Use caution if you ever drive your vehicle on very rough or rutted roads. You could damage the suspension and underbody by bottoming out. Going too fast over parking lot ‘‘speed bumps’’ can also cause damage.
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. In cold weather, turn off all electrical accessories to reduce the drain on the battery.
3. Push the clutch pedal down all the way. The ENGINE START button has no effect unless the clutch pedal is pressed.
6. If the engine does not start within 15 seconds, or starts but stalls right away, repeat step 5 with the accelerator pedal pressed halfway down. If the engine starts, release pressure on the accelerator pedal so the engine does not race.

Press Release June 23, 2017IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, round 5 in Watkins Glen/USANew 911 RSR tackles another reliability tests in the USAStuttgart. With the six-hour race at Watkins Glen on 2 July – one of America’s sports car classics – the IMSA SportsCar Championship picks up pace again after taking a break for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Porsche GT Team sends two new 911 RSR to contest the event in the US state of New York. The 510 hp racer, designed from scratch by Porsche Motorsport in Weissach based on the seventh generation of the iconic 911 sports car, tackles the strongly represented GTLM class. In the GTD cate-gory, customer teams campaign the Porsche 911 GT3 R. The Porsche squad travels to Watkins Glen as the leader (driver and team) of the North American Endurance Cup. The other three events that make up this prestigious long-distance reliability competition are Daytona, Sebring, and Petit Le Mans. The raceThe storied Watkins Glen International racetrack, nicknamed “The Glen”, is 5.472-kilometres long. It was built around a forested hilltop and opened in 1956. For many years, Watkins Glen hosted Formula 1: From 1961 to 1980, the United States Grand Prix was contested on the outskirts of this tranquil town, with Jim Clark and Graham Hill at the top of the winner’s list with three victories each. 2015 marks the last Por-sche victory at Watkins Glen courtesy of Wolf Henzler and Bryan Sellers in the 911 RSR.The Porsche driversPatrick Pilet (France) and Dirk Werner (Germany) share the cockpit of the #911 Por-sche 911 RSR. Manning the #912 vehicle are Laurens Vanthoor (Belgium) and – ashis maiden race as a Porsche works driver – Gianmaria Bruni (Italy). Fielding the 911 GT3 R in the GTD class are the customer squads Park Place Motorsports with Jörg Bergmeister, Alegra Motorsports with Michael Christensen as well as CORE Au-tosports.The Porsche vehiclesAs a completely new development, the 911 RSR celebrated its race debut in January 2017 at the Daytona 24-hour race. It is campaigned by the Porsche GT Team in both the IMSA SportsCar Championship and the Sports Car World Endurance Champion-ship WEC. Depending on the size of the restrictor, the motor, which is now positioned in front of the rear axle, puts out around 375 kW (510 hp). The level of downforce and the aerodynamic efficiency were significantly improved. The 911 GT3 R, mounted with the new ultra-modern, four-litre, flat-six engine with direct fuel injection, was de-signed by Porsche for worldwide GT3 series on the basis of the 911 GT3 RS produc-tion sports car. The 368+kW (500 hp) customer sport racer celebrated its first 2017 victory at Daytona. The scheduleThe six-hour race takes off on Sunday, 2 July, at 10.10 hrs local time (16.10 hrs CEST) and can be viewed live outside the USA on .Pre-race quotesDr. Frank-Steffen Walliser, Vice President and GT Cars: “The race at Watkins Glen is a real sports car classic. The tradition-steeped racetrack is very demanding and it’s the next big challenge for the drivers, most of whom tackled the 24 Hours of Le Mans recently. We’ve successfully completed the first endurance races in the USA with our new 911 RSR. As a result, we’re well placed in the North American Endurance Cup, the prestigious long-distance competition in which our 911 RSR has managed to earn points thanks to its reliability. We are keen to reinforce our top position by achieving a good result at Watkins Glen. We’re particularly pleased to have Gianmaria Bruni contest his first race for Porsche here at Watkins Glen and we wel-come one of the fastest GT pilots to the Porsche motorsport family. Our driver lineup is now set for the rest of the season.”Marco Ujhasi,Overall Project Manager GT Works Motorsport: “Despite the time pressure of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, we’ve taken the time to test at Watkins Glen. To find a perfect vehicle setup for this challenging circuit is particularly tricky. The test yielded some very useful data. Now we have to use the practice and qualifying ses-sions well and then we can line up on the grid with our 911 RSR fully prepared.” Sebastian Golz, Project Manager GT Customer Motorsport: “The many long, sweep-ing corners on this racetrack put the tyres under far more stress than on other cir-cuits. Hence, managing the tyres correctly will be a key to success.”Patrick Pilet (911 RSR #911):“Watkins Glen is a great racetrack. I’m very much looking forward to racing our new 911 RSR there. The circuit has a lot of fast corners, so the track should suit us perfectly. This race will certainly be another highlight of the season.”Dirk Werner (911 RSR #911): “It’s fantastic that the season finally takes off again in the USA, especially with a classic like Watkins Glen. These historic racetracks are particularly fun to drive on. Now the decisive phase of the championship begins, with three races in July. Only those who earn points regularly will ultimately end up amongst the frontrunners.”Laurens Vanthoor (911 RSR #912):“Watkins Glen is new for me. But judging by everything I’ve heard and seen it’s a great racetrack with many fast corners and very few run-off areas. I’ll prepare with the help of videos and simulations and then during practice I’ll try to familiarise myself with the layout as quickly as possible.” Gianmaria Bruni (911 RSR #912): “I can hardly wait to contest my first race for Por-sche with the new 911 RSR. Up until now I’ve only been able to test in the USA. But that was great fun and it helped me to get acquainted with the car. Of course I’m also curious about Watkins Glen. This racetrack is completely new for me but I’m hoping that I can call on my test experience there and turn it into a good race result.”Jörg Bergmeister (911 GT3 R #73): “The six-hour race in Watkins Glen is a major sports car classic in the USA and one of the season highlights for me. The weather, which can be rather changeable in this region, can play a decisive role. It would be great if we could celebrate our first victory of the season on this storied racetrack.” Michael Christensen (911 GT3 R #28): “Watkins Glen is a great race on a very de-manding track. I’m looking forward to driving again with Alegra Motorsports in the 911 GT3 R. Its a fantastic crew.”Please note: Photos and videos of IMSA SportsCar Championship are available for journalists from the Porsche Press Database on https://presse.porsche.de. Porsche 911 Speedster Concept 公布说明书
Press Release 28 September 2018American premiere at Rennsport Reunion VI in CaliforniaPorsche 911 Speedster Concept fascinates US audienceStuttgart. The Porsche 911 Speedster Concept again receives an enthusiastic wel-come at its third public appearance. Following its world premiere on 8 June in Zuffen-hausen, Germany, on the occasion of the “70 years of Porsche Sports Cars” anniver-sary celebration and first demonstration drives at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, the open-top concept car is now celebrating its premiere before the US public at the Rennsport Reunion VI in California. The 911 Speedster Concept is based on the current 991 series and also offers a preview of a potential new equipment range from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. With the Heritage design packages, the Stuttgart-based Sports Car manufacturer will provide a modern interpretation of the distinctive themes and colours of its Sports Car history from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. In addition to the 911 Speedster Concept, Porsche is presenting another unique product at the Laguna Seca Raceway as part of Rennsport Reunion VI: the Porsche Design ‘911 Speedster’ concept chronograph. A decision about a possible series-production ver-sion of the 911 Speedster Concept will be made very soon. With a purist concept, the two-tone drivable concept car – probably the best present Porsche has given itself for its anniversary – reflects the brand core of the Stuttgart Sports Car manufacturer in precise clarity and historically accurate design. It was de-veloped at Porsche Motorsport in close cooperation with Style Porsche and the Por-sche Exclusive Manufaktur. It is powered by a flat-six engine with more than 500 hp. It does without turbocharging and achieves engine speeds of up to 9,000 rpm. This power is transferred to the rear wheels by a six-speed manual transmission. The de-velopment focus was on a pure driving experience.Strong partnership: Top performance meets fine craftsmanshipThe cooperation between Porsche Motorsport and the Exclusive Manufaktur for the 911 Speedster Concept – as the first glimpse of a forthcoming Heritage design strategy – has historical roots, as the two divisions have the same origins. Porsche Exclusive once fulfilled special requests from racing customers, such as the legendary 935 Street, designed with a flat front end. The last joint project between Porsche Motorsport and Porsche Exclusive was the Porsche 911 Turbo S Lightweight (Type 964) from 1992. With the expansion of motor sports at the Weissach Development Centre, the two divisions parted ways. As specialists for manufacture of individually crafted vehi-cles, Porsche Exclusive concentrated with a passion for detail on individual customer requests and limited production runs, such as the 911 Sport Classic of 2009 or the 911 Speedster of the 997 series of 2010, of which only 356 were built. As a general rule, one-off products are almost always possible within the boundaries of the applicable legislation and while also ensuring that Porsche requirements relating to quality and long service life are met. In the current fiscal year, there is a particularly strong demand for personalisation of GT models. This shows that GT customers, who were previously interested primarily in purism and performance, now also want to express their person-ality in colours and custom equipment. The numerous lovingly executed details of the 911 Speedster Concept clearly demon-strate just how well the revitalised collaboration works. The handcrafted paintwork in the classic GT Silver and White colours, together with the so-called ‘spears’ on the front wings, reference the brand's racing history. The same applies to the tank cap positioned in the middle of the bonnet in 1950s style, the exterior mirrors in the classic Talbot shape and the special design of the headlights. The transparent and opaque surfaces of the headlight covers resemble the shape of a cross – a further nod to the early years of Porsche in motorsport. Both the wide B-pillars and the rear end are decorated with milled and gold-plated Speedster lettering.Tribute to a dream: 911 Speedster concept chronograph by Porsche Design Porsche Design has created a special timepiece for the new 911 Speedster Concept: the ‘911 Speedster’ concept chronograph. Just like the vehicle, it is initially a one-off;subsequent production is currently under consideration. The chronograph case is made of a lightweight titanium, with a black titanium carbide coating to highlight its sporty design. The matt-black dial – similar to the instrument cluster of the 911 Speed-ster Concept – is characterised by its excellent readability. Instead of a small second hand, a function display with ‘911 Speedster’ lettering positioned at 9 o'clock indicates that the movement is running. As a special gesture on the occasion of the 70th anni-versary of Porsche Sports Cars, the ‘70’ on the tachymeter is highlighted in a con-trasting colour. The leather strap matches the interior of the concept vehicle and is made of identical types of leather. The timepiece is powered by the first independently developed Porsche Design calibre, the Werk 01.200 with flyback function, load path optimised movement bridge and offi-cial COSC certification. The Swiss movement is the result of three years of develop-ment and state-of-the-art manufacturing methods. It combines engineering and watch-making skill with the know-how from sports car construction, and impresses with pre-cision, functionality and performance.Looking back: Speedster models from Porsche made their debut 66 years ago Various Speedster models have been part of Porsche company history since 1952. They combine open-top driving pleasure with outstanding driving dynamics. The fore-father of these models is the 356 1500 America Roadster, whose aluminium body was manufactured by hand. It weighed 60 kilograms less than the 356 Coupé and its top speed of 175 km/h (108 mph) from its 70 hp flat-four engine was impressive at the time. The exclusive Sports Car, developed for the US market and built only 16 times, already featured key elements of the Speedster design with slot-in windows for the doors, a folding rain-cover top and lightweight bucket seats.Porsche produced a significantly less expensive version in 1954, which also included ‘Speedster’ in the model name and quickly caused a sensation in the world of motor-sports. For the first time, it combined the sheet steel body of the coupé with a flat windscreen, reduced interior equipment and a rain top. In the USA, the 356 1500Speedster cost less than 3,000 dollars and became an instant hit in the sunny coastal states. Hollywood icon James Dean was also an enthusiastic racing driver and chose this purist model, which is dedicated solely to the sheer pleasure of driving. Other var-iants followed. The model reached its peak in 1957 with the 356 A 1500 GS Carrera GT Speedster. It was not until 1988 that a Speedster variant was introduced in the 911 series, as the crowning highlight of the discontinued G-model generation. It was based on the air-cooled 3.2-litre six-cylinder engine with up to 231 hp and – unlike the 911 Speedster Clubsport concept car previously shown at the IAA in Frankfurt – featured a wide turbo look. At the same time, 161 units with a lean Carrera body were also produced. They were intended for export and are particularly prized by collectors today. It is exactly the other way around with the successor model: Between 1992 and 1993, 930 units of the 911 Carrera 2 Speedster of the 964 generation rolled off the production line. In addition, there were 15 vehicles with wide turbo bodies, which are currently attracting top prices.Even more rare is the opulent 911 Carrera Speedster based on the 993 series. Only two of this model were developed by the Porsche Exclusive department – for Ferdi-nand Alexander Porsche and an American collector. Customers didn’t get their hands on a Speedster version of the 911 again until 2010, when it debuted as a limited pro-duction run from Porsche Exclusive based on the 997 model generation. The Sports Car with the shortened windscreen was produced in a strictly limited edition of 356 units.Images in Porsche Newsroom (newsroom.porsche.de) and in the Porsche press database (presse.porsche.de).。

Changing a Flat Tire18. Lower the car to the ground andremove the jack.19. Tighten the wheel nuts securely inthe same crisscross pattern. Have the wheel nut torque checked at the nearest automotive service facility.Tighten the wheel nuts to:80 lbf .ft (108 N .m , 11 kgf .m)20. Store the jack, wheel wrench, extension, air pump, pressuregauge, screwdriver, and flat tire in the trunk.CONTINUEDTaking Care of the UnexpectedChanging a Flat TireTo store the flat tire, put a sheet of paper on the contact surface of the tire and the trunk well as shown in the illustration. Slide the tire in the trunk well with the outside surface of the aluminum wheel facing up.21. Temporarily keep the wing bolt inthe trunk as well. See Replacing Tires and Wheels on page 211 for tire replacement.Storing the Folding Spare Tire Before returning the folding spare tire to its compartment, you must let out all the air. It will fold back to its original space saving shape. The folding spare tire must be off the ground when you let the air out.It is best to deflate the folding spare tire while it is still mounted on the car. This prevents foreign material from being trapped between the wheel and tire.1. If the folding spare tire is still on the car, follow the instructions under Changing a Flat Tire to loosen the wheel nuts and jack up the car.Taking Care of the UnexpectedChanging a Flat Tire2. Unscrew and remove the folding spare tire valve cap.3. Remove the rubber cover on top of the valve cap. Use the notch on the valve cap to unscrew the spare tire valve core until the air starts coming out. Use your hand to shield your eyes. The valve core can fly out under pressure.Keep your fingers and clothing away as the tire deflates and folds back to its compact size.CONTINUEDTaking Care of the UnexpectedChanging a Flat Tire4. As the tire deflates, it will fold back to its original shape. When the air stops coming out of the tire, use the notch on the valve cap to tighten the valve core.5. Put the rubber cap back on the valve cap. Screw the valve cap back on the folding spare tire valve.6. Remove the folding spare tire and install the original tire and wheel nuts. Lower the car and tighten the wheel nuts securely in a criss-cross pattern. Tighten to:80 lbf .ft (108 N .m , 11 kgf .m)Taking Care of the UnexpectedVALVE CAPChanging a Flat Tire7. Store the folding spare tire in the front compartment with the outside surface of the wheel contacting the bracket of the spare tire well. Securely tighten the wing bolt.Air PumpThe air pump that comes with your NSX is designed specifically to inflate the folding spare tire.Follow these precautions:Connect the air pump only to a 12 V car battery. Connecting it to any other power source coulddamage the air pump.Applying oil to any component ofthe air pump is not necessary. The surface of the air pump will become hot during use. Do nottouch the air pump while in use.Continuous operation for more than 15 minutes could damage the air pump. Let it cool down before using it again.Folding Spare TireYour car comes with a folding spare tire. Use this spare tire as a tempo-rary replacement only. Get yourregular tire replaced and put back on your car as soon as you can.Follow these precautions whenever you are using the folding spare tire:Inflate or deflate the spare tire only when it is on the car. Inflating it on the ground may trap stones or other foreign matter betweenthe tire and the wheel rim.Do not exceed 50 mph (80 km/h)under any circumstances.CONTINUEDTaking Care of the UnexpectedChanging a Flat TireThis tire gives a harsher ride and less traction on some road sur-faces than the regular tire. Use greater caution while driving on this tire. The spare tire is smaller than the regular tire, reducing your car's ground clearance. Such things as road debris and parking lot speed bumps could possibly damage the underside of your car.Do not take your car to an auto-matic car wash when the spare tire is mounted. Because of the re-duced ground clearance, the underside of your car could be damaged by the mechanism that pulls the car through the car wash. The wheel of the folding spare tire is designed especially to fit your car. Do not use your spare tire on another car unless it is the same make and model. The folding spare tire cannot be repaired. Special equipment isrequired to remove it from the rim and install a new tire. If it isdamaged, replace it with a folding spare tire of the same design. New spare tires are available at your Acura dealer.Do not mount snow chains on the folding spare tire. The folding spare tire has a shorter tread life than a regular tire. Replace it when you can see the tread wear indicator bars. The spare tire is not designed to be mounted on a regular wheel, and the compact wheel is not designed for mounting a regular tire.Taking Care of the UnexpectedINDICATOR LOCATION MARKTREAD WEAR INDICATORBARIf Your Engine Won't StartDiagnosing why your engine won't start falls into two areas, depending on what you hear when you turn thekey to START (III):You hear nothing, or almost nothing. The engine's starter motor does not operate at all, oroperates very slowly. You can hear the starter motor operating normally, or the starter motor sounds like it is spinning faster than normal, but the engine does not start up and run.Nothing Happens or the Starter Motor Operates Very SlowlyWhen you turn the ignition switch to START (III), you do not hear the normal noise of the engine trying to start. You may hear a clicking sound or series of clicks, or nothing at all.Check these things:Your car has the Immobilizer System. You should use aproperly-coded master or valet key to start the engine (see page 66).A key that is not properly coded will cause the immobilizer system indicator in the dash panel to blinkrapidly.Check the transmission interlock. If you have a manual transmission, the clutch pedal must be pushed all the way to the floor or the starter will not operate. With an automatic transmission, it must bein Park or Neutral.Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).Check the voltmeter reading. Turn on the headlights and check their brightness. If the voltmeter does not register and the headlights are very dim or don't light at all, the battery is discharged. See Jump Starting on page 249.If the voltmeter reads normally and the headlights are bright, turn the key to START (III) thenrelease it.Turn the ignition switch to START (III). If the headlights do not dim, check the condition of the fuses. If the fuses are OK, there is proba-bly something wrong with the electrical circuit for the ignition switch or starter motor. You will need a qualified technician to determine the problem. (SeeEmergency Towing on page 267.)Taking Care of the UnexpectedCONTINUEDIf Your Engine Won't StartIf the headlights dim noticeably or go out when you try to start the engine, either the battery is dis-charged or the connections arecorroded. Check the condition of the battery and terminal connections (see page 200). You can then try jump starting the car from a booster battery (see page 249).The Starter Operates Normally In this case, the starter motor'sspeed sounds normal, or even faster than normal, when you turn the ignition switch to START (III), but the engine does not run.Are you using the proper starting procedure? Refer to Starting the Engine on page 145.Do you have fuel? Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) for a minute and watch the fuel gauge. The low fuel level warning light may not be working, so you werenot reminded to fill the tank. There may be an electricalproblem, such as no power to the fuel pump. Check all the fuses (see page 260).If you find nothing wrong, you will need a qualified technician to find the problem. See Emergency Towing on page 267.Taking Care of the Unexpected。

Porsche 911 RSR 竞技赛文件说明书
Press Release July 29, 2016No. M 152/16 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, round 8 at Elkhart Lake/USAPorsche drivers look forward to the Road America challengeStuttgart. The IMSA SportsCar Championship takes a trip into the past: On the leg-endary Road America circuit, one of the oldest and most demanding racetracks in the USA, the eighth round of North America’s most important sports car race series will be contested. The Porsche North America factory squad fields two Porsche 911 RSR in the GTLM class against strong opposition from BMW, Ferrari, Ford and Chevrolet on the storied circuit close to Elkhart Lake in the US state of Wisconsin. The 470 hp winning racer from Weissach is based on the seventh generation of the iconic 911 sports car. Equally as fierce is the competition in the GTD class in which Porsche customer teams such as Alex Job Racing and Park Place Motorsports campaign the new 500 hp Porsche 911 GT3 R.The raceThe cradle of sports car racing in the USA is close to Elkhart Lake, two hours’ drive north of Chicago. Opened in 1955, Road America is one of the oldest racetracks in the United States and one of the few circuits to have retained its original layout. The 6.514-kilometre track with its long final straight and 14 corners lies halfway between Milwaukee and Green Bay on Highway 67. A newspaper once aptly described Road America as “America’s National Park of Speed”.The Porsche driversThe defending IMSA GT champion Patrick Pilet (France) and Nick Tandy (Great Brit-ain) return to Elkhart Lake as last year’s winners. The pair shares the #911 Porsche 911 RSR with which they won the Long Beach street race earlier this year. Theirteam colleagues in the sister 911 RSR run by Porsche North America (No. 912) are Earl Bamber (New Zealand), who finished second there last year after starting from pole position, as well as Frédéric Makowiecki (France). One of the most successful GT pilots at Road America is Jörg Bergmeister (Germany) who contests the GTD class for the Porsche customer team Park Place Motorsports as the fifth works driver. He has notched up no less than five victories on this racetrack. Porsche Junior Sven Müller (Germany), the current leader of the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland and the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, contests for Black Swan Racing. Competing for the Seattle/Alex Job Racing squad is the former Porsche junior Alex Riberas (Spain) and Mario Farnbacher (Germany). The Porsche vehiclesThe 470 hp 911 RSR is the most successful GT racing car of recent years. After se-curing victories at the long distance classics in Le Mans, Daytona, Sebring and Petit Le Mans, 2016 marks its last season as a works-run racer. Its successor is expected to make its racetrack debut in January 2017 at the Daytona 24-hour race. Porsche built the 500 hp Porsche 911 GT3 R for GT3 series worldwide based on the 911 GT3 RS production sports car. The new customer racer scored its first victory in the IMSA SportsCar Championship at Laguna Seca in May.The scheduleThe race at Elkhart Lake takes off on Sunday, 7 August, at 15:05 hrs local time (21:05 hrs CEST) and runs over 2:40 hours. The race can be viewed live outside the USA on .Pre-race quotesDr Frank-Steffen Walliser, Head of Porsche Motorsport: “The Road America race is a real classic. Our drivers are looking forward to competing on this fast, demanding track. As part of our preparations we have tried to build on the progress we made at the last race at Lime Rock Park. At that round we were in the position to fight for a top spot. Despite the limited time, the team will do everything so that our driversagain have the best possible chances at Road America. Their recent defeat below their true potential can be attributed to various reasons. We will all be working hard to change that.”Patrick Pilet (911 RSR #911): “Road America is a little like Spa, fast and challeng-ing. It’s a racetrack with loads of character. Last year we had a great race there, where we came from the very back of the field to win. You don’t experience that eve-ry day. I hope we can secure a better grid spot this time – we were very happy with the race result. To win at Road America you need the best package of car, driver and team. Only then do you have a chance on this circuit.”Nick Tandy (911 RSR #911): “I have great memories of Road America. Last year we started from the very last grid spot after experiencing a problem in qualifying and we won – I’ll never forget the feeling of overtaking the entire GT field in the 911 RSR. Road America is one of the most traditional racetracks in the USA. It’s a piece of American sports car history and it’s always great fun competing there.”Earl Bamber (911 RSR #912): “Road America is one of my favourite racetracks in America. Last year I secured pole position with the 911 RSR and obviously I’m hop-ing that we can deliver another strong performance again this time. We went testing there a while ago and worked on a baseline setup for the 911 RSR. Hopefully we can benefit from this.”Frédéric Makowiecki (911 RSR #912): “This is another American racetrack on which I’ve never competed. I’m looking forward to this new experience. Road Ameri-ca is one of very few old circuits left in the USA and hence it is steeped in tradition. It’s an exciting challenge for every driver. After things haven’t gone so well for us re-cently I’m hoping that our team’s hard work will be rewarded and that we regain a little of our old strength at Road America.”Jörg Bergmeister (911 GT3 R #73): “There’s no other circuit I look forward to more than Road America. It’s a classic racetrack that has everything a driver could wish for – it’s very fast, very hilly and very challenging. No wonder that sports car fans travel from far and wide to witness this race. Road America is my all-time favourite in the USA, and that’s not just because I’ve celebrated many successes there with Por-sche.”Mario Farnbacher (911 GT3 R #23): “What I enjoy most about the IMSA SportsCar Championship are the great racetracks. They’re not boring Grand Prix circuits, but real drivers’ racetracks that are challenging and fun. I think Road America stands at the top of the list.”Alex Riberas (911 GT3 R #23): “As far as top speed is concerned, this is probably the fastest racetrack on the IMSA SportsCar Championship calendar. It’s challenging and huge fun.”This is the IMSA SportsCar ChampionshipThe IMSA SportsCar Championship is a sports car race series contested in the USA and Canada, which was run in 2014 for the first time.
