka, Montana, only has a population of1,517. Collins asked her instructors about a traveling bookstore on wheels and they doubted her idea. But she insisted on it.Collins was inspired by Dylans Mobile Bookstore, a traveling bookstore in Wales run by Jeff Towns. She contacted Jeff for advice but she was largely on her own when it came to building her bookstore. First, she had to find a vehicle large enough to stand in. Then she had to have it refitted with shelves that would hold the books at a15-degree angle so that they would stay in place while traveling. Collins named her bookstore St. Rita's Traveling Bookstore, which has been on the road since 2015.At first, she drove through Montana and then she made her first cross-country trip in 2016. After she retired in2017, it became a full-time job. Collins and her bookstore have visited 30 states, stopping at festivals and events along the way. Collins loves meeting people and making connections. While she loves what she does, Collins doesn't think she can keep doing it. In several years, she hopes to pas her traveling bookstore onto another book lover who shares the same interest and will keep it on the road.24. Why did Collins abandon opening a bookstore?A. It cost a lot of money.B. It was not promising.C. It would be out of date.D. It was not approved.25. Why were the shelves designed at a 15-degree angle?A. To beautify the mobile bookstore.B. To make it easy to move on the road.C. To keep the bookstore's balance.D. To protect the books from falling down.26. Which of the following can best describe Collins?A. 高考英语阅读理解专题复习精品资料故事记叙型(一)Martin was returning to work in his London office after spending two weeks with his brother in New York.He was coming back with a heavy heart.It was not just that it was the end of a wonderful holiday; it was not just that he invariably suffered badly from jet lag; it was that Monday mornings always began with a team meeting and, over the months, he had grown to hate them.Martin was aware that colleagues approached these meetings with hidden agendas; they indulged(纵容) game-playing; and he knew that people were not being honest and open.The meetings themselves were bad enough—there was all the moaning afterwards at the meeting like “I could have improved on that idea, but I wasn’t going to say”.As this morning’s meeting began, Martin prepared himself for the usual dullness and boredom.But, as the meeting progressed, he became aware of a strange background noise.At first, he thought that he was still hearing the engine noise from the aircraft that had brought him back to London.But, as he concentrated on the noise, it became a little clearer.He realized—to his amazement—that he could actually hear what they were thinking at the same time as they were speaking.What surprised him, even more than the acquisition(获得) of this strange power, was that he discovered that what people were saying was not really what they were thinking.They were not making clear their reservations.They were not supporting views which they thought might be unpopular.They were not contributing their new insights.They were not volunteering their new ideas.Martin found it impossible not to respond to his new knowledge.So he started to make gentle interventions, based more on what he could hear his colleagues thinking than on what he could hear them saying.“So, John, are you really saying...” “Susan, do you really think that?” “Tom, have you got an idea on how we could take this forward?” They looked at him, puzzled.In truth, he felt rather proud of his_newly-acquired_talent.As the meeting progressed, it was clear to him that each member of the meeting was learning how to hear the thoughts of the others.The game-playing started to fall away; people started to speak more directly; views became better understood; the atmosphere became more open and trusting. B.Martin was angry at the dullness of the meeting at the beginning of the meeting.C.Martin led people to express their real thoughts with the meeting progressing.D.Many members of the meeting played games and told lies at the meeting.5.It is inferred from the last two paragraphs that towards the end of the meeting Martin would hear such words as “ ________”.A.I was thinking of making a suggestion—but I couldn’t be botheredB.I have got an idea on how we could take this forward.I think we should…C.The usual people say the usual things, so I have no other new ideas.D.I could have improved on that idea, but I wasn’t going to say.After Alexander was cleared as a suspect,he succeeded his father without opposition, and killed those said to be responsible for his father’s murder, as well as all rivals.He was then just 20 years old.He then prepared to attack Persia.In the spring of 334 B.C.,Alexander led the army made up of nearly 50,000 soldiers into Asia,which is called “the most powerful military expedition(远征)ever to leave Greece”.He soundly defeated the Persian army at the Granicus River,sending a strong message to Darius Ⅲ,leader of the Persian Empire.In 333 B.C., Alexander faced Darius at Issus, a mountain pass.The Macedonian army was greatly outnumbered but able to work the narrow mountain passageway to their advantage.Darius managed to escape.Continuing down the Mediterranean Coast,Alexander took every city in his path.In 332 B.C., Alexander declared Egypt to be part of the Greek Empire and was crowned Pharaoh(法老).When Alexander left Egypt in 331 B.C., he defeated the Persians again and was crowned leader of Asia.In 323 B.C.,however,Alexander developed a fever on the way back home and died 10 days later at Babylon.He was just 33 years old.1.The underlined word “succeeded” is the closest in meaning to________.A.followed B.supportedC.continued D.replaced2.What can we know about Philip Ⅱ’s death?A.He was killed by someone intending to take power from him.B.Alexander sent someone who hated Philip Ⅱto kill him.C.His death was related to his plan of fighting Persia.D.The murder might be organized by a group of people.3.The Macedonian army could defeat the Persians at Issus mainly because________.A.Darius didn’t command his army in the battlefieldB.the Macedonian soldiers were more than the Persian soldiersC.the Macedonian soldiers could fight better at the mountain passD.Macedonia was more powerful than the Persian Empire4.In which order did Alexander do the following things?a.Totally overthrew the Persian Empire.b.Defeated the Persian army at Issus.c.Was crowned Pharaoh of Egypt.d.Defeated the Persian army at the Granicus River.e.Became the leader of Macedonia.A.e,d,b,c,a B.d,e,a,c,bC.e,b,d,c,a D.d,a,c,e,b5.According to the passage,we can infer________.A.Aristotle taught Alexander how to defeat other nationsB.Alexander was happy about his father’s deathC.Persia is tougher to defeat than EgyptD.Macedonia soon declined after Alexander died(三)I remember my math teacher Mr.Young very well.He stood out because the kids made fun of him.He was missing one of his fingers, and always pointed at students with his middle finger.I was not very good at English and math.No matter how hard I tried, I just could not figure out why I did not understand what all the other kids found so easy to learn.One day, I was told that if I got one more E on my report card, I wo uld be taken to the “big prison for kids”.I tried really hard for weeks.I just couldn’t understand how to make different parts of members into whole things.The day before report cards were to come out, I knew that Mr.Young would give me an E, just like he always did.I went to Mr. Young and told him that the orphanage (孤儿院) was going to send me to the big prison if I got another E on my report card.He told me there was nothing he could do;
