2023年最新雅思口语真题4月回忆版

2023年最新雅思口语真题4月回忆版Part 1: Introduction and Interview (4-5 minutes)Question: What is your favorite hobby?Answer: My favorite hobby is reading. I love getting lost in a good book and exploring different worlds, perspectives, and ideas. I enjoy a variety of genres, from classic literature to science fiction to memoirs. Reading also helps me improve my vocabulary and critical thinking skills, and it's a great way to relax and unwind after a busy day.Question: How do you typically spend your weekends?Answer: On weekends, I like to balance productivity and leisure time. I usually start the day with some exercise, whether it's going for a run or doing a yoga class. Then I'll tackle any errands or chores that need to be done, such as grocery shopping or cleaning. In the afternoon or evening, I'll usually spend time with friends or family, whether it's going out to eat, seeing a movie, or just hanging out at home. I also like to carve out some time for personal projects or hobbies, such as writing or learning a new skill.Question: What is your favorite season of the year?Answer: My favorite season of the year is autumn. I love the crisp, cool air and the colorful foliage, as well as the cozy feeling of wearing sweaters and drinking hot beverages. Autumn also marks the start of the holiday season, which is a time for connecting with loved ones and reflecting on the past year. It's a bittersweet season, as the leaves fall and the days grow shorter, but I find that it's a time of introspection and renewal.Part 2: Cue Card (3-4 minutes)Question: Describe a place you have visited that has a special meaning to you.Answer: One place I visited that has a special meaning to me is my hometown. I grew up in a small, rural town in the countryside, surrounded by farms and forests. Although I've traveled to many different places since then, I still feel a strong connection to my hometown and the memories I have there. I remember playing outside with my friends, riding bikes down country roads, and attending community events such as fairs and festivals. Even though it's been years since I've lived there, I still feel a sense of belonging and nostalgia when I visit. Question: Describe a project that you worked on with a group.Answer: One project that I worked on with a group was a business plan competition in university. Our team consisted of four members, and we had to come up with an original business idea and present it to a panel of judges. It was a challenging project, as we had to do extensive research on the industry and market trends, develop a marketing strategy, and create financial projections. However, I really enjoyed working with my team because we all had different strengths and perspectives that complemented each other. We also had good communication and collaboration, and were able to divide the tasks effectively based on our individual interests and skills. I was in charge of creating the pitch deck and presentation, which allowed me to use my creative and visual design skills. When it came time to present, we were all nervous but well-prepared, and we ended up winning second place in the competition. I learned a lot from this project about teamwork, leadership, and entrepreneurship, and it gave me the confidence to pursue my own business ideas in the future.Part 3: Discussion (4-5 minutes)Question: How do you think the role of education has changed in recent years?Answer: Education has undergone significant changes in recent years, thanks in part to advances in technology and shifting societal expectations. One major trend is the move towards personalized and experiential learning, where students have more control over their learning paths and are encouraged to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts. This approach can lead to more engaged and motivated learners, as well as better outcomes in terms of employability and innovation. However, there are also challenges associated with this shift, such as ensuringequitable access to resources and opportunities, and maintaining high standards of quality and rigor. It's important for education systems to adapt and evolve in response to these changes, while also upholding core values such as critical thinking, creativity, and social responsibility.Question: What are the benefits and drawbacks of living in a big city? Answer: Living in a big city can have many benefits, such as access to diverse cultures, job opportunities, and entertainment options. Cities are often hubs of innovation and creativity, where people from different backgrounds can come together and exchange ideas. They also tend to have better public transportation and infrastructure, which can make daily life more convenient and efficient. However, living in a big city can also have drawbacks, such as high cost of living, pollution, and overcrowding. It can be difficult to find affordable housing, and traffic and noise can be constant sources of stress. Additionally, cities can sometimes feel impersonal and isolating, as people are often busy and preoccupied with their own lives. Overall, the decision to live in a big city depends on individual preferences and priorities, and requires careful consideration of both the advantages and disadvantages.。

The school was quite spacious as it was large but there were no many students. Besides, the teachers there were always kind-hearted and responsible for their teaching.Yes, it’s very memorable days of life cos it’s part of my life I got basic education from my school, besides, I didn’t have the stressful study burden at that period, so most of time I played with my classmates a lot. Therefore, it’s a golden period of my life and school days never come back. There are several engaging activities in my school, such as sports meeting when the whole school played sports together. There were some exciting competitions like 100 metres dash, or marathon. Besides, we went autumn outing every year to some local natural sceneries. So you can see we had a heavy burden at that time.In my secondary school, English was my favourite subject because I found it very easy to remember the new word, and the sentences I learned were not hard at all. Besides, thanks to my English teacher, he taught me and corrected my pronunciation so that I could speak quite influent English. As my unfavourable subject, I guess the politics was the most disgusting subject because I had to remember endless and meaningless essays in order to pass the exams by rote. It was really a waste of my time.I believe that the physics was quite helpful in my adult life. Though it wasn’t really needed in daily life of mine, just as my physical teacher said, the physics was the gymnastics for the brain, it helped me do things logically.I believe that my secondary school had taught how to endure hardships if I wanted to achieve my goal. You know, in my country, the competition of entering university is badly fierce, so I had to work very hard in order to be eligible to pursue my education in the future.I guess my secondary school has a rich history and provides a safe, supportive learning community where all students are challenged toreach their highest levels of achievement and grow as individuals.I chose to attend my school because it was the most famous school in my hometown. Volunteer screening is the process in which people are screened or judged so that they can be given work that best fits their personality.7. Situations which affect the larger group of people needs volunteer work. Because at that time, you cannot think about money and then one also needs lot of people. Like, when there was a Tsunami, lot of people died, so many were homeless and then there were many who could not find their loved one. It was such a massive destruction, that required help from the entire planet.8. Volunteering has its own different shades. There is this volunteering where an individual goes to an organization and works on one of their projects. It could be for a month or a year. And then there is gap year volunteering. This is the volunteering which students tend to do during their gap year. It provides them with the necessary skills for placements. Also, there is travel volunteering wherein the individual can volunteer for different causes while traveling.9. Definitely yes. Volunteering or for that matter helping has nothing to do with community. If I can help anyone I will be more than happy to do it.10. There is this book that I read, chicken soup for the soul. It was agreat book, almost an eye opener. It talks about 101 inspiring stories that talk about volunteers and their experiences and how they gave back what they got.11. I think volunteering for something like “trying to ban valentines day”or for that matter “the organizations bringing religious law and order”. These are things I would prefer not to go forward for. Because, they go against my opinion about how things should be.12. Volunteering has its own great advantages. It increases your social and relationship skills, it helps you make more friends and in some way be more connected with your society. Even more, it helps counteracts the effects of stress, anger and anxiety. Some believe it also helps in fighting depression. Then there are people who are alone, like the older people, volunteering gives them the sense or purpose for life.13. I think it is quite a tough thing to do. Because, a volunteer is more often selected more easily as compared to a paid staff. There is certain skill set that is required, but with volunteer it is less of risk. It might be possible that a volunteer makes a mistake but with a paid staff the chances should be less.14. I think, at the first place, the main motive for volunteering should always be to benefit others. However, if one thinks of it in a monetarily or materialistically manner and does it, I think they still should do it. Because at the end both sides gain a lot.Describe your favorite season of the yearYou should say:How is the weather likeWhy do you like this seasonWhat activities do you usually do during itHow would different kinds of weather affect peopleMy favorite season in Canada is summer. The real summer in Canada lasts only two months, July and August. During these two months, the temperature climbs above 20 and it's always sunny. The trees become green again and the whole city is full of various flowers. Day time is longer and night time is shorter. Most time we have sunlight until 10 in the evening. The reason that I like summer is because summer time is the best season for outdoor activities. I love hiking, jogging, and biking. I can go to national parks or city parks easily in summer. Summer gives me so much fun.Just like what I've said, I love hiking, jogging, and biking in summer. I still remember I went to different national parks last summer for hiking. I saw beautiful lakes and mountains. I even encountered a bear looking for food, which was pretty amazing experience.Weather may affect people' choice of activities. It's warm outside in summer, so more people will choose outdoor activities. We always havemore music festivals or food festivals in summer. Winter is super cold in Canada. People would like to stay home instead of going outside.雅思口语相关话题:Sleep1. How many hours do you sleep every day?2. Is it necessary to take a nap every day?3. Do old people sleep a lot? Why?4. But if I want to do something very important at night, I could only sleep for less than four hours.Yes, I believe that after having lunch at noon, it’s beneficial for body to take a nap, half of hour would be enough, to brace for the tasks in the afternoon.Yes, I guess the elderly people do need to sleep more. I believe the reason is that after years of working, stress and the natural processbreaks down people’s body until all they want to do is sleep, consequently, their bodies take longer to recharge the batteries.I believe you have to follow several rules to get a good sleep regularly. Firstly, go to bed at the same time every night. Choose a time when you normally feel tired, so that you don’t toss and turn. Besides, make sure your bed is comfortable so that you can stretch and turn in bed comfortably. As well as that, stay away from big meals at night or try to make dinnertime earlier in the evening, and avoid heavy, rich foods before bed.Yes, getting up early in the morning is really beneficial for health, because I can enjoy the fresh air in the morning; besides, I have plenty of time in the morning so that I can do some physical exercises liking running and jogging; as well as that, I can prepare a good dinner for the family.Well, I’m afraid I can’t fall asleep in the noisy place like barking dogs, loud neighbours and city traffic because I used to sleep quietly from childhood. So sometimes I envy someone who grows accustomed to environmental noise and can sleep well in whatever place.I tend to sleep 7-8 hours during night. However, sometimes due to the work load, I burn the mid night oil.I have organized my days as such that I go to sleep by approximately10 pm.To be honest, I tend to snooze off mostly, after having lunch. It gives me energy required to carry on with the day because by lunch time I start feeling emaciated.Well, surely yes, it is important. Sleep helps ones body to relax and gain back some energy to perform the task of future. 2023雅思口语四大必考题及参考答案

2023雅思口语四大必考题及参考答案

2023雅思口语四大必考题及参考答案四大必考题:Study or work、Hometown、Accommodation及The area you live in。

一、Study or work答案(一)Study1.Do you work or are you a student?I'm a student at Tsinghua University in Beijing.I'm a student, and I'm a freshman in Tsinghua University.I'm a student, a high school student.2.What subject are you studying?I'm studying for a Master's degree in Tsinghua University, specializing in the field of Math Studies.3.Why did you choose that subject?I chose math because I liked it in high school. I was always strong in math and science, so it seemed like a natural progression. Also, I did some research on career opportunities, and it seemed to be a subject with a promising future.4.What would you like to do in the future?I would love to be a teacher. Most of the women in my family are teachers, they have a huge impact on my life. I think it is wonderful to get to change people's lives by what I say or do on the stage. It requires a person to be responsible and caring, and I want to be such a person.5.What are the most popular subjects in China? It's hard to say nowadays. You know, due to the globalization, our country is much more developed than ever. Every subject has something to offer to the society. Students just choose their subjects based on what they are interested in, which then, in turn, can become a trend.6.Do you think it's important to choose a subject you like?Definitely! I think interest is the best motivator, if I choose something I'm keen on, I will be willing to sacrifice my leisure time because it is a worthwhile sacrifice to me. In addition, when I face some difficulties, I will do my best to overcome the problems. Quitting in the middle will never be an option. We should consider carefully our choice from the start, rather than carelessly choosing the wrong path, then regretting it.7.Are you looking forward to working?I have been wanting to work full time, that's for sure. I can now imagine myself waking up early in the morning, getting my business attire on and sitting behind my office desk. I wonder how it feels to work with other professionals and with the boss always around… It could be stressful but interesting, I guess. The best part I would say would be to finally receive a salary and spend my own money. I would not have to bother my parents then. But, like most things in life, it really depends on what the job is and whether the environment is positive or not.8.Do you like your subject? (Why? / Why not?)Honestly, I don't. I am halfway through my college career. But reality struck me when the material we learned in class was much more difficult and the assignments weren't fun. I'm thinking about changing my own major now.9.Do you prefer to study in the mornings or in the afternoons?I am not a morning person, I'm afraid. But to be honest, studying in the afternoon is even worse. I get really sleepy from one to four in the afternoon. So, actually, my brain is at its best in the evening. It works better then. I can stay sharp even until very late at night10.Is your subject interesting to you?Absolutely. I find computer science really stimulating. Imagine creating somethinguseful just using codes and numbers. It requires a good level of imagination and quite a good level of number skills, critical thinking and logic skills as well as a keen ability to solve problems.11.Is there any kind of technology you can use in study? For studying I use a computer and my phone. I often download research papers and read them on my phone and make notes onto the notes section of my phone too. I use my computer to actually write essays and do other homework tasks. (二)work1.What work do you do?I am a teacher at a high school. I started there in Jan 2015 after graduating from college. I would say it is a pretty challenging job.2. Why did you choose to do that type of job?Teaching is my passion. I don't view my career as a "job" per say. I see it more as my calling in life. It is my life's purpose.3. Do you like your job?Definitely! I enjoy the variety and special projects where I can take ownership of the final product. My job provides me with both, so yes, it is a good job and I find it very rewarding.I'm not interested in my job… because it is so mundane and repetitive, two traits I despise and try to stay away from. I hope to find a better job that challenges me to aspire to new heights.4. Do you miss being a student?I definitely do! Now, all the pressure from work and family is difficult to deal with.5. Is it very interesting? Most of the time, yes! The daily challenges from new projects provide constant opportunities to learn new things and to some extent re-invent myself. Every day is unique. My colleagues provide me with support but also healthy competition. I find my job most interesting when I am challenged to reach outside of my comfort zone.6.Is there any kind of technology you use at work?)I use mainly a laptop computer and my phone at work. Sometimes I also use a photocopier scanner, and a video camera if I'm making short promotional videos with my company. But mainly, I just use a computer.7.Can you manage your time well when you work?Yes, I am a project manager in my office, so I am quite good at managing my time and the other people's time on the team. I've worked as an IT manager for several years now.8.Who helps you most at work?My team members – I have a great team and they are all hardworking, supportive, smart and attentive to the needs of others and the project goals.二、Hometown答案1.Has your hometown changed much these years?Absolutely! Take traffic as an example, the most common transport facility used to be buses, it could be really crowded sometimes since people didn't have any other options. However, today, BRT and subway systems have made people's lives easier than ever.2.Is that a big city or a small place? This city is so huge. I often get lost here. Like the other day, I travelled to a new neighborhood that had this restaurant people were raving about. I made a wrongturn and it took me 20 minutes to figure out where I was.3.How long have you been living here? For about half my life, so that is about 10 years. I went to school here, and now I'm working in the same city. In fact, time has gone by really quickly because so there's so much to do here and I've been so active.4.For you, what benefits are there living in a big city?Well, first of all, there are a great number of opportunities for both education and job-hunting in big cities, which explains why people from small cities, towns and villages are flooding to big cities nowadays. Plus, the fact that cities offer more modern facilities and conveniences makes them even more attractive to people.5.Is there anything you dislike about it?Unfortunately, this city has a huge problem with pollution, especially air pollution. The air is so contaminated that we all have to wear masks every time we go out of the house. This problem has escalated to a serious level that it's been catching the attention of the international community. I hope that the government will be able to save this city before the problem gets worse.6.What do you like most about your hometown? What I love the most about it is the mystery. I mean there are so many places inside this city that I have yet to explore. I could spend years checking out every restaurant and attraction Beijing has to offer.7.Where in your country do you live?I live in Beijing. However, since the city is so big, it would take hours to even scratch the surface, but to sum it up, Beijing is the political and cultural heart, and one of the major economic centers of the world today.三、Accommodation答案1.Are the transport facilities in your city very good?Honestly, I wish they were better. I have to walk 20 minutes to the bus stop, and the subway takes another 30 minutes when I get to work. My dream home is a house located right next to a bus stop or subway terminal.2.Which room does your family spend most of the time in?My family loves to stay in the living room as this is the only place in the flat where we can do a lot of things together. We play board games, watch films and TV programs. We play cards sometimes and we spend time working on huge puzzles together.3.Do you live in a house or a flat?I live in a flat, and my flat is situated in a quiet little neighborhood on the north side of city. My parents first moved there in 2000 when they wanted to start a new life and raise a family.4.Do you plan to live here for a long time? Not really! I want to blaze my own trail and live in a place that forces me to reach out and meet new people. I was thinking about moving to Shanghai for a few days to gain a bit more cultural experience of the world.5.Do you live alone or with your family?I'm a student at the moment, and I live with my parents. Actually I quite like it, because my mother is the best cook that I know - it's always wonderful to have a tasty meal after a day of school work. We also talk about our days with each other while we're enjoying dinner, it just feels good.6.How long have you lived there?I've lived there for three years and I really love my place. Since it's on the 11th floor, it's well ventilated and there is plenty of sunshine. I love to sink into the soft sofa to watch TV and eat snacks. There's a large shopping centre within 5 minutes' walk so it's very convenient for me to go shopping, watch movies and eat out. Iwish it was my apartment.7.What do you usually do in your house/flat/room?At weekends, I spend most of my time studying and sleeping in my room. On weekdays, I spend time in the kitchen, baking some cakes or sweet stuff for my mother. Sometimes, we watch films in the living room. On Sundays, we usually clean the house and do some laundry.8.Which is your favourite room in your home?I think it must be my bedroom. My bedroom is not that big but quite neat. There are some posters of Kobe Bryant on the wall because he is my favorite basketball player. My room is kind of a private space for me - I usually play some video games, do my homework and play the guitar in it.9.What's the difference between where you are living now and where you lived in the past? (If you want to say you have not lived elsewhere)I have not moved home at all. I have lived in the same flat since I was born. I love our small place. I have a lot of good memories here, and I treasure them. I'd happily stay here for many more years?10.What can you see when you look out the window of your room?I can see the whole community from my window. In the morning, people are going to school or work, everyone is in a hurry. However, in the evening, it is not that fast-paced anymore. I can see parents taking a walk after dinner and children playing games in the neighborhood.11.Would you be willing to live in the countryside in the future? In the future, probably. There is a peacefulness I enjoy when visiting the countryside. People there are friendly and always willing to start a conversation. I think when I retire, living in the countryside is a nice option to me.四、The area you live in答案1.Where do you like to go in that area? The sports stadium next to the building I live in, is where I would like to go frequently. That's really awesome!2.Do you know any famous people in your area?Actually yes! I am aware that a lot of movie stars come from where I live. I feel very proud every time I see them in a fantastic film. Also, there are some poets and writers who are living in the area that I come from. So, I suppose my city is an artistic and poetic area.3.How has your area changed in recent years?Well, a lot of changes are taking place nowadays in my city. I can see more and more skyscrapers having been built and the public transportation system is becoming more diversified and completed. But for me, the most fantastic change is that there is greater diversity in restaurants! Now I can taste genuine foreign food in my city. How marvelous it is!4.Do you like the area that you live in now?Of course, yes! There are so many aspects in this area that take my fancy. The climate of it is perfect to me, although the winter is a bit freezing. And the modernity there is what attracts me most. Living in this place, I feel that I can always keep pace with times.。
