形容词的比较等级

一、形容词原级

肯定句:A＋动词＋as＋形容词原级＋as＋B

表示“A和B两者比较, 程度相同”。

He is as careful as I .他和我一样细心。

Tom does his homework as carefully as Lucy .

汤姆和露西一样认真地做作业。

He is as old as I .＝He is the same age as I .他和我一样大。

She is as tall as I . = She is the same high as I .她和我一样高。否定句: A…＋not＋as＋形容词原级＋as＋B

＝A…＋not＋so＋形容词原级＋as＋B

表示“A、B两者程度不同，即A不如B那么……”

He is not as / so careful as I .＝I am more careful than he .

他不如我细心。

The weather in Beijing is not as / so hot as that in Wuhan .

我们图书馆的书没有你们的那么多。

疑问句: Be动词＋A＋as＋形容词原级＋as＋B ？

Is he as busy as before ? 他还像以前那么忙吗？

Is there as much water in this glass as in that one ?

这个杯子里的水和那个杯子里的一样多吗？

需注意的原级用法：

⑴表示“是…的几倍”…times＋as＋形容词原级＋as

This garden is ten times as large as that one .

这个花园是那个的十倍大。

⑵表示“…的一半”half as＋形容词原级＋as

My handwriting is not half as good as yours .

我的书法不如你的一半儿好。

⑶表示“尽可能…”as＋形容词原级＋as possible

He is as fast as possible . 他尽可能快。

二、形容词比较级

意义:表示两者（人或事物）的比较。

句型:A＋动词＋形容词比较级＋than＋B

表示“A比B更…一些”。

Mary is younger than I / me . 玛莉比我年轻。

Hangzhou is more beautiful than Wuhan . 杭州比武汉漂亮。

The rubbit runs faster than the turtle .兔子跑得比乌龟快。

需注意的比较级用法：

⑴.在形容词比较级前还可以用much , even , far , a lot , still , a littl e…来

修饰，表示“……的多”，“甚至……”，“仍然，还……”，“更……”，“……

一些”，以加强语气。

Our city is much more beautiful than yours .我们城市比你们的漂亮得多。

He is even slower than before . 他甚至比以前更慢了。

⑵.表示倍数“比……大（长，多…）几倍”：…times＋形容词比较级＋tha n…

Our room is twice larger than theirs . 我们房子比他们的大两倍。

⑶.表示“大几岁”，“高几厘米”等：…＋数、量的词＋形容词比较级

I’m two years older than you . 我比你大两岁。

She is a head taller than I / me . 她比我高一个头。

⑷.表示“比其他的任何……都……”：比较级＋than any other＋单数名词

He is better than any other student in the class .

＝He is better than anyone else in the class .

＝He is the best in the class .

他在班里，比任何一个别的学生都好。

This watch is more expensive than any other watch in the shop .

＝This watch is more expensive than anyone else in the shop .

＝This watch is the most expensive one in the shop .

在这个店里，这只表比其他任何一只别的表都贵。

⑸.表示“越来越……”：比较级＋and＋比较级

The earth is getting warmer and warmer . 地球变得越来越暖和。

Our city is more and more beautiful . 我们的城市越来越漂亮。

⑹.表示“越……就越……”：th e＋比较级……, the＋比较级……

The more you read , the more you’ll get . 你读得越多，收获就越大。

The more he eats , the fatter he gets . 他吃得越多，就越发胖。

The busier he is , the happier he feels . 他越忙就越高兴。

The higher the ground (is) , the thinner air becomes .

地势越高，空气就越稀薄。

⑺.表示“两个中比较……的”：th e＋比较级＋of the two

The cat is the bigger of the two . 这只猫是两个中比较便宜的。

Of the two girls , Lily is the more diligent .

莉莉是这两个女孩当中比较勤奋。

⑻.表示“比较A和B，哪一个较……”Which is＋比较级，A or B?

A : Which one is more beautiful , Beijing or Shanghai ?

B : Beijing is .

三、形容词的最高级

意义:表示三者或三者以上（人或事物）的比较，其中有一个在某一方面超过其他几个时，用最高级。形容词最高级的前面一般要加定冠词the，后面可带of (in)短语来说明比较的范围。

句型: A＋动词＋形容词最高级＋of / in…

Tom is the happiest of us all .

This park is the most beautiful of the three .
