Teaching aims: 1、Master the vocabulary in four skills.

2、Master the drills about talking what are you going to do during the vacation. Teaching key points: master the vocabulary and drills

Teaching difficult points: The pronuciation of “relatives” .

Teaching aids: A tape recorder ,words cards and some pictures.

Teaching procedure:

一、Organization.

1、The whole class sing some English songs.

2、Check the presentation of the class.

二、Revision

1、Have Ss turn to page P12, read the passages .

2、Revise the phrase : take photo

三、Presentation.

1、Tell Ss today we are going to study more new phrases .

2、Show the pictures and let Ss try to read out : play with friend , read books ,

take photos .

3、Show other pictures and teach rest of the phrases : have a picnic , visit relatives ,

held Dad , make models , surf the Internet .

4、Make a situation :Tell Ss next week is a vacation . Then lead out :What are you

going to do during the vacation ?

5、Have Ss try to answer .

6、The teacher make dialogues with Ss.

7、Make pair work with your partner .

四、Practice

1、Play a game : Which word is missing?

2、Make dialogues using the words cards in group of four.

五、Homework: Copy down the new words and the sentences.
