《新视野大学英语读写教程3》教案Unit 3 Let’s go一、单元教学概况(一)教学目标1. 知识目标(1)语言层面:学生能够学会并使用本单元重点词汇、短语、句型结构,并能够掌握主题相关词汇。

(2)内容层面:学生能够通过篇章学习,理解旅游的意义,了解不同的旅游方式。

2. 能力目标(1)词汇应用能力:学生能够使用主题相关词汇进行话题内容阐述。

• 学生能够描述一段旅行,意思表达准确,词汇丰富。

• 学生能够就旅行相关话题表达观点,同时能够就旅行话题相关观点进行分析评价。

(2)阅读能力:学生能够分析文章结构,了解不同的写作文体,并识别文章的写作风格。

(3)写作能力:学生能够准确进行因果关系论述,论点论据清晰,逻辑性强,并使用准确、丰富的标记词汇。

(4)应用能力:学生能够根据目的地制定多日旅行计划,学会制定日程表,内容全面。

(5)思辨能力:学生能够分析旅游的意义与可能遇到的挑战;能够比较、分析独自旅游的优劣势3.思政育人目标学生能够运用主题相关词汇介绍进入联合国世界文化遗产和自然遗产名录的中国景点,介绍自己家乡景点,培养学生家国情怀。

(二)教学基本内容本单元聚焦“旅行”主题,围绕三篇“旅行”主题相关的阅读素材,进行相关内容、词汇、技能等层面的学习,并在单元最后,应用单元所学,完成一个综合型产出任务。

本单元三篇学习素材各有侧重,旨在从不同维度加深学生对于旅游意义的思考:Text A阐释了旅行的意义,Text B描述了单独旅行的意义, Text C则介绍了一对老年夫妇在退休之后的旅行经历。

本课程共十个单元,其中每单元中的 section A 为重点讲解部分,属于精读,并含有针对 section A 的阅读理解、词汇、短语、句型、句子翻译的练习以 及针对活学活用和基本写作技能的练习。而 section B 属于快速阅读部分,根据课后问题,从文中找出正 确的答案。这一部分可以锻炼学生的阅读能力。 Section C 为使用英语写作部分,练习如何写招聘广 告、商务函件、产品及公司说明等。

The passage in section A is about the first McDonald’s restaurant which is closely related to American culture. Through studying this passage, students will acquire some basic understanding about the history and current state of the first McDonald’s restaurant.2.Analysis of StudentsAfter learning experience in last semester, students’English level has been improved. 因此,教师在设计教学活动时,应充分发挥我们的创造性,调动学生的学习积极性,从而发展学生运用英语的能力。

本课是《新视野英语教程读写教程》第二册第一单元的section A部分。

第一单元的主题是Symbols of Cultures文化的象征。

围绕这一主题,这一单元分为section A ,section B 和section C三部分,每一部分各有侧重点。

section A部分选取的是美国文化联系最为密切的麦当劳文化。

通过对本课的学习,使学生了解第一个麦当劳餐厅的历史与现状。

二、学情分析Analysis of Students经过上一个学期的学习之后,学生的英语水平有所提高,能够用英语对所学的课文进行复述,就熟悉话题能进行简单的交流,但在准确性和流利性上还有待提高;在听力理解方面能够听懂简单的对话和陈述,但还不能做到精确的复述;能够进行简单的英汉互译,但翻译不了稍有难度的句子;能够读准单词的发音,但还有相当数量的问题需要纠正。

三、教学目标根据《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》提出的教学目的,鉴于对本课的理解,我制定了如下的教学目标:(一)知识目标:熟练掌握文中重点生词、词组、句型及语法,理解课文,扩大词汇量,巩固语言知识。

(二)能力目标:培养学生的英语听、说、读等综合能力,以便他们可以将英语运用到实际交谈中。

四、重点难点重点是掌握和应用本课的单词和短语的主要用法。

难点是掌握表达个人意见的语句和表达方法。

运用本课词汇和短语对于熟悉的话题陈述自己的观点。

五、教学方法情景交际法:语言只有在一定的情景中才能使其表达具有的真实意义。

1. “Culture” refers to the art, beliefs, and customs of a particular society. And it usually can be reflected by some medium, such as songs, poems, bulidings and some other things. 2. The symbol of culture in Section A is mainly about a building---the first McDonald’s restaurant which is made in 1953. McDonald’s company wants to tear it down because it was damaged in an earthquake. While the local people disagree with it and they think it is a symbol of local culture, and it should be kept. So we see there are two different ideas about the same thing. 3. By studying this passage, Ss can enrich their knowledge about American. And meanwhile, Ss should do some listening, speaking and writing, too. In this way, Ss can improve their reading ability, and they also receive some moral education. Let them understand the meaning of culture and learn how to express their different ideas .
