用英文写一篇如何把遗憾变成动力的作文

用英文写一篇如何把遗憾变成动力的作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Turning Regrets into MotivationHave you ever felt really bad about something you did or didn't do? Maybe you didn't study hard enough for a test and got a bad grade, or you missed out on joining a club or team because you were too shy to sign up. We've all experienced regrets like these at some point in our lives, and they can make us feel really down and disappointed in ourselves.But you know what? Those regrets can actually be really powerful if we use them the right way. Instead of letting them bring us down, we can turn them into motivation to do better next time. Here's how:Admit Your MistakeThe first step is to admit that you made a mistake or didn't do something you should have done. It's easy to make excuses or blame others, but the truth is, we all mess up sometimes. Theimportant thing is to own up to it and take responsibility for your actions (or inactions).Feel Your FeelingsWhen you've made a mistake or have a regret, it's normal to feel bad about it. You might feel sad, angry, frustrated, or disappointed. Don't bottle those feelings up – let them out in a healthy way, like talking to a friend or writing in a journal. Holding in those emotions can make you feel even worse in the long run.Learn from Your MistakeOnce you've acknowledged your mistake and dealt with your feelings, it's time to learn from what happened. Think about what you could have done differently or what you might do next time in a similar situation. This is how we grow and become better people.Make a PlanNow that you've learned from your mistake, make a plan for how you'll approach things differently next time. Maybe you'll start studying for tests earlier, or you'll sign up for that club or team you were too shy to join before. Having a plan will help you feel more in control and motivated to do better.Take ActionThis is the most important step – actually following through on your plan and taking action. It's easy to say you'll do better next time, but it's much harder to actually do it. But if you stay focused and committed, you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish.Don't Be Too Hard on YourselfWhile it's important to learn from your mistakes and do better next time, it's also important not to be too hard on yourself. We all make mistakes – that's part of being human. As long as you're trying your best and learning from your experiences, that's what matters most.Celebrate Your SuccessesFinally, when you do succeed in turning your regrets into motivation and achieving your goals, make sure to celebrate your successes! Give yourself a pat on the back, treat yourself to something special, or share your accomplishments with others. Celebrating your wins, no matter how small, will help keep you motivated and inspired to keep pushing forward.Remember, regrets are a natural part of life, but they don't have to hold you back. By turning them into motivation, you canuse them as fuel to become the best version of yourself. It won't be easy, but if you follow these steps and stay committed, you'll be amazed at what you can achieve.So the next time you find yourself feeling regretful about something, don't let those feelings bring you down. Instead, use them as a reminder to do better next time, and let them light a fire within you to become the person you want to be.篇2Turning Regrets into MotivationHave you ever felt really sad or disappointed about something you wish you had done differently? Maybe you didn't study hard enough for a test, or you missed out on a fun activity because you procrastinated. That feeling of regret can be really tough, but guess what? We can actually use those regrets to help us do better next time!Let me tell you a story about a time when I turned my regret into motivation. Last year, our class had a science fair, and we were all supposed to create a cool project to present. I had this really cool idea to make a volcano that would actually erupt with fizzy lava! I was so excited about it, but then I kept putting it off and didn't start working on it until the last minute.After that, I felt really regretful that I hadn't taken the time to work on my project properly. I kept thinking about how much cooler it could have been if I had just started earlier and put in the effort. But then, something clicked in my mind. Instead of just feeling bad about it, I decided to use that regret as motivation to do better next time.I made a promise to myself that from then on, I would start my projects and assignments as soon as I got them. I would make a plan and follow it, instead of just winging it at the last minute. And you know what? It worked!The next big project we had was a research paper on a famous historical figure. Instead of waiting until the night before it was due, I started researching and taking notes weeks in advance. I made an outline and followed it, and I even had time to get my mom to help me proofread and edit it. When I turned in that paper, I felt so proud of myself because I knew I had put in my best effort.Since then, I've tried to keep using my regrets as motivation to do better. Whenever I feel that pang of regret over something I wish I had done differently, I remind myself of how good it felt to put in the hard work and see the results. It's not always easy, of course. Sometimes I still find myself procrastinating or gettinglazy. But when that happens, I just think back to that science fair disaster and how awful it felt to present something I wasn't proud of.Using regret as motivation doesn't just apply to schoolwork, either. It can work for all sorts of things in life. Maybe you regret not practicing harder for that big soccer game, or not spending more time with your grandparents when they were still around. Instead of just feeling bad about it, you can use those regrets to push yourself to work harder at your next practice or make more of an effort to spend time with your loved ones.So the next time you find yourself regretting something, don't just wallow in self-pity. Use that regret as fuel to light a fire under you! Make a plan to do better next time, and work hard to follow through on it. You might be surprised at how much you can accomplish when you turn those negative feelings into positive motivation.And who knows? Maybe one day, you'll look back and realize that your biggest regret ended up being the thing that motivated you to achieve something amazing. How cool would that be?篇3How to Turn Regrets Into Fuel for SuccessHave you ever felt really bad about something you did or didn't do? Maybe you didn't study hard enough for a test and got a bad grade. Or you didn't practice that sport or instrument as much as you could have. Perhaps you said something mean to a friend that you wish you could take back. We've all been there! Those feelings of regret can really make us feel down in the dumps. But did you know that you can actually use those regrets to motivate you to do better next time? It's true! Let me explain how.First off, it's totally normal to feel regretful sometimes. We're human, and we all make mistakes or get lazy or say the wrong thing occasionally. The key is not beating yourself up too much over it. Instead, try to learn from your regrets. Ask yourself why you feel that way – what did you do or not do that you wish you could change? Maybe you didn't practice your violin enough because you got distracted watching TV after school instead. Or perhaps you waited until the last minute to study for that math test. Thinking through what went wrong is the first step.Next, don't just feel bad about it – make a plan! If you regret not practicing an instrument or sport more, commit to a schedule where you set aside time each day to work on it. Put itin your calendar and stick to it. If you struggled on a test because you didn't study properly, figure out what studying tactics work best for you. Some kids make flashcards, others rewrite their notes, and some do practice tests over and over. Find what works and get those good study habits in place.Making a plan is great, but the next step is the most important of all – you have to actually follow through on it! This is where the motivation comes in. Think about how you'll feel if you make that same mistake again next time. Pretty lousy, right? But also visualize how amazing you'd feel if you put in the hard work and saw the results you wanted. Imagine getting an amazing grade on the next test because you studied your butt off. Or picturing yourself playing that musical piece beautifully after practicing it tirelessly. When you keep those positive feelings in mind, it becomes a lot easier to push past the momentary pain of hard work and stay on track.At the end of the day, we're all going to feel regretful over mistakes and missed opportunities at times. It's just part of being a human being on this crazy journey of life. But those regrets don't have to be something that gets you down and makes you feel awful about yourself. Instead, you can transform those regrets into powerful motivation to make better choices and putin the hard work required to turn things around. Just be sure to get really clear on what you regret, make a concrete plan to improve, stay motivated by your future vision of success, commit to following that plan relentlessly, and hop right back on track anytime you get distracted. Before you know it, those regrets will be ancient history – replaced by feelings of pride, accomplishment, and motivational momentum that simply won't quit.So don't let regrets drag you down! Use them as fuel for your motivational fire to work harder, get smarter, and ultimately get exactly what you want out of life. You've got this!篇4Turning Regrets Into MotivationWe all have regrets in life - things we wish we had done differently or opportunities we missed out on. At my young age, I've already experienced my fair share of regrets. Like the time I was too scared to audition for the school play because I was afraid I might mess up on stage. Or when I put off studying for that big math test until the last minute and didn't do as well as I could have. Regrets can really bum you out and make you feel bad about yourself.But you know what? I've learned that instead of letting regrets get me down, I can use them as motivation to do better next time. Regrets show me what I'm capable of and push me to work harder to achieve my goals. Every regret is an opportunity for growth and improvement. Let me tell you how I've learned to turn my regrets into motivation.First, when I find myself feeling regretful about something, I take a step back and think about why I regret it. What went wrong? What could I have done differently? Getting to the root of the regret is important. Maybe I didn't prepare enough, or I let my fears and doubts hold me back. Understanding the causes helps me figure out how to approach things differently going forward.Next, I make a plan for how I'll handle a similar situation better in the future. If I regret not studying harder for a test, I'll make a study schedule and find a quiet spot to really focus. If I regret missing out on an opportunity because I was too shy or scared, I'll practice building up my confidence. Having a concrete plan helps motivate me to improve.I also try to think about how I'll feel if I don't learn from my regrets. Letting regrets weigh me down without doing anything about them tends to make me feel worse in the long run. But if Itake action and work on fixing my mistakes, I feel so much better about myself. That sense of taking control and doing what I can to be better is really motivating.Some of my biggest motivations have come from regrets. Like when I regretted not joining the soccer team because I didn't think I was good enough. ThatRegret motivated me to practice my skills all summer until I felt confident enough to try out the next year. And guess what? I made the team! If I had just wallowed in my regret instead of working harder, I would have missed out again.Another major regret that motivated me was when I put off a big project until the last minute and turned in sloppy, low-quality work as a result. I was so disappointed in myself. But instead of just feeling sorry about it, I decided to develop better time management and organization habits. Now I start assignments as soon as I get them and work on them a little bit each day. It's made such a big difference in my work quality and how I feel about what I accomplish.At the end of the day, I've realized that regrets don't have to drag me down if I don't let them. Sure, they may sting for a little while, but then I can choose to use that feeling as motivation to improve myself and my habits. Regrets show me my weaknesses,but also my strength and ability to become better. With the right mindset, I can transform regrets from setbacks into fuel to power me forward.Looking ahead, I know I'll continue to experience regrets big and small as I keep growing up. Disappointments and mistakes are unavoidable in life. But now I have a strategy to overcome them – I can feel that regret, learn from it, make a plan, and let it motivate me to work harder toward my dreams and goals. Regrets don't have to hold me back. In fact, with the right approach, they can be rocket boosters propelling me forward!篇5Turning Regrets into MotivationHave you ever felt really bad about something you did or didn't do? Maybe you didn't study hard enough for a test, and you got a bad grade. Or maybe you were mean to a friend, and they stopped talking to you. That feeling of regret can be really tough. It's like a heavy weight on your shoulders, and it can be hard to shake off.But you know what? Regrets can actually be good for us. They can help us learn and grow, and they can even give usmotivation to do better next time. That's right – those yucky feelings can turn into something positive!Let me tell you a story about how I turned one of my biggest regrets into motivation. It all started last year when my class had a talent show. I really wanted to perform a magic trick, but I was too scared to sign up. I regretted not being brave enough to do it. But instead of just feeling bad about it, I decided to use that regret to push me to try harder next time.I started practicing magic tricks every day after school. At first, I was terrible! I dropped things, forgot the steps, and even made a mess a few times. But I didn't give up. I kept practicing and practicing, using my regret from the talent show to motivate me.Then, a few months later, my school had a community fair. I signed up to perform a magic show, and this time, I was ready. I had worked so hard, and my regret from before had turned into determination.The show was a huge success! Everyone clapped and cheered, and I even got a few gasps of amazement. I felt so proud of myself for not giving up and for using my regret as fuel to work harder.That's the thing about regrets – they can be powerful motivators if we let them. Instead of just feeling bad about something, we can use that feeling to push us to do better next time.Maybe you regret not trying hard enough in math class this year. Instead of just feeling bad about it, use that regret to motivate you to study harder and ask for help when you need it next year.Or maybe you regret being unkind to someone. Use that regret to remind yourself to be kinder and more thoughtful in the future.Regrets can be tough, but they don't have to weigh us down. We can use them to learn, grow, and become better versions of ourselves.Here are some tips for turning regrets into motivation:Acknowledge your regret. Don't try to ignore it or push it away. Recognize that you made a mistake or missed an opportunity, and that's okay. We all do that sometimes.Reflect on why you feel regretful. Was it because you didn't try hard enough? Because you were nervous or scared? Understanding the root cause can help you address it next time.Make a plan. Once you know what you regret and why, make a plan for how you'll do better next time. Maybe you need to practice more, ask for help, or just be braver.Use your regret as fuel. Every time you feel that twinge of regret, let it remind you to work harder and stick to your plan. Don't let the feeling bring you down – use it to lift you up!Celebrate your progress. As you work towards your goal, celebrate the small wins along the way. That'll help keep you motivated and remind you how far you've come.Regrets can be tough, but they don't have to hold us back. With a little bit of reflection and a lot of determination, we can turn those regrets into fuel for success.So the next time you feel that familiar pang of regret, don't let it get you down. Use it as motivation to do better, work harder, and become the best version of yourself. You've got this!篇6Here's an essay in English on how to turn regrets into motivation, written in the tone of an elementary school student, with around 2000 words:Title: Turning Regrets into Rocket FuelHave you ever felt really bad about something you did or didn't do? That's called regret, and it can feel like a heavy weight dragging you down. But did you know that you can actually use your regrets to boost you up and give you the energy to do better next time? It's true! Just like a rocket needs fuel to blast off into space, your regrets can become the fuel that powers you towards your goals.Let me tell you a story about how I learned this important lesson. Last year, I didn't study very hard for my math test. I spent too much time playing video games and not enough time practicing my multiplication tables. When I got my test back, I was really disappointed to see that I had gotten a bunch of questions wrong. I felt terrible about my low score, and I regretted not taking the test more seriously.At first, I just felt sad and discouraged. I thought to myself, "I'm just not good at math, and I'll never get better." But then, something amazing happened. My teacher, Mrs. Johnson, pulled me aside and said, "David, I know you're upset about your test score, but instead of feeling bad, why don't you use this as motivation to work harder next time?"Mrs. Johnson's words were like a lightbulb turning on in my head. She was right! Instead of letting my regret drag me down, Icould use it as fuel to power me towards my goal of improving in math. From that day on, I made a promise to myself that I would never let a regret go to waste again.The next time we had a big math test coming up, I studied like crazy. I made flashcards, did extra practice problems, and even asked my parents to quiz me while we were in the car or at the dinner table. When I got my test score back, I had aced it! All that hard work had paid off, and it felt amazing.But you know what felt even better? The feeling of knowing that I had turned my previous regret into motivation, and used it to help me achieve my goal. It was like I had taken that heavy weight of regret and transformed it into a powerful rocket booster, propelling me towards success.Since then, I've learned to use this "regret to rocket fuel" trick in all sorts of situations. Whenever I feel that pang of regret about something, I stop and ask myself, "How can I use this feeling to motivate me to do better next time?" Sometimes, it's as simple as regretting not practicing my lines enough for the school play, so I make sure to rehearse extra hard for the next performance. Other times, it's a bigger regret, like not being a very good friend to someone, so I make a plan to be more thoughtful and supportive in the future.The best part about turning regrets into motivation is that it's a skill you can use for the rest of your life. As you get older, you'll probably have more and more regrets – that's just part of growing up and learning from your mistakes. But instead of letting those regrets weigh you down, you can choose to use them as fuel to help you reach your goals.Just imagine how much you could accomplish if you never let a single regret go to waste! Every time you feel that twinge of regret, you could use it to power you towards becoming a better student, a better friend, a better athlete, or whatever it is you're striving for.So the next time you find yourself regretting something, don't get discouraged. Instead, get excited! You've just been handed a fresh tank of rocket fuel, ready to blast you towards your dreams. All you have to do is light the match and let that regret propel you forward.I know it might seem hard at first, but with practice, turning regrets into motivation will become second nature. And who knows, maybe one day you'll be teaching someone else this amazing trick! Just remember: every regret is an opportunity in disguise, waiting to be transformed into the fuel that will launch you towards success.。

老年人和年轻人之间的不同的英语作文

老年人和年轻人之间的不同的英语作文

老年人和年轻人之间的不同的英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Differences Between Old and Young PeopleOld people and young people are really different in a lot of ways. I've noticed this by watching the older people in my family, like my grandparents, and then my friends at school who are the same age as me. We act totally different and like different things!One of the biggest differences is how old people and young people spend their free time. My grandparents love doing things like watching TV, reading books, doing puzzles, and going on walks. Those things are pretty boring to me and my friends. We would rather play video games, go to the park, have sleepovers, and just run around being silly. Old people seem to like quiet activities, while young people like being active and loud.We also dress really differently. My grandpa wears boring pants and sweater vests a lot. My grandma wears floral dresses and sensible shoes. Me and my friends want to wear whatever is coolest - ripped jeans, t-shirts with our favorite characters, sparkly shoes, that kind of thing. Grown-ups don't seem to careas much about dressing stylishly. They just want to be comfortable.Another difference is that old people are a lot more patient and relaxed. My grandparents never seem to be in a hurry about anything. But my parents are always rushing me and my siblings around - hurry up and get ready for school, hurry and clean your room, hurry and eat your dinner. Young people always have energy and want things done quickly. But maybe when I'm an old person I'll be patient like my grandparents are.I've noticed old people complain about being tired and having aches and pains a lot too. They say things like "My back is killing me after working in the garden" or "I'm exhausted from running errands all day." My friends and I never feel like that! We could run and play all day and night without getting worn out. I guess being young means you have a lot more energy.Older people also don't understand a lot of the stuff me and my friends like, especially technology. My grandparents can barely work their old laptop or smartphone. But me and my friends are experts at all the latest video games, apps, and devices. We try teaching the older people in our families about technology, but they just don't get it. I guess when you're old, it's harder to learn new things, especially complicated tech stuff.Old people seem to know more stuff than young people though. They're a lot smarter from living longer and having more experiences. Whenever I ask my grandparents a question, they have some wise advice or interesting story to share. And they're better at practical skills like cooking, gardening, fixing things around the house. My friends and I don't know how to do anything like that yet since we're still learning. I'll have to get smart like my grandparents when I'm older.Even though there are lots of differences between old and young people, we do have some things in common too. We all like spending time with our families, eating good food, laughing at funny jokes, and doing hobbies we enjoy. I guess those are just part of being a human no matter how old you are.Being around my grandparents and other older people makes me wonder what I'll be like when I'm their age. Will I still have lots of energy and want to dress stylishly? Or will I be relaxed, patient, and prefer quiet activities? I'll have to wait and see what getting older is like. For now, I'll just enjoy being a kid and doing all the things that young people like me love to do!篇2The Big Differences Between Grandparents and KidsGrandparents and kids are like two different planets in the same solar system. We might live together or see each other often, but we're so unlike each other in many ways. I've noticed lots of differences between my grandparents and me and my friends. Here are some of the biggest ones:Grandparents are Super Slow!Have you ever tried walking with your grandparents? It's like they're moving in slow motion! My grandpa takes tiny, shuffling steps, and it feels like forever to get anywhere. When we go for walks, I'm always way ahead, waiting impatiently for them to catch up. And don't even get me started on how long it takes them to do anything on a computer or phone!They Worry About EverythingGrandparents seem to worry about every little thing. If I forget my jacket, my grandma acts like I'll catch pneumonia and end up in the hospital. If I want to climb a tree or ride my bike down a hill, my grandpa warns me about broken bones and concussions. Sometimes I think they imagine the worst-case scenario for everything!Their Taste in Food is So BlandMy friends and I love all kinds of flavors – spicy, sour, sweet, you name it! But my grandparents' idea of good food is plain and boring. They like everything boiled or steamed with hardly any seasoning. No wonder they have to put salt and pepper on everything! Where's the excitement?They Dress So... Old-FashionedHave you seen how grandparents dress? It's like they're stuck in a time warp from decades ago! My grandpa wears those high-waisted pants that come up to his armpits, and my grandma loves those floral print dresses that look like they're from the 1950s. They clearly don't care about looking cool or trendy.They're Always Talking About "The Good Old Days"Whenever my grandparents get together with their friends, they start reminiscing about "the good old days." They go on and on about how much better things used to be when they were young – the TV shows, the music, the values, you name it. It's like they think everything today is worse than it was back then. Hello, have they seen the amazing video games and technology we have now?They Fall Asleep Everywhere!My grandparents could fall asleep anywhere, anytime. I've seen them doze off while watching TV, reading the newspaper, or even in the middle of a conversation! It's like they have a built-in sleep mode that activates randomly. Maybe it's because they wake up so early in the morning (like, before the sun is even up!).They Repeat Themselves... Constantly!Have you noticed how grandparents seem to tell the same stories over and over again? My grandpa will start a story about his time in the army, and before he's even finished, my grandma will say, "You've already told us that one a hundred times!" But he'll just keep going like he didn't hear her. It's like their brains are stuck on rewind or something.They're Always Complaining About SomethingGrandparents sure do love to complain! Whether it's about the weather, the prices at the grocery store, or the way young people dress these days, they always seem to find something to grumble about. My friends and I try to stay positive and have fun, but our grandparents can be such grumpy grumps sometimes.They Ask the Weirdest QuestionsEver had a grandparent ask you a question that makes absolutely no sense? Like, "Why don't you kids ever play marbles anymore?" or "Whatever happened to hula hoops?" It's like they're living in a different reality sometimes. And good luck trying to explain modern trends or technology to them – it just goes right over their heads!But... They Give the Best Hugs and Cookies!Despite all their quirks and differences, there's one thing grandparents are experts at: giving warm, loving hugs and baking the most delicious cookies and treats. Whenever I'm feeling down or just need a pick-me-up, my grandparents are always there with open arms and a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies. That's something kids and grandparents can definitely agree on!So, there you have it – some of the biggest differences between grandparents and kids. We might seem like we're from different planets sometimes, but at the end of the day, we're all part of the same family. And who knows, maybe when I'm a grandparent someday, the kids will think I'm just as weird and outdated as I think my grandparents are now!篇3The Differences Between Older and Younger PeopleHave you ever noticed how different older people are from younger people? I've spent a lot of time thinking about this, and there are so many ways they are not the same. Let me tell you about some of the biggest differences I've noticed.First, older people and younger people look really different from each other. Older people have wrinkly skin and white or grey hair, while younger people have smooth skin and hair in all different colors like blonde, brown, red, and black. Older people also move slower and have a harder time getting around. My grandma has to use a walker to get from one room to the other. But younger people are fast and energetic and can run around all day without getting tired.Another big difference is how older and younger people act. Older people are usually more serious and don't laugh or smile as much. They get upset easily if you make too much noise or make a mess. My grandpa is always telling me to be quieter and cleaner. But younger people are a lot more fun and playful. We laugh at silly jokes, play around by being loud and messy on purpose, and just like to have a good time. Older people also don't understand a lot of the stuff younger people like, like video games, social media, or the latest songs and TV shows.The way older and younger people think is also really different. Older people think about serious things and worry a lot, like about their health, money, politics, and other boring grown-up topics. But younger people don't think too much about that stuff. We're more focused on having fun, playing games, and just being kids. Older people also have reallyold-fashioned views and believe in lots of rules, while younger people have more modern, open-minded views.Older and younger people even talk differently. Older people use longer words and speak more properly and formally. But younger people use shorter, simpler words and a lot more slang words that we make up. We also speak way faster than older people do. Sometimes it's hard for grandparents to understand what kids are saying because we use so much slang!The activities that older and younger people enjoy are totally different too. Older people like calm, quiet activities like reading books, watching TV, gardening, or doing puzzles. But those things are way too boring for younger people like me. We want to do active, loud, energetic stuff like playing sports, running around outside, dancing, and playing video games. Whenever my parents try to get me to do grandma-type activities like knitting or bird watching, I get so bored after about 2 minutes.You can really see the differences when older and younger people use technology too. Older people have such a hard time with anything tech-related. They get so confused by computers, smartphones, apps, and websites. It takes them forever just to send a text message or check their email. But for younger people, we understand all that technology stuff naturally because we grew up with it. We can use ten apps at once, no problem!Even though there are so many differences between older and younger people, I still really love spending time with my grandparents and other older relatives and neighbors. They've lived such long, interesting lives and have so many wise insights and cool stories to share if you take the time to listen. And while they might not always understand me and my friends, they do try their best. Older people can learn a thing or two from us younger people about being more fun, energetic, and open-minded too.I just hope that when I'm an older person someday, I'll still be young at heart. I'll try to stay active, keep learning about the newest stuff instead of being stuck in the past, and spend time with young people so I don't turn into a serious, strict grandpa who's always grumpy and yelling at kids to stay off my lawn! Maybe if we understand each other's differences a little better, younger and older people can meet in the middle.篇4The Differences Between Old and Young PeopleHi there! My name is Sam and I'm going to tell you about the differences I've noticed between old people and young people like me. I've got lots of grandparents and great-grandparents, and I also have friends at school, so I get to see both old and young people up close!The first big difference is how they look on the outside. Old people have wrinkly skin, especially on their face and hands. Their skin gets kind of saggy and not tight like young people's skin. They also usually have gray or white hair, while kids my age have hair that's lots of different colors - brown, blonde, red, black. Some old people are bald too and don't have any hair at all on their head!Another thing that's really different is their energy levels. My grandparents and other old people I know tend to get tired more easily. They like to take naps during the day and go to bed pretty early at night. Kids my age have way more energy - we can run around and play for hours without getting tired! I guess as you get older your body just doesn't have as much zip.The way old and young people think and talk is pretty different too. Little kids are learning new things all the time, so we ask a million questions about everything. "Why is the sky blue? Where do babies come from? How do planes stay up in the air?" We're curious about the whole world! Older people have already learned so much stuff from living a long time, so they don't ask as many questions. They share their wisdom and life lessons with us instead.Speaking of talking, old people seem to talk more slowly compared to kids. My grandparents take their time saying things, while my friends and I rattle on a mile a minute! I'm not sure if old people just get used to a slower pace or if it's harder for them to talk fast. Either way, it takes some getting used to when you're a kid with a zippy way of chatting.There's also a big difference in what old and young people like to do for fun. My great-grandparents love watching old movies and shows, reading books, and doing quiet activities like knitting or woodworking. Those kinds of hobbies seem pretty boring to me and my friends! We want to run around outside, play video games, and be active and loud. I guess those high energy activities seem too tiring for really old people.Old people's houses feel different than kids' houses too. There aren't a bunch of toys all over the place, and you have to be really quiet and careful so you don't break any of their fragile decorations and antiques. At home I can be as rowdy as I want without worrying about that stuff! The smells are different too - old people's houses often have gramdma smells like baking and potpourri, while my house just smells like whatever food my mom just cooked.I could probably list a hundred other ways that old and young people are different, like their health issues, their clothing styles, how they use technology, and so on. The most important difference of all to me though is how much I can learn from older people's wisdom and life experience. Sure, we look super different on the outside and have different energy levels and hobbies. But they've lived so much life already and can teach me so many things about the world. I'm lucky to have lots of great older people in my life to learn from. And who knows, maybe when I'm a wrinkly old person myself one day, I'll get to pass on some wisdom to the young folks then too!篇5Certainly! Here's an essay on the differences between the elderly and the young, written from a primary school student's perspective, with a length of around 2000 words in English.Grandma's World and My WorldDo you ever wonder why grandparents and kids seem to live in different worlds? Well, I sure do! My grandma and I are like two peas from totally different pods. We're worlds apart in so many ways, but that's what makes us a fun pair.First off, let's talk about how we look. Grandma's got these cute little wrinkles all over her face, like she's been smilin' her whole life. Me, on the other hand? I'm as smooth as a baby's bottom! Grandma's hair is white as a cloud, while mine's a crazy mess of different colors every week (thanks, Mom!). And let's not even get started on our clothes. Grandma loves her floral dresses and comfy slippers, but you'll catch me rockin' the latest trends from the mall.Speaking of the mall, that's another big difference between us. Grandma thinks malls are these newfangled places where kids just waste their time and money. For me? The mall is like a second home! I could spend hours window shopping, trying on clothes, and dreaming about all the cool stuff I want.Then there's technology. Grandma still uses an ancient flip phone that's older than I am! She gets all confused when I try to show her how to use apps or take selfies. But for me and my friends, our phones are like extra limbs. We're glued to them24/7, snapchatting, tweeting, and keeping up with the latest TikTok trends.But you know what? Despite all our differences, Grandma and I have a special bond. She might not understand my obsession with video games or why I have to wear my hair in a different crazy style every week, but she always listens and tries her best to be supportive. And I love hearing her stories about "the good old days" when she was a kid. It's like getting a glimpse into a whole different world!One thing we definitely agree on is our love for food. Grandma's an amazing cook, and she's always whipping up these delicious homecooked meals that smell amazing. And even though I'm a total pizza and burger kid, I can't resist her famous chocolate chip cookies. We might have different tastes, but we both enjoy a good meal together.At the end of the day, Grandma and I may seem like total opposites, but we're two peas in a pod when it comes to loving and accepting each other's quirks. She's always there to give mea big hug and tell me how proud she is of me, even if she doesn't quite understand my crazy kid ways. And I'm there to keep her company, make her laugh, and maybe even teach her a thing or two about the modern world.So, if you ever feel like your grandparents are from a different planet, just remember: that's what makes them special. They've seen and done things we can only imagine, and they've got a lifetime of wisdom and love to share with us young'uns. And who knows? Maybe in a few decades, we'll be the ones confusing our grandkids with our outdated ways!篇6The Big Differences Between Old and YoungOlder people and younger people are really different in a lot of ways. I've noticed this by watching the older people in my family, like my grandparents, and then my friends at school who are around my age. We act totally different and like different things. Here are some of the biggest differences I've seen:Moving and Energy LevelsOne of the most obvious differences is how slowly older people move and act compared to kids my age. Mygrandparents walk so slowly, taking tiny little steps everywhere they go. Meanwhile, me and my friends are running around full speed, jumping, climbing trees, and being active all day long. We have way more energy than they do.My grandpa especially moves at a snail's pace. He shuffles his feet and hunches over with a cane. In the mornings, he groans and stretches for like 10 minutes before he can get out of bed. But when I wake up, I'm bouncing off the walls with energy right away. I can't imagine moving that slowly.Older people seem to get tired much more easily too. After just a little bit of walking, my grandparents need to stop and catch their breath. They take naps almost every day. Kids my age can run around playing tag or soccer for hours before we finally start slowing down. We have way more stamina and endurance.Interests and ActivitiesThe activities older and younger people like are really different too. My grandparents' favorite activities are low-key things like watching TV, reading books, doing crossword puzzles, and just sitting outside on the porch. Those things bore me to tears! I need activities that are exciting, fast-paced, and get my heart pumping.I love playing sports like baseball and video games that require quick reflexes. My friends and I are totally obsessed with Fortnite andCall of Duty right now. We can play those games for hours on end. But my grandpa doesn't understand the appeal at all. He says they "rotted my brain" and are "a waste of time." To him, sitting in a chair quietly is the ideal activity. No thanks!We also have completely different tastes in entertainment. My grandparents watch old black-and-white movies and listen to old music from when they were young, like Elvis and Frank Sinatra. That stuff puts me to sleep within 5 minutes. I'd way rather watch an action movie with superheroes and cool special effects or listen to hip hop or rock music. Anything with a bit of excitement and energy appeals way more to me than the stuff older people like.Using TechnologyOlder and younger people also use technology in totally different ways. Kids my age were basically born using smartphones, tablets, and computers. We can navigate all the latest apps, websites, and gadgets with ease. It's like second nature to us.But every time I try to help my grandparents use any kind of new technology, they are completely lost and overwhelmed.They can barely even work the TV remote control. Whenever they get a new cell phone or computer, they constantly need my help to do the most basic things. My grandma will call me up saying "I can't send a text message!" or "How do I check my email?" It's kind of hilarious how little they understand about technology.When I'm doing my homework on the computer and quickly shifting between multiple browser windows, apps, and documents, my grandpa is always like "How are you doing that? It's like you're a computer yourself!" But to me, it feels perfectly natural and intuitive. Older people really struggle with a lot of the technology that is second nature to kids these days.Personality and MindsetIn addition to our different behaviors and interests, older and younger people just seem to think about things in really different ways overall. We have pretty opposite mindsets.Most older people I know have a pretty rigid,set-in-their-ways type of mentality. They've had the same habits and routines for decades, and they don't like to deviate much from those patterns. They prefer things to be stable, predictable, and familiar. Change and anything unusual makes them anxious and uncomfortable.But for kids my age, we embrace and crave change, spontaneity, and new experiences. We get bored doing the same things over and over. We're always looking for the latest trends and new adventures to make life more exciting and unpredictable. When things are too routine and repetitive, we get restless quickly.Older people also tend to be more serious, while we kids are more playful and silly. My grandparents rarely laugh or joke around. They get flustered when kids my age are being goofy and not taking things seriously enough in their opinion. But I think laughing and not taking everything so seriously is one key to being a kid! We see the humor in little things that adults wouldn't even notice.Summing It UpSo in a nutshell, older people and younger people's lives look pretty different. We have vastly different energy levels, interests, use of technology, and overall mindsets. I imagine people must go through some pretty big mindset shifts and changes in their behavior as they transition from being a young kid to being an older adult over many decades.For now, I'll just keep embracing my youthful side - running around nonstop, playing video games, using tech like it's secondnature, cracking jokes with my friends, and being spontaneous.I can't imagine living at an old person's snail pace...at least not for a few more decades! But I do wonder, will I eventually turn into a slow, technology-confused, serious old person too? I guess only time will tell!。

为梦想而努力英语演讲稿篇1Students,guests,teachers and Honorable Judges:Good morning!my great pleasure to share my dream with you today.I have kept the dream in my mind for so long that whoever in the sun is able to live a happy life forever.I think this dream is deeply rooted in the future.As we can see,we are now not far away from violence,poverty,diseases,environmental pollution and even wars.Most of people are in need of what they have never enjoyed.However,I still can stick to my inner most dream,as I still can see the bright lights in our future.I believe,there will be a day when those from the rich counties are really willing to share what they have with those from the poor countries;there will be a day when we are surprised to find that the word poverty has long been out of our memories;there will be a day when we are together to share our dreams and we will all contribute to making our common dreams come true.I will not just wait but to take action to live in my dream.为梦想而努力英语演讲稿篇2five score years ago,a great american,in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames ofwithering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of captivity.but one hundred years later,we must face the tragic fact that the negro is still not free. one hundred years later,the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later,the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later,the negro is still languishing in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. so we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition.in a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence,they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life,liberty,and the pursuit of happiness.it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation,america has given the negro people a bad check which has come back marked so we have come to cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of god's children.now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and to underestimate the determination of the negro. this sweltering summer of the negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. nineteen sixty-three is not an end,but a beginning.those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.but there is something that i must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. in the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.we must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must not lead us to distrust of all white people,for many of our white brothers,as evidenced by their presence here today,have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.we cannot walk alone.and as we walk,we must make the pledge that we shall march ahead. we cannot turn back. there arethose who are asking the devotees of civil rights,go back to mississippi,go back to alabama,go back to georgia,go back to louisiana,go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities,knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed. let us not wallow in the valley of despair.i say to you today,my friends,that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment,i still have a dream. it is a dream deeply rooted in the american dream.i have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed:i have a dream that one day on the red hills of georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood.i have a dream that one day even the state of mississippi,a desert state,sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression,will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.i have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.i have a dream today.i have a dream that one day the state of alabama,whose governor's lips are presently dripping with the words of interposition and nullification,will be transformed into a situation where little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with littlewhite boys and white girls and walk together as sisters and brothers. i have a dream today.i have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted,every hill and mountain shall be made low,the rough places will be made plain,and the crooked places will be made straight,and the glory of the lord shall be revealed,and all flesh shall see it together.this is our hope. this is the faith with which i return to the south. with this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. with this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. with this faith we will be able to work together,to pray together,to struggle together,to go to jail together,to stand up for freedom together,knowing that we will be free one day.this will be the day when all of god's children will be able to sing with a new meaning,and if america is to be a great nation this must become true. so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of new hampshire. let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of new york. let freedom ring from the heightening alleghenies of pennsylvania!let freedom ring from the snowcapped rockies of colorado!let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of california!but not only that; let freedom ring from stone mountain of georgia! let freedom ring from lookout mountain of tennessee!let freedom ring from every hill and every molehill of mississippi. from every mountainside,let freedom ring.when we let freedom ring,when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet,from every state and every city,we will be able to speed up that day when all of god's children,black men and white men,jews and gentiles,protestants and catholics,will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old negro spiritual.为梦想而努力英语演讲稿篇3Everyone has a dream, it is everybody yearning.But the manwithout a dream of the life will be empty.But dreams are always with the thought of advance and change.Begin to My name is cheng xiang yan , I am a junior student come from life science institution y, I am very glad to stand here and share w ith you my most sincere speech‘Flying youth, master our future!’Life is a process of growing up. Saying goodbye to childhood, we step into another important time of life in the pace of young, facing new situations, dealing with different problems.....However, who can really say what the youth is ? A period of time? A belief?An attitude to life? Or anything else? actually, everyone has his ownunderstanding of young, it is a period of time of beauty and wonders, only after you have experienced the sour , sweet ,bitter and salty, can you really become a person of significance.Just like A famous poet said ‘ youth is a lovely song ,where nothing is impossible ,youth is a meaningful book, you’ll be never bored of it ;youth is a rapid river ,it keeps on flowing day and night ;youth is a cup of tea ,it shows you different kinds of tastes in your life.As youth is so precious, of course, we must treasure it ’t let the limited time pass by, grasping the young will means a better time is waiting for you in the near future.So,It’s necessary for us to prepare ourselves well for the future to come. having a view on those great men in the historyof hunman being, they all made full use of their youth time to do things that are useful to society, to the whole mankind, and as a consequence ,they are remembered by later generations, admired by everyone. so do something in the time of young, although you may not get achievements as these greatmen did ,though not for the whole world, just for youeself, for those around! So, what should we do when we are young?Here,I’ll point out some tips to help equip ourselves.First of all,think of what you’d like to be some day. A teacher ? A doctor ? A writer?Don’t afraid of dreaming of big and great e you are young , you can dream of doing anything and becoming anyone in the future. What’s more , never ignore the power of knowledge. Read more books and travel around. For one thing, it can increase your knowledge, for another, it’ll broaden your horizon.Last but not the least , stick to your dream. It easier said than done. After all, future is not all roses. young is just like blooming flowers, they are so beautiful when blooming, which make people feel happy, but with time passing by, after they withers ,most people think they are ugly. and so it is the same with young, we are enthusiastic when we are young, then we may lose our passion when getting older and older. So we should have enough courage and determination to overcome all the difficulties in struggling on the road.I firmly be lieve one sentence that‘If you think you can, of course you can!’Just believe we can make it! Keep on walking towards our dream. Flying youth , master our future. From today, from now on , are you Ready ?That’s all. Thank you so much for your attention !为梦想而努力英语演讲稿篇6I enter tile university after years of hard study and preparation(准备). But life in the university is not as satisfactory(满意) as what I had expected. 邀请朋友参加生日会英语作文六年级

给三年后大学毕业的自己写一封信英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Dear Me in the Future,Hey there, it's me – your younger, more naive self from way back in 2020! I'm writing this letter to you from the perspective of my 10-year-old mind. A lot can change in 7 years though, so who knows how different you'll be by the time you're reading this after graduating college. I sure hope you're doing well and liking your job and all that grown-up stuff!Since I'm just a kid, my view of the world is probably pretty simple compared to how you see things now. But I'll do my best to share my thoughts and give you some advice from my10-year-old brain. Maybe you'll get a kick out of remembering how you used to think when you were my age. Or maybe you'll just laugh at how clueless I was about so many things! Either way, here goes nothing...First off, I really hope you're still having fun and being a good person. Those are like the most important things to me right now. I love playing sports, building Lego towers, riding mybike, and pulling pranks on my parents and older siblings. Pretty much anything that lets me run around and use my imagination is an A+ in my book. I just want to be a good kid who brings joy to others and lives life to the fullest, you know?Have you managed to hold onto that sense of playfulness and positivity as an adult? Things can get so serious when you get older from what I've seen. A lot of grown-ups seem pretty stressed out and unhappy a lot of the time. I really hope that's not you though. Work hard, but don't forget to take breaks and smell the roses - or I guess stop and admire the office plants or whatever grown-up version of that you've got going on.Most importantly, please please PLEASE tell me you're still treating others with kindness and respect. I always try my best to be a friend to everyone, share my toys, and stick up for kids who get bullied. Bullying is just about the worst thing a person can do if you ask me. And telling lies is a close second. I really hope my grown-up self has managed to stay truthful and caring after all these years. The world could definitely use more of that!Thinking about the future is pretty mind-boggling when you're 10 years old though, not gonna lie. There's just so much I don't know or understand yet. Like what exactly is it that grown-ups do at these "jobs" they're always going to? And howdoes anyone afford to pay for a house and car and all that expensive stuff? Taxes, mortgages, retirement funds...I've heard my parents use those words but they just sound like gibberish. I certainly have zero clue what any of it means!So I'll be really interested to get your adult perspective: what's the working world really like? Is it super hard or just kind of normal once you get the hang of it? Are you pulling in enough money at your job to get by okay? More than that actually, I really hope you're doing well for yourself and can afford to live comfortably and securely. No one wants to be house-poor and stuck eating rice and beans every night, am I right?What I'm most curious about though is whether you've managed to follow your passions and do something you really love for a career. See, I actually have this dream of becoming a famous artist someday – painting pictures, drawing comic books, or designing super cool video games. Something where I can use my creativity and talents to make awesome things that bring smiles to people's faces. I'd absolutely love it if that's whatyou've ended up doing with your life!But then again, a part of me also wants to be an astronaut and travel to outer space. Or maybe even an astronomer who gets to gaze at galaxies and black holes all day long. That justseems so fascinating and epic! Heck, I've even kind of low-key considered becoming President at certain points so I could try and make the whole world more awesome. Guess I'll have to let you know which of those incredible paths you've managed to take!Although with my less-than-stellar grades, who knows if any of those far-out goals were ever really in the cards. Maybe you're something way more regular like an accountant, computer programmer, teacher, or doctor. Those could be pretty sweet gigs too though, right? An accountant basically gets paid to do math all day and math is kind of fun sometimes. And programmers and teachers get to use their creativeness in cool ways. And doctors get to help save lives which is about the noblest thing I can imagine!No matter what you ended up doing, I just really hope you landed a job where you feel challenged and fulfilled. And that you're getting along okay managing all the other grown-up responsibilities like taking care of a house, paying bills, managing finances, that kind of thing. Does it ever feel overwhelming trying to juggle so many "adult" duties and tasks? Or does it somehow get easier over time once you have more experience?Since we're on the topic of growing up, that also reminds me - please tell me you've managed to find yourself a nice girlfriend or boyfriend along the way! Maybe you're even married with kids now? How crazy would that be?! I like to think my future spouse would be kinda nerdy but cool and super nice to me. Blonde hair, pretty smile, loves video games and cracking dumb jokes as much as I do, you know the drill. Assuming they aren't allergic to cats, it'd be awesome if they're as obsessed with our furry feline friends as I am too!What about your other relationships - are you still close with mom, dad, and our siblings? I really hope so. Family is pretty important to me, even if they can drive me totally bananas sometimes. Oh, and have you managed to hold onto your childhood friendships and make new awesome friends too? Some of my best buddies have been my friends since we were little kids playing together at the park. It'd be awesome if you've managed to stay tight with those same core people into adulthood.Since we're getting so deep here, I guess I'll wrap this up by just saying...well, I hope you're happy. Like genuinely, truly content with yourself and where you're at in life. Not just superficially happy because you have a nice job and live in a coolcity and all that. But happy on a deeper level - feeling peaceful, loved, assured that you're a good person doing meaningful things. You're working hard and achieving while still making time for fun and the people you care most about. You feel passionate and invigorated by your day-to-day life instead of bored or brought down by negativity.Obviously I'm just a 10-year-old kid so I don't fully understand what it really means to be a grown-up yet. But I do know that being a joyful, caring person who follows their heart and surrounds themselves with positivity - that's the greatest gift you could ever give your older self. If future you has managed to check all those boxes after graduating college, then hell yeah, mission accomplished! Make me proud, okay?Miss you already,Your Childhood Self篇2Dear Me in Three Years,Hi, it's me! Your awesome 10-year-old self writing you a letter from the past. I can't believe you're going to be graduating from university soon. That seems SO far away and grown up to me right now. I'm still just a little kid trying to survive elementaryschool! But I wanted to write you this letter to give you some advice and words of wisdom from your adorable younger self before you go out into the real world as a adult.First of all, I hope you're still having lots of fun and being silly sometimes even though you're a grown up. I really hope you didn't become a totally boring grown up who doesn't know how to have a good time anymore. You better still be laughing at dumb jokes, making fart noises, and doing silly dances when nobody is watching. Promise me you'll never stop doing that goofy dance we made up to the Hamster Dance song! Grown ups need to act like kids sometimes to stay young at heart.Speaking of being a kid, I hope you still have your favorite stuffed animal Mr. Snuggles with you when you graduate. Even if it's just tucked away in a box somewhere, don't ever get rid of him! He's been with us through everything - when we were scared of monsters, when we fell off our bike and needed hugs, and all our other biggest life moments so far. Having him with you on your graduation day would be like having a little piece of your childhood there to remind you of how far you've come.I also really hope you became one of those super smart people who is always curious and loves learning new things. You better not be one of those grumpy adults who acts like theyalready know everything and are done learning. That's no fun at all! There's so much amazing stuff to learn about out there in the world. So many interesting facts about space, dinosaurs, video games, you name it. Promise me you'll always stay excited to learn new things every single day, no matter how old you get or how much school you've had. The day you stop learning is the day you stop growing as a person!Have you gone on any awesome adventures or traveled to cool places yet? You better have! The world is such a huge, amazing place with so many cool things to see and do. I hope you've gone on some epic road trips, seen amazing sights, tasted delicious foods, and met lots of new people from different cultures. Maybe you've even studied or worked abroad for a while? That would be so neat! Just don't forget to come back and visit Mom, Dad, and your hometown friends sometimes. We miss you when you're gone!Most importantly, I really hope you're still just a good person when you graduate. I hope you're still kind, caring, funny, curious, hard-working, and a good friend. Those are way more important things than being book smart or having a fancy job. Just be the type of person that your younger self would be proud of, you know? Don't ever stop sticking up for the little guys, using yournice manners, helping others, and seeing the bright side of things. The world can be a little rough, so we could all use more positive people like you used to be.I know this has been a lot of rambling life advice from a10-year-old, but I'm wise beyond my years, ok? I just want you to stay true to yourself and your roots even after all you're going to learn and experience over the next few years. Don't let growing up change the good core parts of who you are. You're going to do amazing things, I just know it! But you've also gotta promise to still be my silly, curious, caring, adventurous pal deep down inside, no matter what.Well, that's all the Words of Wisdom from Young You for now. This letter is getting pretty long anyway. You probably need a break from hearing your own inner child rambling at you, huh? Just keep making me proud, Me! I believe in you!Love,Your 10-Year-Old SelfP.S. If you haven't had a snack pack pudding cup in awhile, you better go treat yourself to one of those delicious little cups of heaven ASAP! You're never too old for those!篇3Dear Future Me,Hey, it's me, your younger self from 3rd grade! I'm writing this letter to you because Mom said I should. She told me that you just graduated from university and are about to start your grown-up life. Wow, that must be really exciting! I can't even imagine being that old.I have so many questions about what life is like when you're that age. Do you still have to go to school every day? I really hope not, because I'm already getting pretty tired of it. The schoolwork is okay I guess, but I definitely don't like having to wake up so early. Please tell me you get to sleep in as late as you want!What kind of job do you have? I'm really hoping it's something super cool, like a race car driver or an astronaut. Those would be the best jobs ever! If you're not doing either of those though, I really hope you're at least making a lot of money. That way you can buy all the video games, toys, and candy that you want without Mom yelling at you.Speaking of Mom, is she still nagging you about everything?I feel like that's pretty much all she does with me lately. "Clean your room!", "Do your homework!", "Stop jumping on the couch!" It's really annoying. I'll be so happy when I'm older andshe can't boss me around anymore. Let me know if you've finally gotten her off your back!Have you gotten married yet? Mom is always going on about how she can't wait for me to find a nice girl and get married one day. That sounds pretty gross if you ask me. Why would I ever want to live with a girl? They're loud, annoying, and have cooties! Hopefully you've come to your senses and are still a single bachelor living the dream.Has technology gotten really advanced and futuristic like in the movies? It's 2021 right now, and our smartphones and tablets are pretty cool I guess. But I'm talking about real future stuff like flying cars, robot butlers, and hologram video games! If those kinds of things don't exist yet in your time, you better start inventing them. A kid can dream, right?I probably shouldn't be saying this, but I'm pretty worried that my future self is going to be a total dork. No offense, but I have a hard time imagining myself as a mature, responsible adult. I'm just a goofy kid who loves games, sleepovers, and pulling pranks on his parents. Hopefully at least some of that fun-loving spirit is still alive in there!Well, I guess that's all the questions I have for now. Just to wrap things up, here are a few friendly reminders from your favorite third-grader:Never stop playing video games, no matter how old you get.Don't work too hard! Make sure to take lots of naps and recess breaks.If you ever get bullied, just hit the bully really hard. That's what I do and it works!Eat pizza, ice cream, and candy every single day. That's the key to a long life.Most importantly, don't grow up to be lame! Stay silly, have fun, and get into as much mischief as possible.I'll let you go now. But I can't wait to hear back about how amazingly awesome (or potentially lame) my future life is!Your Favorite Buddy,8-Year-Old You。

古典音乐比流行音乐好的英语作文80词全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Classical Music is Way Cooler Than Pop Music!Hey guys! Have you ever listened to classical music? I know, I know, it's supposed to be super boring and just a bunch of old dead guys playing violins and stuff. But trust me, classical music is actually way cooler than the pop songs you hear on the radio all the time.First of all, the composers who wrote classical pieces were like, geniuses or something. Have you ever tried to write a whole symphony? It's insanely hard! Guys like Mozart and Beethoven could just hear all these crazy melodies and harmonies in their heads and then write them down as musical scores. And the music they created is so beautiful and complex. Pop songs these days are so simple and repetitive in comparison.Speaking of repetitive, that's one of the biggest problems I have with pop music. The songs all sound exactly the same! It's just the same four chords over and over again. Boring! Classical pieces are always changing and evolving. The melodies go allover the place. The rhythms get really fast and intense sometimes. Other times things slow down and get pretty and delicate. There's so much variety!And you want to know what else is cool about classical music?A lot of it tells a whole story without any words at all! Like Beethoven's Sixth Symphony is describing this peaceful walk in the countryside. First you hear the birds cheerfully singing as the morning begins. Then there's a thunderstorm. After the storm passes, there's a beautiful melody representing the thankful feeling people have after making it through. Isn't that awesome? Pop songs are usually just about falling in love or whatever.I could go on and on about why classical music is the best. The different instruments all blending together into this incredible tapestry of sound. The passion and emotion the composers put into every note. How classical musicians have to train for years and years to get that good at playing. It's all so amazing to me.But I get篇2Classical Music is Way Cooler Than Pop Music!Hi! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about why classical music is so much better than the pop music my sister listens to. Get ready, because I've got a lot to say!First of all, classical music has been around for a really, really long time. I'm talking hundreds of years! The first composers like Bach and Beethoven were making classical tunes way back when people still thought the earth was flat and wore those silly powdered wigs. Pop music hasn't been around for nearly as long. It only started getting popular in the 1950s with rock n' roll. That's practically yesterday compared to classical!Since classical music has been around so long, it's had more time to get really good and complicated. The composers who made it put a ton of effort into making their music sound perfect. They used really fancy techniques and music math stuff that's too hard for me to understand. But I can tell it makes the music sound epic and powerful. Pop songs are so simple in comparison. They're just the same few chords over and over again with basic lyrics. Booooring!Speaking of lyrics, classical music doesn't even need words to be awesome. The melodies and harmonies are the real stars. They can make you feel happy, sad, scared, or pumped upwithout saying a single word. Crazy, right? Pop songs need the words to get their meaning across. But words are just one part of music. Classical composers are able to make music that's a full experience using only instruments. That's real talent if you ask me.Another thing I love about classical music is how different each composer's style was. Bach didn't sound anything like Mozart who didn't sound anything like Tchaikovsky. They all had their own unique vibes that make their music easy to tell apart. Can you really say that about pop artists today? A lot of them are blending together and making the same generic-sounding stuff if you ask me. I can't tell half of those pop groups apart!Finally, I think classical music is way classier and more sophisticated than disposable pop songs. Think about it - you'd never hear classical playing at a shopping mall or fast food joint. It's reserved for fancy things like ballet, operas, and schmancy restaurants. That's because it's going for a more cultured, elegant atmosphere. Pop music, on the other hand, seems to be everywhere because it's easier for the masses to digest. Classical music makes you feel classy and smart for listening to it. What does pop music make you feel? Not much besides hyped up or lazy depending on the song.So those are all the reasons why I think classical music trumps pop music by a long shot. It's got hundreds of years of history and skill behind it. The compositions are super intricate and emotional masterpieces. Every composer had their own signature flavor. And overall, it's just a much more highbrow, cultured experience.I'm not saying pop music is all bad. I'll rock out to some Pop Punk every now and then if the mood strikes me. But if I really want to vibe with some high-quality auditory craftsmanship, you better believe I'm throwing on one of my classical vinyl records. The Renaissance guys and Romantic fellas just had a way with music that modern pop stars can't touch in my book.Anyway, that's my hot take! Let me know if you agree or if you think I'm just a pretentious little classical music snob. I'm always happy to debate...just as long as you bring some actual facts to the argument instead of claiming the Black Eyed Peas are better than Beethoven. Cause if you do that, I'm going to have to laughatcha!篇3Classical Music is Way Cooler Than Pop Music!Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about why classical music is so much better than the pop songs you hear on the radio. Get ready, because I've got a ton of great reasons that are going to blow your mind!First off, classical music has been around for like, a billion years. Okay maybe not a billion, but it's pretty darn old! The earliest music that still exists today was written wayyyy back in the Medieval times, can you believe that? We're talking monks and castles and everything! How cool is that? Pop music is extremely new compared to that. Most of the pop songs you hear were just written in the past few years. Classical beats pop in the age category, no doubt about it.But it's not just about being old. Classical music is also wayyyyy more complex and intricate than modern pop. Have you ever really listened to a classical piece before? I'm talking like, actually sat down and focused on all the different instruments and how the melodies intertwine? It's mind-blowing! There can beviolins, violas, cellos, clarinets, flutes, French horns, and so many other instruments all playing different but complementary parts. The composers who created these pieces were straight up geniuses. Pop songs tend to just have a simple beat, vocals,maybe a guitar or some synths. It's not nearly as rich and textured as an orchestra performance.Speaking of the composers, we have to give them some major kudos too. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a certified child prodigy who wrote his first symphony when he was just 8 years old! How crazy is that? Could you imagine writing something so complex at 8? I can barely tie my shoes at that age! Beethoven composed some of his most famous works while going completely deaf. Joseph Haydn literally created the model for the modern symphony. These were true masters of their craft. Compare that to a lot of pop stars who don't even write their own songs! No offense to pop stars, but the skill level isn't really comparable.The stories and emotions behind classical pieces are also so much richer than pop songs in my opinion. Take Beethoven's 6th Symphony for example - it's this sprawling, evocative portrait of nature and the countryside. As you listen to each movement, you can vividly imagine sitting in a meadow, watching a storm roll in, enjoying a celebration in the village. It paints such a clear picture!A lot of pop songs are just about very surface-level stuff like relationships and parties. Been there, done that! I want music that makes me feel something profound.Finally, I'd argue that appreciating classical music actually makes you smarter. Yeah, for real! There have been studies that show listening to classical as a young person can help with spatial reasoning, language development, and overall test scores. The complexity of the music works out your brain in a way that pop can't. It's like a workout for your mind! Who doesn't want to be smarter?Those are just a few of the reasons why I think classical music trumps pop any day of the week. Of course, everyone has different tastes which is totally cool. If you just want to bop around to the latest Top 40 hits, more power to you! But if you really want to experience the depth, richness, and genius of true musical masterpieces, give those old classical joints a listen. You might just have your mind blown!篇4Classical Music is Way Cooler Than Pop Music!You know what's really awesome? Classical music! I know, I know, you're probably thinking "Classical music is just a bunch of old, boring songs." But trust me, it's actually super cool and way better than pop music.First of all, classical music has been around for like, a gazillion years. Okay, maybe not a gazillion, but it's really old. Some of the most famous composers like Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach were writing classical music hundreds of years ago! Can you imagine writing songs that people would still be listening to hundreds of years later? That's so epic!Pop music, on the other hand, comes and goes. One year everyone is obsessed with one pop star, and the next year they're already forgotten. But classical music? It never goes out of style. People have been enjoying the same pieces for centuries!Speaking of pieces, classical music is just so much more complex and interesting than pop music. Pop songs are usually just the same few chords repeated over and over again with some lyrics about love or breakups. Booooring! Classical pieces have all sorts of different melodies, harmonies, and instruments woven together. It's like a big, magical tapestry of sound!And don't even get me started on the instruments! The violin, the cello, the French horn – they're all so beautiful and make such rich, gorgeous sounds. Pop music is mostly just singers, drums, and electric guitars. Where's the fun in that?Another cool thing about classical music is that there are all different kinds. You've got symphonies, concertos, operas,ballets – the list goes on and on! There's something for everyone's taste. If you get bored with one style, you can just switch to another. It never gets old.Plus, classical concerts are a real experience. The musicians are all dressed up, the halls are beautiful and grand, and the audience is totally focused on the music. It's nothing like a pop concert where everyone is just jumping around and screaming the whole time. Don't get me wrong, I like to have fun too, but classical shows are more like an event that you really get to appreciate.I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. Classical music is interesting, beautiful, timeless, and altogether much cooler than basic pop music. Honestly, just thinking about it makes me want to listen to a groovy concerto right now!So next time you're about to listen to the latestchart-topping pop song for the millionth time, why don't you shake things up and try out a classical piece instead? You might just discover your new favorite genre of music. Trust me, it's worth giving it a chance – classical music is where it's at!篇5Classical Music is Way Cooler Than Pop MusicHave you ever listened to a really awesome piece of classical music? It's so much better than the pop songs you hear on the radio all the time. Let me tell you why classical music totally rocks!First of all, classical music has been around for centuries and centuries. Composers like Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach were geniuses who created masterpieces that have stood the test of time. Pop music comes and goes, with new songs getting popular for a little while before being forgotten. But people still love listening to classical works hundreds of years after they were written!Classical music is also way more complex and intricate than pop tunes. The melodies intertwine, the rhythms shift, and the dynamics build to incredible climaxes. Pop songs are so repetitive and simple in comparison. They're catchy at first but then get really boring after you've heard the same four chords over and over.And the instruments! A full orchestra with strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion creates such a rich tapestry of sound. There are so many layers and colors. An electric guitar, bass, and drum set in a rock band seem kind of dull andone-dimensional next to that.Speaking of instruments, have you seen some of the crazy ones they have in the orchestra? There's this big towering harp, these things called tympani that are basically just massive kettle drums, and even instruments like the piccolo that looks like a tiny oboe. How cool is that? Way more exciting than the basic guitar-bass-drums setup.The musicians who play classical music are super talented too. They have to train for years and years, practicing incredibly difficult pieces over and over until they can play them perfectly. Pop stars might be really good singers, but a lot of their singing gets edited and auto-tuned anyway. Classical performers are the real deal.And you know how most pop songs are basically just about love and heartbreak? Snooze fest! Classical pieces tell epic stories without any words at all. They can make you feel powerful emotions like joy, sadness, fear, and triumph through the music alone. A good symphony is like going on a musical journey.One of the best things about classical music is that there's so much variety. There are huge majestic symphonies, delicate solo piano pieces, soaring operatic vocals, and so much more. You'll never get bored exploring all the incredible music created over hundreds of years by brilliant composers.Because it's so timeless and skillfully composed, listening to classical music actually makes you smarter too! It helps develop your brain and makes you a better student. You'll be calmer, more focused, and able to think through problems more easily. That beats zoning out to mindless pop any day.Finally, classical concerts are just classy events. You get to dress up, sit in a beautiful concert hall, and be transported to another place by the musical performance. Going to a pop concert is nice too, but it's mostly just jumping around with a bunch of sweaty people. No thanks!So in conclusion, classical music wins hands-down over disposable pop tunes. Its brilliance, variety, skill, and staying power put it in a league of its own. Don't be a sheep blindly following whatever's on the radio! Branch out and start exploring the amazing world of classical music. You'll be cultured, brainy, and way cooler than everyone who hasn't discovered it yet.篇6Classical Music is Way Cooler Than Pop Music!You know what's really cool? Classical music! I know a lot of kids my age think it's boring and lame, but I think it's the coolesttype of music ever. Way better than the pop stuff on the radio these days. Let me tell you why!First of all, classical music has been around for like, forever. We're talking hundreds of years! The first classical composers started writing their pieces way back in the 1600s. Can you imagine? That's so long ago! Pop music has only been around for a few decades. Classical music is like this wise old grandpa with centuries of knowledge and experience. How cool is that?And the composers who created classical music were total geniuses. We're talking about legends like Mozart, Beethoven, Bach. These guys were smarter than anyone could imagine. Have you seen those crazy wigs they used to wear? So fancy! They could compose entire operas and symphonies in their heads without even writing anything down. I can barely write a paragraph without getting a headache. These classical dudes were on another level.Speaking of operas and symphonies, the actual classical pieces themselves are like epic adventures. They tell these dramatic stories through the different melodies and harmonies. The music builds up to these enormous climaxes with a billion instruments playing at once. It's like a high-octane action movie but just with sound! Have you ever really listened to Beethoven's5th Symphony? That opening rhythm is so intense. Dum dum dum DUUUUUM! It gets my heart pumping every time.Pop songs are like the same three chords over and over again. Verse, chorus, verse, chorus, done. Boring city! Classical pieces are these rich tapestries woven together from countless themes and motifs. There are all these different sections that transition into each other seamlessly. The music is constantly evolving and transforming into new shapes. It takes you on a real journey through all the ups and downs and unexpected twists. Honestly, some pop songs feel like they're over before they even start.And let's talk about the instruments! An orchestra is basically a massive lineup of superstar soloists playing together. You've got these vocal virtuosos leading the charge on violin and cello. Backed up by the brass section which is like having heavy metal guitarists blasting riff after riff. Then you've got the thunderous timpani pounding away like a team of pro drummers. Dude, I get chills just thinking about it! What instruments do pop singers have? Maybe some sad keyboard plinks if they're lucky.I'm not saying pop music is all bad. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a catchy little tune to bop my head to. But let's be real, it doesn't have a thousandth of the creativity, skill, and puremusical genius as the classical masterpieces. If aliens landed on earth and asked to listen to our greatest cultural achievements, you wouldn't play them "Old Town Road" or whatever. You'd obviously go for something written by one of the OG musical superminds like Bach or Brahms.At the end of the day, classical music is a genre for people who truly appreciate art at the highest level. It's sophisticated, expressive, and stimulates both the mind and the soul. It makes you feel things on a deeper level than any pop song could ever dream of. Kids might think it's outdated or stuffy now, but just wait until they really start to understand it. Classical music is timeless. It's going to be around for centuries after all the Top 40 hits of today have faded from memory.So yeah, you can keep your simple, repetitive little pop ditties. Me? I'll be listening to the majestic,emotionally-transcendent musical masterworks of the immortal classical gods. That's what real music is all about!。

男人不是很注意自己外貌的原因英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Why Do Men Not Care About Their Looks?Have you ever noticed that boys and men don't seem to care about how they look as much as girls and women do? My dad leaves the house with wrinkled clothes and messy hair all the time! And my big brother never brushes his hair or wears anything besides t-shirts and shorts. It's like they don't even try to look nice. I've been wondering why that is, so I asked some of my friends and this is what I think the reasons are:They Don't Get Judged As MuchI think one big reason guys don't put a lot of effort into their appearance is because they don't get judged on their looks as much as girls do. In movies, TV shows, magazines, everywhere you look - girls and women are shown as having to be really pretty and well-dressed. But you don't see that pressure on guys nearly as much. So they probably figure it just doesn't matter that much how they look.Society Expects ItGoing along with that first point, I think society kind of expects and accepts guys not caring too much about fashion and grooming. If a boy goes to school with messy hair and a stained shirt, nobody really says anything. But if a girl looks bad, people might make fun of her for it. Society puts a lot more pressure on girls to look perfect all the time.They're LazyAnother reason might just be that guys are lazier than girls when it comes to their appearance! Taking the time to pick out a nice outfit, style your hair, put on makeup - that all takes work. And a lot of guys probably think "Why bother with all that?" It's way easier to just throw on a t-shirt and pants and head out the door.They Want to Seem ToughThis one might be a little silly, but I wonder if some guys think caring too much about how they look might make them seem girly or not tough enough. Like getting a manicure or wearing stylish clothes is something only girls should do. A lot of boys act really casual about their looks because they want to seem tough and manly instead of worrying about being fashionable.Sports and PlayingOkay, here's another reason I can think of: a lot of guys and boys are way more interested in playing sports or video games than worrying about clothes and hairstyles. When I see my brother and his friends, they're always outside playing basketball or soccer, or inside playing Xbox. They just want to run around and get sweaty and have fun without stressing about messing up their hair or getting their clothes dirty.Parents Don't Push ItMaybe another factor is that parents don't encourage their sons to care about fashion and looking nice the same way they might with their daughters. I know my mom is always buying my sister new dresses and doing her hair, but she never does anything like that for my brother. Perhaps if more parents raised their sons to value their appearance, then guys would care more as adults.It's Not Their PriorityAt the end of the day, I think the main reason guys don't put much effort into their looks is because it's just not that big of a priority for most of them. They tend to care more about other things like sports, video games, hanging out with friends,working hard at their job, etc. As long as they're clean and wearing basic clothes, simply looking presentable is good enough.So those are some of the reasons I can think of for why boys and men seem so indifferent about fashion and grooming compared to girls and women. It's probably a mix of societies expectations, their interests and priorities, and maybe a little laziness too! But who knows, maybe things will change over time and guys will start caring more about their appearance. Or maybe not - maybe most men will just continue rolling out of bed and heading out into the world without fretting too much about how they look. As long as they're happy and confident, does it really matter?篇2Why Guys Don't Really Care About Looking GoodHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm going to tell you all about why boys and men usually don't pay much attention to their looks. It might seem kind of weird since girls and women always seem to be putting on makeup, doing their hair, and picking out nice outfits. But for most guys, looking good just isn't that big of a deal. Let me explain why!First of all, guys are just kind of simple when it comes to appearance stuff. We don't really get very excited about things like new hairstyles, trendy clothes, or cosmetics. A lot of my guy friends basically wear the same handful of t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers every day. As long as their clothes are comfortable and not falling apart, they're happy!Grown-up men are the same way. My dad basically has one haircut that he gets every few weeks - nothing fancy, just short and easy. And he has worked at the same office for years wearing a shirt, tie, and pants. Boring! But he says he doesn't have to think about what to wear, which is exactly how he likes it.I think another reason guys care less about appearances is that we aren't judged on our looks as much as girls are. Starting from a very young age, girls hear a lot of comments about their hair, clothes, shoes, and all that stuff. But with boys, nobody really pays much attention unless we look really sloppy or dirty.My best friend Jake is a perfect example. He comes to school with wrinkly shirts, messy hair, and stains on his clothes all the time. But nobody bugs him about it because he's a boy and that's just seen as normal "boy" behavior. If a girl looked that messy, I bet she would get teased about it.Now don't get me wrong, there are definitely some guys out there who do put a lot of work into their appearance. But they are usually the except ion, not the rule. Most dudes seem perfectly fine just throwing on whatever is clean and not worrying too much about primping or glamming it up.I have an older cousin named Kyle who is like that - he is always fixing his hair, getting haircuts at fancy places, and updating his wardrobe with the latest fashions. Whenever I'm around him, he's constantly checking himself out in the mirror or messing with his clothes. It just seems like SO much work to me!Kyle says that "looking fresh" helps him feel more confident and get attention from girls. And I get that working on your looks probably does help some guys stand out, especially in certain friend groups or careers. But for your average dude, putting a ton of time and effort into appearance stuff just doesn't seem worth it.I mean, think about it - when was the last time you heard a bunch of guys really going on and on about someone's shoes or hairstyle? It pretty much never happens! Guys just aren't that observant or obsessed with those kinds of details. We're more interested in stuff like sports, video games, cracking jokes with our friends, you know...guy stuff!At the end of the day, I think most boys and men have this mindset of "As long as I don't look or smell totally gross, I'm good." We aren't really motivated to impress people with our fashion sense or grooming routines. Guys figure that people should like us for who we are as people, not just how we look on the outside.Now again, there are absolutely some guys out there who buck this trend and put a lot of care into their personal style. But typically, those dudes are either:A) Trying really hard to get a girlfriendB) Are just naturally gifted at looking fresh orC) Work in an industry like modeling, acting, or something else where looks are emphasisedBut for your regular, everyday guy? We just don't think too much about that kind of stuff. Trying to look cool or sexy all the time just isn't one of our main priorities in life.I guess you could say guys have this mentality of "I'll look how I want, and if you don't like it, that's your problem!" We feel like we shouldn't have to completely transform our personal style just to impress others or fit in. If people judge us only basedon our outward appearance, then maybe those aren't the types of people we want in our lives anyway.Obviously, there's nothing wrong with a guy who does enjoy experimenting with fashion or grooming as a way to express himself. But typically, dudes just aren't going to be quite as high-maintenance about that stuff compared to a lot of girls and women.At the end of the day, I think it really comes down to society putting a lot more pressure on females to look a certain way. Guys deal with fewer expectations and criticisms, so we can be a little more laidback and casual. Does that make sense?Well, those are my thoughts on the whole "guys and appearances" thing! I tried to explain it as best I could from a kid's perspective. Let me know if you have any other questions! It's kind of a weird topic, but I guess it's just how most of us guys are wired. Thanks for reading, and remember - it's what's on the inside that counts!篇3Why Men Don't Care About Looking GoodHi, my name is Johnny and I'm in 5th grade. Today I want to talk about why men often don't seem to care too much abouttheir looks and appearance. I've noticed this with my dad, my uncles, and other grown men. They don't spend much time getting ready or worrying about clothes and grooming like my mom and aunts do. I think there are a few reasons for this.First of all, I think it's because men are just built differently than women, at least when it comes to their minds. My dad always says "men are simple creatures" and I kind of get what he means. We don't tend to get as excited or obsessed over little things like new hairstyles, fashion trends, or makeup. Those kinds of things just don't seem very important to us.Instead, men care more about stuff like sports, cars, video games, and watching TV. At least that's how it seems to me and my friends. When we're hanging out, we're not talking about if someone's shoes look cool or not. We're too busy playing basketball, building forts, or watching superhero movies to even think about that kind of stuff.Another reason I think men don't pay much attention to their looks is because they don't get judged or treated differently based on appearance as much as women do. At least that's what I've noticed. My aunts are always stressing about looking nice for events or parties because they think people will judge them iftheir hair or outfit isn't perfect. But my uncles just throw on some basic clothes and no one seems to care.It's kind of like men have this built-in privilege or freedom to not have to worry so much about impressing people with their looks. Their value just isn't tied to their appearance as much. Maybe that's an old-fashioned way of thinking, but it does seem true in my experience.I also wonder if men don't focus on looks because they know other men aren't paying close attention either. It's like there's this unspoken guy rule that looks and fashion don't matter that much, so why waste too much time on it? As long as you shower regularly and don't look totally sloppy, you're good.The flipside though is that I know a lot of men do want to look attractive...they just go about it in a more low-key way. Like they'll buy nice shoes, get a fresh haircut, or wear stylish underwear and undershirts where only they know. It's a more private, subdued way of caring about looks compared to how some women go all-out with makeup, jewelry, hair, etc.At the end of the day, I don't really know the full reasons why men think and act differently than women when it comes to appearances. Maybe it's biological, or just ingrained by society and culture over time. All I know is that from what I've seen, mostadult men seem completely content not being too concerned with looking flawless or on-trend all the time.They're comfortable just being low-maintenance and keeping things simple with their grooming and fashion. I'm sure that will change for me and my guy friends once we get older and start really caring about impressing girls. But for now, weirdo haircut and grass-stained clothes? No problem! We're just naive kids being naive kids. Who has time to worry about keeping everything looks-neat-and-tidy when there's so much adventuring and fun to be had?篇4Why Don't Men Care About Their Looks?Have you ever noticed that most boys and men don't really seem to care that much about how they look? It's like they just roll out of bed, throw on any old clothes, and head out the door without even checking a mirror! Girls and women put a lot more time and effort into their hair, makeup, and outfits. But why is that? Why don't guys bother as much with their appearance? Let me tell you what I think as a 4th grader who has been observing this weird difference between boys and girls.First of all, I think it's just how boys are raised from a really young age. When you're a little kid, the boys and the girls often get treated a bit differently by parents, teachers, and the shows and movies we all watch. Little girls are given dolls to take care of and play mom with. They get toy makeup kits and plastic high heels. The boy toys are more like action figures, cars, and sports stuff. So right from the start, girls are sort of trained to care about appearance while boys aren't really taught that it matters much.Then as boys get older, there's a lot of pressure to be tough and not show feelings or worry about superficial stuff like how you look. If a boy gets too concerned about his hair or clothes, he'll get teased by other boys for being a sissy or girly. Nobody wants to be made fun of like that, so most guys just learn to not put much effort into their appearance in order to fit in better.video games and sports are way more important to most boys than fashion or grooming. We'd all much rather be outside playing basketball or inside playing the newest Xbox game than sitting around putting on makeup or doing our nails. Grooming and glamour is just seen as a total waste of time for a guy. It holds zero interest compared to the stuff we really care about.Another reason guys are less focused on appearance is that it doesn't seem to matter as much for attracting girls. At least not as much as it matters for girls attracting guys. Guys are more visually focused, so a girl's appearance is like the number one thing that gets our attention. But girls don't seem to care nearly as much what a guy looks like compared to other traits like personality, humor, confidence, etc. So why would a guy put crazy effort into his looks if it doesn't help that much with impressing girls anyway?Our bodies are also just built differently than girls. Guys don't really have as much to work with when it comes to glamming up our appearance. We don't have long luxurious hair to style, we can't wear makeup, and most clothes don't look as good or feminine on our bigger frames and builds. So even if a guy wanted to put more effort into his looks, the options are much more limited for what he can do compared to a girl.At the end of the day, I think guys in general are just less interested in and pay way less attention to appearance and fashion because of society, interests, pressure to be masculine, biology, and what seems to attract the opposite sex. It's just not as valuable or important to most guys compared to other guy stuff. We'll straighten up and look nice if we have to for a fancyevent or whatever, but the rest of the time, dos just aren't too worried about it. And truthfully, a lot of us guys are probably a bit jealous of how good girls are at that stuff!篇5Why Don't Men Care About Looking Good?Have you ever noticed that most boys and men don't seem to care too much about their looks? They just throw on whatever clothes they can find and head out the door. Meanwhile, a lot of girls and women spend lots of time getting ready, putting on makeup, and making sure their hair and outfit look just right. Why is that? Let me tell you what I think!First of all, I think men just aren't taught from a young age that their appearance is very important like girls are. Little girls get dolls, makeup kits, and all sorts of girly things that show them it's good to look pretty. But little boys get toy cars, action figures, and video games instead. Nobody is telling them they need to look nice and fashionable.My dad is a good example. He has about three pairs of jeans, some t-shirts, and a couple button-down shirts for work or going out somewhere nice. That's pretty much his whole wardrobe! He says as long as his clothes are clean and not falling apart, he'shappy. My mom is always trying to get him to buy some new stuff, but he just doesn't seem to care.I think another reason guys don't put much effort into their looks is that they don't like spending a lot of time getting ready. My brother takes about 10 minutes tops to get dressed and ready to go in the morning. But my sister spends like an hour picking out an outfit, doing her hair, putting on makeup and accessories. By the time she's ready, my brother and I have been waiting forever!Guys would much rather use that time for other stuff they enjoy more like playing video games, watching TV, or hanging out with friends. All that primping and preening in front of the mirror seems like a huge waste of time to them. As long as they look okay and don't smell bad, that's good enough in their book.Some people say that boys and men are just naturally less concerned with their outward appearance than girls and women. Like looking good isn't wired into their brains the same way. I'm not sure if that's totally true or not. After all, my uncle is super into fashion and is always dressed really nicely. But I do think society expects it more from women and barely encourages it at all for men.Another idea is that women put more effort into their looks because they're always trying to impress and attract men. But I'm way too young to get into all that relationship stuff! What do I know about women trying to find boyfriends or husbands? I'll leave that topic for when I'm older.The point is, most guys I know just aren't very focused on fashion, grooming, or trying to look super stylish and made up all the time. They seem to think it's no big deal as long as they don't look totally sloppy or gross. Personally, I'm kind of in the middle - I care a little bit, but not too much about my appearance. I'll take a quick look in the mirror before leaving home but that's about it.I don't think there's anything wrong with guys not prioritizing looks. As long as they practice basic hygiene like showering, wearing clean clothes, and brushing their teeth, that's the important thing in my book. If they happen to look handsome too, great! But if not, no biggie. Guys just seem to be wired a little differently and that's okay. To each their own, I say!Those are my thoughts anyways. Maybe when I'm a teenager or an adult, I'll start caring more about my appearance. But for now, I'm just a kid who loves rocking t-shirts with my favorite video game characters on them. Hey, at least I make sure tochange into clean ones every day! Baby steps, right? Looking good isn't that high on my priority list, and I don't think it is for most boys either. We've got more important stuff to do...like having fun!。

Thus, it is important for us to promote a low-carbon lifestyle.Low-carbon lifestyle covers many aspect of our life like transportation, traveling, home-heating, and so on. In order to promote a low-carbon life, some plans must be carried out as follows. Firstly, don’t waste any electricity and water. Remember to turn off the lights and water taps unless we use them. Secondly, we had better take the subways or bus to work, so as to reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide. Thirdly, we should use cloth bags for shopping instead of plastic bags, and use recyclable bowls and chopsticks instead of disposable ones, for it can not only save resources, but also reduce pollution. What’s more, it is of great significance to plant more trees, since trees can balance the carbon dioxide emissions.In a word, if we live a low-carbon life from now on, we will have a better environment and more resources left for our descendants.如今我们面临着两大环境问题:全球变暖和自然资源匮乏,且情况日益严重。

There are usually four people or more in a room. It’s b etter to have a unified schedule. To maintain the order of the life, everyone should coordinate and abide by the schedule to reduce the disputes.Secondly, don’t make little “squads” in the dormitory. You should treat every person equally rather than discriminating or isolating someone. We object to establish deep friendship under the cost of sacrificing the friendship’s width and breadth. It’s important to keep balance in the dormitory.Thirdly, don't invade your roommates' privacy. Everyone has their own secrets and eccentricities. We should not search roommates' privacy. I live in 2110.We seven boys share the dormitory 2110. Every morning we get up at 6 o’clock. Sometimes one or two boys may wake up a little later. After washing, we go to the playground to do morning exercise.At night, after the self-teaching classes, we go back to the dormitory. Some roommates enjoy singing loudly before the lights go out, some enjoy sharing their snacks and drinks with others, some go to bed early, and others read books or listen to the pop music late. We often tell jokes in the dormitory. The room is always full of cheers and laughter.On the evening of , the Chinese national football team got their place in the World Cup. It’s the first time for our Chinese team. The Chinese people have dreamed of it for 44 years. Though the light was out we jumped up and down and shouted: “We are the winner! We are the winner!” At the very moment, “Bang! Bang! Bang!” We heard the noises of knocking at the door and a teacher shouted:“ Don’t be so excited. Go to sleep now.” So we dared not make any noise. We even smiled in our dreams that night.宿舍生活的英语作文篇4Dormitory life is an indispensable part of college life. As for me, I would like to make friends in the real life rather than make friends online. Firstly, it is a waste of time to spend too much time in chatting online, and we have no enough time in studying.What’s worse, it does great harm to our health. Secondly the Internet is virtual, and there are all kinds of people in the virtual world. We are likely to be cheated. As a consequence, it will do damage to our property and emotion. Last but not the least, the over-reliance on it will bring about psychological problems. For one thing, we will ignore our real parents and friends. Actually, we are becoming lonely. For another, we may avoid facing the fact. In a word, I don’t think that it is wise to make friends online. As an old saying goes great minds think alike, friends are the people who share happy and sorrow with you, not only chat.宿舍生活的英语作文篇6I have many friends, but one of them I like the most. We became friends since I began to go to school. He is gentle, but looks serious. He knows everything and studies nearly all the languages spoken by mankind. Moreover, his memory is remarkable. He remembers whatever has happened in the world.He is also a great teacher. He has taught thousands of young men. Therefore he has been and is known to everybody.He is my best teacher as well as my best friend. At first he taught me Chinese. When I was fifteen years of age, he began to teach me English and some sciences. This year he teaches me a new language called French.He is a patient man. Stupid as I am, he is never tired of teaching me. He continues to teach me until I am perfectly familiar with my lessons. His name is book, and he is most people’s friend. We become excellent and release our dream because of him.宿舍生活的英语作文篇7Would you like to live in school? We had a survey about it and heres the result. Most students prefer to live in schoo l because they find it convenient to communicate with their classmates. For example, they must depend on themselves to get up in the morning on time for class and to set aside an appropriate amount of time for study and relaxation.Some people believe there are more advantages about dormitory life. In a dormitory, on the one hand, students have more chances to communicate with and learn from each other. On the other hand, students have a great deal more freedom than they might have at home. They can act according to their own will rather than to that of parents'. But some others disagree. They think dormitory rooms are often small and crowded. This lack of space can limit one's privacy and make it difficult for students to be engaged in their studies.In general, there are both sunshine and shadow about life instudent dormitory. Whether they like it or not, most students have to face the reality of living with others.。

P(B|A)=P(AB)/P(A)为在事件A发生的条件下事件B发生的条件概率。

相关公式:乘法公式 P(XYZ)=P(Z|XY)P(Y|X)P(X)全概率公式 P(X)=P(X|Y1)+ P(X|Y2)+…+ P(X|Yn)贝叶斯公式:如上所示,其中P(A|B)是在B发生的情况下A发生的可能性。

在贝叶斯定理中,每个名词都有约定俗成的名称:P(A)是A的先验概率或边缘概率。

之所以称为"先验"是因為它不考虑任何B方面的因素。

P(A|B)是已知B发生后A的条件概率(直白来讲,就是先有B而后=>才有A),也由于得自B的取值而被称作A的后验概率。

P(B|A)是已知A发生后B的条件概率(直白来讲,就是先有A而后=>才有B),也由于得自A的取值而被称作B的后验概率。

1Do People's Personalities Change Over Time?Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk to you about something I've been thinking about a lot lately - whether people's personalities stay the same as they get older or if they can change.I've been wondering this because I feel like some of my friends act pretty different now compared to when we were little kids. Like my best friend Sophia used to be really shy and quiet when we were in preschool. She wouldn't really talk much and was kind of scared of everything. But now that we're in 4th grade, she's one of the loudest and most talkative people I know! She's not shy at all anymore and she's always cracking jokes to make everyone laugh.Then there's my friend Michael who was the complete opposite when we were little. He never stopped talking and was super hyper and energetic all the time. The teachers were always getting onto him for goofing around too much. But now he'sway more chill and doesn't get in trouble for being disruptive anymore. It's like he did a total 180!Seeing how differently some of my friends act now compared to when we were little kids made me start thinking - do people's basic personalities stay the same as they get older? Or can their personalities drastically change over time? I decided to investigate and do some research to try to find an answer.First, I asked my parents what they thought. My mom said that she believes personalities can definitely change, especially when someone is young and still developing into their adult self. She said she was really shy as a kid just like Sophia was. But then when she got to high school she decided she wanted to be more outgoing, so she kind of forced herself to come out of her shell more. And by the time she was in college she was a total social butterfly! My dad agreed that he's changed a lot too over his life, but he thinks personalities tend to settle and solidify more once you become an adult.Next, I asked my teacher Mrs. Robinson her thoughts since she has a lot of experience working with kids of different ages. She said it's pretty common for kids' personalities to seem quite different as they progress through elementary school and into middle school compared to when they were in preschool orkindergarten. She thinks this is because young kids are still figuring out who they are and their preferences and behaviors can shift a lot during those early years. But she's noticed that most people's core personalities don't drastically change too much once they reach high school age.I also looked online to see what experts say about personality changes over time. From what I found, it seems like there's still some debate but a lot of psychologists believe our personalities remain relatively stable starting around age 30. Before then, it's more common for someone's personality traits to change as they have new experiences, face new social situations, and develop new interests that could influence how they behave.For example, a naturally curious kid could become more extraverted and talkative as a teenager if they join the debate team and gain more confidence in themselves. Or a really energetic and rambunctious young child may start exhibiting a calmer, more introverted personality if they take up a solitary hobby like reading or art. But once we become adults our personalities tend to "set" more unless we go through really major life events or make a focused, conscious effort to change certain personality traits.After doing all my research, I've come to the conclusion that yes, people's personalities can change over time at least to some degree. We might start off acting one way as young kids, but then our core personalities could evolve and even shift pretty drastically as we get older and encounter new experiences and environments that shape who we are.However, it also seems like at a certain point our personalities become more firmly established and it gets harder to drastically change them without purposefully working on it. So while my outgoing friend Sophia may always retain hints of the shy, quiet girl she once was, it doesn't seem like she'll just spontaneously become bashful again out of the blue now that she's blossomed into such a confident person.篇2Can People's Personalities Really Change? An Essay by a KidHave you ever noticed how some people seem to stay exactly the same their whole lives, while others go through major personality changes as they get older? I think about stuff like this a lot. Like, is a mean kid destined to always be a big jerk? Or can someone's personality do a total 180 and them become the nicest person ever? It's an interesting question to ponder.My grandma is a prime example of someone whose personality shifted big time over the decades. When she was young, she was apparently a total rebel. She was the type who did whatever she wanted, didn't care what others thought, and was always getting into trouble. My mom has some hilarious stories about the crazy antics Grandma used to pull when she was a kid and teenager.But now, Grandma is like the sweetest, most proper old lady you'll ever meet. She is always fussing overme and my siblings, making sure we have enough to eat and that we're being polite. She never misses church and she tends her garden daily without fail. Her life revolves around doing little nice things for others. It's hard to believe she was once a troublemaker!I think a lot of Grandma's personality transformation happened when she had kids of her own. My mom said Grandma really calmed down and became responsible after that. Having my mom and her siblings made Grandma realize she had to grow up and be a good role model. So her personality shifted from a rebel to a caregiver and nurturer.Then there's my Uncle Mike who has stayed virtually the same goofy, loud, life-of-the-party kind of guy since we've known him. He's pretty much a big kid himself even though he'slike 40 years old now. Uncle Mike is always cracking jokes, doing silly voices, and just being totally zany and over-the-top. We never know what bizarre stunt he's going to pull next.I've heard stories from my parents about how Uncle Mike was the wild class clown all throughout school. He was constantly getting in trouble for being the instigator of pranks and disrupting class with his wacky behavior. But he's still that same big goof to this day, decades later. I can't imagine Uncle Mike ever growing up to be a serious, calm, mature person. His personality is just too ingrained at this point.My dad is another example of someone whose core personality traits have pretty much stayed the same over time. For as long as I can remember, my dad has been this total workaholic who is always stressing out about his job and providing for our family. He works crazy long hours during the week, brings work home on weekends, and is constantly checking his phone and email for incoming messages from his bosses and clients.My parents said Dad was pretty much the exact same way when they were first dating - the ultimate workaholic who struggled to strike that work-life balance. Dad's intense drive and ambition hasn't changed at all since he was a young adult. Ifanything, he's even more of a workaholic now that he's older because he's got a wife and kids to support.Based on the examples in my life, I think some people's personalities are pretty locked in from an early age. Like with my Uncle Mike, he was born as a total goofball and he'll probably be cracking dad jokes when he's 100 years old. And driven workaholics like my dad will likely stay that way till the day they retire (or probably even after retirement knowing my dad!).But for others, I do think personalities can morph dramatically over the course of a lifetime. My grandma is the perfect case study of how someone can go from a rebel to a traditional, nurturing homebody type. The responsibilities and life experiences we gain as we get older really alter our mindsets and perspectives. Big life events like having kids, losing a loved one, or going through a hardship often transform how we see the world and approach life.So in conclusion, while I believe some people's quintessential personality traits tend to stick around, virtually everyone goes through some level of personal growth and change as they age and face new chapters and challenges. Our personalities aren't set in stone - they continuously evolve throughout our lifetimes, getting shaped by our circumstancesand environments. But how much we change or don't change comes down to the individual. We all march to the beat of our own personal growth!篇3Can People's Personalities Really Change?Hi everyone! My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk about an interesting question – can people's personalities actually change as they get older? This is something I've been wondering about a lot lately.Personality is what makes each person unique and different from others. It's all about the mix of traits that shape how we think, feel and behave. Some people are naturally outgoing and loud, while others are more reserved and shy. Some people are creative freethinkers, while others prefer following rules and routines. You get the idea!So if personality is such a core part of who we are, can it really change over time? Or are we basically "stuck" with the same personality forever once it gets established? I've asked some of my friends and family about this, and I've heard different opinions. Let me share some of their points of view.My best friend Sophia thinks personalities can definitely change. She said, "Look at your parents or other adults you know. Don't they sometimes act really different now compared to when they were kids? My mom used to be this super quiet, shy person. But now she's way more outgoing and confident after becoming a teacher and being around people all the time." I can see what Sophia means. My own parents seem different in some ways compared to when I was really little.On the other hand, my older brother Jack disagrees. He told me, "While our interests, habits and behaviors might evolve, I think our core personalities stay pretty much the same. If you were an introvert as a kid, you'll probably always be somewhat introverted deep down, even if you get more sociable over time." Jack makes a fair point too. I can think of adults who still act a lot like they did when they were my age, at least in terms of their basic personality style.My grandpa offered yet another perspective. He said some major life events or challenges can definitely change people's personalities in big ways, even later in life. He used to be really carefree and happy-go-lucky when he was younger. But after he served in a war and went through some other tough times, hebecame much more serious and anxious about things. So maybe our core traits can shift depending on what we experience?After thinking it all over, here's what I tend to believe. I think our personalities do stabilize and settle quite a bit by the time we become teenagers and adults. Our fundamental traits, tendencies, and ways of seeing the world get pretty ingrained during childhood. Whether you're an extrovert, a thinker, a feeler, an adventurer or a homebody – those kinds of core personality styles seem tough to completely change.However, I also believe our personalities aren't completely fixed and rigid. We can definitely evolve, adapt and adjust our personas over the long term based on new experiences, relationships, accomplishments and challenges. Maybe an initially shy person becomes more socially confident later in life. Or someone pretty pessimistic becomes more positive and optimistic. Our interests, values and self-perceptions can transform quite a bit too.Ultimately, I suspect personalities involve both stable and malleable components. There's this underlying, lasting foundation that makes us uniquely "us". But then there are layers on top that can flex, expand and shift to varying degrees as we grow, develop and encounter new chapters in life. Like a treetrunk and branches – the core stays rooted, but the outer form can adapt to the changing winds and seasons.Those are just my 10-year-old thoughts though! This is obviously a complex issue that even experts disagree about. I'm really curious to hear what you all think. Do our personalities truly have the ability to change substantially over our lifetimes? Or are we more or less "stuck" with the personalities we're born with? I'd love to hear your perspectives!篇4Do People's Personalities Change As They Get Older?Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today, I want to talk to you about something that's been on my mind lately - whether people's personalities stay the same forever or if they can change over time as they get older. It's a pretty deep topic, but I'll do my best to explain it in a way that makes sense!From what I've observed with the people around me, it seems like personalities can definitely change at least a little bit as we age. My grandpa, for example, used to be a really quiet and serious guy when he was younger. But now that he's older, he's become much more easygoing, loves to tell jokes, and even acts kind of silly sometimes! Whenever I visit him, he always hasthese big warm hugs for me. It's hard to imagine him being so stern when I see how cheerful he is nowadays.On the other hand, my aunt Hannah has been a bubbly, energetic person for as long as I can remember. Even when she was a teenager, my mom said she was always the life of the party and made friends really easily wherever she went. Now that she's an adult with her own kids, she's definitely had to mature in some ways and be more responsible. But her core personality of being an outgoing people-person hasn't changed at all.So based on the examples around me, I think some parts of our personalities tend to stay consistent throughout our lives, while other parts can evolve over time. Like, maybe you'll always be a generally happy or serious type of person deep down. But the specific ways you express your personality might adapt as you experience different life stages and face new challenges.For example, an extravert might always crave lots of social interaction no matter how old they get. But the way they socialize could change, whether it's playing outside with neighborhood kids as a child, joining tons of school clubs as a teen, or hosting dinner parties with friends as an adult. The core drive to be around others stays the same, but how they act on it adjusts with age.Or let's say someone has always been a creative, artistic type of personality. As a kid, they might have spent hours coloring, painting, or putting on plays with friends. Then as a teenager, they could channel that creative energy into things like photography, creative writing, or designing clothes. And later as a working adult, that innate artistic vision could lead them to have a career in an artistic field like being a graphic designer, dance instructor, or chef. The fundamental personality trait sticks around, but it gets expressed through different outlets and evolves over time.Those are just a couple of examples, but you get the picture! Our personalities aren't completely fixed in stone. We're all constantly growing, learning, and being shaped by our changing life experiences and environments as we get older. So even if your core personality remains more or less stable, the specific thoughts, behaviors and ways you interact with the world will likely get refined and expanded over the years.Of course, there are probably some people out there whose personalities do a total 180 degree turn at certain points in their lives. Like maybe someone was a shy introvert as a kid, but later blossomed into a super outgoing adult after joining a band in college or something. Or a person could have a dramatic changein their outlook and way of behaving after going through an extremely formative experience, whether it's becoming a parent, surviving a serious illness, discovering a new hobby they're passionate about, or dealing with personal struggles. Life can take unpredictable turns sometimes that profoundly impact us.But for most of us, I think our personality shifts tend to be more gradual and evolutionary rather than these huge sudden transformations overnight. We're all works in progress, constantly tweaking and fine-tuning ourselves based on the situations we encounter and lessons we learn along the way.I know this is all kind of deep thinking for a 10-year-old kid! But I've always been a curious and contemplative type who loves analyzing things from different angles. And that's a core part of my personality that I don't think will change too much, even as I keep growing up over the years. I'll probably just analyze things in more mature, profound ways as I get older. But that innate desire to ponder life's big questions will likely stick with me throughout my journey.Anyway, those are just my thoughts based on the people I know and my own experiences so far! Personality is such a fascinating and complex part of what makes us human. I'm really looking forward to seeing how my own personality evolves in thedecades to come, while still staying true to my core authentic self. I'd love to hear your perspective too - do you think our personalities are destined to change over time, or do you think we'll be essentially the same people at 80 years old as we were at 8? Let me know!篇5Does Our Personality Change As We Get Older?Hi, my name is Jimmy and I'm in 5th grade. My teacher, Mrs. Garcia, asked us to write an essay about whether people's personalities stay the same or change as they grow up. I've been thinking a lot about this topic because I'm getting older and sometimes I notice changes in how I act compared to when I was little.First off, what even is a personality? From what I understand, it's all the different traits and qualities that make each person unique - like how outgoing or shy you are, if you get angry easily or stay calm, if you're adventurous or prefer routine. Your personality is the collection of all your behaviors, thoughts, feelings, and overall way of being in the world.So the big question is - does that personality shift over the years or is it pretty much set in stone from birth? Based on myobservations and experiences so far, I believe that our core personalities tend to stay relatively stable, but we can certainly change in some specific ways as we age. Let me explain further...When I was a super little kid, like 3 or 4 years old, I was really shy around people I didn't know well. I clearly remember clinging to my mom's leg when we'd go places and refusing to talk if a stranger tried making conversation. As a infant and toddler, my personality seemed to fit the definition of "introverted."Fast forward to now at age 10, and I'm definitely more outgoing and talkative, especially with my group of friends. I'll raise my hand in class to answer questions and I'm not afraid to be the center of attention sometimes. So in that way, it seems like my core personality trait of being shy did evolve into being more extraverted over time.However, I can say with certainty that I was born with my basic temperament and some fundamental aspects of my personality. For example, I've always been a pretty mellow,laid-back kid who doesn't get flustered or lose my cool easily. Even as a baby, my parents said I almost never cried or fussed compared to other newborns. So that calm demeanor is just part of who I am at my core.I've also consistently been a total goofball from day one! Cracking jokes, being the class clown, doing silly voices or dances to make people laugh...that's been a constant part of my personality for as long as I can remember. My funny side and sense of humor don't seem to have changed one bit as I've grown up.Based on my personal experience so far, I'd say certain personality traits like introversion/extroversion can definitely transform quite a bit as we age. But there are also deep-rooted parts of our personality that feel pretty hardwired and stick with us throughout all the stages of life.Another factor that makes me think personalities can evolve is looking at how my interests, hobbies, and goals have already changed so much from when I was little. When I was really young, all I cared about was watching superhero movies and cartoons, and playing make-believe games where I was a powerful hero myself. Those things made me happy back then.Now that I'm older, I've started getting interested in playing sports like basketball and soccer. I've joined the school band and discovered I really like music. And rather than wanting to be a superhero, I'm thinking more about potential career paths - maybe being an engineer or video game designer could be cool.My mindset and focuses have matured compared to my earlier childhood.So if my interests, activities, maturity level, and life goals can change that drastically from age 5 to age 10, it makes sense that my personality traits and behaviors would shift at least a little too. Because the things I devote time to and care about most could impact how I act and see the world, right?From talking to adults, it sounds like personalities can continue changing even more throughout the teenage years, college, and becoming a grown-up. Things like having your first romantic relationship, picking a career path, having kids of your own one day, dealing with life's obstacles and hardships - all of those major life experiences will likely keep shaping who you are as a person over time.Even the type of work you do or lifestyle you choose could alter your personality. For example, my uncle was pretty shy and introverted when he was younger. But after joining the military for several years, he said all that intense training and discipline made him much more assertive, confident, and comfortable taking charge. His job completely transformed his personality in some ways.On the other hand, I know some elderly people who seem to have had the same basic temperaments, quirks, and ways of behaving Their personalities from childhood stayed really consistent over the course of their entire lives, despite all the major changes they went through. So clearly, it's different for everybody.In conclusion, based on my personal observations and thinking through this topic, I believe people's core personalities tend to stay more stable than not. We're all born with certain fundamental traits that feel core to who we are. Things like our basic temperament, levels of introversion/extroversion, sense of humor, talents, and other deep-rooted qualities.However, parts of our personalities can definitely morph and evolve over the years too, especially when it comes to our interests, goals, mindsets, and how we adapt to new life circumstances. Major experiences like jobs, relationships, tragedies or victories - those can absolutely shape us and alter some aspects of how we think and behave over time.But at the end of the day, I believe our true core selves and most fundamental personality traits remain more or less constant throughout our lifetimes. We just keep adding new layers and flavors to our personalities through everything weencounter and the choices we make along the journey of growing up.Well, thanks for reading my essay! I'd better go start my math homework before I get yelled at. Writing this made me appreciate how even though I've changed a bunch since being a little kid, I'm still ultimately the same silly, calm, happy-go-lucky Jimmy at heart. Can't wait to see how else I might change and grow in the years ahead!。

Adults and kids see the world in pretty different ways. I've noticed quite a few things that make me different from my mom and dad.One big difference is how we use technology. My parents are always complaining about how much time I spend on my tablet or playing video games. But to me, that just feels totally normal. I'm a digital native - I've grown up with tablets, smartphones, gaming consoles and computers my whole life. My parents didn't have any of that stuff when they were kids. Back then, they had to read actual books made out of paper!My dad loves telling me about how he used to have to look things up in these huge book called encyclopedias whenever he had a question about something. Nowadays, I just do a Google search or ask Siri and I've got all the information I need right away. My mom still prints out maps before road trips, but I justuse the GPS and navigation apps. Technology is natural and intuitive for me in a way that it's not for my parents.Another big difference is music and entertainment. Have you heard the music your parents listen to? It's so old-fashioned and boring! I can't get into any of those old rock bands from the 1980s or 1990s that my dad is obsessed with. I much prefer the current artists and songs that are popular with me and my friends. My parents seriously question my music taste though - they just don't understand rap, hip-hop or modern pop at all.The movies and TV shows we like are really different too. A lot of the classics from when my parents were young, like Star Wars or Friends, just don't really grab me. They seem kind of slow and outdated. I'm way more into the awesome special effects and action of superhero movies, or the edgy shows kids my age are watching these days. But my parents hate the violence and darker subject matter in those. Of course they do - to them that stuff is just disturbing, not entertaining!Speaking of entertainment, my parents also always seem to want me to "go outside and play" more. Don't they realize that gaming, watching YouTube videos and browsing the internet is how kids my age actually have fun and socialize these days? Sure, they may have spent more time running around outside as kids,but why would I choose to do that when I can just hop online and game or chat with my friends from the comfort of my room? My parents want me moving around and being physical, while I'm just as happy being a couch potato.They also expect me to do way more frequent chores, homework and other responsibilities around the house. I have to tidy up my room, help out with cleaning, walk the dog, and get my school assignments done every day. My parents didn't have anything like the kind of homework load kids do nowadays. And they definitely didn't have chores or strict schedules when they were young - they just got to run around and play all day! Maybe that's why they get so annoyed with me for being lazy or procrastinating. I try to explain to them that childhood is just more regimented and structured these days.The way my parents and I communicate is another difference between us. They are always bugging me to have moreface-to-face conversations and put my phone down once in a while. But in my opinion, there's nothing wrong with texting, messaging on Instagram or Snapchat, or just keeping up online connections. That feels much more natural to me than direct talking. My parents are from the era of phone calls and awkwardsilences. Keeping that constant cross-communication going via messages and social is just what my generation does.My parents and I also just seem to have different fundamental values and attitudes toward a lot of things. Like the importance of school, for instance. My parents are always stressing out about my grades, test scores, which colleges I'll get into one day, and so on. But I'm just a kid - why should I be worrying about that stuff so much already? They keep pushing me to excel academically, while I simply want to have fun, hang out with friends and focus on the present.Or take something like manners. My parents are incredibly old-fashioned and make me mind my p's and q's all the time - say 'please' and 'thank you', don't talk with my mouth full, chew with my mouth closed, don't burp out loud, address adults as 'Mr.' or 'Ms.', and all these other little etiquette rules and social niceties. I try, but honestly a lot of those manners just seem outdated and fussy to me. My parents get super annoyed when I'm rude or inconsiderate, but I'm just being myself.My parents also have very different political and social views than I do. Sure, some of that might be because of our age gap - I'm being raised in a different era. But my parents can be much more conservative, traditional and cautious in their thinking,while I take a more progressive, modern stance on things. There's always friction when issues of human rights, discrimination, technology and social change come up. I'll say something I think is just common sense, and my parents will act totally shocked at my view.We just interpret and experience the world in such contrasting ways. Events or issues that my parents see as hugely significant or problematic, I'll barely notice or understand what the fuss is about. And things that loom enormously in my mind, my parents completely overlook or disregard. It's like we're living in parallel realities.Sometimes those gaps in our experiences, interests and mindsets make my parents and I feel like we're completely disconnected and incapable of relating to each other at all. Which is actually crazy, because we're family who loves each other so much! I know all parents and kids go through this, where the older generation and younger generation struggle to understand one another. I guess that's just part of the cycle of life, and how society continually changes and evolves.My parents sometimes lament how different things are from when they were kids - the clothes, slang, activities and pop culture I'm into are just so vastly divergent from what they knew.And for them, that's weird and hard to wrap their heads around. But for me, it's just normal, everyday life. This is the only reality I've ever known.My parents have wisdom, experience and profound insights to share from their many years on this planet. And I bring fresh, youthful energy and a totally new perspective on ourrapidly-changing world. The differences between us can cause frustration, but also opportunities to learn from each other. If we keep communicating openly, being patient and respecting each other's viewpoints, the bond of love between parent and child can help us bridge that generational gap.篇2The Gap Between Kids and ParentsDo you ever feel like your parents are from another planet? Like they just don't understand you at all? I sure do! Sometimes it seems like there's this huge gap between kids like us and our parents. They're so different from us in so many ways. But I've been thinking about it a lot, and I've realized that these differences aren't necessarily a bad thing. They'rejust...differences!The biggest one is probably how we use technology. We kids are basically technology experts by the time we're in elementary school. I got my first tablet when I was 3 and i-Terminal implant at 5. I'm a pro at coding, gaming, recording vidlogs, you name it! But a lot of our parents didn't really grow up with that stuff. My dad still prints out physical books from the fabber instead of just downloading them onto his lense. How archaic is that?Our parents act like technology is this scary, complicated thing. But to us, it's just...life. It's like breathing. We don't remember a time before the Nexus, because we've never experienced life without it. I sort of feel bad for my parents' generation and how intimidating tech must have been for them at first. No wonder they get so confused!Another huge difference is how we look at the world. Our childhoods have been shaped by things like climate change, mass extinction, and resource depletion. For us, those have always been the norm. But our parents remember a time before all that, when the world was different. They tell us stories about exotic animals that are extinct now, or how the weather wasn't so extreme and unpredictable. It's hard for me to even imagine!We take classes at school about sustainable living, while I'm sure that wasn't really on the curriculum back in our parents' day.Our whole lives, we've been taught that we need to be conscious about our environmental footprint. Things like growing our own food, recycling, and renewable energy sources are second nature to us. But for our parents' generation, a lot of that was new when it started. No wonder they sometimes forget and slip into old wasteful habits!One other really noticeable difference is communication styles. We kids are so used to being bombarded with information from every direction -- streaming feeds, group huddles,vid-messages. We're masters at quickly sorting through all those inputs, multitasking, and staying connected to each other 24/7. But our parents sometimes seem to struggle with it. My mom is always saying things like "Can you please turn off that vidstream for once and just pay attention to the conversation?" Or getting frustrated if dad doesn't respond right away to her messages.I think our parents' generation grew up being more accustomed to one-on-one communication happening in real time. So our totally normal levels of splitting focus and being pulled in multiple directions at once must seem crazy to them! It's just how we're wired though. We've had the ability to instantly connect to anyone, anywhere since we were born.So yeah, the differences between kids today and our parents can definitely seem pretty huge. But I've come to realize that it's not a bad thing; it's just a product of being born in different eras. We have our own strengths that come from growing up immersed in technology and dealing with things like environmental crises. And our parents have their own wisdom that comes from experiencing life before those things.If we can understand where each other is coming from, maybe that gap doesn't have to be so big. I try to be patient when my parents seem baffled by my tech skills or blunt communication style. And they try to remember that for me, some of the things that seem new and scary to them have always been normal. If we make an effort to learn from each other, that's where the real growth happens.At the end of the day, our parents probably feel just as frustrated and misunderstood by us as we do by them sometimes. But they're also probably just as convinced that their way is the right way, without realizing how narrow-minded that view is! I know mine are. Whenever I try to explain some modern concept to them, they're always like "Well, back in my day, we did it this other way and it worked just fine!"My best friend Jessie says her parents are the same. They get nostalgic for "the good old days" and seemingly can't comprehend that the world we're living in now is just...different. And we have to adapt to keep up with the changes. Jessie and I have decided we're not going to be those kinds of parents though. We want to make an effort to understand our kids' world, not just get stuck stubbornly in our own ways. Hopefully by doing that, the generation gap won't have to be so huge.Who knows what mind-bending advancements will happen between now and when we're adults with kids of our own? I can't even imagine! But I know one thing for sure – I don't want to be the clueless, outdated parent who can't relate to my kids and their reality. I'll do my best to keep an open mind and don't let myself get left behind in the past.Because as big as the differences between kids and parents may seem, we're all still human. We're all in this life together, just trying to understand each other and the world around us a little better. And if we meet each other halfway, we might realize that the gap isn't so uncrossable after all.篇3The Gap Between Kids and ParentsMoms and dads are pretty different from us kids, don't you think? Sure, they might have been children themselves once upon a time, but that was ages ago – like, prehistoric times or something! The world has changed so much since then, and the way we see things is often totally different from how our parents view life. Let me share some of the biggest differences I've noticed.Technology TroublesThis is one of the most obvious gaps between the kid generation and the parent generation. We were basically born with iPads in our hands, while our parents still struggle with operating the TV remote control half the time. Need to do research for a school project? We just hop online and Google has all the answers. Our parents' idea of research is hauling home a giant stack of dusty old library books.Computers, smartphones, apps, video games – this kind of tech is second nature to us. But I can't count how many times I've had to explain or re-explain some simple thing to my mom or dad. "No Mom, you don't need to double-click every link." "Dad, you didn't break the internet just because a website looked weird for a second." Figuring out the latest gadgets is easy for us, but parents always seem to be struggling to catch up.Cultural ChasmsThe music, movies, TV shows and books that are hugely popular with us kids today may as well be in alien languages as far as our parents are concerned. They'll put on one of their "golden oldies" from the 1980s and bop along thinking it's cool music. Meanwhile, we're cringing and begging them to stop singing off-key.I've learned it's best not to even try explaining the latest trendy things to my parents. When I mentioned [insert current popular musician/movie/book/etc.], my dad was like "Is that some new video game?" No dad, just...never mind.The generation gap in culture and entertainment is just too wide sometimes. What's fresh and incredible to us is embarrassing and outdated to our parents. And let's not even get started on vamps, selfies, YouTubers and internet celebs –concepts that boggle parents' minds.Social Media ShockersWhile we're on the subject of modern life, let's discuss social media. This is pretty much breathing air to kids today, but it's still a mind-blowing concept for a lot of parents. We have entire existences on Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and who knows whatfuture cool thing will pop up next. Our profiles, pics, messages and memes shape our social lives in a big way.Meanwhile, our parents hardly even understand what the heck we're doing on those apps all the time. They'll ask things like "If you have hundreds of friends online, how many of them are your real friends?" Mom, that's not the point! They still think of social media as some passing fad, rather than the integrated lifestyle it is for kids today.Fast Times, Slow ParentsLet's face it, the pace of modern life is about a billion times faster than it was for our parents at our age. We're consumers of instant information, multi-tasking across multiple devices and moving on to the next thing pretty much every few seconds. Our culture is defined by speed, efficiency, constant stimulation, and always being connected.In contrast, our parents lived these chilled-out childhoods of playing outdoors, coming home to a set dinnertime, then maybe watching one of the few shows available on TV that evening. No split-second shifts of attention or constant bombardment of new content. It's no wonder they sometimes look overwhelmed by how quickly we can process things and move from one activity or interest to the next.Basically, we're like hummingbirds while our parents' younger lives were more like living in slo-mo. Don't get me wrong, each generation has its advantages. But that big difference in pace and stimulation is a huge gap to cross between kids and parents today. An average day in our lives would probably blow their minds!Old School Rules vs. Kid CoolThen there are the basic differences in mentalities and priorities between parents and kids. Parents are all about following rules, listening to authorities, respecting hierarchies and traditions. We kids care a lot more about being independent, challenging norms, keeping things casual and just doing what feels right.Our parents put a lot of emphasis on school achievements and preparing for that fabled "successful future" they're always going on about. Sure, that stuff is somewhat important to us too. But kids are more focused on just feeling accepted, having fun with friends, expressing ourselves and experiencing all the awesome things happening right now.So while parents are pushing us to "be the best," we're more concerned about being ourselves in the moment. They want us to color inside the lines, but we prefer seeing how many newways we can creatively colour outside the lines. It often feels like we're pulling in opposite directions – parents towards traditional responsibilities and us towards youthful freedom and doing our own thing.Despite these differences, we need to remember that our parents do mean well and are trying to guide us based on their experiences. Even if those experiences took place eons ago when messenger pigeons were the fastest way to send news and dinosaurs still roamed the earth. We may roll our eyes sometimes at how oblivious or uncool they can be. But we have to appreciate that our parents shape so much of who we are too.。

保持年轻,保持热情并取得成功英语作文

保持年轻,保持热情并取得成功英语作文

保持年轻,保持热情并取得成功英语作文Staying Young, Passionate and SuccessfulHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to share my thoughts on how to stay young, passionate and successful in life. It's something I've been thinking a lot about lately.First off, what does it mean to be "young"? To me, being young isn't just about your actual age. It's a mindset, an attitude. Sure, when you're a kid like me, you're physically young. But I've met plenty of adults who act really young at heart too. They're full of curiosity, energy, playfulness and joy. That's what being young is all about!On the other hand, I know some kids my age who already act like grumpy old people. They complain a lot, are cynical about everything, and don't seem to have much laughter or fun in their lives. I feel kind of sad for them because even though they're just 10, they've already lost that youthful spirit.The way I see it, here are some keys to staying young:Be curious and keep learning. When we're babies and toddlers, the whole world is new and we want to learn about absolutely everything. But as we get older, sometimes thatcuriosity can start to fade. Fight against that! Ask lots of questions, read books on new topics, take classes to learn new skills. There's a huge world out there and so much to discover. An curious mind will always stay young.Stay active and get out into nature. Kids love to run around, explore the outdoors, and use their bodies. There's nothing that makes you feel more youthful than being physically active, whether that's playing sports, hiking, swimming, or just playing at the park. And being out in beautiful natural surroundings like forests, beaches and mountains can refresh and energize your spirit in a way that nothing else can.Don't take yourself too seriously - have fun! Laugh a lot, be silly sometimes, and don't get weighed down by little things that shouldn't matter that much. Life is too short not to enjoy it and have as much fun as we possibly can. Keep that childlike sense of wonder, play and humor as you get older. It will make you much happier.See the world with open eyes. Little kids experience everything for the first time - the first snowfall, the first lick of an ice cream cone, the first time catching a ball. As we get older, it's easy to get jaded and take things for granted. But don't let that happen! Try to see the small joys, beauties and amazements thatare all around you every single day. Look at the world with the wide-eyed perspective of a child, and you'll never get old inside.Alright, let's talk about passion next. I may only be 10 years old, but I'm already pretty passionate about certain things like reading, soccer, and protecting the environment. When you're passionate about something, it's like a fire burning inside you. You have so much energy, excitement and determination around that topic or activity. You'll work really hard, push through any obstacles, and stick with it over the long haul because you care about it so deeply.I think passion is one of the most important things to focus on in life. When you're truly passionate, you'll wake up every morning inspired and motivated to learn, grow, create and achieve in the areas you care about most. You'll live with a sense of purpose. Passionate people tend to be successful because their passion fuels them to give their absolute best. And even if you don't become professionally "successful" in the traditional sense, you'll live a rich, fulfilling life by pursuing your passions every day.My advice for staying passionate:Follow your interests and curiosities, no matter how "impractical" they may seem to others. If you're really intriguedby something, whether it's dinosaurs or astrophysics or Broadway musicals, dive in and learn all you can about it. Let yourself fall in love with new subjects and activities.Pay attention to what excites you and gives you energy. Those are clues to where your passions may lie. Do more of those things!Try lots of new experiences and activities. You never know what may unexpectedly light a fire in you. The more you sample, the more chances you have of finding your true callings.Don't let others discourage you from pursuing passions that are meaningful to you. As long as you're not hurting anyone, you have a right to spend your time and energy how you wish. Don't let others' arbitrary judgments stop you from caring deeply about the things that inspire you.Role models help. Find people who are passionate about similar interests and learn from their journeys and mindsets. Seeing the joy and fulfillment passion brings them can be motivating.Finally, let's discuss success. Now, I don't mean just the traditional definition of "success" as getting rich, famous, or super accomplished in a career. I think success has a muchbroader meaning than that. To me, success is about striving for your personal best, reaching your own unique potential, and living life in a way that feels meaningful and joyful to you.Yes, if your passion happens to be something like business or sports or entertainment, then maybe you will achieve that kind of financial or public success too. But you can be extremely successful as a parent, a volunteer, an artist, a friend - really in any area of life where you have big goals and aspirations and you work hard to grow and positively impact the world around you.Here are some of my thoughts on achieving success:Figure out what "success" means for you as an individual. Don't just blindly follow someone else's definition. Get clear on your own values, gifts and interests, and shape your own vision for an amazing life.Set goals and make plans to achieve them. Dream big and be ambitious! Break your big goals down into practical steps to work on each day. Celebrate small wins along the way.Develop good habits like discipline, perseverance, hard work and time management. These will help you actually follow through on your goals and do the work to make them happen.Don't be afraid to fail sometimes. Every successful person has experienced setbacks, mistakes and failures. Use them as opportunities to learn and improve. Failure is just part of the process of growing.Build your skills, knowledge and experience in the areas related to your goals. Invest in your personal development and growth. Learn from coaches, mentors, books and courses. Practice, practice, practice.Stay motivated by tapping into your "why" - your deeper reasons and inspirations behind your goals. Let your passions drive you forward.Don't go it alone. We all need support, encouragement and different perspectives at times. Build a supportive circle of friends, family and helpers.Believe in yourself. Have confidence that you have what it takes to live out your vision, whatever that may be. Self-belief is so powerful.Well, those are my thoughts on staying young, passionate and successful! I may only be 10, but these ideas feel really important to me already. I want to hold onto my youthful spirit for as long as possible. I want to find and nurture my greatestpassions in life. And I want to make the most of my talents and live a joyful, fulfilled life - which is true success in my eyes.I know there will be lots of challenges and obstacles along the way. But if I can keep that mindset of curiosity, playfulness, excitement for learning, eagerness to try new things, commitment to following my bliss, resilience, hard work and self-belief...then I'll be well on my way.I hope these thoughts make sense and give you something to ponder too. Let's all go forth and live passionate, successful lives while keeping our inner youth alive! The world will be a much better place for it.。

性格会时间改变英文作文200字全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1How Our Personalities Change Over TimeWhen I was a little kid, I used to be really shy. I wouldn't talk much to anyone except my parents and closest friends. I was afraid of trying new things or meeting new people. As I've gotten older though, my personality has changed a lot.In kindergarten, I remember hiding behind my mom's legs whenever a stranger would try to talk to me. But by first grade, I had started coming out of my shell a bit. I made some new friends and wasn't quite as shy around adults I knew.By third grade, I was a totally different kid. I loved raising my hand in class, joined the school play, and wasn't afraid to be goofy or silly. My shyness was pretty much gone. Instead, I became known as one of the most talkative and outgoing students!Now that I'm in fifth grade, I've changed again in some ways but my outgoing personality has remained. I'm still very talkativebut I've also become more serious about my schoolwork. I've learned that I can be social while still staying focused.Our personalities are always evolving as we grow up and have new experiences. The shy little kid I once was is long gone. I'm sure my personality will keep changing over the years too as I continue learning and trying new things.篇2How Our Personalities Can Change Over TimeWhen I was a little kid, I was really shy. I didn't like talking to new people or being around big groups. I just wanted to play by myself or with one or two close friends. My parents and teachers were always telling me I needed to come out of my shell more.As I got a bit older though, maybe around 3rd or 4th grade, I started changing. I made some new friends at school who were really outgoing and funny. Hanging out with them helped me get more comfortable talking and joking around. I realized being shy was holding me back from having more fun.Now that I'm in 5th grade, I'm definitely what you would call an extrovert. I love meeting new people and making them laugh. Instead of being the quiet kid in the corner, I'm usually the loudclass clown cracking jokes. Sometimes my teachers have to tell me to settle down because I get so chatty!I never would have imagined just a few years ago that I'd turn into such an outgoing person. Just goes to show that we can change a lot as we have new experiences and grow up. Our personalities aren't set in stone. I'm sure as I get even older, I'll keep evolving into a different kind of person. Can't wait to see who I become next!篇3How My Personality Has Changed Over TimeI'm only ten years old, but I feel like my personality has already changed a bunch of times! When I was a little kid, I was really shy and quiet. I didn't like talking to people I didn't know very well, and I would often hide behind my mom's legs when we had visitors over. My parents said I was a very serious baby who didn't smile or laugh much. I know that's hard to believe now because I'm such a giggly goofball!My shyness started to go away when I was around five years old and started going to preschool. Being around all the other kids helped me come out of my shell. I made some good friends and really came to enjoy being around others. I remember oneday, my teacher had us all go around and say our names and our favorite colors. When it was my turn, I got really excited and shouted "Hi! My name is Jamie and I love rainbow colors!" Everyone laughed at how loud I was, but in a nice way. From then on, I was known as the loud, energetic one in the class.In kindergarten and first grade, I was definitely the class clown. I was always cracking jokes and doing silly voices and dances to get my friends to laugh. I loved being the center of attention and making people smile. My teachers didn't always appreciate my comedy routines though, especially when I would disrupt the class. They said I needed to learn when it was the appropriate time to be goofy and when I needed to be serious and focused on my work. I'm still working on finding that balance!Second and third grade were kind of awkward years for me personality-wise. I went through a phase where I really wanted to be cool and popular. I stopped being as outgoing because I was afraid of saying something embarrassing or dumb in front of the other kids. I just tried to blend in and not draw too much attention to myself. Looking back, that was kind of a boring way to live! I'm glad I got over caring so much about what others thought of me.This past year in fourth grade, I finally feel like my personality has blossomed and I've really come into my own. I'm back to being the chatty, energetic one, but I've also developed more confidence in myself. I'm not afraid to be unique and do my own thing. If I think something is funny, I'll say it without worrying if others agree. If I'm feeling silly and want to dance around, I just go for it. True friends will accept you for who you are.I've also become more interested in trying new activities and stepping outside my comfort zone. I joined the school drama club this year, which is something I never would have done when I was shy and timid. Getting up on stage and performing has actually been an amazing way for me to further express myself and have fun with my personality. I really admire actors and how they can just completely transform into a different character.One thing that hasn't changed about my personality is how much I love learning. I've always been a curious kid who asks a million questions about everything. My teachers say I have a clever wit and a great sense of humor when it comes to academics. I enjoy finding creative, silly ways to remember things I'm studying, like making up funny rhymes or stories.My personality will probably keep evolving as I get older and have more life experiences. I'm sure I'll go through some more awkward phases too where I'm feeling self-conscious or trying on different versions of myself. That's just part of growing up and figuring out who you really are. But I hope I'm always able to hold onto my core values of being kind, curious, and confident in expressing my true self. Having a positive, sunny outlook on life is one of my biggest personality traits that I never want to lose.When I'm an adult, maybe I'll be a world-famous comedian, scientist, or teacher. Or maybe I'll have some crazy career that doesn't even exist yet! No matter what I end up doing, you can be sure my big, goofy personality will come shining through. The world needs more laughter and people who aren't afraid to be themselves. I plan on bringing my own personal brand of sunshine and silliness wherever I go!篇4Have you ever noticed how different you are now compared to when you were a little kid? It's almost like you're a completely new person! Or maybe you're still pretty much the same asyou've always been. Either way, it's really interesting to think about how our personalities can change over time, or stay the same.When I was a tiny little kid, like 3 or 4 years old, I was a totally different person than I am now. Back then, I was super shy and quiet. I wouldn't talk to anyone except my parents and a few close family members. I was really scared of new people and new situations. I also used to throw massive tantrums whenever I didn't get my way. I'd scream and cry and roll around on the floor like a crazy person! It's kind of embarrassing to think about now.As I got a little older, around 5 or 6, I started to come out of my shell a bit. I was still pretty shy, but I was able to make some friends at school and play with other kids. I also stopped throwing those huge tantrums, thank goodness. Instead, I became kind of a whiner. If something didn't go my way, I'd just complain and mope around instead of freaking out. I guess that was an improvement, but it was still pretty annoying!Now that I'm 8 years old, I feel like my personality has changed a lot again. I'm way more outgoing and confident than I used to be. I'm not afraid to try new things or meet new people. I can stand up for myself and express what I want without just whining about it. I'm also a lot more patient and able to control my emotions better.It's really cool to look back and see how much I've grown and changed as a person over the years. My parents are always telling me stories about what I was like as a baby and a toddler, and it's crazy to think about how different I was back then. I'm sure I'll keep changing and growing as I get older too.Maybe by the time I'm a teenager, I'll be completely different again. I might go through a rebellious phase where I start acting out and giving my parents a hard time. Or maybe I'll just stay my happy, goofy self. It's hard to say for sure.What I do know is that change is a normal and natural part of life. As we have new experiences and our brains develop more, it makes sense that our personalities would evolve too. Some parts of who we are might stay the same, but other parts are bound to change over time.I think it's important to embrace those changes instead of fighting them. There's no point in trying to stay exactly the same forever. That would just be boring! It's much more exciting to keep growing and changing as a person.Overall, I'm really curious and excited to see how my own personality continues to develop as I get older. I'll probably look back at the 8-year-old version of myself someday and laugh athow different I was. But that's okay! Change is just part of the journey of life. As long as I篇5How Our Personalities Can Change As We Grow UpHave you ever looked back at old photos or videos of yourself when you were really little and thought "Wow, I was such a different person back then!" I know I have. When I see videos of my 5-year-old self, that little kid seems like a totally different human being compared to who I am now at 10 years old. It's crazy how much we can change over just a few years!The main way I've noticed my personality shifting is in how shy or outgoing I am. When I was really little, I was incredibly shy around anyone who wasn't my parents or close family members.I remember hiding behind my mom's legs anytime a stranger would try to talk to me. Even around friends from school, I was very quiet and had a hard time opening up. These days, I'm a total chatterbox! I'll talk to anyone about anything. My friends and family are always telling me to pipe down because I seemingly never stop talking.My interests and favorite activities have also done a total 180 over the years. As a kindergartener, all I wanted to do was playmake-believe games, color, sing silly songs, and watch TV shows about talking animals. Now that kind of stuff seems so babyish to me. Instead, I'm really into sports, video games, reading books without pictures, and learning about science and history. I can't get enough of documentaries on topics like ancient Egypt, black holes, or dinosaurs. My 5-year-old self would have found that stuff incredibly boring!Even silly little things about my personality have changed as I've gotten older. Like how I used to be a super picky eater who wouldn't touch anything remotely healthy or vegetable-adjacent. Now I'll happily munch on raw broccoli, spinach salads, or anything else that's nutritious. And I used to be awake at the crack of dawn, bouncing off the walls with energy. These days, my parents have to fight me to get out of bed before 10am on the weekends.Another big way I've changed is in my ability to deal with tough emotions and situations. When I was little, I would have a total meltdown anytime something didn't go my way. If I got a bad grade, lost a game, or got told "no" by my parents, I would burst into tears instantly. Now I've gotten a lot better at keeping my cool, taking deep breaths, and looking at things from a calmer perspective. I very rarely have big tantrums anymore. Myfriends even joke about how "chill" I am compared to other kids our age who still freak out over every little thing.The older I get, the more I'm fascinated by how quickly my personality shifts and evolves. I'm sure I'll keep changing just as dramatically over the next few years as I finish up elementary school and become a teenager. It'll be so interesting to look back at who I am now versus the middle school or high school version of me. I bet my priorities, interests, attitudes, and overall outlook on life will be totally different!I think personalities are meant to keep changing over time as we gain new experiences and our brains develop more. If we all stayed exactly the same forever, that would be kind of boring, don't you think? Our changing personalities are whatkeep us growing as people. They make sure we always have new perspectives to gain and room to mature.So while it's a little sad to see the bouncy, giggly, innocent kiddo I once was get further and further away, I know that's just part of life. I'm excited to keep evolving into who I'll be next as I make my way through all the adventures and milestones that lie ahead. This is just the beginning! Here's to many more personality changes to come.篇6How Our Personalities Change Over TimeHave you ever looked back at yourself from a few years ago and thought "Wow, I was such a different person back then!"? Our personalities definitely change as we get older and have new experiences.When I was really little, like in kindergarten, I was pretty shy. I didn't like raising my hand or speaking up in class. But now that I'm in 4th grade, I'm a lot more outgoing. I've made lots of friends and I'm not afraid to share my ideas with the class.My interests have changed too. A few years ago, all I wanted to do was play pretend games and run around outside. Now I'm really into reading books, especially fantasy novels about magic and mythical creatures. I still like playing outside sometimes, but my priorities are different.I've also become more responsible over time. When I was younger, I would never remember to make my bed or clean my room without my parents nagging me. But these days I try to do my chores without being asked. I know having responsibilities now will help prepare me for even bigger ones when I'm a teenager and adult.Our experiences and interests shape who we are. As we keep learning and growing, our personalities evolve too. I'm curious to see how my personality will change again in a few more years! Just hopefully I don't become a grumpy teenager.。

Too young, too simple, sometimes naive

”Werts
