The same is true in community life. It is a vital means of civic engagement. It is a way to express your ideas and to have an impact on issues that matter in a democratic society.
Significance
Public speaking is one of the most important communication skills, which were ranked first among the personal qualities of college graduates sought by employers according to a recent survey of 480 companies and public organizations.
Expectation
Arrive on time for class; take part in discussion in class; take notes by yourself; imitate, recite and practice before, in and after class.
To become capable and responsible thinkers

Teaching Strategy for the Course
The course will be taught by a combination of teaching and discussion. The teaching will provide relevant knowledge including that of features of public speaking and English public speaking, the way of organization and way of thinking, way of analyzing and adapting to audiences,
When you turn off the highway, you’ll see a big diner on the left.
But before that, stay on the
highway to Exit 67. Usually a couple of the neighbor’s
dogs are in the street, so go slow after you turn at the blinking light. Coming from your house you get on the highway through Maple Street. If you pass the taco stand, you’ve gone too far. The house is blue.
Assessment
Students will be assessed on class participation, assignments and examination.
