“科技英语”是非英语专业本科生的一门必修课。通过 本课程的学习，学生在公共英语教学基础上，掌握科技英 语的特点及翻译技巧、科技论文的阅读及写作方法、英文 工具手册的阅读和使用、扩大科技词汇量，让学生承担科 技英语阅读必需的基本技能和知识，使学生能够以英语为 工具获取科技知识及其他有关的信息,以便能准确、迅速 地了解国外科技发展动态，加强对外交流的能力。
