2011级第三学期英语口语考试题及要求

1、考试时间由各位老师灵活安排，但务必要在期末前完成。老师要

提前2周把题目公布给学生，让学生做准备。

2、本次口语试题分两部分进行：第一部分：朗读Reading Aloud。由

老师指定课本上的一段文字给考生朗读。第二部分：2人对话Dialogue。此部分共有5个话题。学生必须事先准备好试题给出的所有5个话题，考前10分钟通过抽签决定考试的话题并准备10分钟。考试时学生先分别朗读指定文字，再就所抽题目进行2人对话。

3、对话时要求学生脱稿完成。考试时间不能少于2分钟。鼓励学生

尽量多说。建议学生不要死记硬背，要恰当运用语音、语调、表情、动作，自然地、灵活地待自己的角色。

4、老师根据学生的语音语调（20%）、流利程度（30%）、语言组织（30%）、

表现（20%）等4个方面进行综合评分，总分为10分。

5．建议：优：9-9.5分段占5%-15%（原则上不高于9.5分）

良：8-8.9分段占35%-45%，

中：7-7.9分段占35%-45%，

及格：6-6.9分段占5%-15%（原则上只要能组织语言，内容切题则不低于6分）。

Oral Test for Students of Year 2011

Directions：Work with a peer to prepare for the following situational conversations. Then you may have 10 minutes to prepare for the final test before you draw the lots to decide which task to go.

Task 1: Situation: Two students are talking about success in academic pursuit. Tips: you’d better talk about some factors leading to one’s success.

Role A: You’re a little bit depressed about mathematics course, thinking that you were not born for science and no matter how hard you work you just cannot keep

up with other students.

Role B: You’re very much concerned with your friend’s depression. You try to comfort and encourage him/her. You give your friend some examples of

brilliant scientists who were rather dull students when they were young. Task 2: Situation: Two college sophomores are discussing their future plans for further education after graduation. Tips: you’d better talk about something related to lifelong education.

Role A: You’re planning to continue your education as a graduate student. You think that the more education you get, the more chances you will have to find a

better job with a higher salary.

Role B: You’ve decided to find a job first and then join some training programs while working. You believe that experience and practical skills are more important

than book knowledge.

Task 3:Situation: Two tourists are talking about the means of transportation while they go around a city. Tips: you’d better talk about the proper way to appreciate and protect our traditional culture.

Role A: You think the taxi is at the top of the list. You can go directly from one place to another without wasting much time on the road. It’s comfortable in a taxi,

and you can rest before reaching your destination.

Role B:You prefer buses and subways. They are much cheaper. Besides, you will have more chances to communicate with local people and to learn about

their culture.

Task 4: Situation: A pop musician is reported to have a drug problem. Two people are talking about the causes of his/her problem. Tips: you’d better continue to talk about this issue among today’s net worms.

Role A: You think his/her problem results from too much fame, easy money and loss of control of his/her behavior. Since he/she is a public figure he/she should

avoid being a bad example to his/her young fans.
